Grand Fleet

When Morgan feels the Immortal come lurking closer and closer just like the virus energy and his soul. Just before the virus energy would crack his soul his body would seem to crack with red marked appearing all over. Then his body exploded producing an explosion that would at most incapacitate anyone caught near the epicenter. It was more on the normal side not even a nuclear explosion. He blasted towards his sword which was now drifting off till he retrieved it, just as he did the replacement Outer Rim ship arrived sealingnthe breach in the force field and likely trapping the virus Immortal outside if he was blown outside of the force field. The aether is Morgan's soul leaked out as the suicide bomb had destroyed his soul in the process. Morgan is now dead.

Time seemed to slow down significantly  as the crimson man tugged Gabriel's uniform with even more force, muscles of his hand flexing before she was pushed into the air by his arm, only to be slammed against the the ragged metal wall. In that small moment, as her back made contact with the wall and force of impact made her drop her scythe, Officer noticed her enemy's annoyed expression, making the young soldier grin slightly in accomplishment. The move was so forceful that it made her head bob and hit the metal twice, making her hair damp from blood and air kicked out of her lungs with metal shards causing her to bleed from her back. Lucky coincidence for her, she doesn't need to breath. Disoriented for a couple of seconds, Officer kicked in the general direction of the warrior, extending the tip of her boot into a stone spike as she wildly swung her leg, determined to get out of such powerless situation.

Gabriel grabbed the ankle of the hand that held her uniform, tightening the hold of it and making the bones crack slightly right before steel protected the area. Simple hand crunching wasn't what she was striking for, though, and she additionally grabbed the warrior's large arm with her other hand, kicking his protected abdomen with little to no damage just for the sake of it. By only touching the crimson man's hand the Officer was able to turn the skin of it irreversibly into stone, and the effect slowly spread across the entirety of the warrior's hand as long as she held it, making him unable to use his fingers. Inspired by the ancient stories coming from Earth, the ability had short term advantages when it came to Immortals and Demons, as they were capable of recreating their limbs. It goes without saying that the mortal in front of her won't have as much fun as Forfax was having while looking at him in the eyes, amused by the still annoyed expression his features made. She ignored the tinges of pain breaking trough her spine and skull as she still held his ankle tightly, stone consuming the flesh just like in the legend of Medusa.

@shadowz1995

William's ears pricked and his head snapped around. Somewhere, an immortal had just died. Breaking away from his current opponents, he rushed way towards the scent. Eventually he found it, the dead remains of that explosive immortal that had managed to take out most of his body. He grinned and laughed aloud as he saw the aether that was leaking away. A worthy meal. He took the body and rushed off to hide amongst the ship debris. He then began consuming the aether as it came out, it was delicious, having that sharp blend of a fruity cocktail. When he had finished off the soul, he began taking parts from the body itself, eating it as well. He would waste nothing of a worthy opponent, he would wear his soul, and he would die twice; against William and for him. The flesh was just for sustenance.

@Raikou Kaminari (seeing as your guy had died, I hope you don't mind. He will live on through me! :D )

Malesh Nytarr

The Virus Immortal

Malesh was about to shoot his 'spear' at the enemy when the enemy seemed to explode. The Virus Immortal thought that many things could have happened, but none of them included the enemy's self-destruction. He was pushed deeper into the Great Fleet, and now, he was trapped inside. It was good that he didn't just try to rush through. He had a feeling that the sbenny might just have exploded when he was closer... and that such event might even put a crack on his soul.

Malesh was still alive at least. He was low on energy, but alive. There was another ship in place of the one that was just destroyed which meant that they probably had endless ships. Some knowledge is better than none at least. He kept his energy within to recover it as quickly as he could while scanning his surroundings. Just how far was I blown off?

Nanautzin meditated within the vents of the grand fleet working on the DNA of his virus. His situation, while bad also presented him with a unique opportunity. With the virus he uses now it would take days to cleanse his soul of the chemical energy that has invaded his body, but now that he had the opportunity to change the composition of his virus he could keep changing it until his virus is able to break down and assimilate the energy.

