Happy Land is one of the most popular theme parks in the nation (just assume it is an obscure East Asian country, can be Japan, Taiwan or South Korea). The park is popular among teenagers and high schoolers, often being chosen as a destination for an end of school year field trip. The centerpiece of the park is it's mascots. Featuring Happy the Bear and her friends. By day, the park seems fun and the mascots are always around to take pictures with guests and goof around. They generally say that most of the mascots are animatronics with only a few exceptions with bookable mascots being people in costumes, so there is better interaction. However, there are rumors that the mascots roam the park at night and do really strange stuff. There have been some reports that people who bully the mascots find themselves being stalked by the mascots to their homes where they just stand across the street and stare. There have been confirmed incidents with Happy the Bear, Strawberry the Wolf and Creamy the Fox. They had to completely revamp Happy because she killed a guest. But that was years ago and the reputation of the park has recovered since then. The mascots still tend to behave oddly.

Setting: Happy Land: A large theme park in a bigger city that is centered around it's mascots. On site, there is an apartment complex that used to be employee housing but is mainly used nowadays by mascots or people who play mascots, even though the animatronics usually go to the storehouse after closing. The entrance area has a street with snack shops and merchandise shops. The street is like a golden cobblestone road, yet still flat enough to not trip. Each mascot has their own part of the park, Happy town, Strawberry's den, Creamy's candy land, Foamy's water world, Apple's orchard and so on. Most of the time during opening hours, the mascots are found in their respective locations, however can tend to go on "walks" where they go to other parts of the park. Aside from the mascots and regular employees, there is the park owner, a man possibly in his early 60s only seen at special events. He seems jumpy and nervous all the time, but can usually keep it together long enough to hold speeches at the opening of special events.
City: Outside of Happy Land, there is the city. The city has a population of around 500,000 and features many quiet neighborhoods. It is very possible that mascots have wandered out here before. They had found Strawberry in a public park around midnight before and Creamy once sat on a wall just outside the house of someone who was at the park just that day.

As a mascot, you can be an animatronic/android, cyborg, a convicted felon or a deranged personality.
Guests played by other people can only be killed under consent of the player playing them.
