History: The Advanced Combat Droid-1313 is a next-gen combat drone prototype made on Xandar. However the scientist working on it used an experimental AI unit which made the Droid completely sentient. Personality: Deck is a play by the rules lawful good guy. He lots of times goes overboard to protect the ones he believes in, and comes off as a bit corny and old fashioned with his morals and loyalty. He's a huge fan of music from his time period, being swing, ragtime, and is particularly fond of the ink spots. Even though he often feels out of place in this massively advanced world, he tries his best to adapt with the times and is an overall intelligent and kind person.

Weapon: Having experience in World War II, Deck is very fond of traditional guns, yet also taught himself to use more modern technology, so he's capable of using both. His nativity to 1940s technology actually helps him with current tech because he has experience with both ends of the spectrum.

Sexuality: Straight. He used to think that being gay was against nature, but came to realize how wrong he was when he made the jump almost a century into the future.


History/Backstory: Deck was born on American soil in the early 1930s, and later served in the war at the mere age of 15, passing because of an early growth spurt which would also coincidentally be his last. As a soldier, Deck was outstanding. Intelligent, tough, and was renown by the entire American army, even meeting the President on multiple occasions. At the age of 18, Deck was requested to travel to what is theorized to be Area 51, unknowingly to be cryogenically frozen in order to preserve some of America's finest war heroes. Everything was fine and dandy for a while, he was planned to be unfrozen 100 years later, yet 90 in, unidentifiable life forms raided the National Archives and found Deck's chamber, taking it with them into the stars. For about 8 years, Deck was sold around as a frozen statue of sorts, to be displayed as a remnant of some obscure planet's past. Finally, however, he was sold into the hands of Doctor Steinwirt, a rogue Amazonian scientist who realized there was a way to unfreeze the poor young man, and so she did, setting him free to roam the Galaxy. He's been doing so for about 2 years now, taking on odd jobs and trying to do what's right for the rest of the universe. Yet all he really wants to see is another human like him, they aren't too common in these parts.
