Grand Fleet

"Gabriel, wait!" Theon shouted as his subordinate chased down the powerful demon, before reaching down and unsheathing his blade. Although, before he had time to enter a fighting stance, he found himself being thrown across the room by a demon who's speed he had definately underestimated. He grimaced and attempted to slow himself down mid-air before being safely caught by Gabriel.

"Ah, it's fine. But he's right, he is too fast at this point. We'll need be a lot more coordinated if we ever want to stand a chance against him." He shook his head, quickly pulling out his handgun and firing off a couple rounds at William, while Gabriel attempted to pierce his legs with an earth attack. "If you could grab him, and let me start infecting him, maybe we can get somewhere." He said solemnly before suddenly being pulled out of the hallway by the vacuum.

As he clinged to the side of the ship, Theon shook his head as he came to terms with the energy levels around him. Tilting his head upwards, he spotted the two new sources that became noticeable upon exiting the ship. Immortals, huh? What are they planning? He squinted, watching them intently. Gripping his gun tightly, he pulled himself out into space and began floating upwards, keeping an eye on their movements.

@Whale@Seraph Darkfire

This was all very awkward for the demon just dangling there by his weapon. He was so sure that there weren't any strings and yet here he was. Even if she had prepared her strings the teeth in his weapon should have cut them so the only logical conclusion he can come up with is that the strings formed around his weapon. " it would appear your abilities are strong than I imagined." Nanautzin said slowly turned his weapon into viral energy in an attempt to do something in this situation. Not to mention that because of those vibrating strings he can't attack the strings themselves and most of his spores were gone. He would make his viruses more elastic this time. This way instead of being shredded by the vibrations they would vibrate as well there by increasing their chances of delivering the viral payload. This experience taught Nanautzin the value of adaptation. He needed to be prepared for the various abilities that these soldiers had.

Gruul grew closer to his master and could already feel something was off. His suspicion was confirmed when he rounded the corner and saw that his master was being surrounded by a strange structure and there was a girl toying with him. Gruul grunted and leapt towards Acantha from the complete other side of the room. Gruul roared and brought his full weight down on the strings as he landed on the ball and began tearing into it.

Alvis Bo

Drinking in the ideal plan given to her, Alvis pieced together back up plans for that cases of various hindrances. So far what she had heard from the Gravity Immortal was not tainted with a tenacious set back, but that did not stop the Air Immortal from preparing. Watching the man in front of her carefully, Alvis mirrored his cautious movements. It was wise to conserve energy as well as not draw attention to themselves. This blessed Alvis with the grateful feeling that she had not been paired with an Immortal who mantained the talent of, what many would call, a numb skull.

Once again Alvis admired the notes on the tablet he had given her. Although it was not much, she appreciated the information. Alvis preferred to know more about the war, rather than surge straight into battle. It seemed that the Immortal's sources were reliable on the Aether, yet questions had yet to be answered. Still the work in front of her was greatly appreciated. It gave her a more grounded feel in the war.

Again the Air Immortal rose her head to survey their surroundings. The rubble of destroyed ships drifted aimlessly around them. Which alluded to what the Gravity Immortal had spoken of, that there must have been a major decline in Soldier avalability if the two of them were able to congregate in open space. Being ready for any attacks was a must, for retaining this knowledge must not appeal to the Grand Fleet.

Alex looked thoughtful as he landed on a nearby ship and placed his hand against it. He closed his eyes and felt the vibrations of the ship before shaking his head and standing up. He frowned and pointed his finger at the ship and tore a hole through it before floating up and heading forward again "This is going to take a while" he said to Alvis. He was using his energy to make markings in the ship so he'd know that he'd already been there.

Alex scratched his chin "I wish that there was an easier way to do this" he placed his hands on the back of his head and sighed as he floated forward in a relaxed position. He really needed to relax.

Alvis Bo

Following the Gravity Immortal, she observed with a strange intensity as he marked the ship they halted by.

