Other Group rps?

Hey y'all,

So I've been role-playing for a bit, and I'm a little embarrassed to say I've never tried a group role-play. I'm not really sure I'm ready to try one yet, but I would like to know if there's a standard set of rules I should learn before starting or if it differs from group to group?

I'm open to any advice, tips, and pointers

It varies by group. I would read through any information that the GM ( person who runs the roleplay ) has set into place. If you have additional questions just ask them directly.

Some good general rules
1. be realistic on how often you can post. And LET THE OTHER PLAYERS KNOW. So they aren't trying to tag you when you can't reply.
2. Be active in the OOC. Talk to other players, get to know them, make suggestions for character plots, etc.

That's pretty much it honestly. All other rules will vary greatly depending on the type of group and how the GM runs it.

Nothing that's not present in 1x1 RPs. You just have more than one person in it, that's all. Mentioned OOC thing is not really that important - not more important than in 1x1. So, basically, it's all the same, just more people.
