Grand Fleet

Nanautzin easily cut the spiky flurries in two, his viral energy infecting the other energy, covering it in the membrane. With that done, Nanautzin ran after the virus immortal. Nanautzin held up his free hand and he then commenced shooting small spikes of thick membrane at the immortal's chest. Going for his legs would be preferred, but it was going to be a lot harder for him to hit legs.

"Petrification." The demon barely breathed out before grabbing the leg that was pushing against his face with an expression that could only belong to a madman. A mixture of determination, fear, bloodthirst, and thrill filled his face and his eyes reflected it beautifully. His life was in complete danger and he loved the feeling. Fellos was ecstatic that this little girl proved to be much more than he bargained for.

The hand that gripped the soldier's leg began to drip it's Metallic substance onto her limb. The organic alloy seemed alive, as it began to snake it's way up the female's leg, similar to how his hand was turning to stone before his very eyes. Lucky for Fellos, he had learned a similar trick in his years of battle.

Fellos tore his now stone grip away from the soldier, letting her fall to the floor in whichever way she may land. The devil's hand was apparently not the beginning as the petrification began to work it's way up his arm. "Well girl. Seems were at an impass. I'm not keen on being a statue the rest of my existence and I don't think you want to meld into the hull of the ship right?"

(So sorry for the late reply!!! D:)

An eye grew from the back of Williams head as he noticed the cause of his slowness. Some immortal thought they would try to stop him decimating their kin. A futile effort. A large circular tentacle the diameter of a car rushed from his back and flew over to the disturbance, obliterating the debris it was hiding behind and hopefully her as well.

Turning his attention back to the first immortal, he swung his sword again in an attempt to behead her. All the while two of his tail-like tentacles had snaked around and lasted into their feet with a deliberating strength that could crush steel. Whilst held in place, William was certain the immortal would fall victim to his Flesh Render, a blade that caused flesh to fall off the body upon immediate contact. Surely, despite the immortal gaining soul armour, it couldn't handle the pure power and destructive abilities that he possessed?

The Virus Immortal

Damn it, too strong. He dodged to the side, barely being able to avoid some of the spikes. A number of them still hit his shoulder and arm. He quickly used his own virus energy to attempt to neutralize and consume the strange virus energy. He channeled nearly a third of what was left of his energy in the spiky sphere that still moved along with him before the sent it flying as fast as he could towards the yet-to-be-a-Demon's chest. If it did hit, its spikes would extend to hook into the not-Demon's flesh. Such would happen even if by chance one got hit after bisecting the sphere.

@SleepyBuddha (Sorry for the great delay.)

Chance snickered and sat down with his legs crossed, hoping that the immortal might lower her guard and trust him a bit. "Well like all of the other immortals here, I dont like The Grand Fleets plans, and i intend to stop them." He looked around at all of the chaos of the battles, He watched as the demon he fought from earlier (although now he was barely recognizable) fought against two of the fleets Artificials. He decided getting involved in that fight would be pointless. he looked back to the immortal that was still with him "So what do you plan to do next miss....?" He still hadn't got her name, he was asking her what she planned to do so that he might be able to get an idea of what should be done next.

Alvis Bo

Grip tightening, the Air Immortal narrowed her gaze as the Immortal called Chance shifted, before lowering himself to the ground. Drawing in a quiet, but long breath Alvis reminded herself that some were allies.

"So what do you plan to do next miss...?" The still strange immortal questioned. Perhaps she should divulge her name, perhaps not. But she could affirm her plan with this immortal, as she knew it could assist her in her own way. Alvis glanced over at the prominent battle occurring distantly, interfering was not agreeable with her itinerary, and relocating those she had spent the past couple weeks with training was.

"I intend to reconvene with my associates in which I first joined this war with. You are welcome to assist." Alvis extended the offer for temporary companionship, whether he accepted or denied, the Air Immortal concluded it made no difference. For if he accepted, there was a chance of near trust or betrayal, if he denied, the endangerment may be far off.

