Habromania
Hello Hello! Nice to meet you, I'm Habro, WM, or whatever you'd like to call me (she/her), and ready to start a story with you! I'm still a bit new to this site (forgive my inexperienced formatting and navigation) but not to roleplay, with about eight years of experience now. I'm hoping to be able to condense my plots in one spot, and since they're all interesting and I am checking them for you, I would love to display them here for ya!
To start off, here's a little bit about me!
❇ I've been writing for the last eight years, on again off again, but always improving. I write OC's, third person, and 3+ paragraphs exclusively! ❇
❇ OC x OC - I will write within fandom worlds on occasion but that's not my preference, however, I will take inspiration from them. ❇
❇ I can write multiple characters in various PoV's though I prefer to have a single main character to play. I play both male and female characters, and pairings can range depending on the story and the characters themselves, so something we would discuss while plotting. ❀ LGBTQ+ Friendly!!! ❀ While side characters are not required (especially in our beginning plotting phase) they do add value and I tend to add them as we get into our story! ❇
❇ I am a literate writer who writes to the scene -- dialogue heavy scenes will require less writing -- however my baseline is at least three paragraphs, and I can promise you I will not write more than two pages consecutively, I find that it becomes taxing when I am expected to write page after page in one response and it loses my interest fast, thus quality over quantity comes into play. ❇
❇ When I am not a full time student, I am a full time worker in a very emotionally taxing industry, so while writing is my escape, sometimes it might feel like a chore. My responses at this moment range from every few days to weekly. When I know I am busy or when I think I've been quiet for too long, I will reach out to let you know the circumstances. I hope for, but don't require, the same from my partner. ❇

What I am looking for!
❇ A good story with world building! I enjoy digging into our world as much as I love the story. ❇
❇ 18+ no exceptions ❇
❇ I have a special place in my heart for fantasy, and I will admit those stories usually take priority for me. However, I have an open mind -- an idea is an idea and I will entertain anything you bring to the table. ❇
❇ Communication! I want you to be able to suggest your ideas freely, I want you to feel comfortably to take my ideas to twist and critique, for both of us to be able to build on a basis and come to an understanding on the direction our story could take. If you think we need to change some of the history to better fit the present, share how you want to do it! If anything makes you uncomfortable, tell me and we can work through it so we both feel safe with the story. This should be fun and a safe space to be in. ❇
❇ OOC is key! Please be willing to chat OOC on world building, plot building, and just getting to know eachother. What books do you read? Do you make playlists based on your stories? What's the latest show you're watching? These are inspiration and will help us get to know eachother and write better! ❇
❇ The most important piece, which ties into communication: come with ideas! If any of my plots (or if just me myself and I interest you, which I would be flattered by) please message me (don't just comment on this thread) and have a few ideas (more than one!) for us to brainstorm and pick between! If I'm not interested in them, I'll tell you, but I will usually give it a good go. And if you do like my plots, this rule still applies, come with ideas on how to make the plot better and how to make it more comfortable for you to write and have fun with. I've already given you the basis, it's your turn to give it some depth! ❇

Now, without further ado, here are my current plots! Closed plots are more so to show you some of what I am interested in and to give you some ideas of me as a storyteller and writer. However, with a good argument I am willing to open them up to you. All plots are open to changing genre, relationship, character design, and anything else you can think of. They're rough ideas, they're meant to be changed, and I think you're the perfect person to help me with that!

Muse A is a trained assasin, seasoned and thorough in their work. They're an assasin for hire, whoever bids the highest price for them, though they do have loyalty to their teacher, a blood bond that they can't refuse. Not even when the mission is to kill the royal heir.
The royals have been corrupt for too long, the people are upset and the kingdom is in turmoil. Muse A doesn't deny the difficulty of this job, they wouldn't refuse on that basis alone, but one thing that they've always stuck to is their faith that the royal heir could be better. There already have been changes, though not enough to satiate the people. Where does this faith come from? It's hard to tell. Is it the heir's actions? Is it a shared history? Is it blind faith?
