Grand Fleet

William had peered into the hole to be greeted with a rather unpleasant sound and a lot of gunfire, along then with the gun itself. He stopped, still looking through the hole in mild surprise as the bullets peppered him and the gun floated by, the room now becoming a vacuum as well. Sighing, the flesh demon stepped inside, his wound already healed, and brushed off his clothes, which were actually rather shabby given that they were his stowaway clothes. He really needed to find a finely-tailored suit sometime. But that was a matter for another time, he now turned his attention to the source of the screaming and instant attack. It appeared to be some young human who now held knife in his hands, already prepared to fight him. William grinned, "Oh, so you seek to challenge me? Well then, as a Gentleman, I accept." With a grin, he bowed briefly as four tentacles began to protrude from his back, slithering out as a long fleshy mass, lashing about randomly or snaking towards the boy. The wings and tail had gone at this point, but they were no longer necessary. William had been preparing for a fight in the open, but he was not impartial to close-quarter fighting such as this. He was a dueller after all. Continuing to walk forward slowly, the demon decided to give the artificial the chance to attack first, or say something for himself. All the while his four tentacles, each about as thick as one's torso, stayed primed behind him, like vipers waiting to strike, enhanced-bone tips gleaming in the light.

Alec's eyes widened. "That's..." He was watching the the tentacles slipping, writhing around the hall, his chest rising and falling rapidly. He didn't finish his sentence. He was supposed to be the Cavalry... Not the damsel in distress. He gripped his Cutlass and Dagger tightly, pointing the longer blade towards his opponent, and keeping the dagger pointing slightly to the left, ready to parry attacks. There was no way he was letting this... This thing, win. It was his job to turn battles to his favor, not lose them.

He was just lucky his team wasn't there... He'd be putting them in danger. Alec's grip on his weapons tightened, his head turning upwards to make eye contact with the beast. He was more confident than before. He was ready.

Alec began running, ducking to the left as he got closer. He was diving into the tentacles. He dove, flipping his dagger so it was in a stabbing position. He was attempting to stab into a tentacle, leaving his back, and left side wide open.

((Its totally not counterproductive to post your character's weaknesses. I don't know what you're talking about.))

William raised an eyebrow at the fake immortal's apparent bravery, but responded only with actions. Two tentacles from the left shot forth to stab him, but missed as the boy dodged them, his knife stabbing into one fleshy appendage, but not immediately doing much to it. With another sigh, William allowed a tentacle from the right to wrap around the preoccupied artificial's torso and throw him back with enough force to throw him through on of the steel doors ahead. The wounded tentacle began healing the wound and would be done within a few moments. William walked forward again, "You're going to need help, young one. We demons are a little more tricky to handle than the immortals you are trained to kill." With a sadistic smile, he whipped forth two tentacles towards the boy, planning to send him crashing further into the wall and probably into the next room.

@Thetas (Haven't specified if your magic knife is still in the tentacle btw, feel free to let it blow up or whatever it does. :D

\\Alec Forge//

Alec let out a loud cry as he was thrown into the door, his scream of pain ending when his back hit, due to the air being knocked from his lungs. Needless to say, he was not doing well. He landed in a roll, quickly transitioning to his feet. He took note of his knife, which was still in the tentacle. He grunted a bit, looking down at his hand. The dagger was powered by him, requiring physical contact. That was out of the question. He grunted and gripped the hilt of his Cutlass with both hands, his eyes focused on the tentacles.

Within a few seconds, the tentacle were on the attack once again. He smirked and began running at them, stopping and pivoting on one foot, leaving him out of the way of the first tentacle. He continued that motion and sliced down on the tentacle, cutting into the flesh deeply, the serrated blade ripping it severely.

((I'm just now realizing how fucked I am xDD))

The blade tore the tentacle open and it bled profusely- only for the blood to be sucked back inside as the tentacle turned inside out and wrapped around the cutlass. Meanwhile the second tentacle was still on the attack having been only a few metres behind the first. It was nearly upon the boy, ready to lash him across the chest as the first held onto his weapon and made its way up to the hilt.