@Shnuydude

Chance stayed quiet for a moment, she still hasn't said her name even when he asked for it, how rude. He glanced up at her, "Well since for once in my life i dont have a plan, helping you and your comrades out sounds like the best idea." He stood back up and stared at the immortal, he wondered if these immortals even had a plan when they attacked. He swatted those thoughts to the side, whether they had a plan or not doesnt matter anymore, theyre in the middle of a battle and theyll just have to work with makeshift plans for now. "So where to? do you know where they are?"

'Focus' Alex had his eyes closed, his senses attuned to the energy of the fighters around him. He needed to focus. Gravity energy built up around him, slowing pulling inward. He brought his hands forward. Within them was a single piece of metal that he'd grabbed as it floated passed him. The energy slowly penetrated it "We need to go deeper" he slammed his fist into the piece of metal and sent it flying forward.

It pierced into one of the Grand Fleet's ships "Burst and Attract" the piece inside of the ship began to rapidly ricochet across that ship. Each time it hit a piece of metal, it transferred a portion of it's energy into it. In a matter of moments, the entire ship began to vibrate "Boom"

The ship would begin to rip itself apart, each piece flying off to strike another ship. He wanted to clear a path through the Grand Fleet towards it's center.

Cynthia gave a small smile as Acantha used her strings to pull William in order to give her more pressure. However it didn't last long as the great beast noticed the cause of his slowness and whipped where Acantha was. Along with that her feet were immobilised from the rotten tentacles from William. There wasn't a lot of time for Cynthia to be able to block or avoid the next attack, but she was sure she would be able to due to the many strings helping her.

Ducking down, Cynthia moved her twin swords so that they would slice off the tentacles that were preventing her from moving. Her trust in Acantha was great as she hoped that they would snap onto the Fleshrender and at the very least slow it down. But if that didn't happen, then Cynthia was unsure if her soul armour would be able to take on the sword that was coming right her way.

@Petroshka @Destructus Kloud

As the tentcles came to smash her cover Acantha simply used her strings to pull her into the next bit of cover. All the while strings across the demon's body strung into action attempting to slow him down even more, a few were attempting to dig into the demons body to gain access to the joints. With most simply trying to prevent all possible movement (and failing miserably) Acantha felt a few of her strings on the demon's blade start to snap and pulled strings away.

@Cheryl @Destructus Kloud (Sorry if my turns are a bit wonky, i just got out of muh job and its 2 in the morning here qq)

"Enough of this!" William roared loudly. He dropped his sword, only to catch it again with a third arm that he had grown. Unrestricted by the strings, he landed a heavy blow on the immortal with two swords, which was blocked, but it still sent her flying back. He then leaped over to the strong immortal, crushing the cover underfoot, "You are an annoying spider, one that I will now crush." He threatened, raising the sword with all three hands as it grew bigger, seemingly supplied from his own body. Even if this strong immortal tried to dodge, he had his tails to slash her, all three now tipped with sharp bone.

@Cheryl @Petroshka

"Be careful around spiders, they have many tricks" Acantha said smiling up at her opponent. The strings stopped trying to slow him down and went on full attack trying to rip at him, but Acantha knew this would do very little. The ship floor around Acantha sliced open making her fall down and thus escaping the demons sword. Acantha landed on her feet and started running to where Cynthia would be above her her strings already starting workfor her plans phases.

@Destructus Kloud @CherylP

William snarled as his three tails pierced the floor, repeatedly stabbing where the immortal was. He grew a fourth arm and another Flesh Render came forth. Holding each sword in two hands, he cut a hole in the floor and fell through, confronting the immortal.