Even if they wanted to, however, they couldn't refuse this job. And so they plan.
They could enter the palace undercover, they have plenty of time to do so. As a servant, perhaps a foreign ambassador. They could work their way up... the only think in their way? The heirs knight. For some reason, they seem to look right through Muse A's disguise.
They could use their skill and sneak into the palace in the dead of night, a risky game that would take a lot of planning.
They could lure the heir out. Or wait until the festival, the last moment possible.
What stands in their way (the other character)? The knight, the unloyal mercenaries guarding the palace, another assasin given the same mission, a theif in the wrong place at the wrong time, a servant that knows all too well, other. '
This idea is not entirely thought out and is the scraps of a reaching mind, it doesn't even have to be a royal, it could be a scholar or a merchant/'s kid. I've just been craving an assasin x prey romance.
Alexia LaRein knew she lived above the means of others around her. She was more than aware that the screams coming from beneath the restaurant floor boards was not something all restaurant owners dealt with. She understood why some of the kids at school backed away from her when she walked past. And she knew that once she could, she would be in control of each shadow that flitted around her.
The LaRein's are not all powerful, no they could be squashed in just a moments notice, however they are in a very powerful position, being an axis point for many of the big players. Grenadine's is always a hub of activity, the restaurant hosting every sort of person, from the powerful to the meak, the omnipotent to the ignorant. If you wanted good food or a good deal, you knew where to go. Owner Freddy LaRein is the boss that others would hire to clean up messes, he knew how to scrub the blood out until fabric shined white once more. He knew which lake was too red, which landfill stank, which floor board creaked too much, and what column would crach the entirety of a building. He was quiet, discrete, and he was smart. A trait his daughter unfortunately caught.
Alexia had been shielded to the best of Freddy's knowledge as she grew up, her mother keeping her close to her skirts, until her younger brother came along, and her mother grew preoccupied with a failing health. With Alexia able to go off on her own, she explored whatever she could and perhaps saw too much.
At 15, she had been taken for ransom. There was no hiding the secret from her then. After a week, she had gotten out, with a heavy price to pay that outweighted money alone. At 17, she found herself in hidden corridores beneath the Grenadine's, watching as her father mapped out plans, as her uncle returned from his 'vacations,' as her godfather stained his hands. Hands that had cradled her as a babe.
Now 20, Alexia is making her move for power.
Alexia is an OC of mine, she's a power hungry (underestimated) girl that wants the world under her heel, to prove that her family is worth more. Is she entirely mentally stable? No one in her position would be, make no mistakes there, besides what fun would it be if she were?
Here are some ideas for your character
-- body guard
----- an ex-gang member (perhaps spent time in jail) that is looking for revenge, is hoping that this pairing will put them back in power, and that in the process, their previous gang will be wiped out.
----- a police officer that has fallen under her spell, after getting in a sticky situation they saved her from, they can't seem to get her out of their mind, and their run ins aren't helping
----- her father has hired a body guard for her, knowing her ambition he knows he can't do anything but try. So this hire is a secret, someone who just so happens to be in the right place at the right time, saving her from a few close encounters. Eventually she catches on, but by that point it's too late for them to move on, they're committed
-- a rival gang
----- the enemy of my enemy is my friend -- in her search to take power, she needs friends. She finds them in search of an ally, and their bond forms
----- they are rivals, through and through, but somehow Alexia is able to worm her way under their skin (perhaps they were never truly enemies, just their family, Alexia has already caught their attention) and under the pretense of a bargain, to take down a more powerful family, they join forces
These ones aren't fleshed out, BUT, I have been thinking about some angel and demon storylines.
Anyways, like I said, not fully thought through, they were brief flashes of ideas I would love to expand upon if anyone is interested!
1 - My Character (MC) lost their sibling recently, but it never seemed right. There were hints, and clues but no one had been able to figure it out. They had raised MC since their parents died years ago, hiding them without them finding out why. Now their sibling is gone, and they're seeing things, and the only thing between them and whatever fate found the rest of their family is YC, their guardian angel.
