GryphonABLaZ(E). Lawful chaotic good
Magdalena May
Aliases: Wraith
Age: 24
Occupation: Bounty Hunter, ‘The People’s Assassin,’
Appearance other: Very intricate tattoo of an owl in red and black stretching across her upper back, accentuated with various patterns characteristic of her tribe.
(Note; she does not have the arm thing from fallout)
Personality:
Impersonal. Professional. Of course she questions orders and wants to know the why, she’s a hired gun, not a soldier. But she never stalls or drags on, it’s bothersome. At the same time, she’s incredibly patient. Have to be if you want a good shot.
Magdalena will never let her guard down. Sure, she may laugh and chat over a drink, but her guard is not down. Do not think it is. She is not a people person. Don’t try and become her friend. That’s not something she has.
Background:
Magdalena is half Native American. You’re not going to know more about that; the only reason you would know is because she is visibly half Native American.
Magdalena has a fairly stereotypical occupation for someone in a Wild West Wasteland, yes. She’s not gonna chat much about how she came by it.
She’s also got another ‘part-time’ job of sorts.
There’s a ‘people’s assassin’ running around, executing public figures that are unpopular in their districts. They’re called ‘the wraith.’
Magdalena May has no bounty on her head. The Wraith has a fairly significant one, though.
As Wraith, depending on the conditions of her contract, Magdalena will use any of her weapons; knife, bow, or rifle. Rifle for assassinations at events, and any of her weapons for killings nobody has to see. She always removes arrows before she leaves. If nobody knows that a bow is one of Wraith’s weapons, that makes it all the more difficult to track her down.
In any situation, her knives are for close-quarters fights, her slingshot is for short range, her bow is for short- to mid-range, and her rifle is for long range.
Equipment:
A high-power, long-distance rifle with a scope (literally just a steampunk take on a sniper rifle), complete with a bipod that you need to use unless you want to dislocate your shoulder. Her travel bag has several clips of ammunition, and she has a couple more in a small pouch on her belt.
A wooden bow and quiver of twenty-five arrows at her hip
A slingshot with both lead pellets and small bombs as ammunition
A knife hidden up her sleeve, bound to a light leather bracer. Similar to the Assassin’s Creed hidden blades. Made for stabbing
A suuuuuuuuper sharp obsidian knife with a blade about six inches and a bone handle, hidden in her left boot, made for slicing
A basic hunting knife in a sheathe on her right leg. Made for gutting animals or removing arrows from corpses
Other: Most skilled mechanic-who-doesn’t-actually-make-a-living-out-of-it that you’ll ever meet. She couldn’t tell you how or what she does, it just happens.
As such, she is the one who crafted… pretty much all her equipment. Her rifle, her bow&arrows, slingshot&bombs, hidden knife. Pretty much every weapon except her normal knife and hunting knife that she bought. Besides those, everything is custom and thus all the more difficult for investigators to identify.
Maybe she’s technopathic? Eh. She doesn’t know. She’s got no problems with it though, so she doesn’t feel like she absolutely needs to.