@Cheryl @Petroshka

Nanautzin began feeling a sort of thrill chasing the boy down. When the corrupted immortal saw the boy making yet another of the spiky spheres he couldn't help but feel a bit disappointed at the boy's tactics. If this had been the old cautious Nanautzin he may have began wondering why the boy would use the same attack after they both knew it would be a simple matter for Nanautzin to cut the sphere in half and continue crippling the young immortal. However Nanautzin had been driven just a little insane by the voice of the demon within him, calling for him to attack, destroy, consume without restraint. It was all he could hear at this point. So when Nanautzin cut the sphere in half once again the last thing he expected was the spikes to elongate and strike him anyway. Nanautzin had taken an arm, but this child had damaged all four of his appendages. Now most of his energy would have to go to quelling the foreign virus. Becoming quite fed up with this little upstart Nanautzin thrust his hand forward and three tentacles launched from his forearm with spiked ends that would pierce his target and drag him in.

The remnants of the spiky sphere were cut away with his blade and the spikes that stuck him were covered in his membrane for assimilation.

Gabriel looked up at the warrior,grinning slyly in approval. The insane look in the near demon's eyes proved what the Officer knew the very first moment her eyes landed on him. She knew that madness lurking right beneath the warrior's surface,  sheer amount of power his still mortal body contained and the obvious battle experience of his can't be blindly ignored. That man mustn't live to become a demon, the Officer concluded as he tightly grabbed her leg, making her grit her teeth from the force of his grab.

 Her leg started to hurt even more unbearably as the liquid metal from the warrior's hand dripped onto it, Forfax chuckling from pain and gritting her teeth once again. She lent her back against the wall, looking down as the alloy started consuming her tissue. The Officer could rip off her leg before it moved to the abdomen, before it was too late, but she didn't want to give the older man the idea of simply cutting his arm off. Gabriel desperately wanted to get out of there alive so she could avenge her Captain in its time, but at the same time, if she couldn't deal with an opponent in front of her she might as well join Salegg at this point.

The thought of using the syringe crossed her mind, and her hand ached to take it from the inner pocket of her uniform, but she stopped as what the warrior said made her shortly laugh trough pain, looking at him. "It seems as if you're underestimating my loyalty, as a soldier I'm ready to die. Only question here is, are you?" So he doesn't want to die? Shame for him...  This time, she'll return victorious or she won't be returning ashamed at all.

"Listen girl. My loyalty is to myself and if I die there is no point to everything I have been fighting for. To everything I have been killing and consuming others for. I carry the weight of thousands of lives I snuffed out before their time and it wouldn't be right of me to die a pathetic death. Now I can rip this arm off and grow it back with some time. I don't think you can fight very well on one leg. So unless you have some kind of ace in the hole, I say it would be a good idea if we both part ways here and live to fight another day. I didn't survive this long on stupidity...despite how I act and look. Battle crazy, blood thirsty, and reckless sure. But not idiotic." He said to the soldier, the madness leaving his eyes and only to be replaced with survival. A very dangerous glint shone off of those scarlet irises. He was not planning on dying there. Now this did not make him weak by any means. This is where the core of his strength came from. Where all of his drive came from and what won him so many battles. The will to survive. If the fight were to continue, then it really would be to death.

As the stone continued to make its way up his limb, Fellos grit his teeth against the encroaching pain it brought. Not the worst he had experienced but still it was pretty damn bad. "So now you tell me. How far are you willing to go for your pride soldier?" He addressed her with some measure of respect now. After all, she had definitely earned that at least.

The strings were definitely useful as Cynthia managed to easily avoid the flesh melting sword, not that she knew that yet. She would've become nauseous while watching a third and fourth arm grow from the Demon, but with the Aether suppressing her emotions and her determination to protect the Grand Fleet, Cynthia was feeling nothing but pure hatred and strength. She herself knew that the Aether was affecting her emotions as slowly she laughed less and less, but it didn't matter. As long as she can help protect the innocent she will do whatever to defend them.

Cynthia would've gone straight for William to carry on her assault, but after Acantha disappeared under the deck and dashed her way over here Cynthia decided to take this moment to quickly check a device that would let her see if there were any other Demons loose. Confirming her worry there were definitely Demons and Immortals running around inside the Grand Fleet. However as she quickly inspected the dots further the enemies were fighting each other, so for now Cynthia decided she would stay to try to defeat this horrifying beast.