MC recently lost their older brother. It's been six months since and in that time, she had dropped out of college, lost her apartment, and only just found a job to pay her enough for a new place. Whether she shows up or not has been questionable. Since her borthers death, her mother had stopped talking to her, and she had effectively been closed off from everything she had known. Her father was already long dead, perhaps her only blessing. So she'd think. What she doesn't know is that there is a guardian angel watching over her (YC) but YC has had their hands rather full recently. Her brother had been busy in the months leading up to his death, uncovering secrets their father had clumsily left behind. Little by little, he was following breadcrumbs to his ultimate demise. Had that been what took their father as well?
What MC doesn't know is that her brother may not have been innocent in it all. Here, there are options.
A) Her brother had walked into a devils den. Perhaps he had gambled his life away, perhaps he hadn't had the opportunity to and he was now theirs to control. What he had to do for his freedom was lead them to the angels, only someone with a guardian angel can reach the angels, and this family is descended from a line of angels to boot (we can discuss why their family is important historically). In his attempt to help the devils, he lost his life, either by a demon or angel is yet to be found out.
B) Her brother captured his guardian angel. In his curiosity, he found out how to summon an angel, and trap it in a circle. Of course, he was a novice and didn't know what he was doing. In his attempt, he not only summoned an angel, but he opened up a rift between the worlds that would lead demons right into earth. It was a rip that had been there, slowly growing, but something in what he did was to extreme that he ripped the hole between worlds even larger. It's up to his siter to figure out what happened to him, and patch the hole he (and his father before him) had made. -- an idea is that instead of having guardian angels, the angel now watching over her is the one that her brother, and father before, had captured.
2 - C1 wakes up one day with divine powers. They didn't appear all at one, it was a gradual growth, but a certainly a noticable growth when suddenly time froze and the world arround them stopped moving. Not only that but it appeared that they could move within time much faster than before... Of course, this new magic will fully be taken advantage of, and they wouldn't be too quiet about it, bringing rather unwanted attention, but what would that matter when they can control time? And more? As they warm up to their new abilities, more and more are slowly being uncovered, perhaps with some physical changes as well. What they don't know is that this magic is killing them. Their mortal body isn't meant to hold holy or unholy divinity.
C2 had been messing around with spells they had no right using, and lost their abilities. They had no idea where their magic had gone, but none of it was responding to them, and they suddenly found themself stranded on Earth with not a soul to help them. Now, they need to get them back, but first they have to find it. In C1 using the magic, the divine world is stirring, and all C2 has to do is follow their trail. Leading them directly to C1. But there was no way C1 could have their magic, they just know C1 knows something, and hopes that by recruiting them, they can help in the quest. Meanwhile, C3, (the opposite divinity of C2, so if C2 is an angel, C3 is a demon) has been noticing these disturbances and is looking for some fun. What a delight it is when they find a powerless C2, and a mortal at the end of the stick. In this time, the balance of divinity and life is out of balance, and weird supernatural occurances are happening. How does C2 get their abilities back without exposing their position? Does C3 help or hinder this quest, will C1 be able to survive?
Maya Raswan is a witch, not only that, she's a Reaper. With the ability to see ghosts and help them pass over, and being among one of the rarest witches, her role is rather valuble, however lonely it might be.
1. Our characters go to Witch Academy (think Chilling Adventures of Sabrina) to learn about their magics. Some witches live in the academy, some live from home, some split life between the human world and the witch world. This can be modern, or fantasy. Humans and witches can have good relationships or bad ones, or perhaps they don’t even know the other exists.
a) They can all be witches, or it can be the witch/warlock divide, but they all do the same things, alright?
b) I’d be up to doing this as a witch x human
c) this could also be a fun enemy to lovers! Perhaps our characters just don’t get along in school, and are either put together on a project (maybe a scavenger hunt of sorts) or put against each other in some sort of trials.