After a while Nanautzin had found the best DNA sequence for fighting against Theon's chemicals. The ancient immortal smiles as he felt the chemicals being corrupted and assimilated within in. Now that he was back in business he could keep pushing forward. Still within the vents Nanautzin moved as far as he could until the vents ran out of passage ways. As he climbed out of the vents there was an oddly familiar energy. It seemed like his viral energy, but different.... this must be investigated.

The Virus Immortal

Suddenly, Malesh noticed an energy somewhat similar to his own... but it also felt wrong. A Demon... he was almost sure. He thought of how weak he was currently. I should still be able to give a fight... but for a Demon to appear here. Maybe I can still reason with them. He straightened himself before looking the Demon's way as he focused his energy to shield his soul.

"Demon," He directed his words towards the Demon, he couldn't expect for it to not have noticed him if he was able to notice them, "May we avoid a fight? If you are also in here, I assume you wish to grow and damage the Great Fleet." Better to talk than waste energy trying to disengage needlessly.

@SleepyBuddha

After resting a short while, the viral energy had slowly stopped damaging Theon's soul, and started getting flushed out of his system, allowing his soul to begin fully repairing itself. While following Nanautzin, he had detected a large disturbance in the energy levels outside the ship, after analysing the movement of energies, he realised what must have happened. One of the Artificials has been killed off, and possibly been eaten by a demon. Theon knelt down and spoke into his headset. "Acantha? Gabriel? Are you two alright? I'm ready to provide backup, just let me know." He uttered worriedly, hoping to himself that it wasn't a member of his old team that had been killed.

@Gabriel Forfax@Petroshka@Cheryl

Cynthia had already dashed off to the explosion to where she believed it to be, looking from side to side with her silvery hair flowing behind her. There were many fights she knew were happening around her, with fellow Artificial Immortals fighting off Demons and Immortals. She knew very well that she could jump into any fight and defeat the enemy but the newest soldiers needed to prove themselves. If they couldn't fight off an Immortal then they didn't deserve to protect the Grand Fleet, they were too weak. This infiltration would allow Cynthia to see the strength of her newest recruits.

Jumping off of some of the debris from the mysterious explosion, the captain silently landed behind a small barricade of what was left and surveyed the surrounding area. Black powder streaked outwards away from the source of the explosion with small spatters of blood that had started to dry. Cynthia's blue eyes darted to the middle of it all, and spied a Demon seemingly gorging on the wisps of Aether floating away from what looked to be a pile of flesh. Already she knew that this monster had to die or be gone from the ship, as this safe haven was no place for such a disgusting beast.

While the Demon was feasting on the pieces of flesh Cynthia started to coat her weapon in green goop and hardened it, making the sword and shield stronger than before. For now she would observe the creature, but she knew that she would have to attack soon while it was distracted with the dead human. Slowly she crept up behind the Demon, murky green shield raised in case it would lash out. While she approached the Demon, her gleaming sword raised in order to get the first strike. Then her sword arm whipped down, aiming at the shoulder.

@Destructus Kloud

Mmh... There... Yes... He could feel the power flowing through him, he could feel the processed aether in his veins. It was by no means the perfect meal, but oh gods was it filling! This immortal must have had a planet's worth of human souls in it. William flexed his hand, a sinister smile slowly spreading ecstatically across his face.

But he was interrupted by something that appeared to want him in two pieces. It wouldn't have been the first time... He thought sarcastically. His skin, flesh and bones parted at the point just before where the blade would cut him, allowing it to pass through his body without a scratch as it stitched itself back together, undamaged. The Flesh Demon sighed and straightened up, standing on his piece of floating debris. He regarded the female with a bow, although it was more exaggerated and satirical than usual, "It is my pleasure to make your acquaintance, I am William Rundell Haus Code, otherwise known as the Gentlemen." He forced a smile as he covered one eye, "It seems you wish to have me dead, immortal. You then won't argue if I return the favour, surely?" His grin turned more genuine as his body took on a dark red glow. A black and rouge smoke seemed to slowly rise off him and he emanated a powerful pulsing aura that felt like a great weight or pressure. Soon his form was enveloped in a fiery blaze of black and red as his white gaze penetrated the nearby immortal. It growled in a terribly deep tone, "Nightmare Mantle... Summon...