She felt the metal beneath her cut and fall down, bringing Cynthia with it. She did a quick roll to lessen the impact and straightened her head as she watched the Demon come dashing towards them. For now Cynthia would wait for it to make the first move this time instead of making a rash decision like last time.

@Destructus Kloud @Petroshka

As Cynthia fell down infront of Acantha she turned around to face the demon, strings upon strings between the three. "Enjoying yourself?" She asked Cynthia. She was definitely no match for this demon but she had a backup plan for when it mattered. Plus its two versus one, she doubted she needed it, although this battle will most definitely hinge on Cynthia's capabilities on landing the lucky blow. All Acantha can do is support her and keep the demons attention on being annoyed by strings. I wonder how gabe and theon are fairing..

A wall of whiteness, strings... William grinned, he supposed that they supposed he was an idiotic hulking brute that relied on strength alone. 'Tis merely an advantage. He ran at them, his feet bending the metal floor beneath, his grin wide and his eyes now revealing the cunning intelligence and malice that he still retained from before. As he reached the wall, the Flesh Demon seemed to explode outwards, but the almost dust-like red particles seemed to hold a purpose. They filtered through and around the strings and reassembled behind them, but not in massive form he was just in. Back to his thin, slender self, he bared his chest and let loose a massive body of large muscle and flesh that barrelled towards the two, a mass of tentacles all gripping together to form one big one. It would collide with the first immortal and pierce through her, then wrapping it's then bloody grip around the armoured one and throwing it through the window to the side, into the vacuum of space. It was a shame he had needed to end his new body's form for he enjoyed the power it gave him, but it was necessary for this particular tactic: he couldn't transport in that form it seemed, not like that. Even still, he was sure this plan would work well enough, and if not? Then he would retreat for now.

@Cheryl @Petroshka

"Damnit" Theon cursed as the viral creatures ventured deeper and deeper into the Fleet, making it difficult for Theon to keep up, this was very inconvenient for his plans. "I can't just keep following them, we need a real plan. How are the others doing..?" Theon holstered his pistol and examined the current state of the battle. The Captain and Gabriel appeared to be holding their own against some powerful demons, but what about the Immortals? There was a large concentration of them, but they weren't attacking yet. Wait, no, there was one who seemed to be attacking the ships, he needed to talk to the team about this.

He held his hand up to the earpiece and began speaking to the rest of the security personnel. "Acantha, there's an Immortal trying to break into the fleet, most likely preparing a route for the others. Captain is using her armoured form now, she can hold off the demon, we're gonna need you to try and stop the Immortals. The Captain must be too busy in battle to give orders, but i'm still here following the two threats within the fleet, so trust me on this. If you need backup, I can potentially leave this position to aid you."

Nytarr Malesh

The Virus Immortal

Nytarr was glad the strategy worked. He knew that a Demon might be more animalistic than a Immortal, but he still thought that the enemy would at most be briefly hindered by the attack. Its effectiveness was only for its advantage. His Virus was of the kind that simply attempted to be the greatest of the annoyances while it lasted bringing pain to the infected area while consuming the enemy to multiply. While it may be unique in its own way, against someone such as Nanautzin, the virus would surely not last too long. At least, it took some of the focus away from the Demon.

Nytarr focused his energy on pushing the viral energy on his arm, which was successful. What he wasn't successful at, was on dodging the incoming tentacles. While he was far enough to not get the tentacles onto his face or even torso, two of them fiercely pierced and latched into his legs, one into each. The last one was pierced by a number of spikes... but the immortal definitely couldn't escape as it was, even considering he had been able to contain the damage on his shoulder.

It was clear that the Virus Immortal was struggling in between keeping enough energy to flee and holding back the foreign viral energy. Usually he'd have a plan for about anything in a fight. The problem with this one is that he was not expecting to have a third battle in a row with so little rest. Had he rested, no doubt he'd be able to split his energy between running and slowing the enemy down. This was even something he considered himself proficient at... but this time... there was little way out. He doubted he could outlast the enemy or that the enemy could be reasoned with.

