Grand Fleet

Theon kicked open a door to where the demons had been briefly held up, holding his gun at the large, menacing beast that he came across. Well, this had to be the newly awakened demon that Gabriel failed to destroy. His eyes darting across the room, coming to the conclusion that Gabriel and the other enemies had fled the scene. "I'll hold this one off then, Acantha. Quick, after your target!" He shouted back at her, before advancing on his new target. Theon's hands shook as he held the weapon tightly, aimed at the demon's core. It was far more animalistic than other demons he had come up against, and had an extrememly intimidating soul. Could he really hold back this creature by himself? He thought before quickly removing all doubts from his mind. This was his duty. Theon watched the creatures movements, prepared to counter attack if he made a move against Acantha.

@Petroshka@Archene@shadowz1995

Gabriel chuckled as Theon was taking the role of a leader once again, the Officer shortly explained to the captain the state of the situation. "Plans changed", she informed Theon, hanging up and frowning as she felt the captain and Acantha's footsteps only a few hallways away, accompanied by someone else, an Immortal judging by its energy.

Seems like I wasn't the only one avoiding orders, Gabriel thought, retracing Theon's words back in her mind and remembering that the captain surely won't have so much understanding for the newborn demon. "Follow me.", the Officer ordered now, not giving the metal controlling demon a chance to choose. Forfax then glanced at the floor. Just like William, Gabriel thought that she could reduce herself to dust and go after the demon,and Forfax was also certain that liquid metal could do pretty much the same,it will be much more stealthy than destroying the flooring bellow us. Out of respect for the virus demon she now recognized as mister Nanautzin, Forfax let him let him leave without a word. Finding Rundell and keeping Crimson out of Theon's reach was her main concern. The Officer inhaled, focusing the previously stored energy in her hands to try and mimic what the flesh demon did, only to slightly gasp in amazement as the tip of her fingers dissolved into sand, that got carried away as she exhaled. Gabriel glanced at Crimson before the solid figure of the young soldier suddenly turned into sand, it seeping trough the cracks in the flooring and gushing like a sandstorm towards the source of William's energy.

William sighed. That stupid rock woman thing was coming after him again, he could feel her energy moving towards him. He shook his head disappointedly as he withdrew his finger from the human's heart, a needle of bone protruding from it. It seemed it was possible to extract energy from the soul with destroying it, but he just didn't possess the finesse to allow him to be careful enough to not destroy the soul. He wasn't used to being delicate with humans. Throwing the lifeless mortal away, he began observing the syringe of soul that he now possessed. He could drink it, there was nothing suggesting it wouldn't just make him more powerful. But he had other ideas... William grinned as he finished tampering with syringe before tucking it back into his inner breast pocket. Bluffs and double bluffs, if there was anything William Rundell Haus Code was good at, it was definitely psychological warfare. He smiled, brushing himself off and began to wait for the immortal. He had consumed a good number of human souls during his experiments to feel as though he had fully recovered from his last fight, namely the time he was literally ripped in half by his new kinsmen, but no matter. That demon would soon see that those humans could not be trusted.

@Gabriel Forfax

When Fellos went to respond to the officer, no words left his throat. The sound that did leave his throat was a growl that was far from mortal. He tried again and was once again trumped by the low rumble in the center of his chest. I lost my ability to speak? He wondered to himself. Maybe it wasn't that he lost it but actually forgot how. With this new form, everything was so damn different that Fellos would need to somehow find time to fully adjust to the new power. The new demon decided to answer with a nod instead and proceeded to liquefy himself. Crimson was thoroughly surprised with how easy this came to him now. Apparently, his raw power wasn't the only thing that had increased exponentially. His control over metal did as well.

After mere moments, the liquid metal converged into itself and started forming a humanoid shape once again. He had reached the floor William was on and Crimson felt the energy of several others directly above him. He had apparently escaped just in time. That wouldn't have been a pretty altercation. As the liquid form solidified, Fellos became aware that William was standing before him and waiting for the unlikely duo to materialize. How kind of you he thought to himself. The wild looking demon flexed his hands a few times, drawing loud pops from the carpals within. The demon's hunger was rising with every second that passed and it demanded to be sated.

