Grand Fleet

William frowned at the fake. It seemed he wanted a space battle, but that wasn't exactly the flesh demon's forte. Long range wasn't either. He sighed and cut one of his fingers off, throwing it behind himself carelessly. Turning his attention back to the fake, he sent two tentacles into the ship to anchor himself, and continued the barraged of fleshy tendrils, having them follow the guy around. There was at least 20 now, all coming from different directions as they attempted to stab and wrap around the immortal man. Sooner or later, this explosive specimen would not be able to resist and keep up, eventually tiring. And by that point it would be game over. Thankfully, Williams body did not tire, nor break. He was  good for a war of attrition, sure, but should he not eat for prolonged periods of time, his body would weaken. He would either have to eat this immortal quickly or find some more humans.

@Raikou Kaminari (at this rate idk if ur explosions can hold me off long enough for me to weaken tho. I did just eat like a crew of people and then a control room full of people. Time to bust out that plan of yours. :3)

When Morgan believed himself far enough and the tentacles too many he said "Time to stop holding back." He unleash an omnidirectional explosion wave but not just any usual explosion this one produce a light similar mto that of a sun. He used a nuclear explosion which would reduce the tentacles and maybe the demon if he was close enough to vapor. Just looking at it from such distance could flashburn out an individuals eyes. But that wasn't the real attack which the Flesh Demon will figure out soon enough after a few more such explosions and times using his powers.

The explosion rattled Acantha her strings taking the heat and most of the impact, she was left relatively unscathed but she could feel the burning sensation of the gas bore deeper into her, she looked at her skin and was met with a familar sight. this looks like, Theon, when he was infected by.. Acantha's smile grew upon the realization "Nanautzin!" Archene's abilities aren't gas! they were virus! Although how can two immortals exist with the same ability was beyond her but during her boring time in the grand fleet's ship she had researched a viable way to counter act Nanautzin's virus, and she found a theory but a theory was better than nothing. she put her arms close to her chest with strings all around her, she pulled on them trying to get them to vibrate at a frequency of 60 gigahertz. The vibrations killing the potentially lethal virus, after she was certain that the virus was eradicated she looked at her surroundings, debris everywhere, she caught one with her string and pulled herself to it. now where is our little virus immortal?

 @Archene

William's eyebrows raised considerably as his anchor tentacles immediately pulled him back, but not fast enough. His body was vaporised, leaving no trace...

Except the one finger he had left behind, still floating within the half-destroyed ship. He had moved his soul crystal into it, using his body as a ploy. As if he would just throw himself anywhere near someone who created explosions from nothing. The finger instantly began regenerating the body. A minute later it was as good as new. But now he found himself in a weird place, away from his previous battle. A hanger of some sorts with a musky scent filling the air. It smelt... Rotten. He looked around and spotted two people fighting. Curious, he waltzed over and stood between them, completely interrupting the fight, "Hello there! Excuse my intrusion, but are you two immortals fighting each other?" He only asked because he still had doubts as to why an immortal would attack their brethren, and still not grasping the difference between an artificial and a real immortal. He could feel the noxious gas flow through his body, but that was fine. It would regenerate and it could t pierce the bone layer that protected his organs, or mainly his heart. So there was no fear of death, or at least there shouldn't be. He was still skeptically about the string lady, but he decided she was of little concern. Silly strings were hardly a fear-instilling weapon after all.

Alvis Bo

Clamor arose from the minacious ship, catching the Air immortal's attention. Already it seemed Immortals and Demons had condoned themselves to the mercy of the tenacious Grand Fleet. It seemed that some rescues were in order, as Alvis distanced herself from the Gravity Immortal. She herself had encased herself in air, as being trapped as a black hole did not entice her tastes. Her grazing eyes caught onto a small scuffle in a hanger. When nearing the hanger, Alvis recognized a battle much more than an insignificant scuffle, and both were almost evenly matched. Yet what appalled her the most, was the fact that it seemed to be two immortals in a conflict. For all the air immortal knew, all Immortals were opposed to the Grand Fleet, yet somehow it appeared to her that one had rejected their kin and aligned with the Immortal's enemy.

This was a tiny implication, as when she reached the battle, Alvis would have to deduct who was in fact, who.