@Thetas (haha, ikr? Call in back up! :D  )

\\Alec Forge//

Alec tried pulling his blade out, grunting when it didn't give way. It was the serrated blade... It held fast. He grunted and begrudgingly let go, turning to see the second tentacle. It was too late to respond.

Alec flew into the steel wall, leaving an enormous dent. He let out a sharp cry, and fell to his knees, breathing heavily. He titled his head weakly and looked over to his dagger, an easy 15 feet from him. Too far. He grunted and stumbled to his feet, forming a fist in his hand. He wiped a bit of blood from his lip, and looked up to the Demon. And he waited.

William frowned. This wasn't entirely entertaining. No, if anything it was rather pitiful.  The tentacles retracted and William walked forward, tossing the long blade he had taken from the fake immortal back. It seemed keeping him at a distance was too effective, William wanted a challenge, excitement. It was unfair to the prey if the chase was too brief. Smiling again, the flesh demon drew close to the boy, flexed his fist. William still had his improved senses, speed and strength, so his body was vastly superior anyway. But he had also decided not to use any weapons to make it fair. If the boy did nothing, then William would make his attack, but for now he seemed complacent enough to allow the boy to make the first moves of each encounter.  He would see how long this young being would last.

Nova Wolfe

Nova was of course slightly annoyed that Alec has gone out into battle without them but learned to accept it anyway. Though they really didn't talk that much she still thought of him as a friend and felt as if she would be upset if he got hurt, though she knew she wouldn't. She slapped the daggers on her waist and smirked some, posing for a moment before pushing her hair back and stepping out of the armory. She looked around the halls, running through in an attempt to find Alec. She wasn't entirely sure where he had went but was sure he had already gotten into trouble. Her suspicions where confirmed when she looked through a door, seeing some sort of what she assumed was a demon walking twoards the mid twenties looking man. She summoned her blade and smiled some, twirling it in her hand before pointing it at the demon though she didn't speak, she waited. After looking back for a moment to see if she had been followed. She finally decided to go ahead and move in. And though she knew they wouldn't do much she pulled out her throwing knifes and tossed them at the demon before whistling, knowing the most they would do was be an annoying destruction. "Hey, why kick one person's ass when you could kick two?" She said pointing the sword at the demon.

Alec smirked when he heard Nova, Cavalry 2. He smirked and dove for his Cutlass, grabbing it in a rolling motion and transitioning to his feet, using the momentum to continue his sprint, pointing his Cutlass behind him. He twisted his feet, and

launched himself into the air, resulting in a spin. He smirked, and plunged his blade into the beast's shoulder, planting his feet on its chest and pushing off, ripping his blade out of the beast's shoulder, mutilating the flesh. He landed a few feet away, watching for a reaction.

Vail let out a noise of alarm. That boy was going to get killed, leaving the pair of them behind. Her fingered trailed up the zipper and ripped it upwards to zip her full body armour suit over her own clothes. She looked behind her a moment, seeing if Nova was still in the armoury with her. That girl had left her too. Vail blew a lock of stray hair that had fallen in front of her face. Great, they had left her behind. No matter. Vail attached her mask and flipped her black, leather hood over her face. This would be fun. To kill. To kill anyone, really. Her trusty crossbow with arrows and tranquilizer arrows in a sling attached to her back, and the small knife at her side, she was ready.

Vail took her time looking for the Nova and Alec. While they rushed into battle, instincts and getting the job done at there side, Vail approached this a different way. She liked to come up with tactics, and watch them die slowly. A cunning girl, a creepy girl. Someone you really shouldn't mess with, especially when her friends were involved.

The downside to her smarts, was that she wasn't anything without weapons. Yes, she was quick, but fighting with anything other than her crossbow or even the knife, hand-to-hand didn't go well with her. Neither did guns, or throwing knives, etc.