@Gabriel Forfax @Rurnur @Destructus Kloud

William 'tsked' in annoyance as he saw the demon materialise along with the immortal. Since when was it a thing that demons and immortals allied together? Shaking his head slowly, he then bowed fancifully at them, "Welcome. It seems you two have an uncanny ability to pursue like two flies to a fruit." He straightened up, grinning, "Still, I fail to understand why a demon such as yourself doesn't devour this hardy lady over here. Surely you don't not harbour feelings to her?" He leaned in with a smile, eyebrow cocked coyly. Without waiting for an answer, he leaned back, chuckling, "Well you are a matter for another day. The main issue here is you." He looked at the immortal and pulled out the syringe from his pocket, "I assume this is what you are looking for, no?" Grinning again, he returned the glass tube back to his pocket. William spread his arms grandly, "Then come! But know that you face William Rundell Haus Code, The Gentleman!"

Acantha's strings shot out into the room giving her a almost perfect map without having to look around. She then threw a few strings at nanautzin three needle-like strings peering down on him, it wasnt to harm him of course they were made to make him fall back into a trap. The entire room was almost filled with strings passivly waiting her command. If Acantha was too late Nanautzin might notice and avoid it, Perhaps this is the time to go on full offense? She leaped into the air strings letting her fly about and stopped near Nanautzin. "hey there old man!" She waved at the Virus demon practically sitting on her strings keeping her in the air and away from his clutches.

@SleepyBuddha

With his new body in enhanced physical prowess Nanautzin was able to dodge the threads with minimal movement. The newly demonized Nanautzin looked at the girl that called him an old man in confusion. From what he could tell of his own face he didn't particularly have a visible age as his face wasn't exactly human anymore. Nanautzin watched her from afar wary of her power over what seemed to be strings. " What do you want morsel? I've no intention of being drawn into a battlefield of your choosing. " As he said that Nanautzin was thinking on how he could keep track of and counter these strings. Keeping his wings close to his back Nanautzin took his weapon from his shoulder and let it hit the ground unhindered. The weight of his weapon dented the metal floor with ease, but this was merely a ploy to buy him time.

Coming up with an idea Nanautzin breathed in deeply on on the exhale released millions of tiny viral spores into the air that looked like a mist. The viral spores stuck to the first things they hit, being strings, and made her network plainly visible as more spores clumped together forming a network of energy all their own. The virus now covering the strings began trying to get inside the strings to get at the energy inside them. Once the virus was inside they could infect the host a lot easier.

" Why do you pursue me? Did you know me in the past?" The viral demon asked resting his hands on his weapon.

Before his eyes, the large beast seemed to lose it's form, transforming into some form of liquid? It was difficult to get a reading on the creature's power, but not before Theon was able to squeeze his trigger, firing a couple rounds of highly concentrated chemical energy into the demon's soul, with the intention of slowing his escape. "Be careful, Acantha!" Theon shouted before slamming his foot into the floor, using his chemicals to melt away at the metal beneath him, before he dropped down through the tunnel he had created.

With a loud clang, Theon landed down behind Gabriel and the new demon, while his chemicals hissed above him, melting the metal flooring. "You should've waited for us before taking on two demons, Gabriel. But looks like things have evened up now." Theon said while brushing himself off, quickly holstering his pistol, and instead drew his blade. He smiled, thrusting his newly chemical-coated blade deep into Fellos' back. "Ah, there we go. Now, help me finish him off, Gabriel!" He said to her under clenched teeth.

