Grand Fleet

Nanautzin began moving within the cocoon, struggling to break out of the container that held him back from the massive amount of souls. His reasoning is all but gone now as as he ripped open the container his dark energy spilled out into the universe and was easily noticed by anyone near him. The ancient immortal leapt at the massive fleet of ship from his cocoon with a loud blood curdling scream. The only thing on his mind was feasting on that massive source of souls. Using his viral energy Nanautzin would greatly increase his strength by augmenting the muscles in his arms and legs so that he could rip his way through the metal of the ships.

As Acantha walked in, the purple fumes occupied the whole hangar already. He did wave his hand slightly to make then thin enough between him and her, but kept them there to ensure that she wouldn't get too close. He waved at her more properly, in a rather friendly manner, "Not that much." He gave her a sincere looking half-hearted smile, "Yeah, though I don't know why you'd need to add so many strings around. Isn't that tiring?" He just kept a light smile on his face. Sighing, before bowing, "You can call me Archene. It is, a pleasure to meet you." He raised his head before saying, "But now," he clapped, the fumes stirring slightly before rushing at her from all directions, "Let us begin."

The Immortal would certainly liked to have continued the conversation for longer, but he had felt yet another one coming towards him. He already wasn't all too confident at going against the one in front of him. Though the closed space really did give him advantages, it still made it hard for him to take care of himself. His resolve to keep their attention didn't waver though. He felt one of his own emitting their energy outside the Great Fleet, so surely, they would be able to go on with their plans. At least, none of the ones he was distracting would go interrupt them.

As Gabriel approached the demon's location she could feel a source of aether close to it, making her lightly chuckle as the Officer was about to blindly burst in, not knowing what was happening or if she might hit her ally with what her minion was about to do. The serpent bellow her was going head first against the metal doors closed by safety measures of the ship, breaking them like paper while it was tracking its prey like an animal, sensing it trough walls and finding a quickest route to it.

The officer took a step back as they turned into the last corridor, crouching and holding for the snake's hide with one, while bracing her spear with the other hand as the large snake slammed into the thick door of the hangar area. The monster's initial hit made a big dent into them, and the final tackle  burst the door open, metal shards flying everywhere as Forfax jumped from the snake's forehead, landing on her feet and making a roll to soften the jump. She quickly stood back up, only few steps away from Acantha. She looked at the Spider queen as the stone monster hurled at the demon with jaw open wide. "What's the situation?", the officer asked her, slightly sighing in relief since the serpent didn't hurt her by bursting in.

At first, the souls that had been rising and falling in levels around the massive city were nothing to the demon except mere intrigue. Large souls that may have been in an arguement. But as more time passed the minor intrigue grew into avid curiosity. These large souls were something much much more. At first it was only two, then three, then four and suddenly it grew into an astronomical amount of powerful beings flaring up against each other in opposition. The chaos erupting between the beings brought nothing but a smile to Fellos's lips as he stood from his perch and cracked a few of his joints in preparation.

"Oh these people are absolutely ripe for the picking. I can finish my evolution today if I'm lucky! So many powerful people hahaha! My skin is tingling with excitement!" He yelled out with a smile. Again, his voice was simply carried away by the wind, as no one was around. Well, there was no need to hide anymore. This entire settlement was about to become a war zone and Crimson wanted to be at the center of it all, bathing in the glory.

The near-demon left with great force from the building, traveling an impressive amount of meters in one bound, before landing in the streets and shattering the surface under him. He then positioned himself and took off in a burst of speed that kicked up even more gravel behind him with the sheer force of his legs. Another large leap put him through the entrance the other demon had carved into the ship itself. It took mere moments for the demon to come close enough to the scene where three (or more) individuals were already locked in combat and Fellos just let out a laugh as he saw the soldiers cornering one of his own kind. He was so close to evolving too...it's only right for him to help out a fellow demon on the eve of his transformation was it not?

"Ladies! I think I'd leave the man alone. He seems to be having a very important moment you know?" He said casually though the way he walked towards the soldiers in question was anything but casual. It was downright menacing and the demon's bloodlust was practically palpable. He drew his great sword and increased the density in one swift motion, planting in the ground by the tip and shatter the surface beneath it. "But between you and me? I'm hoping you guys came here to start a fight. Cuz' I've been itching for some good pickings around here. I've gotten tired of picking off random mortals with big souls. I'm sure you understand." His body radiated battle readiness and his senses were on full-open. Everything down to the way he distributed his weight was ready for combat, so a surprise attack on him was not going to be possible, no matter the angle. Unless it was from very far out, a sniper of sorts.