Vail hummed as the pitter-patter of her feet hit the metal of the floor.  Her arms were held to the side and her feet kicked out in front of her, like she was balancing on a thin beam. Vail eventually came to the three, her friends fighting a Demon. Cavalry One had plunged a knife into the shoulder, wounding it. Demons were strong, and they were angry. He would no doubt strike back immediately, and they would have to do a lot more damage to kill it.

Vail stuck an arm out in front of Nova as she came from behind her, probably scaring her. If Nova came forward, she would get in the middle, probably being hit. Alec was going to get struck at as well, so she whispered low enough for Alec to hear, "Move", as in, move out of the way. Hopefully he would dodge the strike.

Vail snapped her finger, a small ball of fire gleaming in her hand, growing by the moments. A blue, orange, and yellow ball of beauty ready to scorch the Demon's face off.

Theon's smile dissapeared from his face, surprised that this Immortal held such hatred for the Grand Fleet, while a purely evil monster was hovering so nearby. How ridiculous, these people were only concerned for their precious homes, that are simply irrelevant in the long term. "And, that is the problem, Immortals! You think you weren't created for a reason? The universe made you to protect those mortals you have bundled up inside you, not to stand by and watch!" Theon fought the urge to aim his gun at Alex instead of William, a rage building up inside him, at the ignorance of these beings. "The facts are all here, you insult the universe itself just by existing, and not fulfilling your purpose. What other purpose do you serve at this point, other than keeping billions of mortal lives trapped inside you, leeching off of their strength while you 'keep the balance' ! Meaning, nothing at all. Pathetic."

Suddenly, he squeezed his trigger, firing a shot at the fleeing William, but he had become too focused on Alex, and missed the shot completely. He cursed himself and considered chasing him down for a moment, before deciding against it as he detected a large energy reading coming from deeper within the fleet, finally reinforcements? He was relieved, now he could focus on the targets in his immediate vicinity. The Immortals wouldn't get away from him and Gabriel now. "Hmph, you know so little of the universe, you try and speak of demons and the Grand Fleet? You're just a newborn compared any one of my superiors." Theon chuckled and cocked his gun, now aiming it at Alex. "If you love mortals so much, why don't you release them, and allow the Grand Fleet to reset this world, no Immortals, no Demons. That, is true balance." With his left hand, Theon reached into his coat and pulled out his Aether syringe. "Gabriel, if you want to avenge Salegg so badly, now is the time. We've got reinforcements." He smiled, tossing the syringe into Gabriel's hands. "You'll be needing that more than I do." He nodded at her, before pointing his gun at the quiet female. "What about you? Will you put up a fight, or release your mortals willingly? You do know you're keeping them imprisoned, right?" He snickered, preparing to engage in battle.

@Whale@Seraph Darkfire@Gabriel Forfax

Alex, upon seeing the Syringe, frowned slightly. He definitely felt a poor feeling from that energy. He knew it wasn't compatible with his own. He flexed his fingers as armor formed across his body "If the Mortals who made up my being wished to leave, I wouldn't stop them" he slammed his armored fist into his palm and pulled free a sword, forming it from his energy "It was my battle with Salegg that made it quite clear to me, they are not the ones that are trapped" the area around him became oppressed with his energy. A unified energy formed from the lives of billions of Mortals on a single planet, this energy kept Immortals alive, fought to keep them from fizzling out in battle.

It was why Demons slowly lost that energy, being consumed with Dark Matter. The more Mortals they consumed, the more they corrupted what made them Immortals. The Mortals that made up his soul, their collective energy would do it's best to grow stronger and keep him alive.

He suddenly had a realization 'Aether doesn't have that. We Immortals have the capacity to grow simply because it is the collective desire of the energy that our souls hold. Those Mortals drive us!' it was why the Artificial Immortals were militaristic. Immortals had many different desires due to the vastly different types of energy they gained from their birth.