Acantha imediately felt what the virus demon was doing and the strings soon broke into even smaller strands. She had devised a plan of this sort after witnessing her strings be compromised in an eariler fight. Now the strings were so small that they quite literally could end up in the quantum realm. "Nice try old man" her smile grew but she wasnt done. Judgeming from Nana's confusion from her words and how he didnt seem to recognize her he had lost his memory. Was this a side effect of demonization? Perhaps, she wondered if she could mess with his mind and possibly get him to attack the other demons. "Oh Nanautzin? Forgot me already? Forgot about the tournament? The Parn? " the billions of tiny strings started to reform after the attempt to confuse Nanautzin and they slowly made their way toward him

@SleepyBuddha

Gabriel looked away as Theon buried his blade into Crimson's back, concealing her anger as she felt the newborn demon's energy dissolving and ceasing to exist. On impulse, the Officer thought of something that would surely result in her suspension, punching your superior is never a good idea , but instead she decided to redirect her intent to the flesh demon standing before them. "Hey, William, want to try that 'one punch thing' now?" Forfax asked, looking at Rundell before approaching him casually like the last time. She hoped that Theon at least had some trust in her to let her see this trough.

@Rurnur @Destructus Kloud

Things were getting worse, better and then worse again. William was not liking how things were turning out. The demon he had helped create was now prepared to attack him along with the immortal, and then another fake immortal showed up, but it attacked the demon. One less enemy, but one less potential ally. Still, William was not about to let him go to waste. He shot forth a tentacle that pierced into the new demon's chest and pulled out its heart, along with most its soul. William grinned at Acantha as the mouth on his chest consumed the soul, "If you wish. However I don't think you shall achieve much now." He could feel the power fusing with his soul, he felt it coursing through his veins. So what if it was canibilsation? A soul was a soul and the dark matter in this one would only serve to empower him. Better to not waste what was already wasting away.

@Rurnur @Gabriel Forfax

If Nanautzin had eyebrows he would be raising them right now. Tournament? What tournament? He had never participated in a tournament before. It was safe to assume that this girl knew him before his transformation into the being that he is now. However that word: Parn... there was something familiar about it. Without breaking eye contact Nanautzin tried to remember what it was. Then a voice whispered to his in the back of his mind, " My children...." Nanautzin said softly as he vaguely remembered them.

His virus was already beginning an attack of its own. As the strings shrank to untraceable levels the virus rewrote itself and went on the offensive. The spores returned to their individual selves, reverting to that gas like appearance and rolled towards Acantha. Of course there were enough viral spores to cover the room but the objective wasthe girl.

@Petroshka

Theon breathed heavily as he pushed waves of chemical energy into the stunned demon's soul, allowing the liquid to eat away at it's shell, when suddenly the soul was ripped out by an incredibly powerful attack. "Ah.. of course, demons certainly are resourceful, aren't they? Energy has to go somewhere.." Theon shook his head, sliding his blade out of the demon's corpse and allowing it to dissipate in the air around them. "One down, but.. at least we can focus our attention now, right Gabriel?" He looked over at her, attempting to communicate? "Gabriel! Be careful, he's a lot stronger now." Theon hissed before drawing his gun on William. "So, you think you can take both of us on, with all that new power? What's the bet?"

@Destructus Kloud@Gabriel Forfax

"Well, 'The bet', as you call it, is that you can't take on what you can't touch. There will be no fighting today, only slaughter by the hand of William Rundell Haus Code." He closed his eyes, focusing the new power. Speed. He needed to be faster to defeat these people, not stronger. William had decided that simply rushing in and soaking up whatever damage came his way would only result in a war of attrition again, something that this fake chemical immortal had already skin advantage of. No, to win he would simply dodge whatever they could throw at him and strike whenever he saw fit. A deadly dance of death, they would engage in. He altered his body tissue to make it more flexible and reactive to commands, making his nerves and synapses more conductive of the electromagnetic signals his brain would send. Yes, his brain. There was more work to be done. William needed skill as well, not just physical advantage. He poured some of the new soul energy into his brain, improving his reflexes, perception and decision-making skills, as well as making sure to improve all of his senses. He could smell the immortals, they stench skin to factory made leather footwear, the very skin stinking of it. He could hear them with the utmost accuracy, each little breath, the beat of their hearts, the roar of their blood coursing through their veins. He could see them, being able to make out each and every detail of their face and body, analysing every inch of them. He could also taste their air. It tasted of chemicals, rich and already burning with an acrid sensation. It was honestly quite unpleasant to his new sensory hub of input for information. Still, he felt it was necessary for the upcoming conflict. Lastly, he could feel the vibrations in the floor. The ground was tempered into a concentrated steel, much like all ships, it was metal upon metal built to house billions. The floor vibrated near the rock immortal, a seemingly connected energy emanating from her, affecting where she stood. Perhaps a side effect of her specific area of control? Most immortal beings had one, as he had over his. He had used his Mind Over Matter ability to alter his body as a flesh demon, just as he assumed this fake rock immortal would have used some ability to create those snakes of stone. William opened his eyes, grinning back at them, arms open in a more relaxed stance, "There is nothing more to say. Have at thee." And still with that infuriating grin he smiled at them, silently daring them to come forth in the very face of death. Although he made no obvious effort, he knew the energy coming off of him must be immense, at least triple that of your average demon or immortal now. Truly, he was on the brink of further ascending past even his armoured form. Speaking of whoch, it had been some time since he had last unleashed it. Perhaps now was a suitable time? He chuckled to himself. Even Nanautzin would be further impressed by what he had achieved. And yet there were still more souls he had yet to consume. Although the flesh demon did, if only for a moment, feel that his hunger was actually satiated and he no longer craved souls. He shook the feeling off, not yet, not yet. He would rest soon, but not yet.

