Character A is Muggle-born; the prejudice against Muggles—and the danger that they are in—drives their compulsion to speak up on behalf of those with Muggle ancestries (and Muggles themselves).
———Character B is pure-blood; the need to demonstrate that not all pure-bloods side with Voldemort, are shallow, or unaware of their privilege is the reason they accept their nomination.
———Character C is half-blood; they have no particular reason to join (unless their RPer comes up with a specific one) past wanting to make a difference.
———Character D is an orphan with unknown heritage; the knowledge that they have relations somewhere out there who will be impacted by whatever unfolds overcomes any qualms they might have about participating.

There's a new competition at Hogwarts. Requiring one student from each house, the four winners are being called to represent Hogwarts at the first worldwide wizarding school conference. This conference is intended to attempt to save the wizarding world from Voldemort and his agenda.