"My soul would probably be tasteless but you still can't have it." Morgan replied. Morgan knows Acantha is fighting somewhere onboard so he had to careful with explosion sizes but he was going to have to up the yield to get anywhere. He deflected the tentacle with an explosion from his hand, one thing his attacks would have is speed considering even normal explosions occur feet per second. "Yeah sorry about this in advance for whoever gets caught up in this." Morgan said overs the comms. Before another explosion charged in his hand and he unleashed a massive one that blew away that entire part of the ship revealing the void of space.

Acantha stood still as the gases game rushing toward her has defensive strings formed a visible air tight cocoon around her.  so sttacking with some kind of gas? Maybe his abilities revolves around those kind of attacks? As soon as the gases seemingly stopped attacking her the cocoon bursted open revealing Gabriel on her favorite snake. "The situation is alright although i much prefer if we eleminate our new adversary as quickly as possible" she smiled at her as strings pulled Acantha away from Archene. A rope like string formed to his left and came rushing at him in bullet like speed not really aiming to kill but to move him around. Acantha analyzing her foe's movements.

Gabriel nodded at that, glancing at the crimson warrior that appeared behind, tightening the hold of her scythe. "Do you mind if I leave you to take on the gas controller?", she asked. If what the almost demon wanted was a battle, he came to the right place.

William threw up his hands as the blast ripped apart the hull of the ship. He, along with the immortal who claimed he wasn't an immortal and several other human crew members were flung into space. The demon shot a tentacle out that latched onto the side of a thick metal wall, the three-pronged teeth digging in. When the fleshy appendage finally pulled William to a stop, he found he was next to some immortals, "Oh. Well hello there! My name is William Rundell Haus Code, it is nice to meet you. Are you also here to consume the humans?" He flashed them a charismatic smile.

Acantha smirked at Gabriel "of course not." She internally frowned, she didnt like fighting on fair terms especially if the surroundings gave her opponent the advantage.

@Archene

Nanautzin was entirely covered in his viral armor at this point. It served to strengthen his physical abilities by quite a large margin, but didn't actually protect against anything but physical attacks. As Nanautzin tore his way through the hull of the ship he could hear someone talking. The fact that it was a demon actually managed to wake him from his self induced hibernation. " I am here to to bring balance to my mind and soul. I can no longer resist what it is I have condemned myself to be." Nanautzin told the demon with the strange smile before launching himself inside the hanger, and anchoring himself inside with the membrane from his armor.

Now that he was inside it was time he did what any good disease would do. Infiltrate. propagate. Spread. His viral membrane began spreading all over the hanger at a much more accelerated rate than ever before. The rapid coverage ever surprised Nanautzin as in an instant a good 10 foot area around him was covered. " I guess being a demon has its perks." He muttered.

"Oh yeah. Plenty of perks. For example, you get very well rewarded when you take out a strong opponent. You go infect the ship comrade. I'll handle the scythe girl." The Crimson clad warrior armored his right arm up for a second as he clapped his fellow demon onto the shoulder just before he launched off to destroy the ship in his own way.

Fellos pulled his blade effortlessly from the hull of the ship and swung it in a circle a few times around his person, as if he was swinging a stick around rather than a thick, two handed bladed weapon. "Come on little girl. Show me what you got but I'm not going to lie to you. You don't look all that impressive. I'm feeling some much more powerful souls aboard this vessel and I'm looking forward to consuming them. But you are just in the way for now. So hopefully you can prove to be a decent warm up." As his sentence was finished, Fellos dashed forward at surprising speed for his size and swung his sword down in a vertical arc. He would multiply the swords density mid swing so that it would crash and split the metal that dared to stand against it. Predicting a Dodge, Crimson would run forward past the sword, decrease the density and pull the sword free. The demon would quickly turn around and swing in a horizontal arc to prevent any kind of counter attack, as his opponent seemed like the type to dodge and counter rather than try to fight his strength head on.