Alvis Bo

The futile attempts at finding other immortals exasperated Alvis as she continued to wander near the ships. Their progress had slowed, which left her pondering how far she and the other immortals were on this mission. Attentive eyes surveyed the surrounding wreckage and the impending ships. The air immortal's insides churned as she still saw no sign of other immortals near. Distant battles raged, yet it seemed she did not come any close to interacting with any life. Much chaos seemed to be emitting from a single place, the overwhelming presence of darkness seemed to rule the place as Alvis found where to head.

Speeding towards the ship steeled her heart as she prepared to indulge herself in battle. Alvis only pondered whether she did have any allies in that battle. For all she could discern, it could be a Demon and the Red Fleet in a fighting stance. And bringing herself there could only worsen her chances. But then again chances were all war was built on. Wars depended on strategies, and strategies depended on chances. A small threat she seemed to be, the Air Immortal alighted upon the ship, staring down into one of its holds, where she recognized a demon, his energy being the one that attracted her. Alongside the imposing presence were two other figures, one she recognized to have immortal powers, Whether it was one of the 'Artificial Immortals' she had heard of, she was unsure. But that could be determined with time. The other was a man, whether he was an immortal or artificial she still could not discern.

So the Air Immortal resolved her predicament by making a decision to await above to see if her help was necessary.

Acantha saw the spores coming after her, perfect, once they were in a concentrated spot the nanostrings will reform and vibrate the very space the spores were in killing off most of them. in the meanwhile Acantha simply backed up further and used two or three rope-like strings thrashing at Nanautzin and breaking apart again to be undetectable. Not like they were going to do anything, she just wanted to keep him busy. "Darn i can only use so many strings" She said under her breath enough so that Nanautzin can hear. hopefully he will take that bait and come after her. She might not be all that skilled in fighting but all that can be compensated with smarts and deception. Stoic smile in play making it impossible to read her expression she stared down at the Virus demon. "I wonder what the Parn are enduring right now if you're so lost to corruption. are there any left? Did your new form take over and ate them all?" She loved mind games and she isnt above using anything at her disposal.

@SleepyBuddha

Nanautzin was becoming quite irritated at this girl. What did she know of the Parn? It was he who raised them from nothing more than a single cell. How dare she question the motives Nanautzin had for his children. With a flap of his wings Nanautzin appeared a little above Acantha and brought his weapon down on top of her head. Any strings that guarded her would have been snapped in two by the sharp teeth on Nanautzin's weapon, but depending on how fast she was that would be all the time Acantha needed. The spores were acting under Nanautzin's influence as well, beginning to clump together to form viral spikes that would launch at Acantha either striking her and infecting her or at least preventing a surprise attack. At least that was what the demon thought.

