Experiences Great role play experiences?

I’m curious if anyone has had any experience with role play, that’s made them smile. Or improved their day? Because I definitely have. ^^

If so, please share them! And maybe the plot too, it would be a nice read.

An RP where someone set themselves as an eligible vampire prince whose condition of becoming king was to find a suitable mate so his father could step down and retire after 800 years of rule. He was probably looking for people to start up as people to court his favor.

Instead me and some buddies Shanghaied the RP and couped the kingdom, kidnapping the prince and all around derailing the whole thing.

For his part the DM played it all in good faith and went along with three utter goons obliterating his vampire kingdom in eight hours.


Likewise the time well before where the same friends and I seized control of a tropical resort hangout type RP where the resort was collapsed, several hundred NPC 2000s sparkle dog furries were killed, a nuclear submarine crashed onto a beach as French anti-terrorism units assaulted the island and there was a rap battle.

Everyone else not in on the bit themselves played along with this new exciting course of action.

Once in a slice of life game we did a cooking contest as one of the main events of the story- I knew absolutely nothing about cooking, so as one of the GMs I had to watch a bunch of youtube videos because we had some players that were legit in their culinary knowledge. It wound up being great fun and absolutely hilarious, not to mention I learned a ton about cooking that I still use today.