"This is going to take a while" The man spoke, catching Alvis's ears again. "I wish there was a better way to do this."

She watched as he moved to a more relaxed type of position. Her initial reaction was to calmly inform him that war was tough, but his comment provoked some thought. Perhaps there could be a more simple way of coming to the Aether. Eyes narrowing in deliberation, Alvis attempted to conjure a more reliable and resourcful way of searching for the Aether.

Alvis glanced back at the Grabity Immortal, and a memory slipped into her thought process.

"You spoke of how we would be able to sense it. Yeilding to the idea that it is this all powerful... substance." Alvis stated, confirmation not really needed. "If it was certainly that powerful, would we not be able to feel its presence right now?" The Air Immortal comtinued her though process allowed. Although still keeping some thoughts to her self. "So the Grand Fleet must have obtained the ability to muffle its presence, or we are searching in the wrong place."

Yet it would hinder the war and give an advantage to the Grand Fleet if they were wrong in the place they were searching. And with Alvis's limited knowledge of the Grand Fleet, the process of deduction could not assist.

"I cannot think of the place it would be.. but it must be well gaurded, but well hidden. Some where they wouldn't think we would look. But of course they would think of strategy, so hiding it in an obscure far place. But it would also need to be near for fighting purposes." Alvis continued to ramble. Knowing full well her though process would gain them no ground, as this was the fourth time she had combed through it.

"I am sorry I have not retained enough knowledge of the Grand Fleet to conclude where they would concider hiding the Aether." she spoke softly, her mind still in a chaotic mind race. Maybe if she took it from a different point.

"Just like nana- eh." Acantha was in a middle of commenting on Nanautzin's adaptation when a large creature of some sort slammed itself into Acantha's Strings. "What the?!" The beast was beginning tearing through and fast, she had to devise a plan. Maybe use her strings to keep it pinned down? No that would leave the old man unattended. Flee? No she was too close to get Nanautzin. Upon analyzing the Beast she noted that it was in deed a demon of some sort but no where near the amount of dark matter energies for it to look like that. A minion? A suplicant? Whose? She looked at Nanautzin and noted the similarities. "I see..." this though processs happened within a few seconds and Acantha had enough time to think of something.

The strings around Nanautzin started to shrink at a alarming rate, She would Crush Nanautzin and while using her strings to Avoid the beast. If the beast decided to strike Nanautzin's Cage she would simply throw the  virus immortal into the ceiling both accelarating the process and hopefully outbof the beasts reach. All the meanwhile the beast was getting tangled in unseen string fibers that were useless but if accumulated enough can form a cage of its own. I let my guard down this time, but never will i now.

Alex frowned "Well, we know some about them, that is better than nothing" he said. They were a militaristic society, Alex figured that they'd hide their power source nearest to their strongest member. Not exactly with them though, that would be too dangerous "It is possible that they have found a way to hide it's energy, or we could indeed be searching in the wrong place"

He looked thoughtful "Perhaps...perhaps it isn't the energy...maybe it is us? We are so used to feeling the energy from ourselves and other Immortals, that were looking for the wrong energy?" it was possible that Aether energy moved at a different frequency, like changing radio stations.

"The Aether we feel from the Artificial Immortals is concentrated into something they can use, culminating in their unique energy, making it similar to our own...but the actual Aether that isn't concentrated into an Immortal could be completely different"