64b-diablo.jpg

And summon it did, standing 10 feet tall, the slender frame of the young man of a demon was replaced by a towering mountain, bone-formed armour covering his body and horns growing from his head. Two large wings unfurled from his back and spread majestically. The demon had evolved, gaining it's new form. The Nightmare Mantle, a tanky armoured body that possess incredible physical strength and speed, it's regeneration is not hindered. Blood began to seep out of its right arm as a long bone slid out from the palm. It flattened and became a long and large blade, the blood running across it in places and hardening, mainly around the hilt and handle. The demon growled again in its deep voice, "Flesh Render. Summon." The sword finished forming and he swung it to the side, flicking a few remaining vestiges of blood from it. William gazed down at the immortal with a look of bored contempt. Food had come to present itself before him. And food was what he wanted right now. And he would have what he wanted. Raising the sword, William brought it down on the female opposite him with a fast and deadly arc, smashing the debris she was standing on regardless of whether she had been hit or not. Now, there would be no more hindrances.

"And here i was enjoying my temporary hiatus." Acantha groaned into her headset. She moved her body testing out her limbs for any remaining damage or potential hindrance during her brief rest. "I was, uh knocked out of the fight during a battle with a non-Nana virus immortal." Now stretching the stress out of her body dude to inactivity she looked around, it seemed like she was still somewhat near where she was knocked out. "I was heavily wounded but i think im alright."

@Rurnur

Theon began running through the halls, moving around the Demon's energy, eventually detecting an Immortal as well, deciding to stay behind, keeping track of them. Outside the fleet, he could tell there was one immensely powerful demon, going up against one artificial. "I've got a demon and Immortal inside the Fleet, i'm following them right now. Acantha, go to where the Demon who just ate an Artificial is, someone's trying to take them on, and they'll need your help. Got it?" Hopefully, these two would take eachother out, giving Theon a chance to eliminate them both.

@Cheryl@Petroshka@Gabriel Forfax

"Roger that." Acantha then started to move on to where the fight between the two is. Hopefully she would play a supporting role and hopefully this demon wouldnt be too powerful. As soon as she got there she was just in time to see the transformation. "Oh boy." She put her hands and rubbed her forehead. This is going to be harder than i thought. She took a look at her surroundings. Perfect, i'll just up traps here, there and over that.. Acantha eyed the Demon some more, he pulled out some kind of sword Acantha could make out. "someones into the dramatics." She layered the area the demon was in with strings ready to act when the demon moves. She however will remain hidden,  and help out Cynthia, or at least try.

@Cheryl @Destructus Kloud

Nanautzin tilted his head as the immortal addressed him as a demon. " This may be hard to believe but I am no demon yet, but.... your energy seems interesting." Nanautzin allowed his viral energy to flare up and his viral membrane formed in his hands. Holding his hands out Nanautzin showed his membrane built upon itself and connected the gap between his hands with a hollow column of membrane. " Our energies seem to be very similar. What is yours?" Nanautzin asked almost hungrily as he crushed the membrane between his hands.

As he watched the boy the ancient immortal was debating whether or not he should attack him. After all just one immortal was all he would need to send him over the edge and he would finally be rid of the maddening voice in his head.

"It is believable.Very hard to believe, but believable. "Yours as well... It is rather similar to mine. Though, I wonder if it had more similarities before." He extended a hand with his palm up, and a dull dark gray fist-sized sphere covered by tiny spikes was formed inches above it. At the same time, his energy flared slightly, or at least, he stopped containing it. The sphere didn't disappear and remained floating over his hand before he said, "In other times, I would ask for a spar, but as it is. It isn't too wise, to remain together.