Aether just gave them an imitation without the self growth, it was probably why they had the Syringes. They couldn't get stronger on their own, their energy was dull and stagnant.

'My energy strives to make me strong. I shouldn't let it down' he thought as he flooded his sword with his energy 'First, destroy that Syringe!' his body vanished and rushed towards Gabriel, swinging towards the Syringe.

@Whale @Gabriel Forfax @Rurnur

Gabriel nodded at Theon, raising her right hand to catch the syringe  The Officer's brown eyes flickered to Alex, seeing that she finally caught his attention as the syringe made the transition in between the holders. She caught it in an earth shattering hold, look never leaving Alex' as he was quick to form his armor gained in battle with her Captain, rushing forward with sword made of pure gravity. Gabriel had no intention of backing away from the weapon raised to destroy the object filled with energy in her hand, instead, the Officer stood firmly, welcoming the attack with a satisfied smirk and mind already welcomed with the option of death. Reaper stabbed the syringe deep into her chest, the sharp metal needle penetrating two layers of clothing and stabbing itself into skin and puncturing her wildly beating heart.

The initial shock made her body convulse, but she stood firm as the sudden pressure evaded her, a choking feeling that was crushing her resembling a stone serpent tightly wrapping around her. It was all in the Officer's mind, but the amber colored scales of the monstrosity left embed into her skin as it slithered around her, covering her body in armor made from highly dense stone. Forfax could feel growing stronger and more powerful as Aether washed over every cell in the Officer's body, making her strong and endurable as earth itself. The weight of the armor's own mass and pressure formed gravity on its own to keep it together, Gabriel wearing on herself an armor that had mass of few Earths with ease.

The shock and process of gaining her armor took only few moments despite her perception of it, giving her enough time to raise her armored arm and block the Immortal's swing with it, the clash of two gravities making the light coming from faraway stars twist around them.

@Rurnur @Seraph Darkfire

"Well shit, I was trying to avoid this exact scenario" Alex said. First rule of fighting, prevent your enemy from growing stronger. He sighed and immediately reversed, putting some distance between himself and Gabriel "Seriously, how unfair can you be, I have to nearly die and you just shoot up to get the same effect" he flexed his fingers around the hilt of his sword. He, of course, was aware of how cliched his own boost in strength had been, but at least his had been done with hard work.

"Also, curious, what kind of syringe was that, even if you are Artificial, I have never seen a mortal object pierce the flesh of an Immortal" he chuckled as he swung his sword, causing it to vanish in a flurry of light "Well, I guess we get to finish that fight we started oh so long ago, honestly, I don't understand you guys at all. I say I don't want to fight and you seem to grow eager because of it"

The Gravity Immortal hummed to himself "I've been alive for a long time, I've seen a lot of stuff, wars, peace, death, and even birth" he chuckled "Which is kind of weird to see, kind of gross too, but it is all very beautiful. When you are Immortal, you tend to...ignore the small things, life being one of them" he sighed "Mortals are so...enviable, living their lives with purpose, I have to protect that sense of life, not their individual lives"

"Sad thing, being Immortal. We can't have children, nor can we live peacefully and die of old age" the eyes of his helmet flashed "We are destined to die while fighting, how much does that suck?" he sounded a bit melancholy.

@Rurnur @Gabriel Forfax

William laughed aloud as the situation developed; the boy had decided to man up and commit to an attack in his body finally, stabbing him in the shoulder/chest region. It was a valiant attempt, but it had been so long since he had reason to fear a mortal flesh wound. Turning to him, he darted forward with blinding speed, almost seeming to disappear for a moment, before grabbing the boy by his throat. William looked at his face for a moment, considering something, before throwing at his friends that had just arrived. The fire wielder had the right idea; using their special abilities tended to give more results than just slashing and stabbing at him. As a counter measure, he threw forward an arm and a tentacle shot out of it, attempting to pierce the fire girl outright and end that threat before it became a problem. His regeneration was fast, faster than anything he had ever seen or heard of anyway, but he wasn't sure it was faster than a constant blast of pure fire, not yet at least. He might have to revert to his demon form if that were the case.