@Whale

William grinned as he saw Theon leave the ship through the hole he had made in it. The flesh demon grinned more so when he saw two more immortals floating not too far away. Who would the fake immortal attack next? Will he continue his current fight or deal with the two real immortals apparently planning something? William thought he would go make things a little harder for the immortal mortal. With a crunching sound, he grew small wings from his back, leathery and thin. He had found that by dispersing the dark matter behind himself, it would act as a sort of rudimentary thruster, allowing him to move across the no-gravity space. Thankfully he had a great amount of the stuff and it didn't take much to pick up speed, and he had also found he could propel himself with even more force and less dark matter if he dispersed it out from his wings, using the particles it created to push himself forward. It was quite a niche way of travelling and he suspected all immortals and demons could do this, perhaps most not with the wings part, but it was better than nothing. Flapping his way over to the immortals, he stopped short of them by 10-15 metres and did an awkward half-bow whilst floating, "Greetings, I am William Rundell Haus Code, demon of flesh and otherwise known more famously as The Gentleman." He straightened up and raised his hands in a sign of peace, "Whilst I do intend to consume everything here, perhaps a temporary alliance will suffice? These fake immortals are becoming quite troublesome." He had made his pitch, he was happy enough with the situation. He had lost track of where Nanautzin had gotten to, but he should be fine. He could handle himself now that he had an armoured form. In fact- He stopped his thought process for a second as he realised he knew one of the immortals before him, "Oh, your one of the immortals I tried to consume! Haha, sorry about that. I was... Hangry?" He laughed for a moment as he was referring to the time he had nearly killed the air immortal, before glancing back at the artificial. Would he still attack when it was likely to be a 3 against 1 now? Or would he be wise and wait for back up?

After following the Immortal's movements briefly, Theon turned back to the hole in the ship and motioned for Gabriel to follow him. "Where's the demon? Come with me, we have more enemies nearby." He hissed towards her, before turning back to analyse the Immortals, but to his surprise, the demon he was searching for seemed to have approached the two Immortals. "Ah.. there he is, what's he trying to do? It's not like a demon to spend so much time talking, he sure has some roundabout ways of getting the souls he wants." Theon bit his lip, watching the situation unfold. What were the Immortal's plans? If they were naive enough to trust the demon, it'd surely spell the end for both them and Theon himself. He just had to hope they'd go their seperate ways, or even better, a conflict could arise.

@Gabriel Forfax

Nanautzin watched as the string dome began to shrink as Gruul tore his way through all the string. Nanautzin smiled, " Is that fear I smell little Acantha? Awww.... this didn't go the way you though it would did it?" Nanautzin said with a heartless laughter. Nanautzin dropped and with a single flap of his wings he was on top of Acantha his hand going for her throat only to be stopped by her strings.  The demon just exhaled once again put instead of the spore mist small spiders began crawling out of his maw and onto her. The spiders began biting as soon as they landed.

Gruul focused solely on getting his master out of the strange structure. Gruul just tore as quickly as possible until he finally saw his master. Shoving his arm into the hole he had made Gruul grabbed Nanautzin and pulled him out of the structure practically throwing his creator at the wall opposite of the structure.

Nanautzin slammed into the wall with zero grace, but at least he was out of the trap. He would need to be to be more careful with his emotions. Already preparing for the next fight Nanautzin began spreading his viral membrane across the wall.

@Petroshka

Gabriel finally let herself go from the indent in the wall she had been holding for, floating closer only to stop next to Theon. "We should attack them, specifically William. In case of them wanting to fight us they shouldn't be getting the upper hand", the Officer proposed and shortly explained the logic behind the idea, additionally proposing the second option "Or we could wait and hope that they'll turn one against another". One look over at the two Immortals, and Gabriel managed to recognize the air Immortal from before, the one the Officer ignored so blatantly while being focused on trapping Rundell. There was an another immortal floating leisurely besides the air controller, and it didn't take Gabriel more than a moment to recognize him. Without a second thought the Officer rushed into a fight and by using rock plates she moved quickly trough the vacuum, nearing the three with quite the admirable speed. Jumping from the last plate the Officer launched herself trough the space in between Rundell and the Air immortal, swinging her scythe down at the Gravity immortal, using all of the momentum and force available.

