Realistic or Modern Hades Organization Interest Check

Hades Organization RP



Cursed objects from the worst criminals in history have been passed down from person to person (usually related to the original criminal) and are giving its owners a power most people don't know even exists. The object chooses its owner and once the bond is made it's unbreakable. Those that own a cursed object are tracked down by a secret organization of spies, mercenaries, assassins and other members and is called the Hades Organization. They are brought in and trained in one of their facilities, some do it willingly while some are forced but if they cant be tamed they are done for. The organization calls those training facilities Academy’s but they have little in common with real schools. The RP is about a group of ’students’ (ages 16-25) who go to the same ’Academy’ and live together as well as later fulfill assignments given by the Hades organization. Some might try to escape, some might want to become the best in their field that they can be or some even manage to escape (later in the RP of course) but all of them will forever stay...cursed.

It will not be first come first serve so once the CS page is up you can post your CS and if it gets a heart the CS is accepted (the ’worst criminals in history’ can also be fictional but if they are please contact me by PM to talk it over before posting the CS).

Yeah in case some of you were wondering the RP is partially inspired by the TV series Nikita and the anime Dansai Bunri no Crime Edge but you don't need to know them to join since the story of the RP is different than the series/anime

Info you might need to know:

- Powers won't be extremely powerful so please keep that in mind when making a CS (if you don't know what I mean feel free to PM me or wait until I make the Lore/info page to get more information about the powers and cursed objects).

- Powers aren't the main focus of the story/RP, its the characters lives, rise in the ranks of the organization, etc...

- If you wish to play experienced members of the organization like instructors PM me and let me know what you have in mind.

- No one-liners, please. A paragraph will be minimum in the IC thread so please respect that (I do understand sometimes it isn't possible but if that happens at least give people something to work with).

- Romance will be welcome in the RP but don't force it on others or make it the main focus.

I have a few questions that seem unanswered from the info page:

- Setting
1) Is this related to Greek mythology?
2) Is it implied that all forms of magic or some godly power exist?
3) What exactly are we to expect from the settings vibe?

- Cursed Object
1) Must all characters possess a cursed object?
2) How is a character assigned to a cursed object? The object chooses the character, is it left to our discretion basically?

- Hades Organization
1) How known are they?
2) What is their 'vocalized' or 'obvious' mandate (I don't care about the hidden agenda yet)?
3) Will you create a chain of command?
4) How do our characters fit into the organization? What is expected of them exactly?

I think for now these are my main questions.

1) Is this related to Greek mythology? No
2) Is it implied that all forms of magic or some godly power exist? There isn't any godly power or magic in the RP or rather there wont be any mention of it. Imagine one of the worst criminals in history and how much negative energy someone like that must have had, so after they die part of their energy/soul is drawn to the object that they most used or always had with them, which is why with every owner the object gets more powerful and dangerous since it takes part of its owners energy after they die. The object is like a storage of negative energy that grants its owner a power in return for a price as well as the energy it takes after the owner dies.
3) What exactly are we to expect from the settings vibe? Sorry I don't know what you meant by that but I was thinking that at first it would be about their academy lives and then also about their jobs so it wouldn't be a fluffy kittens and candy kinda thing but more a darker RP. If that's what you meant otherwise let me know what you wanted to know.

- Cursed Object
1) Must all characters possess a cursed object? No, but if they don't the character would have to have some very great skills since its an organization that doesn't take just anyone.
2) How is a character assigned to a cursed object? The object chooses the character, is it left to our discretion basically? The circumstances that lead to an object and its owner bonding as well as the price to pay for it I will leave to each person to decide on their own. Some get the object inherited, some find it and in some cases 'the object finds then', it's up to you guys to make up what you wish it to be.

- Hades Organization
1) How known are they? It operates in the shadows and all over the world but while its a well-known organization in the criminal circles the cops haven't caught on to their existence yet.
2) What is their 'vocalized' or 'obvious' mandate (I don't care about the hidden agenda yet)? Controlling the illegal going ons in the world is something they have their eyes on, they want to be in control of anything illegal so that they would have power and would be out of the reach of law enforcement. (in a power makes the world go round kinda way)
3) Will you create a chain of command? I was thinking about it and thought about making the higher-ups NPCs so anyone can play them. But if anyone wants a role like that, let me know and I will be okay with that.
4) How do our characters fit into the organization? What is expected of them exactly? Well that I think I wrote already but okay, they are trainees to become the organization's assassins, agents, cleaners, techs,...(list is on the info page) They are expected to graduate from the training program and become part of the organization (if they don't graduate they are terminated). I was thinking that some could escape later on in the RP and the others from their training group would be sent to either recapture or eliminate them.