The Virus Immortal

As soon as the other immortal came, it went off. All she truly did was blowing some of his purple 'clouds' away and having a stone snake come after him. He was truly worried for a moment, even if it is a closed environment, he was sure that a match against either of them alone would be hard. Luckly, he was left alone against the string user. He rolled to the side away from the snake attack. His movements weren't rushed at all, as if he was calm and knew how to fight. Even if his soul was weak at least, he seemed to have a certain amount of experience fighting. If there was something that made him smile internally besides being able to fight alone against the artificial, it was being called gas controller. It helps when one of the enemy tells another a misconception.

When the rope rushed at him at bullet speed, he couldn't help but jump back an arm being sparingly used to ensure it didn't harm his torso. At the same time, the gas that had been blown away seemed to spread slightly before half of it coalesced in a small thin sphere around him. The rest rushed again at the Artifical in the form of several thin tendrils, "Why staying so far away? Also no good at hand to hand combat? Or just fearing coming close up now that you don't have advantage in numbers?" The least that could be said about the Immortal was that he was unarmed, for now at least.

"Indeed? Well good for you, sir. Lay waste to these mortals then." He watched as the other demons got to work, "How interesting. To think there were others intelligent enough to consume others' lives to grow stronger? Honestly..." He chuckled as explosions occurred across the outer hull and some viral infection spread across the metallic rooms, now open to the vacuum of space. Down below was a fight between 3 immortals and a demon. Wait, wasn't it odd that the immortals would fight each other? Surely they would see fit to destroy the humans as well, why would any choose defend the silly fleet of mortals? The only plausible reason was that they were indeed not immortal. And that meant... "Human..." William grinned uncharacteristically savagely. So the ones he had been fighting were still technically mortal, a fake, a construction to emulate that of a real immortal. He laughed aloud, how outrageous! At least he, a demon, had gotten his power naturally through the process of natural selection, or rather, due to him eating a large quantity of people. And real immortals were just born with their power. But to think that these, these, ARTIFICIAL immortals were of mortal creation?! Hilarious, the weaklings knew they were not as good as the rest of us, so they tried to create something that was better! William was reduced to giggles as his tentacle rope swayed back and forth from the force of the explosions as the outer layer of defences of the ship began to break off in areas. So, what? They just took the souls of the weak and gave it to a human? Then that meant they were no better than him, sacrificing those to give power to another! If anything, these immortal mortals are closer to demons than the actual beings they were made to mirror. What a quaint notion!

Still snickering, his tether pulled him in rapidly and he landed on the side of the ship, "Now where did that volatile fake go, if I do say so myself. I need to consume his power, even if its just old recycled souls." He tore a hole in the metal wall as he grew some bone-made claws from his wrists and disappeared into the ship. Humans or Fakes, either would satiate his hunger. Or maybe even a real immortal? A glint flashed in his eye. Or maybe, just maybe, if one of those demons were to fall...

@Raikou Kaminari

As soon as the screen popped up with a blinking red exclamation mark on a part of the ship, Cynthia furrowed her brow and thought of multiple possibilities whilst staring at the screen. She picked up the crackling radio and listened to Otrov. "Captain Sheridan replying, there appears to be something attacking the ship. There are a good number of men already there and I will be joining them soon enough." declared Cynthia as she spun away from the desk and set down to reach the area as soon as possible. She will not have anything come and harm the citizens of the Grand Fleet.

Her silver hair flowed behind her back as she briskly walked down towards the breach, keeping a professional look on her at all times. Brandishing her razor sharp sword with a matching shield, Cynthia was sure to check there weren't any cracks or scrapes in either weapon that would handicap her in a fight. It didn't matter what was attacking the ship. Demon, Immortal, monster, perhaps even a god, she was sure that she wouldn't hold back.

@Rurnur

Smiling at her opponent Acantha couldnt help but notice that there was a sort of confidence in his movements. Acantha could tell he was experienced and knows some sort of basic degree in psychological warfare attempting to agitate her into doing something stupid. She was amused by this fruitkess endeavor and stared at him with her unwavering smile. She took another glace at her surroundings, although she herself was at a disadvantage since she didnt like close quarters combat her stringd were in a advantage in that they completely filled the air. And he doesn't know they're there. But she would have to play her odds smart and use them at the correct time. It wasnt the time to underestimate an immortal less she ended up like the late Captain Hiiglane.