Reaching the hanger proved to be an easy task, as most attention on the ship was focused on the small quarrels and the small army of Immortals facing it. But entering turned to be her greatest task. The latch to open the door was easy to find, but a way to open it without stealing the gravity and air and, simply, souls out of the immortals was a challenge. Scouring the side of the hanger took time from Alvis's side, but it did bring her with a way to safely enter, a gravity chamber. She could open the latch to it, enter the enclosed space, close the small door on the outside, then open the other on the inside. It may cause a slight discomfort to those on the inside as popping ears might occur, but Alvis was sure a little distress over ears could be handled.

A satisfying breeze of air brushed past her face as the inside door opened, pulling a slight smile on her face. At least the Grand Fleet knew how to keep insulated air on board. Sounds resounded just west of her. An intake of breath and and light step onto the cold unwelcoming floor, and Alvis was on her way. Suddenly a blast almost knocked her off her light stance. Where the hanger should have been up ahead was a hole in the side of the ship.

Entering the demolished hanger she almost chuckled at the chaos. Debris everywhere, and a strange boy in the center, his energy strangely dark. Out in the debris, another immortal seemed to be entangled in string. "A little late am I not." She sighed, her rush of adrenaline gone. The excitement seemed to be over anyways. But still the air immortal remained attentive.

(Just going to say that they felt the explosion but they aren't on the ship that exploded)

Nanautzin tilted his armored head at Theon as if he had a hard time understanding what he was exactly saying. The creature that he was all but surely to become just starred at Theon for a moment until the entire hanger was shook by the explosion of a nearby ship. This shaking spooked the purely instinct driven creature into attacking Theon instantly closing the distance between them and pinned him against the metal wall of the ship. In this panicked state allowed his rational mind to surface. The membrane around his face retracted and the near demonic Nanautzin stared at the man who in his mind caused his descent into madness.

"You dare.... to insinuate that I chose this path!? I WAS SUPRESSING THE DARKNESS FOR CENTURIES! THEN YOU CAN ALONG AND ROUSED IT!" Nanautzin shouted. As he shouted his energy ram p aged put of his control causing the membrane to propagate without his will and cover the area around them.

Nanautzin suddenly broke eye contact with Theon and began muttering to himself, his grip loosening as he seemed to be having a with another person. " No, no.... it's not time. Must keep this form a bit longer, I must make sure my children are safe."

Nanautzin's mind seemed... fractured as if he wasn't sure of what was going on anymore. During his week long hibernation the darkness within him had manifested itself in his dreams and showed him the power that he could gain if he just let himself go and become a full demon. In the dreams he made a deal with the darkness, knowing that nothing he did at this point could stop the change, that if the demon would swear to continue to protect and evolve the Parn he would give in.

Theon's eyes widened, stumbling slightly before speaking into the earpiece. "You're gonna what!? You can't just blow up part of the Fl-" and there it was, different systems all started to ignite, a chain reaction that would destroy the nearby ship in no time. "Are you really trying to defend the fleet, Morgan? We have to work as a team!" He shouted, frustrated at his comrade's recklessness. He had kept his eyes on Nanautzin, but the distraction provided by Morgan was enough to give the demon a chance to assault him, only giving Theon the time to fire off three rounds of chemical energy into his soul, with only two of them hitting the demon directly.

Suddenly, he was looking into the demon's eyes, gritting his teeth while he attempted to push back his opponent. It appeared that he was being blamed him for his unfortunate state, but there was nobody to blame but himself, it's the price people should pay for eating souls. "Demon.. what is it that you want? You came here to be exterminated like the pest you are? Then allow me to make it easy for you!" Theon growled and pushed his arms outward, knocking Nanautzin back with a blast of aether, before placing his hand on his blade. "Hold still, I'll be rid of that darkness for you." He unsheathed the blade with a single hand, and began slashing towards Nanautzin, sending waves of chemical energy at him, while simultaneously firing off rounds at his opponent's feet.

As Acantha reoriented herself her strings instant tied themselves to some debris straightening herself out. Just until she caught the sight of a familar demon, great i cant just get a break can i? She watched him approach and interestingly enough he wanted to talk more. "Us immortals are fighting it out for fame and fortune, obviously. Unfortunately im near the bottom of the char but i was fighting quite a high profile virus immortal. If you kill him you might go higher than him." She winked, unsure if the demon will believe her but either way if she could get the demons and immortals to ware themselves out she could come in for the final blow. And besides, she has a trump card.