@Rurnur @Destructus Kloud @Whale @Seraph Darkfire

Unfortunately for Gabriel, fighting in the vacuum of space was far more fortuitous for Alex than it was for most others. His gravity could work freely and he needed to release only a small amount of energy to move in any direction. The gravity spheres around him pulsed and his body slid sideways, just out of the reach of the scythe before he turned and pointed his palm towards Gabriel "Earth Snake" he mumbled "Sorry, I really don't want to have to kill another one of you, go fight someone else" a strong repulsive force appeared with the sphere in his hand and pushed against Gabriel in an attempt to force her away.

He was aware of why she attacked him though. It was revenge, but he didn't care. He'd tried to get them to leave peacefully the last time they'd met. They'd refused and people had died.

Alvis Bo

Listening to the Gravity Immortal's proposition on where the Grand Fleet would preferrably hide the Aether, Alvis found herself agreeing. It did seem like the most probable option, where as the Grand Fleet in her eyes did possese qualities that would indeed influence the decision to keep it in a well gaurded place.

New issues and questions, but also ideas and answers filled her mind as the Gravity Immortal seemed to have reached a mental epiphany. His words barely seemex to keep up with his mind, yet Alvis felt the internal glow of a smile come along as the initial idea behind his ramblings shown through.

Before the Air Immortal could express her elation for the sudden realization, an almost overwhelming energy drew close to them, and her attention was ripped away from the conversation at hand. Alvis had expected the small group she had watched earlier to persue them, better later, but this soon made her muscles taut.

Although the Demon spoke of a minor alliance, Alvis regarded him through vigilant eyes.

William seemed to just recognize the Immortal, and laughed off their previous encounter. Stealing a quick glace at the Gravity Immortal she awaited his opinion of the situation. Prior to any amount of time that could have given the Immortal the time to form a response, one of the now confirmed artificial Immortals approached menacingly towards the group. Her eyes were briming with emotion as they were locked onto the figure that was allied with Alvis.

Stepping back Alvis respected the fact that the small battle in front of her was not for her to intervene.

The Gravity Immortal seemed to share the recognition of his opponents existance and calmly attempted to brush her away. Alvis studied the relationship and sanctioned it as a brief, and not too dainty of one. The Air Immortal concluded to observe the transaction unfold, until circumstamces would urge her to interven.

Time appeared to slow down for a moment, Theon's shock as Gabriel charged into a group of three hostile enemies, Gabriel's rage at the murderer of her old captain. "Gabriel!" He shouted, cursing the recklessness of his subordinate. "Stand down!" It forced Theon to move, and move he did, dashing after Gabriel and stopping to hover below the group of attackers, looking up at them, with his eyes focused on the demon's movements.

While Alex and Gabriel clashed briefly, Theon instead paid attention to the female Immortal who surprisingly, did not move to protect her ally. "Immortal!" He called out to her, trying to pull her attention towards him. "I know you come here in defense of mortals, but there is something about this place you may not fully understand.. " He glanced at the demon, hoping that he wouldn't do anything rash before Theon could finish. "We, the Grand Fleet, are simply trying to protect our own innocent civilians. This place is full of mortals, mortals that demons like this 'William' character have been shamelessly feeding on. Mortals that are no different from those who you aim to protect. So, what kind of guardian would it make you, if you only succeed in protecting the Mortals from your region? That's the purpose of Immortals, isn't it? Protecting the innocent? If so, then you'd do best to assist me, in removing this scum from the universe." Theon gripped his gun tightly, charging it up with energy and aiming it at William. "At the very least, don't let yourselves be manipulated by him, or you'll just end up as his next meal. Because, you know thats whats going through his mind when he sees you." He smiled, squeezing the trigger tighter and tighter every second.