Gabriel lowered her arm as Alex backed away, not saying a word as the immortal asked a question that was bound not to get answered by her. There was no smirk on her face as he complained about hard work, instead the Officer waited for her new Captain to speak up, not feeling so easygoing to respond like she usually was.

The chaos caused in the Reaper by the new dosage of Aether made two separate ideologies clash, first one being her own, an anarchy tolerant  belief, and the second, more calculated and cold hearted one, being brought in along with the wave of energy that unlocked her armored form. Gabriel decided by the end of the immortal's monologue that there was no use of talking to the dead, summoning rock shards  that levitated in space around her.

Nova Wolfe

Nova smirked some and was about to make her first attack before she was stopped by Vail. She looked at the strange girl and watched closely at what she was about to do. Nova stepped back to give her room before the Demon went ahead and shot twoards Alec whom he grabbed and threw twoards them. Her fist instinct was to dodge the boy but instead she stayed and caught him in her arms, bringing him to a halt though throwing the both onto the floor. She pushed him off and ran twoards a wall, jumping and aiming her feet at it before causing a small explosion to boost herself at the demons side. She did this and aimed her sword at the demon, hoping to knock him away from Vail before he could attack.

Nanautzin just smirked as he watched the strings all around the room become visible and he realized that both he and Gruul had been trapped. All this time he had been trying to figure out the source of her power without any real progress. She just kept making more and more strings. He himself wasn't in any position to do anything about the strings but Gruul.... Gruul was a different story. Nanautzin had built Gruul with one thing in mind: Strength. Nanautzin just looked over to Gruul who still housed hundreds of mortal souls within him waiting for Nanautzin to take. In this instance Nanautzin wasn't want for power he had plenty of that. His issue was using that power in a way to defeat his enemy. " Gruul.... consume those souls and tear any strings you see." Nanautzin ordered.

Gruul was more than happy to act on the order. Consuming the souls for his own power gave Gruul more of a power boost than he realized. I stead of his muscles being torn by the strings his skin hardened and broke the strings that bound him. With an ear shattering roar Gruul began tearing down the strings, ripping apart any that he could reach.

Nanautzin would have to try out something... New. " Don't forget the ironclad rule of nature girl.... adapt or die." With that something very strange began happening to Nanautzin's body as a whole. His pores were turned into spikes and then in moment his entire body all but exploded sending the spikes in every direction, the point of the spikes easily tearing through the strings as they make their way through even the metal of the ship and just kept travelling. It made have seemed like a suicide attack by the demon, but it was far from that.The attack would severely damage the ship they were fighting in opening a sizable hole in the hull . The needle points of the spikes would allow him to cut past strings to attack his foe and each spike has enough genetic information to rebuild the demon. Case in point, the spikes that stop and don't make it into organic matter began to rebuild the body of the demon. As Acantha would no doubt notice as any spike that missed her would become a lesser copy of Nanautzin.

@Petroshka

(speaking of creativity lol. I'm basically using the idea of viruses propagating in a cell until the cell ruptures and releases the virus as an attack. Let me know if I need to explain further)

Some spikes made it through several layers of ships scattering the viral demon through the grand fleet. One spike traveled through a rather chaotic group fight involving his fellow demon William. @Destructus Kloud @Psychopath @Paranoid @Thetas

While several spikes shot through the void of space at Nanautzin's one time ally Alex he gravity immortal and his long time enemies the chemical and earth artificials. @Rurnur @Gabriel Forfax @Seraph Darkfire