She sensed another immortal coming to her, and frowned, more and more keep showing up. "That particular imortal over there" she pointed at the new immortal "is very high in the ranks think about what a tasty soul that would be." Acantha looked at the hole in the grand fleet's ship. Well they certainly did a number.

The Virus Immortal

The Virus Immortal had been blown off to quite far... it was good enough though. The burns were more physical damage than something that would destroy his soul. He was well enough. He was among some of the debris that was. There was even a demon and... that air immortal around. Hopefully she'd at least vaguely remember him. He could vaguely see her, considering what he found out about her abilities, that shielding certainly had a cap on how much strength it could hold. She did somehow destroy the virus within her... he could only shrug at this moment, She probably noticed by now then. At least, they had been able to put a hole in the great fleet. Though that wasn't the objective, fighting them head on wasn't the worst of the possibilities even fights ended this way.

There was no need for him to try to buy time in any way anymore.

Without saying much, the Virus Immortal made 3 rows of 3 palm long spikes. Each group of three was perfectly aligned before being sent  at the string immortal at bullet speed, a group after the other. On each group, each spike hopefully hitting the strings again and again and again, to overpower her shielding defenses. The same process done thrice with minor aim corrections just as a precaution, of course.

@Petroshka @Whale @Destructus Kloud

As the spikes flew Acantha was foo focused on her new conversation mates. The first three spikes were intercepted by her strings but due to the explosion many of her strings were either destroyed or heavily damaged. The second row of spikes all but grazed her one of them lounging itself into her arm. The third row didnt fair so well as Acantha was prepared for it but one spike managed to hit her other arm.

Catching Acantha off guard like this made her furious. Less so at him but more so at her self for being so.. Stupid! She retreated to a temporary cover of sorts just in case there were more spikes. She looked at her arms, and noticed, they didnt go through her arms, rather, they were meant to get stuck. She tried to yank ine out but to no preveal. She took another enhanced look at them. With past experience with Nanautzin these spikes were most likely carrying a virus of some kind...

Acantha attempted to flee leaving the demon to think about his options. She had other matters to attend to, first to remove this spike as she guessed no doubt contained and produced Virus's. She would probably have to cut it apart or use her strings to yank it out.. It would be painful and she didnt know if her arm will survive but it should heal back sometime soon and she can deal with the pain. Looking around once more this time much more alert, you wont catch me off guard this time. @Archene

The Virus Immortal

She... didn't notice me? The Virus Immortal was subtly surprised before hiding among the debris again, at least from the String Artificial. The few spikes that managed to get stuck onto Acantha, began to release virus energy into her. An acute pain growing in her arm as it began to spread inside her towards her torso. The Virus surely aimed to attack her soul to eventually crack it. He mostly ignored the Demon, hopefully it would either help him against the Artificial, or just attack the Air Immortal. He was glad for the presence of an ally around to avoid getting in a situation where he'd be in numerical disadvantage.

Her attempts to take cover were good enough, he thought that maybe she'd just stay hidden until she had taken off the spikes. As he noticed her taking a look around, he formed a spike as far from the edge of his piece of debris as he could, hopefully to make it look like he was behind another piece of debris before sending it to her as fast as the first ones. The aim wasn't as perfect as it could be, but just getting the enemy to spend energy defending would be considered a victory.

@Petroshka

"Well it worked I got one of the demons to withdraw from the battle, I didn't see anything that would suggest its dead so I assume it's still alive somewhere. There's going to be much more destruction we can at least choose whether it helps us or breaks us." Morgan replied over the comms. As he flew back inbound of the ship he destroyed he could still sense the demon but now another presence as well. They were within the destroyed ship or at least the chunk that still had a hangar. But instead he kept going he propelled himself a few miles closer to the Security Halls so he can watch from the outskirts of the battle and intercept someone trying to make a break for the Security Halls.