“Do you really think you have the upper hand old man?” Acantha smiled at him, mot only did he rush at her without destroying many strings he was entangled, the only strings that were destroyed were by the beasts desparate slashing to save Nanautzin. Both beast and Nanatuzin were covered by invisible string. The passive strings that protected her formed a thin layer of string where the spiders bit, similar to kevlar. There were many things Acantha planned for, this was one of them. Nanautzin just brought himself to the epicenter of her string hive and every string in the room became visible. Lining the walls, randomly stretched out in the air, in between debris. The strings around Nanautzin and the beast did their best to hold them down while the strings from all around converged onto the three, was this a suicide attack? No, Acantha could simply break the strings into smaller threads before they hit her, a few strings formed harpoon like spikes careening down at The virus immortal. Acantha enaged the few strings around her to pull her away from The Old Man and his spiders at a speed that would've killed any mortal. The strings wouldnt just crush them, they would impale, cut, dismember, and all the while vibrating at over 80 gigahertz to make sure Nanautzin and any spores die.

Could Nanautzin somehow get out of this sotutation? There is a possiblity for anything, Acantha watched Nanautzin closely as she was being pulled away and strings came down on them like a ship imploding. Luckily the old man doesnt know my energy depends on my strings. She doubted he would realize this or even bother to attack the strings as there was so much. (Sorry for my late post! Job got me busy! <3 also this is starting to feel like a fight of creativity cx) @SleepyBuddha

William just raised his hands guiltily, "He's not wrong, that's exactly how it is." He grinned at Theon, unfazed by the gun he pointed at him, "But tell me, what do you think will happen if these mortals were to live? Much of the universe has already fallen victim to their merciless path of destruction. Millions of planets assimilated by their indifferent regime, all for the sake of self-preservation as they suck themselves dry to empower a select few to continue spreading death and destruction. This 'Guardian' over here is no different to me!" He laughed aloud, his wings flapping slightly, "Yes, they will soon descend onto those you seek to protect. And don't be fooled by their word to overlook your people. It is an empty promise." He said the last part bitterly, and then took on a look of mild confusion as if he was having trouble remembering something. William shook his head, a fresh smile on his face as he turned to the immortal, "Anyway, I promise not to try to consume you and your friend until these mortal cretins are destroyed. A Gentleman always keeps his word." He glanced back to the chemical faker with a grin. It wouldn't matter much whoever's side the immortal took anyway, William was already about four times stronger than either of them. The only reason he had even considered allying with the immortals was because he didn't want to have to eat everyone at once. He needed to rest and he wasn't too keen on indigestion. Besides, he wasn't a fool. If everyone present decided to attack him, they would actually have a decent chance at wounding him for real, however slim that chance was. He waited from a response from either person. He wasn't going to outright attack anyone right now, rather he felt more in the speculative mood. Indeed, it would be more interesting to see other fights and besides, he didn't want to have to unleash his armoured form again right now.

@Rurnur @Whale (You must pick a side, artificials or demons! xD  That includes Nanautzin you know ;) ) @Seraph Darkfire (Did you just forget that I was also there or too busy fighting? :P ) @Gabriel Forfax

((I was busy fighting. Sorry))

Alex sighed as he watched the events unfold around him "All Mortals should be protected, however, it is also true that we shouldn't interfere with their development directly" Alex believed in watching mortals and experiencing their lives. He also believed in not interfering with the planets of other Immortals "To me however, the people of the Grand Fleet are no better than Demons. They have no regard for those who live around them, only seeking to continue devouring everything to make themselves stronger"

Immortals were made from the sacrifice of an entire planet's worth of Mortal lives, it was only right for Alex to protect other Mortals with the power he'd received. He looked towards the Demon "At the same time however, there are still Mortals there, some who have already probably died from the constant fighting, I will not aid you in killing them"

He looked thoughtful before revolving his energy through his body and releasing it as a harmless pulse. He listened, feeling the energy traveling through the surrounding area. Deeper and deeper it went until he looked surprised 'What was that?' he thought 'My energy bounced off of every ship, but then it just vanished there. Something that absorbs energy?' he gave the Air Immortal a look, signalling that he'd found something.

He then turned back to the others, looking at the Chemical Immortal "If, however, your people were willing to retreat back to whence you came, I would be happy to aid in forcing the Demons away" the Demons were a cancer on everyone, however, they were a useful bargaining chip in getting the Artificial Immortals to leave. He still wanted a peaceful solution, but he wasn't above using dirty means.