2. Your character is a ghost, malevolent or benevolent, in any case, they haven’t been able to cross over to the afterlife for some reason, and it’s up to Maya to help them. This brings them on an adventure, and perhaps to find out how/why they died. Perhaps Y/C was killed, maybe they remember, maybe they don’t, or the memories come slowly.
a) this would be more of an adventure with a string of events and include many different characters rather than steady secondary characters, be prepared to write for multiple different types of characters as we meet them.
b) this could be fun as a modern travel across the world, or as a fantasy where there are different creatures with totally different abilities
3. Witches and warlock clans all have their own jobs in the world. For Maya, it’s Reapings. They find souls and bring them to their afterlife. But sometimes, this requires the help of other clans and vice versa.
a) their clans are rival clans, but our characters need each other's help
b) your character is a reaper, and they end up searching for the same escaped soul, a very important one that the Academy wants back
c) your character (being a psychic) accidentally parted their soul from their body, but Maya is the only one they know that can see them and help put them back.
-----> Y/C may have been a wandering soul for years, trying to find someone to help them back to their body and with reaper witches being rare, stumble across Maya
d) our characters are best friends, but your character doesn’t know Maya is a witch, not until something happens to Y/C (maybe Y/C dies, or another witch curses them, or parts their soul from body as a curse or something of the sorts) and Maya finds out and has to help, ultimately revealing her identity
It was the first day of school, their senior year (or sophomore+ year of college). C1 sat beside her closest friend, C3. C3 is the girl with raven black hair and icy blue eyes that could cut with a pension for trouble. C1 was the good girl, always handed her work in on time, never drank under 21, just wanting to fit in under the radar. The pair had met freshmen year and stuck together ever since, for whatever reason. Maybe C1 gave C3 the stability she needed, and C3 gave C1 the excitement in life she didn't know she needed. The room was abuzz with people talking about their summer, the vacations they took and the relationships that may or may not have bloomed. At their table, C3 was usually the first to volunteer her summer up, but her attention was on something, someone else. The new kid, and their attention was right back at the two girls. Elbowing C3, "Don't even think about it," C1 said softly. "Boys like him spell trouble." ("Girls/Those like her/them spell trouble")
Two months later, C3 and C2 were dating. C1 didn't spend as much time with the raven haired girl, but what time she did spend with her was often in the company of C2. Three months into the school year is when everything really changed. She never went looking for trouble, but C1 had caught C2's eye.
An old plot, but I've recently been imagining... what if it was supernatural? Or fantasy, even. Modern times, or we could whip it into another time period. Perhaps C1's bloodline is important without her knowing, and C2 has to get to her, either to kill her, or protect her from those looking to kill her. C2 can be vampire, werewolf, witch/wizard, an angel, anything. My thoughts on the players would be that one of us would take C2 and the other would take both C1 and C3, and if comfortable taking another character, then C2 and C4 would eventually double up, because I know if I end up taking C2, I will want another character to fall back on as well, but if you take them that's up to your comfort.
If modern and realistic, I do have a preference for C1 and C3, however other than that it's up to you/our plotting to decide! This plot will take some dark turns, so if you have any limits or themes you absolutely do not want to include, please tell me, and we will be sure to keep them out. Neither of us should be made uncomfortable. However, with that said, there will be dark themes, and feel free to come with suggestions (respecftully). I enjoy a good character-ruination.
Part One
C1 moved in with their family more or less against their will. It meant a new school, a new routine, and worst of all: they now lived in the middle of nowhere. Perhaps it wouldn’t have been so bad if C1 had been a child without any attachments or pride. But, alas.
One day C1 was in the back yard with their dog, playing fetch, when the ball went into the forest. The trees always seemed to be watching, and the dog never seemed to be willing to go anywhere past the tree line. That day, C1 wasn’t having any of it, and hiked through the trees to find the damned ball. There was a crack behind them, though, and when they turned they realized they were no longer in sight of the house. How could that have happened? They had only gone a few feet into the woods? Pulling their phone out, they find that they don’t have cell service, and for some reason their battery was draining at a rapid rate.
Another stick snapped, and C1 ran.
Alternatively, C1 is a college student and their family moved but now they’ve come home due to circumstances (medical, drop out, job-wise, etc), or C1 is on their own and had to move for a job relocation.