The force of the gravitational energy hit William in the side, of which he was surprised at the speed of the girl and her attack. He slammed into the wall, making a large dent in it, however this didn't stop his tentacle, which kept arcing over to the third artificial furiously. William stepped out of the dent and shook his head, cracking his neck a little too far for a normal person at a 90 degree angle. So these mortal immortals had some fight in them at least. As the tentacle attempted to pierce the fire artificial, William sent a second toward the gravity artificial that had attacked him, aiming to whip it at her feet to knock her over, in which he would then try to wrap it around her and crush her to death. Throughout this, William also noticed the sound of tearing metal and faraway explosions. It was only until he saw the spike that he realised what had happened. Smiling faintly, he caught the spike as it flew by, the speed of it sending him back a metre as his feet dug small grooves into the metal floor. He then planted the spike into the ground and waited for something to happen, although knowing the virus demon, he wouldn't be surprised if this was one of his puppets, creations or even the demon itself.

@SleepyBuddha @Psychopath @Paranoid @Thetas (Oh you three and so gonna get it now xD )

Nova Wolfe

Nova too was quite surprised she had actually managed to hit the Demon, causing a sly smile to form.on her face. Though she wasnt prepared for what she was to do after causing her to slide to the ground. She quickly threw herself up and went to aim her blade at the Demon which caused her to boots twoards it, only to be hit by one of the tenticals. Causing her to flip Hart do the ground with a grunt, though she saw it attempt to wrap around herself and yelped, pushing herself back before the tentical could fully wrap and crush her. She flipped some and stood up before seeing a spike that the demon had stopped. She stared some with a confused look on her face before using her connection with her sword to raise it to arm length before charging, grabbing it, and shooting for the demons chest.

((Oh god... xD well then... Maybe we should wait for the other two to get on before continuing?))

After a few moments of the spike just sitting there the simple mind of the spike realized it wasn't in organic matter and activated its other function. The spike swelled turning into an incubator of sorts, comprised of the virus Damon's genetic material, that quickly created a copy of the demon which bursted out of the viral structure fully grown and just a bit sore.

/monthly_2016_08/Pestilence_Demon.jpg.9ac0a6e7d159f8e527f5f7d84be8378b.jpg

The demon stretched its wings and looked around confused for a moment before spotting his comrade William. " Ah.... seems one of me made it out to you William. Huh.... how far into the fleet are we?" The demon asked completely ignoring the artificials near him.  He knew they were there but didn't really consider them a threat yet. He needed some information on where he was before proceeded @Destructus Kloud @Psychopath @Paranoid @Thetas

Deflecting the spike by grabbing it and planting it into the ground again, William grinned as he saw Nanautzin emerge from the cocoon in his demon form, "Indeed. We are some way into the fleet. I believe this area is the part that borders the security halls and some kind of military barracks. The fake immortal's captain and officer are above us, fighting two other true immortals, and all we have are some younglings here. Speaking of which, how did your fight go with the string artificial? You needn't have retreated due to defeat, surely?" As he was talking, he lightly pushed the artificial back with the strength necessary to send her flying into the first artificial that had attacked him. The flesh demon was not playing too roughly with them for now, as he suspected Nanautzin would want to have some fun as well.

@SleepyBuddha @Psychopath (It's my understanding that you tried to stab me with the spike, right? Just confirming in case there was a misunderstanding) @Thetas @Paranoid

(Grand Fleet Structure:

The map below is a rough desciption of the Fleet's structure, however, keep in mind that the scale is very large. The Control Section and Residential Area may appear close to eachother, but that are actually several lightyears apart.

Outer rim - The Fleet is surrounded by the "Outer Rim" a series of smaller starships that create a powerful shield, protecting the bulk fleet. Each of these starships are protected by security personnel, and if these starships are destroyed, the shields will be disabled.

Main Gunships - In the front section of the ship, there is a series of large gunships, that are used for mining resources and destroying planets. These ships are manned by military personnel, and overseen by a handful of Sentinels.