"I am sorry if I disappoint you by staying away." She bowed. "But frankly your face is simply too handsome for me to bare." She threw her left hand up and another rope slowly formed but quickly whipped after @Archene at this point Acantha was simply using harassing attacks to study and get to know her opponent better.

At this point, even Theon could detect the massive amount of energies all in conflict, somewhere further along the outer rim. "Are you outnumbered? I'll make my way to your location." He spoke into the radio, assuming that the enemy had decided to focus their attention on one location in particular, he would need to provide backup. Theon quickly pulled his gun from the holster, sprinting down the halls, pushing off the ground to speed up as much as possible, until he neared the energy sources.

As he turned around a hallway, approaching a nearby hangar, he noticed a distinct energy that was nearby. Definately familiar, it was the virus demon. "Nanautzin.." He said to himself, tightening the grip on his handgun. He kicked open a door with his firearm at the ready, focusing his aim on the shape of Nanautzin as he entered the hangar, slowly walking towards the demon. "You.. is this really the fate you've chosen for yourself?" He spoke sternly, furrowing his brow.

The Virus Immortal

Malesh smiled back at her. The steeled kind of enemy, he thought, Her staying away might be to my liking though. He couldn't imagined it would do him too well, considering that even his tendrils got blocked. Didn't even look like a kind of active defense. He had made the attacks not come from everywhere to check that. It would certainly be less energy consuming blocking them more individually... or at least, he thought. She could also be of the kind that was super aware of her surroundings which would just make the fight, even more troublesome.

There seemed to be quite some explosion in the ship, but luckly, it seemed to be too far away to affect them. Unless it damaged something that'd lead the ship to blow up now or eventually, but that wasn't something The Virus Immortal knew.

"Awh, you are quite pretty yourself, specially the hair." On hindsight, they did have their physical similarities, "You have barely scratched me and I've barely scratched the door. We could call it even and each of us could go our way." He ducked, there was no need to run around against an opponent like her. Though he did expect there were strings around, at most he was able to feel the ones touching the small layer of virus around him. It was thin enough to only give a brief purple tinge to the world. It was after all, mostly gaseous, right?

The gas-like tendrils after being blocked again, simply tried to slowly rush towards her, like a cloud. If it was an active defense, she'd be hard pressed to focus on them and attacking at the same time at least. The gas began spreading over, but unlike on the first time, they lacked any force as if it was just trying to lie down against any shield that was laid. Hopefully to spend more energy than he was. After all, when fighting against an enemy with more energy, you can only out last them if you can make them spend more energy than yourself!

Morgan flew around the outside of the ship propelled by extended explosions from his feet. He radioed the other soldiers of the Grand Fleet on board which was just the Artificals since all the mortals were dead. "Please get off the ship too many enemies in one place to not take this chance. I'm gonna try to blow it up, get off the ship!" Morgan warned. He distanced himself from ship, hard to believe the enemy all stormed the same outer rim ship if not hurt them this would scatter them so the artificials can face them 1v1. The way this is going the Sentinels may have to to step in to beat back the demons, they'll likely step in if one or two of the Artificals die, Morgan likely to be among them. Unlike the others he never recieved an aether syringe so he wouldn't be upgrading to using soul armor lets hope his opponent was not off that level yet.

He aimed his hand at the ship and charged a powerful explosive blast in his hand, then he fired it and the blast struck the ship, causing damage to various systems, creating a chain reaction of explosions that would eventually lead to the destruction of the ship.

Acantha glaced quickly at the direction of the explosion then went back to @Archene and saw him switch attack, if you can call it that. She used her strings to throw a ship or what was left of it at him while attempting to 'fan out' the gas creeping up on her. "im flattered at your offer but i doubt we will reach that conclusion any time soon" upon the ship almost hitting him she held her breath and pulled herself out of the predicament of being surrounded by encroaching gas and landed on a far wall seemingly 'sticking' to it.

The Gentleman turned around just as the blast caught him, the beam having been directed directly in his direction. His skin burnt off and his flesh melted as he took the blast head on, arms outstretched as if he were welcoming it. When it was over, he hung there, floating in the 0G space that used to be a part of the ship. And he still regenerated, his ribs were a thick tomb of bone, no gaps for full protection. His bone was infused with the stolen power of the many souls he had captured, made stronger, better. From within the bone tomb grew a tentacle that lashed around his skeleton, rebuilding the body. A few seconds passed and already the fleshy exterior had returned, his skin now reprising. Finally his eyeballs came back, staring in the direction of the fake immortal as his grin reformed itself. This one must be insane, to think he would risk the lives of his comrades and fellow humans? Hilarious! William shot forth a torrent of appendages, bone-tipped fleshy tentacles that arced over to him with the intent of piercing his body and reeling him in. Regenerating his body cost William about the same value as one whole human soul, so this type of thing was nothing. And he'd consumed a lot of souls.

