Worried about changing your environment? We build our dorm rooms specifically to each student. Choose between a two bedroom or 4 bedroom 'apartment' style dorm. Each equipped with their own bathroom, and a shared kitchen, dining room, and study area. All you need to do is fill out our Bedroom Design Form, and our contractors will do their best to get your room exactly how you like it. You'll also need to fill out the Roommate Document to choose your room, your roommate, and for our upperclassmen, what room you'd like to have.
Please let us know if you'll be having a butler or maid, along with any other pets. Our academy also offers our own staff that'll help you with thatever you need. Whether it be studying, cleaning, cooking, protection-we have it all!

Overview
What do you know! Another college based rp!
Grand Ridge Academy is where royals, nobles, and sometimes commoners of some different races. There's a limit to their magical ability and things of the like, so I have the right to deny or change a bit to make it fit into the story more.
While romance is definitely not required, it'll add some incredibly fun drama!! Each grade will have a select schedule, and will live in a dorm room with 3 other people-don't worry, you'll have more than enough room for anything you can imagine.
This rp actually has two different options to choose from! Medieval, and Modern!! I'll go into depth more on each of their pages, but in short, Medieval is set in, well, medieval times, which would include carriages, courting, things of that like. Modern is set in 2022, with the things we know and love of today, like laptops, internet, cars, things like that!!
ClassesThere are 3 main classes in this academy; royalty, nobility, and commoner. Commoners are often given scholarships to attend the school, which can be on sports or academics. In the Medieval times, there isn't as many 'commoners' as there would be in the Modern times. Modern can also have a mix of kingdoms/cities where Monarchs reign, or where a president/anything of the like is voted upon. In the Modern times, Grand Ridge Academy is more like a private college than anything.
ScheduleThis is much like a college, where you'll have classes that you'll be able to choose from-and there is an incredible variety!

Story * - OOC1.All RPN rules apply.
2.Discord is a must for OOC chat.
3.4 Sentence minimum per post, and please try to post once every two weeks. After that you'll be contacted and given an extra week. After that, whoever is in you're writing with in your IC post will be able to post again.
4.Bigotry of any sort will not be tolerated
5.Be respectful towards one another. If there's any sort of issue, please privately message each other and/or the gm to resolve it outside of the main server.
Medieval IC1.While it's recommended that you attend class, you're given 5 days (per class) that you can skip and meet with the professor or other students later to catch up on what was missed
2.If you're not attending classes, you must stay on campus unless given permission otherwise. And you must be in your rooms from 11pm-5am.
3.You must have adult supervision at least somewhere with you, especially if you're to be romantic with anybody...but please don't be too romantic.
4.Drugs and alcohol possession, use, and distribution are prohibited.
5.Students are expected to show respect to one another and to the staff.
6.All students must have a guard or maid, either from their home or provided by the academy, near them at all times, unless in places such as; own dorm room, classroom, any event planned by the school, or unless given specific permission
Modern IC1.While it's recommended that you attend class, you're given 5 days (per class) that you can skip and attend online instead!!or just skip.
2.If you're not attending classes, you must stay on campus unless given permission otherwise. And you must be in your rooms from 11pm-5am.
3.Absolutely no students of the opposite gender allowed in the dorm rooms between 11pm and 5am.
4.Drugs and alcohol possession, use, and distribution are prohibited.
5.Students are expected to show respect to one another and to the staff.
6.Maids/servents/personal guards are not required, as Grand Ridge has it's own staff of maids, servents, and campus police. There is an app we recommend downloading where an officer will be with you quickly with just the push of a button, as well as a multitude of phone booths where you can call/push a button for an officer to come to that location. However, your own staff of personel are welcomed if you wish to bring them.