Security Halls - This is the second layer of defense, where soldiers guard the inner sections, and prepare to engage in battle. It consists of smaller starships, connected by intricate bridge and elevator systems, to allow for easy transportation when enemies are detected, soldiers will be able to reach the security breach easily.

Military Barracks - This is where military training takes place, and where soldiers come to rest or do other forms of work. There are also a few civilians that do work here, such as gunsmiths and other forms of construction, related to military hardware.

Residential Area - The most protected area of the Grand Fleet, where civilians go about their daily lives.

Control Section - A series of highly advanced ships that are responsible for maintaining much of the Grand Fleet's technology.

Commands Ships - These are the personal ships of the Sentinels, the Grand Fleet's core engine is hidden within one of these ships.)

(I think we're on the lower left part of the security halls near the military barracks. If so, then it would make sense that @Seraph Darkfire had found a control ship and sensed that large energy source which is most likely the sentinels in the command ships. @Rurnur)

(Sounds good to me @Destructus Kloud. I haven't been purposely diving too far into the fleet anyway. Gruul would have gotten into the security halls, but he didn't get very far after all.)

Nanautzin thought for a moment. The clone was still gathering its memories. " I wouldn't say retreat no... I'm just trying out a new attack really. The string girl is giving me some trouble I won't lie, but between my creation and my new found numbers I should be able to defeat her without too much issue. Her creativity with her powers is the real issue." Nanautzin said watching the fledgling get thrown away. This brought his attention to the other two that were there as well. Looking between the girl and William Nanautzin asked, " Did she try to stab you with me?" He was honestly confused. How desperate was this girl to use something like that against William?

@Psychopath @Thetas @Paranoid

William laughed, "Ahahaha, yes... I wasn't too sure about the purpose behind that either. Still, who knows what effect it would have had on my body? I wouldn't be too pleased to have this perfect body... Altered, without my approval anyway." He glanced back to the trio with a smirk. What would they try next? What was their plan of action? So far they had decided to attack one at a time, perhaps they would attempt to work as a team this time? He glanced back to the viral demon, "So what do you intend to do. I can more than handle these three, but perhaps you would wish to enjoy yourself here first? I honestly don't mind, I've eaten a lot already." He grinned, thinking back to the first artificial he had consumed, the explosion making-one. Indeed he had come very close to killing him, but he had been weak back then. Now, something like that would never work. And then he remembered his second meal, the demon he had created that had turned on him. Indeed, he had helped the process along, with much help from Nanautzin of course, the other demon he had a hand in creating. But alas the foolish monster of a brute had torn him in half and allied with the officer artificial, so William had killed him and taken his soul as well. Although William had eaten much since his time on the grand fleet, he would not be satisfied until he achieved yet another new form. He reasoned that until he had eaten enough to ascend further than he already had, he would not withdraw or become passive. When he had successfully attained that, well, he didn't exactly know. Perhaps he would hire himself out to the immortals or artificials again, or maybe he found just go ahead and rule a few planets until he hungered again. He supposed he would cross that bridge when he got there.

Nova Wolfe

Nova flew back into Alec and shot him an apologetic look before jumping up at staring at the demons for a moment. They where just... Talking. She usually would have taken this as a chance to fight but she couldn't help but find it amusing, more so the fact that she had at first tried to use the other demon to attack whom she had learned was William. She quickly brought her sword to hand and leaned on it for a moment. She pulled out two throwing knifes and tossed them both at an alarming speed, and though they likely wouldn't do something it would likely get their attention. "Hey, William and his Comrade! Need a minute cause I can wait here if you want. I mean you two obviously have some catching up to do eh?" She said with a slight bit of humor. She pulled out her swords and twirled it around some, hoping that Vail and Alec would be able to join her soon. She mainly wanted to wait on them so she could get some help, if she didn't get it soon though she would likely be killed. And that wasn't on her bucket list until way later in life. At the moment though she was also prepared for another attack, she hadn't completely let her guard down.