@SleepyBuddha

Acantha watched as the demon transformed itself into a writhing mass of tentacles, not with horror but with curiosity. She was sure that he would try to power his way through but instead he tried to slither his way around. Maybe he was growing intelligence? Or was he always intelligent just not using his mind? When Cynthia was thrown out the window was when Acantha broke out of her thinking trance. "clever, but Strings are now in you." The strings that now surround him started to move in a cylindrical form. Slicing and tumbling him around, perhaps she can form an airtight seal and crush him? Acantha used strings to further her distance from the demon as he was trapped in the ball of string. Maybe he could have broken out, if he did she would throw him out the window like he did with Cynthia. The string ball started to shrink, the crushing had begun.

@Cheryl

@Destructus Kloud

William tittered away to himself as he was crushed inside the ball, so they felt like they had to contain him rather than actually fight? Very amusing. From the outside, the ball squeezed and squeezed until it was very small. And then it began to turn red. The blood of the demon began racing through the strings placed around the room and moved towards the string immortal with clear intent. The ball had stopped shrinking and there seemed to be resistance as something strained from within. It was only a matter of time before William broke out, but the immortal would have to deal with his blood reaching her first, for he knew that his own blood was very corrosive should he want it to be. In her efforts to evade it, he would be allowed enough time to break these bonds that now held him and make his escape. And the other immortal was now amongst the vacuum of space and would have to endeavour  with difficulty to return, causing him no problems. But by no means did that mean he was retreating; he would make his escape deeper into the fleet. After all, there were more souls of the mortals to be consumed.

@Petroshka @Cheryl

Acantha eyed the blood as it dripped on the floor, steaming.. ich.. Then she noticed the blood making their way through the strings. "huh." Maybe he was trying to melt her? No matter. she positioned the shrinking sphere of string next to the window, then she severed the strings connecting the ball to her with one last command of strink, and then the sphere was flung far out into space. Acantha then jumped out the window herself to look for Cynthia. "Theon, Acantha here, the demon has been taken care of. I think, Cynthia was thrown out into space and is MIA what about you?" After a while of looking around she went back in and ran toward the postition Theon told her eariler to go.

@Cheryl @Destructus Kloud @Rurnur

Drip, drip, drip... The blood had made small sizzling holes through the floor as the remaining blood dripped into the ship's mechanical works below. The thing the immortal had flung into space had indeed been William, but it was not his main body. He had suspected the immortal would act as she had, and annoyingly enough as it was, it hadn't been the first time she'd been a thorn in his side. Regardless, he had allowed his soul to leak away with his blood into the lower levels of the security ship, suppressing its existence of course. He had noticed the string immortal had been doing that before and he's realised just how she manage it. Leaving a human's worth of soul in the ball, he had made it look as if he was still there. The plan was risky all in itself, but it had paid off and he had evaded detection. By now their command would assume he was far into deep space, still hurtling away. And indeed would that be a problem as he hadn't much in the way of gravitational propulsion or thrust. But despite that he now reformed, first his blood gathering his soul into the white crystal stone that was his soul, then growing layers upon layers of his strongest and most dense bone defences, encasing it. It was his ultimate defense against immortals and otherwise, his impenetrable shield that coated his heart and soul, thickening into an absolute barrier. Although it was small, it held more durability than any armour he had this created. He called it his 'Heart Carapace', the last resort to protect himself. Of course he had this at all times in case of a sneak attack or an unexpected attack in battle. It hadn't been tested, but William assumed landing a planet on it would do the trick, but he wasn't sure exactly as to its strength precisely. Despite that, it was still his strongest bone-armour that he prided himself with. His main skeleton had grown now and his flesh formed, skin quickly budding and spreading from it. Unfortunately, he was no unclothed. A bone armour-piece grew as a temporary cover but his mouth still turned down in a dissatisfied curl as he continued to suppress his existence and made his way through the bowels if the ship. He needed to go further. And he needed to find some clothes.