@Rurnur

A nice little exchange, thought the wolf man, as they traded the first blows. Had the fake reacted a second later, she would have been in two pieces right now and it would have been exactly what he was expecting. Disappointing. Fortunately for him that wasn't the case. She evaded the blow and prepared for the counter attack, which her scythe would have only been blown away by his follow up cut, along with an arm if she was fortunate. The girl got lucky because the ship was suddenly rocked by an explosion nearby that completely through the demon off center, causing his blade to veer off course and carve destruction into the metallic wall on his right. It left a horrible path of ruin in the structure that promised an even worse fate should the sword bite into flesh instead of metal.

The girl threw a kick to Fellos's left leg that would have been effective....if Fellos wasn't as tenacious as he was. The kick was swift and well placed but it lacked the required force to even make his leg buckle under the force of the blow. So the kick managed to move him back an inch but the only thing it drew from him was that inch and a raised eyebrow. "Little girl you have to hit me much harder than that if you want me to even move, much less hurt me." Crimson readied himself for the next exchange of blows. He was very fast despite his size but she was still faster due to her body type and size. She would likely be able to dance around him for some time until he finally caught her with a fatal blow. So the near-demon decided to go with trading strikes. He could easily take one of her attacks but she could not take one of his and make it out unscathed. A simultaneous exchange was in his best interest so the male swung his sword up and let it drape across his massive shoulders, deepening his stance and leaning on his knee with his off hand, taunting the scythe wielder. "Come on pretty. Your going to have to try much harder than that to impress me." He said with a cocky grin and a taunting gaze.

@Gabriel Forfax

William smiled and bowed to them, "I am William Rundell Haus Code, 1st Destroyer of the Cerculis planet within the Red Zone." He smile did not waver, his gentleman-like demeanour ever the same. But now a problem presented itself: who to kill first. He played eenie meenie minee moe for a moment before sighing, "Fine, I choose both, but one at a time." He then rushed towards the air immortal, bone claws stretching out to pierce her in the stomach.

Alvis Bo

Her wandering eyes caught sight of the female immortal once again, and her ears recognized speech. A horrendous taste aroused in her mouth at the appalling suggestion the girl made. For the Immortal, or Demon, next to her to swallow the other immortal's soul. Alvis gained an immediate distrust of both the Demon beside her, and most importantly, the Immortal in the Debris. Small winds started weaving around her, as a thin protective shield, and a sensory shield. If either or them were to try anything on her, the Air Immortal would detect it.  Eyes narrowed, Alvis shifted, keeping the Immortals in wide view, before a flash caught her eye. One by one they reached their target, and angered it  immensely. The strange girl looked around in frustration, which brought a small smile of amusement to Alvis's lips. Her humorous victory was quickly brought to an end by mutterings from the Demon.

Alvis remained attentive and listened, hoping this was rather an insignificant mutter.

"Fine, I choose both, but one at a time." The Demon reared toward her, a claw composed of bones primed to tear her. The Air Immortal frowned, it seemed the Demon was going to be no Ally. With a huff she pushed Air to the side of her, and levered herself out of harms way.

"Oh well, the hard way it is." She sighed. @Destructus Kloud

"Playing hard to get? My dear lady, I only wish to consume your soul." He grinned as he dashed after. William threw bone tipped tentacles at her and, should they miss, would use them as grapples instead to propel himself further after her, claws ready. His style of fighting was primitive, it was true, but he felt a certain thrill from unraveling from his normal elegant self. Even so, he planned to go easy on the immortal. He was often loathe to harm a lady, but his appetite demanded her. And when he hungered his manners and etiqette evaporated. Thankfully he was only peckish right now, so he restrained himself. Now was not the time to reveal his true self.

@Whale

Acantha was trying to yank one of the spikes out as a much larger spike caught her attention she dodged just in time as the spike missed her by a few inches. using her strings to pull her further away from both the spike and the direction the spike came from, all the while trying to take out the spikes. In a fit of anger as soon as she was, what in her mind was, a good distance away she used her strings to throw all the debris in the general vicinity in the Immortal's (and demon) direction. hopefully giving her time. She continued to take the spike out using some of the debris's momentum to take it out she felt it getting loose and soon enough one spike was torn out of her causing a lot of pain but Acantha refrained from showing it.