The moment Cynthia saw the flesh dodge her sword she leaped backwards so there would be space between her and the Demon who called himself the 'Gentleman'. She knew she was too hasty, she should've called for some help before even thinking of taking on such a thing. She glared at the Demon before jumping to the side, away from the bone sword that had just smashed the debris she was standing on. To protect herself from the flying metal, Cynthia raised her shield to block the piercing metal. They bounced off of the hardened shield, making a noticeable dent; but Cynthia quickly repaired it with more slime.

Cynthia spotted Acantha setting up string around the room to hinder the movement of William. To help make the environment be in their favor, she started to cover the ground with translucent slime in order to make a circle of sticky goop around the Demon's feet. While she did this, she started to move backwards so that she was on the opposite side of the room from Acantha. Hopefully this would make the Demon turn his back to one of them and let the other make a move of some sort, or perhaps he had already seen Acantha setting up the traps around him.

@Destructus Kloud @Petroshka

The Flesh Demon had no time for tactics, no time for sneaky manoeuvres. All there was time for was killing. He roared aloud in a beastly fashion and charged at the immortal he had first seen. He swung his large sword this way and that, sending chunks of metal from the floor in all directions. When he had reached the woman, he swung his sword again, faster, more powerfully this time. Should he miss, he would use his wings to launch himself after her with great speed for his size, sword aiming to chop her in half. William had become less gentleman-like and more of a brutish monster in a very ironic turn of events. His eyes glowed red and his muscles flexed with every movement. His feet made slight dents in the metallic floor that was now all mashed up and he walked through the strings like they weren't there, to the point where he didn't even notice them. The slime would have presented a problem, but his feet actually featured loads of tiny inward-facing curved spikes of bone that were strong enough to grip to the floor. This was also on top of the fact that his wings stabilised him were he to slip anyway. He still had yet to notice the second immortal, but he could definitely feel a familiar presence nearby. Unfortunately he was too focused on the one in front of him to pinpoint them, as well as the fact that he was still getting used to this new powerful body he had made for himself.

@Cheryl @Petroshka

Acantha used her strings to gradually slow down the demons movements, just enough to keep him from potentially striking Cynthia but not enough to warrant him to make her a primary target. She summerized that she will take action when she decides Cynthia could no longer fight. Or at least when the demon attacks her. For now she will analyze their opponent, and plan for the best course of action. Nodding toward Cynthia as she noticed her, Acantha closed her eyes and and focused on her strings. Using them like a echolocating ping except a much faster response.

@Cheryl

@Destructus Kloud

As soon as the 'Gentleman' started to become a little less gentle, Cynthia changed into her Soul Armour form. Silver and gold armour sparkling as she weaved between the piles of rubble as she avoided the first attack, Cynthia took out her newest sword as she had no need for the shield now. The armour was as tough as, if not tougher, than the shield when it was coated. She was still the same height as before, giving her an advantage in speed. However as soon as she was hit by the out of control monster she would be in serious trouble.

When William launched himself towards her, using his skeletal wings to quickly change direction, Cynthia was caught off guard as she didn't expect him to be able to move that quickly considering his size. As he flew towards her, crimson eyes making Cynthia slightly stiffer from a hint of fear, she had not a lot of time to react. The captain hoped that her twin swords would be able to parry the heavy sword that was aiming right at her torso. She felt immediate pressure on the swords as she struggled to hold the parry against such a strong Demon. Her body posture changed as she prepared to break off and flee once she decided her swords wouldn't be able to hold any more pressure.

@Petroshka @Destructus Kloud

Acantha used her strings to pull William back slightly, relieving Cynthia of most of the pressure, using the environment to take on the stress. perhaps o should keep a tighter leash on him. the strings all around William sightly came to life trying pulling him back but just enough not to snap if he tried. As she was analyzing the demon Acantha noted that he was working mostly off instinct, and attacking with sheer brute strength, like Nanautzin. perhaps all demons work off instinct the stronger they get? Invisible strings went around Cynthia ready to increase her movements and strengths via pulling and protecting her from small debris.