Of course, his first plan was to steal their Aether energy. Even if he couldn't use it himself, he could keep the Grand Fleet from using it. If they couldn't make more Immortals, then they couldn't keep attacking.

@Destructus Kloud @Rurnur @Whale @Gabriel Forfax

Gabriel deflected the gravity attack with the body of her war scythe, looking at the Gravity immortal as he spoke, spite present in her look. "We're not willing to retreat", the Officer curtly responded, before continuing "that Demon has something that is rightfully mine, so no one will be getting near him, understood?". The Officer kept her look focused on the gravity controller as she spoke, ultimately deciding that syringe mattered more than her own certain death.

@Seraph Darkfire @Destructus Kloud

William shrugged and turned back to Theon, "Alright, well how about you fakers and I go kill these immortals then? I won't kill your people for a while and I get to eat these two when they die. But, you have to help me and the other demon here find the people they're protecting; we hunger. It's basically the same deal." He gave the man a sly smirk, "Well? It's basically free protection, it's not like you stand to lose anything." He smiled at Theon and Gabriel, his wings fluttering a little and a forked tail beginning to protrude from his lower back, flicking side to side. It didn't matter who's side he took, all that mattered was that he got to eat a few planet's worth of people or an immortal of some kind or two. He didn't exactly care who it was or how it would be achieved, so long as he attained what he was looking for, he cared not. The ally could be his worst enemy, William was, as usual, prepared to use most means necessary to win.

Alvis Bo

Eyes flickering between the two proportionate opponents in front of her, Alvis's mind persued the most preferrable option. On one side of her was a Demon, offering his assistance to both her and the Artificial Immortal, his intentions of chaos obvious in his speech. 'Until' was the strategic word so delicately placed in his short monologue in attempt to win her over. Yet additionally, the Demon grew impatient for her answer and turned to the Artificial Immortal.

His monologue repeated the Demon seemed to await an answer from either of them. Alvis knew that she would not win in the end if she attempted to join him, or fight against him and the Artificial Immortal.

It would seem joining him would grant her the better chance. But if she did indeed fight alongside the Demon, more clashes in the future were almost assured.

Perhapes the Artificial Immortal could be of assistance.

The Air Immortal had gained much information about her own species due to interacting with other immortals over the past month. And she could feel herself coming close to what many would concider an armoured form. Before her long encounter other immortals, Alvis had not retained much information about what she could be. Only what she was.

Although she had yet to gain her armoured form, she was still an older Immortal. Anything that could bring her a slight advantage was greatfully accepted.

Gaze finally resting on the Artificial Immortal she awaited his comment before she made her move.

(Apologies for my pretty abysmal or crummy posts. I don't know what's gotten into my writing. Its been pretty bad lately.)

Theon raised his gun, taking it's aim off of William for a moment, as he thought, listening to the words of his enemies. William of course being the most wordy in his response, quickly jumping onto Theon's suggestion to the Immortals. "As you can all see, this Demon is the real danger here. I know that all of you can feel it, that unfamiliar energy, he's been corrupted, sick, and that's all there is to it. Demons like this are nothing but a plague, even you two Immortals should be able to tell." He shot an intense glance at William himself. "You talk of us as the 'destructors' but the only reason we exist, is to stop your kind from eating the universe from the inside out. There needed to be something stronger than demons, and, unfortunately, so called 'natural' Immortals didn't cut it." Keeping his gun ready in the direction of William, Theon floated across towards Gabriel and Alex, hoping to snuff out Gabriel's thirst for combat before things escalated.