The Virus Immortal

The Virus Immortal tsked at his accuracy. Retreating... Just when he thought sense might have left his enemy, he noticed her retreating. The only thing he could do was follow her. Though it was hard to avoid the debris at a certain degree, the widespread nature of her attack made it infinitely easier. Her leaving her hiding to just go further away didn't really do much for her beyond letting him get proper aims. He sent another spike of nearly a palm of length, before what could just be described as a small tempest of toothpick-sized spikes was sent at her. Yes, these were far smaller, he wouldn't even spend so much energy knowing her shielding abilities. The spike still in her would certainly attempt to provide a good distraction at the right time, even if to make only a few of his own small spikes hit her. If not, it isn't as if he won't push them towards her once she thinks they've been blocked. The spikes, after all, don't disappear just because they are blocked or taken out.

The spike still in her, kept releasing more and more of his energy. The energy that was already within her kept reaching for her soul, certainly in ever strengthening attempts to damage her soul so that she can be taken out of the equation of this 'heist' which doesn't seem to be all too well considering that the closest ship was blown up.

@Petroshka

Acantha gave up trying to get the remaining spike out of her arm and instead focusing all her attention to blocking or destroying the volly of spikes all the while vibrating at the 60 gigahertz frequency. Hopefully extending the range of which the strings could destroy the spikes. She used an ultra long string to pull her as fast as she could toward the general bulk of the grand fleet's ship. She knew she wouldn't beat him thanks to that explosion weakening her strings, but she might as well make it hard for him to aim and get any closer. Wincing at the pain that the spike in her arm was giving her, she grabbed it and carelessly pulled as hard has she could breaking it in half.

@Archene

The energy being launched at him from the blade was going to be tricky. The fact that he had been knocked off balance by a blast of aether didn't help him. Nanautzin instead of trying to steady himself leapt out of the way of the blasts of energy. The smell of cleanliness clashed with the putrid smell of disease in the air. Any membrane that was touched by the chemicals burned and died off. Nanautzin used the membrane behind Theon to attack. The membrane behind Theon launched at him in spikes attempting to stab into his calfs which would allow Nanautzin to infect Theon as well.

Next thing Nanautzin needed to deal with was the blade. Closing the distance with a leap Nanautzin grabbed Theon's wrist and turned the blade away while squeezing hard enough that he probably broke the wrist. The viral membrane was already given the purpose to evolve and propagate so just having Nanautzin near caused the membrane and his viral energy to spread rapidly through the halls , trying to get into the ventilation.

An alarm sounded as the ship had exploded, alerting all nearby patrols to tighten up the security to try to keep from the Demons entering any further. Cynthia was already far away, surfing down a fast moving slime platform, along with the few mortals that would've died without any chance to fight for the empire. Bouncing off of a spongy slime surface, Cynthia gracefully landed on the hard floor of the next ship with the other three soldiers collapsing in a pile after the unexpected turn of events. "Go to the Military Barracks and warn them of an attack. Tell them to get to their positions to surround the Residential area and not to let anything suspicious pass." ordered Cynthia, pointing them off to the barracks. The Grand Fleet would not have any citizen casualties because of a single breach in the defenses.

After the three guards had scurried off, Cynthia turned to look for the Demons or Immortals that dared to attack the Grand Fleet. There was obviously a lot of conflicts going on at the very moment, but her piercing eyes were scanning the room for anything that might be trying to slip past her. Sneaking around the area the Artificial Immortal thoroughly made sure that there wasn't anything that might be currently cruising past them. However once she spotted a lone Demon or Immortal, she knew that she would not go easy on them.

The Virus Immortal

He certainly didn't think she would be so quick witted as the virus coursed through her. He truly didn't expect that. His spikes didn't even reach her, specially the largest one. While one or another of the smaller ones hit her, most of the ones that did barely scratched her.

He seemed to focus at her briefly as she went further and further, a last spike being sent. Seeming to focus was the keyword though, that spike was fated to have no chances of hitting. Even if it did, he would doubt it could really break through the Artificial's skin.