Gruul had made some mistakes. Over the course of receiving his orders from his creator he had lost all of the zombies under his control to these pesky soldiers. However Gruul kept pushing on, crushing the weaker soldiers and absorbing their souls. Not at the limit of his capacity Gruul needed to find his master and give him these souls. Sniffing about Gruul began making his way back through the labyrinth of the grand fleet in an effort to find his creator.

Gabriel sighed as she noticed that William was ready for a fight, Forfax not having the intention of running for her life. She needed that syringe, and the Officer made the task of retrieving it and covering Theon only things that she should be focusing on right now, any amount of damage taken to fulfill that don't matter. With that, the Officer rose her right leg from the flooring, focusing aether in it before stomping down on the metal floor. This released her energy into the tiling bellow them, it spreading across the walls and ceiling as well, covering every surface surrounding the three with a thick layer of stone. As if on cue the serpents started emerging from the newly created terrain, one overlapping another as they acted with their own will, some of them hurling to confront Rundell head on. Gabriel dashed forward towards William, sliding in between the  snake emerging from the wall and over the one spread across the ground, recreating the war scythe in her hand and swinging it towards the demon, the space around him being confined by all of the stone monsters.

@Destructus Kloud

William hopped up slightly so that his feet was not encased in stone. He saw several snakes of stone furiously slithering across the rock towards him, and then noticed the immortal was suddenly before him, slicing that scythe at his face again. He a smirk he ducked backwards with minimal movement, the blade barely missing him. However a stone snake had also come out of the ground before him and he was surrounded by many more as well as the immortal herself. William internally sighed in slight annoyance, he had wanted to avoid using his speed or strength too much as an example of the difference in skill between himself and the immortals, but perhaps he would have to a little. Planting a foot on the snake behind him, William rocketed himself forward and spun head first at the immortal. He held his arms and legs straight behind himself to make himself thinner and in a burst sped through the immortal's legs like an arrow, the snake behind him exploding. The demon then flipped and landed, making deep ruts in the stone as he slid to a stop in front of Theon, who had just pulled his sword out of the now dead demon, "You should discipline insubordinate subordinates." With another grin he picked the chemical fake by the the sword arm and threw him at Gabriel, the immortal being flying at high speed from the strength of the throw. There, that should show them that he was way too far out of their league to be dealt with. He laughed aloud, and he hadn't even needed to use his powers!

@Gabriel Forfax @Rurnur (Given that Gabriel had attacked me so quickly and then I got over to you just as quickly. I would assume that you would have only had time to take your blade out, which I would also assume is what you would do. :3 #godmoddingtherightwayjkjk)

Gabriel frowned and turned around as William had gotten away, only to wind up catching Theon and almost falling over from the force of the throw. The Officer lowered Theon down, looking over at him. "Captain, are you hurt?", she asked, looking back at the smiling flesh demon. Sighing, Gabriel rose her hand up, stone spikes rupturing from the ground right under William's feet and from every direction, attacking him even as he moved. The serpents had gathered up and waited for the next order, while keeping still behind their master as she attacked from a distance. Stone might not be as strong as metal or enhanced bone, but its true power lies in it being so versatile and easy on one's energy. Earth is not mere dust and rock, there are many minerals and metals occupying it that the Officer could use with more energy drain. Instead of using the heavy metals upon creating her every minion, she specialized into luring her enemy in by using rock attacks, only to surprise with something far stronger. She didn't take William as being the type to easily get scared, but it was sure that spikes with diamond tips will throw him off at least slightly.

Acantha simply smiled as the old man's weapon came down on her everything seemed to have slowed down. Strings formed wrapping themselves around it and slowing it down while strings all around formed encasing the two in a sort of ball while mid air. "You should be more careful around spiders." Suddenly every string vibrated at such a speed the very space around them seemed to have distorted. All the while Acantha quickly jolted away. He fell for the bait, now did he survive? Acantha looked about for any viral spores that might have been outside the space distortion. Luckily she couldnt see any, unbeknownst to her something was approaching.