Malesh glanced along Acantha towards the explosion. Throwing a ship, rather than something small, would be VERY effective if it wasn't something so mundane! It was just effective enough for it need him to drop down, the gas moving close to the ground. He dove under the ship as it came at him before rolling and standing up again, still quite far from Acantha. Alright, now that is a creative use of the environment. Luckly, there had been no harsh attacks on him else he knew he'd be getting tired enough by now.

Though the gas had been relentless in its focus to reach the Artifical, as soon as the ship was thrown at him, their relentlessness weakened. With this, it wasn't hard for his enemy to relocate. He sighed, "We could, if you'd let us. It isn't as if I've done anything against you. Truly, I haven't touched even a single strand of your hair." The purple gas rushed all together towards her, as if attempting to pierce the shield he knew she'd put up. This time, should it hit the very same barrier as usual, it'd just all bounce before moving in an arc and rushing from another direction that'd hopefully be a blind point. Should take more attention if it is an active defense at least.

@Petroshka

Gabriel smirked as she listened to what the warrior had to say, doing her best not to snap at him and answering with "In that case, I hope to shed some light on that understatement". Suddenly the crimson man hurled at her, swinging his sword down at  the Officer that waited for a right moment to step back and counter. With wide eyes she jumped to her right as the sword cut trough air  way faster than it should have, young officer barely avoiding it unscathed. Taking the moment when the human's weapon was stuck in the metal floor, Gabriel raised and swung her scythe, determined to decapitate the crimson man, only to loose balance and fall back as the explosion shook the ship. By the way the sound of complete destruction was nearing the Officer could tell that it would soon reach them. She quickly stood up on her feet, crouching as the warrior swung his sword, kicking him in the leg with her metal boot. They had to get out of there, and quick, but at the same time she won't allow her enemy the satisfaction of becoming a demon, at least not today.

@shadowz1995

As Acantha Jumped out of the way of the encroaching gas she regretted it as she felt the slight burn all across her skin. Damn i shouldve seen that coming as soon as she looked back at her foe the gas was already slamming at her shields. she whinced at the slight pain seemingly eating at her. "looks like you're a bit craftier than i thought, but only a little" She threw her her hands in a crossing motion and four strings in a concave like motion came screaming down at the immortal tips sharp enough to cut diamond, all aimed for his center. Judging my his tactics Acantha rounded out that his power benefits from prolonged fighting, using gases to wither down the opponent, if she could catch him off guard anywhere she could have him tangled and sliced to ribbons. She let out a breath of air she didnt know she was holding then took a good diagnostics of herself, the effects that the gas had upon her, seemed. Familar.

@Archene

Morgan blasted away from the tentacles towards the Security Halls relatively barely a bit closer being they had lightyears between here and the Security Halls. Morgan had a plan up his sleeve to put an end to this demon but he needed a crap ton of distance between him and the others. He wonder how the flesh demon would move through space being there's no wind and he did blow up the ship. There's no wind or anything so flying wings would be useless. He finally stopped righted himself and then unleashed another explosion to blow back the tentacles. The only thing the demon had is that this is a battle of attrition but Morgan was soon about to take that way as well.

The Virus Immortal

"Think the one to come ahead alone would be someone stupid?" Malesh grinned. She had been finally infected. This is probably what happen when two very cautious people fight each other. Her next attack was something that would surely get him. The stage was set, strings to make dodging the attack difficult, a tired enemy and of course, a well aimed strong attack. There was one thing missing on it. The timing. The chain explosions that had been affecting the ship finally had reached their hangar, whether it was because of any local fueling or because the ship as a whole was about to explode. It was unknown. What mattered is that both of them were thrown off towards space. The Virus Immortal with several burns over her body, the good side was that he wasn't entangled or minced.

She was infected regardless, and no cauterization would take that away from her as the virus seemed to try to bury itself deeper into her body. The spread of the sensation being distinctly closer to that of a virus energy.