The half of the spike that was still within Acantha kept releasing the virus though the pace seemed to slow down after the spike was broken, either because of the aforementioned fact or due to the distance from the Virus Immortal. What truly mattered though is that the Virus still within her slowly kept spreading, and if it could keep doing that, it wasn't hard to guess what would happen to the Artificial Immortal. The virus was simply there to consume, grow and evolve.  Over the wounded parts of her where the virus was in larger quantities, the skin would even get a sickly purple tone as if it even had began to decay.

The Virus Immortal himself was tired however, that last storm of spikes did tire him though he did his best to not show that. He was glad that the String Immortal didn't remain to fight. Had it become a fight of attrition after all of that, he wasn't sure if he'd be able to flee much less win. What mattered to him, however was to find somewhere to recover his forces. Thus he began retreating, containing his energy as much as he could while hiding among the debris from a ship that had been destroyed earlier.

@Petroshka @Cheryl

The demon was still fast, and could easily dodge Theon's primary attack, but as Nanautzin advanced towards him, he left himself totally open to be hit by the Chemical shots. Holding his blade out in a defensive stance, he continuously fired off rounds into Nanautzin's core, allowing his energy to constantly flow into the corrupted soul. Although, in the middle of his attack, his thigh was pierced by a surprise attack, causing Theon to become infected himself. Well, this is the way it's gotta be, last time the slow game didn't work, so now Theon had to overpower his enemy, unafraid of death. As his leg was being pierced, his aim didn't falter, blasting shots into Nanautzin's soul until his clip was empty. After this, he held out his arm, only to be grabbed suddenly by the demon. "Get your hands off of me!" Theon hissed and swung his blade, releasing himself from Nanautzin's weakened grip, lopping off his leg and pushing himself into the air with his remaining one. The encroaching virus would slow his regeneration slightly, but nonetheless, his leg had already begun to repair itself in mid-air. "You're sicker than me, Demon. It's already done." Theon huffed and charged up his blade with chemicals, then released it all towards Nanautzin, raining down energy above him.

Earlier in the fight, and just now, Theon had been able to penetrate Nanautzin's soul, at this very moment, the chemicals were mixing in with the putrid virus. This concoction was put together specifically for Nanautzin, as Theon has time to prepare battle strategies after their previous encounter. How did Nanautzin beat Theon last time? Endurance, energy potency, speed, in that order. His chemicals would reduce the demon's combat capabilities significantly, based upon this strategy. Right now, Nanautzin's speed and attack potency would be reduced significantly, forcing him to expend a lot more energy to keep up with Theon's power. Theon was feeling confident, if there was any good place to die, it'd be here.

@SleepyBuddha

"Why should I be trying to?" Gabriel grinned at his taunt, looking over at the confident warrior as a serpent materialized behind her, seemingly appearing from the floor with its eyes focused on the mortal only . The stone monster towered over its master, waiting for a command as the other snake raised from the rubble and circled around the crimson warrior, not being beaten down from the fight with gas wielder. Her enemy might be capable of dealing lethal blows, but the bad side of such a heavy sword is that it can't block attacks from many sides. Officer thought just that as she raised and hit the end of her spear against the floor, serpents taking it as a sign to attack . The larger one behind the Officer snarled and both of the monsters dashed at the crimson warrior from the opposite sides, their jaws spread wide with long fangs on plain sight as the larger one swooped down on its prey, with the smaller one hurling towards the mortal, tilting its head to bore its teeth into his body.

A few splinter spikes had found their mark, Acantha's back was hit by four of the small ones while her legs were hit by two each, when she realized the attack had stopped she relaxed And focused on tearing these damned spikes out. She left the large one on her arm alone first and took the small ones out. She felt weak and sickly but she supposed it was typical. After tearing the last small spike that was particularly hard to find she then went to focus on the larger one. Her weak arms tried pulling it free but the fruitless endeavor resulted in slightly more pain. She could see what the virus did to her skin, bruised and purple. She frowned and used her strings to pull it out. With  a cry it went loose she quickly tried to vibrate her strings at the 60 gigahertz frequency but she was simply too tired.

Looks like i have to get rid of this virus the old fansioned way. Acantha relaxed her body as it drifted in space toward the Grand Fleet's direction. She had trained for this, she read somewhere that you can partically sleep while being aware. Her body now limp witht her eyes open and looking for danger. Heh, looks like im out of the fight for now, and i didnt have to use the syringe, yet.