@SleepyBuddha

William's heightened sensed only barely registered the vibrations in the floor as the spikes rose up to pierce him. Thankfully, vibrations travelled faster than physical matter and William could travel faster than both. His instincts took over for a moment as he skipped out of the way, spikes following him across the floor with gleaming tips. William continued his odd dance of stepping out of the way of the spikes until the entire floor just decided to become spiky. William frowned as he looked down to see the spikes had speared his legs pretty thoroughly. Sighing, he grew two new legs and stepped away from the two impaled ones, which just crumbled to nothing. William glanced over at the earth artificial, "So stone is not the only area of your influence then? Fine, but you forget your place. We are not on a planet, there is no earth here. No, we a furthest from a planet right here. Look, I'll show you:" He  shot forth a large tentacles at high speed that intentionally only just missed the immortal regardless of whether she tried to defend herself, and kept going past her until it latched onto the wall behind. Teeth dug into the metal and the tentacle ripped the wall away, revealing nothing but black space. The vacuum sucked them outside, along with all air in the room. William laughed as he was dragged out into the vacuum, latching another tentacle to the outside of the to ensure he didn't just float away. He watched for the two artificials for when they came out as well, assuming they had tried to hold on. Either way, it mattered not. Either they would follow and he would have the advantage of a favourable battlefield, or they would not follow and he would be free to consume more souls. He patted his pocket, remembering the syringe in his pocket. The flesh demon had forgotten about that. Still, she had to earn it back, he wouldn't just give it to the earth fake.

@Rurnur @Gabriel Forfax

Alex's fingers tapped on a computer console. A little tinkering and he'd been able to get into the systems a little bit. It was hard to do. The strange energy source known as Aether wasn't on this ship, at least it's source wasn't. These immortals seemed to completely rely on this energy. If this was how they got their powers, he wondered if he could augment his own strength with this energy. However, he wasn't sure if it would be compatible with his own Gravity energy. At most, he could probably boost himself to a new level of strength, at least...he explodes.

He nodded "Well, couldn't hurt to try" he had a few ideas for this Aether energy. He pointed his hand above him and a hole appeared in the ship's hull before he revolved the gravity spheres around himself and flew out. He paused when he left the ship, noticing that he'd appeared next to a woman. He looked thoughtful but he couldn't remember if she'd told him her name. However, he did know that she had joined them.

"Hello" he transmitted his voice through the vacuum of space "Since the others seem to be keeping the Artificial Immortals busy, would you mind helping me?" he tossed her a data pad with the Aether information he'd gathered.

Alvis Bo

Alvis's gaze was held, the battle below her gaining all visual attention. The goal she desired aimed for the knowledge of what the fighting figures were below her. Whether they be Immortal, or Artificial Immortal. For sure she could conclude that they were not Demons, for the one Demon in the Hold had an overpowering presence, as do all Demons. And if the other two were Demons they also would have the air of evil.

The Air Immortal's attention was ripped as a hole appeared the tiniest bit further along the ship's hull. A man emerged, enclosed in spheres of what seemed to be gravity. Alvis was silent as he took notice of her, and her surprise and tautness wore down. His face was one she recognized, although his name escaped her. A voice emitted from what seemed to be everywhere, and Alvis acknowledged the voice as his.

"Hello. Since the others seem to be keeping the Artificial Immortals busy, would you mind helping me?"

The Air Immortal regarded the Gravity Immortal in front of her, thinking of her past experiences with him. All were well, as he seemed to have a major role in the destruction of the Grand Fleet. Her hands retained the Tablet he had thrown at her. Alvis skimmed over it and her eyes grew the slightest bit at the knew knowledge of Aether. Her gaze returned quickly to the man in front of her, and the slightest of smiles surfaced on her face.

"I will assist." Alvis returned her voice. "Where will we head initially?"

"Deeper into the Fleet" Alex said "The central ships should hold the Aether" he nodded towards the battle "This is the best time to get there as well, if they had enough people to stop us, we wouldn't be talking right now"

"Once we get closer, it should be relatively easy to find, the energy the Aether gives off shouldn't be too hard to miss" he looked thoughtful. He wasn't too sure where exactly the Aether was, the information he'd found wasn't very specific.

The spheres spun around him as he began to move forward. He refrained from returning to his armored form to conserve his energy. He also projected less energy, making it harder to notice him.