Part 2
C2 had never been able to cross over. They could see the house right beyond the trees, just out of reach, but whenever they went to get closer it was almost as if a barrier was in their way. They had never seen anything go through this barrier, either from or towards the house. Until that day. C1 had appeared out of nowhere, and C2 had just been playing their mind game, trying to figure this puzzle out. It wasn’t any type of magic they had ever seen and yet… this human, this C1 had been able to crack it. Unable to help their curiosity, they moved towards C1 only for the newcomer to bold.
Eventually through some events C2 had gotten C1 back, and was able to explain everything. They explained how no one had ever been able to cross that barrier, and that they had been waiting for C1 for years now.
Events occur, An adventure from here on happens – there are dangers everywhere and this is a dying world. And C1 just wants to go home, but can’t. So C2 shows them their world, what little there is. Eventually C2 helps C1 get back home, only to find that C2 still can’t cross the barrier.
Some time passes – note that time moves differently in the two worlds – and with no word from C2, C1 is worried, especially after news of others from their world being able to escape. Suddenly, nothing is too much and C2 throws themselves at the barrier both mentally and physically to get to the other side. And then… they are in the backyard of a house they’ve stared at their whole life. They crossed the barrier.
There isn’t much time, though. C2 has news, they just have to find C1.
History: Years ago there was a family that lived at the top of the hill, past a gate, up a driveway through old growth forest, a family of prestige with a big name in the town. A rather quaint town known mostly for it's factories and tourism, once wealthy due to this. This town is also home to a highly educated lot, with plenty of resources going into their educations, a both in primary and secondary schools. Founding this town was a few big names, including the source of our story. This particular family came to an end not so long ago, with no extended family to take it over. The last of the family was a son who had married and had a beautiful daughter. A perfect family, though poison had over time seeped into the floorboards of this ancient estate, or perhaps it was the town failing economy. Behind closed curtains, this man had become an alcoholic, functioning to society, abusive to his new family. It wasn't long after the birth of their daughter, old enough to know who she was, young enough to not know what had happened, that he had killed his wife, burying her in an unmarked grave. When his daughter was old enough to put the pieces together, to formulate her own escape, he took her too, burying her next to her mother, another unmarked grave, as if they had never been there from the start. The two were forgotten, the townspeople didn't even remember them, however somehow their story lived on, or perhaps it was only their ghosts. Some years later the man died, his body never found.
Now: in their youth, kids will sometimes go to this mansion to test their bravery. Some don't come back, though no one ever remembers them. Everyone should know to leave this place alone in any case, ghost stories still remain rampant. Drunk, high, frisky, curious, whatever influence they were under, a group of friends decide to test fate, and approach the mansion late one night. The curious -- fearless, stupid, whatever you might call them -- goes off on their own, exploring deeper into the mansion than the rest. Not long after arriving, before any of the others can persue to curious, the police show up, lights flashing. With no time to look for their friend, the group scatters, all making it out to find eachother in school the following day/week. Except for the curious. They didn't show up that day, or the day after, and something weird happened... no one seemed to notice except the group that had been at the mansion. Deciding to figure this out, they question teachers, friends, but no one remembers the curious one. They even go to the parents, and see photos of the curious one out, but the father doesn't remember anything, only the mother seems to have had this feeling, dreams, but no real memory, and the pictures were passed off as a cousin.
During all of this, weird things have begun happening to this friend group, say deer jumping in front of them on the road driving, or school accidents that could have been fatal, etc. Perhaps one of them ends up at the hospital at some point. In any case, something weird is happening and they have to get to the bottom of it. The only link they have to these events? The mansion. If only they could find those unmarked graves.
Some basic pairings we can work with, too granted you have a plot idea in mind!
Thief x Royal*
Royal x Ambassador/Foreign Kingdoms Guard
Royal x Knight
Knight x Peasant
Royal Knight x Assasin*
Rebel x Guard*
Student/Schoolsmarts x Streetrat/Streetsmarts*
Ganglord/boss x Rival/Ex-Rival
Quiet and Noble x Chaotic and Abused