With relief, he noticed that Alex wasn't too eager to fight Gabriel, giving them a chance to rectify his subordinate's mistake. "Gabriel, stand down." He stated firmly, motioning for her to return to his side, while taking a mental note that they both desperately needed the syringe back from William. Alex however, seemed to have his own agenda, and appeared to be very set in this mindset. Theon shook his head at Alex dismissively. "You are misinformed. Perhaps Salegg wasn't the greatest spokesperson for the fleet, and nobody can blame you for misunderstanding. However, the Grand Fleet is only concerned with Mortal lives, and the eradication of Demons, no matter what form that takes. On the other hand, Demons seek only to devour the mortals you seek to protect. I must seriously doubt your true intentions, if you label us as your true enemies, while allowing a monstrosity like this to speak freely with you. Whether or not you aid the demon is irrelevant, simply allowing him to live and feast on mortals is an absolute failure as a protector. The Grand Fleet cannot retreat, the question is will you retreat from your duty to protect mortal lives?" Theon gripped his gun tightly, floating slightly back in the empty space. "Otherwise, what purpose do you serve? If you won't protect them, allow me to set them free" He looked into Alex's eyes sternly, smiling as he challenged his morals.

The female Immortal appeared to be indecisive, and he doubted that she would even ally with either side. Whatever the results of this conflict, they wouldn't be good for Theon and Gabriel. They just had to hope for reinforcements soon, and do their best to stop enemies from getting any deeper into the fleet.

@Gabriel Forfax@Whale@Destructus Kloud@Seraph Darkfire (Also no need to stress Whale, you're doing fine, just have fun!)

Alex grinned at Theon "I serve no purpose" he said "I just do what I want...or at least I am supposed to" he sighed as he ran a hand through his hair "I like Mortals, they are interesting and surprisingly resilient, no matter how many Immortals show up, the Mortals just keep growing" he stretched as he floated there "Honestly, I'm hoping that they eventually evolve to completely make Immortals obsolete, though not at the level were they'd rather create fake Immortals, I'd rather they take a different path"

"As for Salegg, I liked him, he was strong, though I didn't like his obvious disregard for the Mortal lives in order to slay both Immortals and Demons" Alex sighed "Demons often get themselves killed before they grow to powerful, and those that don't are smart enough not to interfere with the planets of other Immortals"

"Also, what is with that setting them free crap? Salegg said the same thing. Why can't you just leave them alone?In my opinion Immortals aren't supposed to interfere with the lives of Mortals to begin with. Our job is to preserve Balance. The Demon's jobs are to disrupt that Balance, that is the Balance of the Immortals."

"You guys though, you guys disrupt everything with the aim of ripping up the planets of the Mortals and turning them into usable resources. For the Mortals you don't kill, I'm assuming that they are assimilated into the Grand Fleet" he frowned "So, you are destroying their planet, killing their people, and also dissolving their culture"

Alex sighed "Besides, Demons eventually lose any available boost from eating Mortal souls. Their strength grows too great, to the point that the only satisfying thing is to consume Immortals, the Grand Fleet will never grow tired of it though, it'll just keep consuming and consuming until there is nothing but the Grand Fleet left, and you know what? Immortals and Demons will return"

"We are created through the sacrifice of Mortals and when we die, our energy is returned to the Universe" he grinned "Whether I protect these Mortals or protect my own, they will die and others will live, and eventually, they will live even beyond us beings who are Immortal" he shrugged "Honestly speaking, I could simply do nothing and let everyone fight until one or both sides are destroyed, but I happen to like the Mortals of the Red Zone, their culture is pleasant and different with each planet you go to" he'd spent so much time with Mortals that he appreciated their lifestyles.