@Cheryl @Destructus Kloud

Nanautzin smiled as the crushed membrane grew and formed gauntlets over his hands, " I agree. So I must ask you to hold still and allow me to assimilate your energy into mine." As Nanautzin said that the membrane crawled across his flesh making a thick outer shell. Then his katana on his side.  His armor seemed quite different from its previous set. It was a lot thicker, but didn't forsake mobility.

Drawing out his katana Nanautzin made his intentions quite clear. He would consume this child and finally stop the voice within his mind.

The Virus Immortal

"I'm sorry to say that," He raised his arms slightly, two fingers raised in each hand, "But I quite prefer to remain away from you." The small sphere began floating just in front of him. He quickly lower his arms, pointing them towards the Demon. At that moment, two small flurries of toothpick-long spikes were quickly sent towards the Demon. Not a second later, the Immortal began retreating at his highest speed while still looking at the Demon. He hoped that by going deeper into the great fleet he might attract the attention of some of the local Artifical Immortals. Even if they might hate the Immortals from outside the Great fleet, they all certainly exist to destroy Demons.

@SleepyBuddha

Theon held both hands on his gun, watching the energies dance all around him, trying to plan a battle strategy with the utmost concentration. Suddenly, his targets began to move, causing Theon to begin running after their energy signals. The nearby Demon and Immortal had started to fight, and he could simply let them eliminate eachother. But, on the other hand, the longer he gave them to fight, the more powerful both of them would become, therefore, it might even be a better idea to make the fight a free-for-all. But of course, that would run the risk of both enemies focusing their attention on him, and killing him immediately. He decided he wouldn't risk that, he would wait and see the results of the fight. Meanwhile, the captain seemed to be holding her own against the powerful demon, with Acantha supporting her. It was an akward position for Theon, he hated sitting by and doing nothing, but he couldn't move away from these targets, the most dangerous right now, as they are currently the ones deepest inside the Fleet.

 Eyes narrowing, Alvis finally breathed as the tentacles and warm breath abandoned her.  The air immortal almost spat as the lingering taste of Demon breath still resided in her mouth. But still the demon was gone, and she had other matters to attend to, as to answer many questions. The three lights that aided her from actually from attempting to mar her opponent, there was a source, and her eyes scoured the surrounding rubble that drifted aimlessly, searching for an immortal, a demon, a weapon. Her gaze caught onto a strange figure at the edge of the wreckage.

Surveying the surround wreckage beforehand to check for any sights of the demon, Alvis approached the figure that seemly assisted her.

"Pardon me stranger, but was it you who happened to assist in the Demon's.. departure?" Alvis spoke softly, her guard up. For all she knew, this figure could also be a threat to her. And her very existence.

Narrowing her eyes, the Air Immortal searched for any signs that could lead to him being a Demon. But for all she could sense, there was no darkness tainting his soul. Hopefully her senses were correct, and Alvis could stay peaceful.

Chance watched as the demon grew a large tentacle that rushed towards him. Chance took a hand out of his pocket and was prepared to summon his sword, but the demon left without any explanation. He only watched as the demon rushed away, since his goal was to save the other immortal and not to fight the demon, he decided not to pursue. The immortal then approached him, he regarded her question for a moment and placed his other hand back into his pocket. "Yes, it was me who helped you" Chance took note of how soft spoken she was being, he also noticed that she seemed cautious. He gave a light smile and held out a hand "The names Chance, and you dont need to worry, im here to help" While he was talking to her he was trying to come up with an idea of what should be done next. He needs some kind of battle plan.

The strange immortal didn't appear to be of any threat, yet Alvis's caution did not hinder. This war she had burdened herself with was not light. A hand hovered in front of her, as if awaiting for her own to greet it. A strange custom indeed but if it was what he abided by, Alvis knew of it to bring no harm. A blink, then a slow out stretch of her own hand, before it tenderly shook the other immortal's hand.

"A pleasure to meet your aquaintance." Alvis greeted in turn. Pulling her hand away gently before continuing. "But might I inquire, what lead you to interfere with this fight?"

The Air Immortal studied the stranger through guarded eyes, both hands held firm on her staff.
