Halp BB Codes?

Dear whomever this concerns,


I am new to this and I really don't know what i'm doing. My friend and long time pal yuckeroni suggested I joined this website, and so far it looks like fun and something I really would be into. However, as she was showing me the basics, she said that my text looked strange because my screen is not incorporating the "bb" code. To be honest I have no experience with bb codes and really I don't even know what they are. Anyways, the hight restriction of pictures is interfering with what would otherwise be an enjoyable experience. A lot of the text gets covered up and looks very strange. I am on a mac and really need help because yuckeroni has no experience with macs. Thank you in advance.

Second, I don't think I fully understand your core problem, thus I will ask you kindly to provide some screenshots of what appears to be the problem so I can better assess your issue.