He chuckled "I was even willing to simply give you the planets us Immortals came from. There is absolutely no life on those and their resources are most likely still there, however, there was no intention to negotiate further"

"Now that you are losing, you want to whine about whether or not we protect Mortals? If you say I fail as a protector, then what does that make you? Someone who would ask for help when all of this could have been avoided. You knew the direction of the Red Zone, most likely assumed we'd fight back, and yet you did nothing. You could have moved your Mortals to other ships out of our reach, you could have properly negotiated with us an avoided all of this fighting," he shook his head "I've seen Mortals fight and die for what they believe in, seen them commit great acts of evil and good"

"Whether they die or live is of no consequence to me, but I will not let you destroy what they are!" the gravity of the area rippled and pulled towards him. He'd seen many Mortals die, and he'd protect them if he had the time. But he was also placed in a pretty bad place. If he fought off the Demons to protect the Mortals, the Artificial Immortals would happily strike at their back. However, there were more Immortals that Demons, even if he didn't help the Demons, they'd still be able to fight back or run away if it came to dealing with them.

If the Artificial Immortals agreed to negotiate, then Alex was sure that their military honor would force them to honor their deal. If they'd intended to lie to him, they would have agreed from the beginning, but they fiercely held on to their goals and refused.

((I am sorry if none of this makes sense :P  I might even be contradictory to myself here, but I feel good about it.))

Alec held his standard-issue rifle, his back to a wall, the rifle pressed against his chest. He'd ran ahead of his team to assess the situation, unbeknownst to them, who, from what he'd heard, were still getting ready in the armory. He wanted first-hand knowledge of the situation, and this was the only way he could see it happening. He didn't quite want to ditch the rifle yet, assuming it could be useful in his enterance.

Alec was sweating like crazy, having already taken his head gear/wrap off to relieve himself of the heat. It was a pretty long run from the armory to... Wherever it was that the fighting was happening. Not to mention that he was grossly unprepared for any form of action. He'd barely crawled out of bed that morning.

Nonetheless, he was there. He'd only just arrived, so everything was kind of a blur to him. To his knowledge, there was 5 people around the corner he was leaning against. 2 Artificials, a Demon, and 2 Immortals. It was a pretty even confrontation, considering the strength of the demon... Normally he'd wait for his team, meaning that the fight would quickly turn in their favor, supposedly, but he didn't know how much time he had. He just had to hold his faith that the Artificials could keep everyone calm... He didn't plan on dying today.

@Whale

((Sorry for the abrupt introduction.. I was getting a little impatient waiting for my partners. If I got any information wrong, don't hesitate to point it out ^-^))

((I won't make another post until you guys are ready, unless one of them interacts with me ^-^ Promise))

"Hmm, well it seems negotiations have broken down then. You two can feel free to fight or talk or whatever it is you want to do then, but I have mortals to eat." He turned away from them and with a flap of his wings, flew back to the large hull of the fleet, walking along the outside cheerfully. Before he left, he had turned and winked at Theon, "Coming?" He had said coyly before leaving. It would be up to the artificial to decide whether he wanted to continue his talk or stop him, and even then it would take more than just him to defeat William. As the flesh demon strolled across the hull, his ears pricked as he noticed something. Another energy sign, different to those that he had already met and different to Nanautzin. Another artificial? He sighed, maybe this fake immortal man would have a chance if this newbie helped him. Even so, William was not fazed by this; he would unleash his armoured form if he had to, he was tired of constantly being hindered by these fake imitations of greater beings. Next there'll be artificial demons! Shaking his head, he tore a hole open roughly near where he thought the source came from and peered in with a madly mischievous grin.

Alec's breathing because spastic as he heard footsteps gradually getting louder on the other side of the wall. His mind was racing with possibilities. Didn't the demon say he was leaving? He must've.. Alec could've sworn he'd heard him say it. I must be imagining things... He thought, as the footsteps got louder. He slowly began walking forward, turning around to face the wall.

The boy screamed, his finger slipping onto the trigger of his rifle, spraying into where he saw the movement. His scream continued till his clip was gone. Without letting up on the newly made hole, he began backing away as quickly as he could, his eyes wide. Once his clip was gone, he gave up on the rifle, throwing it at the whole and swapping it for his Cutlass, pressing a button on the hilt that released the center, revealing a knife, which he flipped into the air. He caught the dagger in his free hand, and got into a fighting stance, ready to make the first move. It was obvious that he was freaking out.
