Grand Fleet

Cynthia was caught off guard when she was flung off down into space, but wasn't surprised. Most cowards would try to get rid of their opponent before running away. A trampoline of slime was formed and bounced her back onto the ship before Cynthia was far too deep in space to know her surroundings. As she ricocheted back to the ship, she made another patch of slime to break her fall. By the time she had returned back to where she was there was no sign of Acantha or William. Quickly checking her map, there was no dots near her to show that the Demon was still nearby; but Cynthia doubted that the flesh Demon could disappear so quickly. She could still see herself on her map while far out in space and William would've showed up as well. And so the captain set off to find the 'Gentleman' with her reinforced soul armour glittering and razor swords gleaming. Flying off into space at high speed does wonders at getting rid of dust.

@Destructus Kloud

Hmm? What was this? The armoured immortal had decided to follow him? William smirked but stayed hidden, putting great effort into sealing all signs of his soul with his Heart Carapace to conceal it. He had recently found it made an excellent barrier for both stopping stuff getting in and getting out, meaning the signs of a powerful soul should be considerably dampened. He suspected that if one was to come nearby to him then they would notice, but by then, well...

The immortal was still someways off to the side of him though and flew ahead, missing him by a large margin. Good, that meant he was free to move more easily. His body parted as he walked through a metal mesh hate and reformed just as easily as he entered the corridor. He noticed that this area of the ship had avoided damage. He opened a room and found several humans cowering in fear at the sound of the many explosions and hull vibrations. William grinned, "Hello, hello! It is my honour to meet you all! I am none other than William Rundell Haus Code, The Gentlemen in all respects, more commonly known as most likely the only demon to control the horrors of the flesh!" He laughed as he waved his hand dramatically and spun gracefully, his grandeur and manner seemingly making a few feel overwhelmed. When the words finally sunk in their eyes grew with terror and a few back up. William smiled, "No, no, that won't do. You must greet a guest properly, show him around, perhaps offer him a drink and some snacks?" He said the last part savagely as he seemed to stab his arm forward and a multitude of tentacles shot forth, piercing those that back away and sucking the dry, before growing jaws and unhinging them, to which they then began to consume the humans in a manner very reminiscent to a snake. William sighed, "Now that is divine." He looked at the rest of them, "Snacks are filling, but I prefer something more, perhaps an appetiser? Come here-" again, his voice distorted as the mouth on his chest opened up and seemed to breath in heavily for a largely prolonged moment. The remaining humans felt a surprisingly powerful gale as they were sucked in and consumed. William placed a hand in his head-orientated mouth with mock embarrassment, "Why, excuse me. My table manners must not be up to scratch." He then sifted around and found a uniform tucked away in a locker, "Now that will do..." He purred, donning it. It was a size to big, but he easily adjusted his body to fit it.

"Now... Onto business!" With his body clothes and his true nature concealed from others, William made his way through the ship in search of a large concentration of souls. Somewhere residential, or where a large group of people would meet up. He had even taken the liberty of changing his face into one of the humans he had killed, a decidedly handsome one at that. His name was Jason, or something narcissistic like that. He smiled lopsidedly; not that he wasn't one himself, of course. It was not long until he found himself in a damaged part of the ship again. Green and purple stuff seemed to cover everything, but there was two varying shades that seemed to clash in spots, attempting to grow over each other. A fungi-fight? Somehow, William wasn't convinced this was just fungi. It wasn't until he noticed someone from around the corner, facing away from him. He was to far away to see if he was with someone but he looked preoccupied. William called over, hoping it was another human that resided here, "Hello? Are you human? It's me, Jason, there's loads of crazy beings around here lately blowing the place up. Hello?" He sounded like the generic scared human, he looked like it, he would be sensed as if he were a regular human, or at least he should. Perhaps, supposing this was another human, he would lead him to the large group of souls William had been searching for.

@Archene (An easy way of telling he's not human would be the lack of soul you would sense from him. He's neglected to emit enough soul to give the pretences of being human...)

As the tentacles pierced Nytarr's flesh they injected even more of the virus into his soul. Nanautzin's virus worked on a physical level as well as a spiritual. Using the body as fuel Nanautzin's virus would infiltrate and propagate within the targets soul until the entire body had been converted to viral biomass and the soul was completely corrupted and ready for consumption. With the new DNA sequence it would take roughly 5 minutes with Nanautzin nearby for the virus to fulfill its purpose. However without his presence his virus wasn't able to do much against immortals.

The tentacles began dragging Nytarr back towards Nanautzin who had his blade at the ready. As his target was being pulled a viral membrane began extending outward from the points where the spikes and tentacles were attached to Nytarr. This was about all Nanautzin could manage at the moment as over half of his energy was being dedicated to dealing with his opponents virus. As it stood now if anyone interrupted him he would have to flee.

Gabriel listened to what the warrior had to say, his speech serving to calm the adrenaline flowing trough her and allowing her to take in the situation better. For the little time she had she thought of only three possible solutions, where only taking the syringe wasn't the one that led into certain death. In two remaining scenarios Forfax could fasten the petrification rate and seal her fate that way, or lastly step over her pride and stop the stone spread completely, not knowing if the mortal before her would do the same.

Officer finally took a notice of the repetitive beeping sound her ear piece made, signaling for her to answer. She raised her hand up and she touched the communication device, eyeing the warrior in case he tried anything. She listened to the message, keeping her look on her enemy as she replied "Officer Gabriel here, currently my opponent and I are at draw, I'm about to..."

Use the syringe , Gabriel wanted to say, but she was caught in mid sentence by the warrior's question. The air of respect around it and the lack of brutality in his eyes was something she didn't expect, and she turned off the ear piece with a press, putting Theon aside as she answered him with certainty. "As far as my own grave, warrior", Officer replied, determined and tense once again, ready to summon a snake at any moment. She hissed from the pain in her leg as the alloy continued to occupy the tissue, young soldier's shoulders lowering while still sitting lent against the wall.

Malesh Nytarr

The Virus Immortal

As an immortal who used virus energy, surely his own virus also worked both physically and spiritually. Though his means diverged from the enemy, he could still find similarities. Surely the enemy would also find them. Though Malesh was using most of his energy to shield the advance of the demonic virus, he still used part of his focus to just get his own virus to still annoy Nanautzin.

He knew that the situation wouldn't last long as he began to be pulled towards the enemy. He couldn't find a way out. Making more spikes would certainly be too much considering the whole situation. Just as the enemy's virus began to encroach upon his soul. He felt a small burst of energy coming from the depths of himself. He directed this energy with the simple intent of shielding him from harm.

Purplish opal spikes seemed to burst from from his skin severing the tentacles. A certain amount of purer virus energy seemed to circulate through his body briefly cleaning a considerable part of the virus inside him before exiting his own body and forming an opalescent purple armor of many tones. At certain key points, the virus energy seemed to converge and form light violet crystals.

dark_nytarr.jpg

Noticing his new form, the first thing he focused on was fully removing the foreign viral energy that assailed him. While he did take his focus away from his own virus, he felt so full of energy and power that he thought that there would be no way that such slip could lead to a terrible event. I must remain calm, power isn't everything. He quickly retreated, paying little mind to lower life forms that may or may not have entered the area where immortals were fighting without dying or becoming infected then dying horribly. He had no time to pay attention to what seemed to be a mortal.

"Now, will you leave and let us split our paths here? Your presence on this side of the shields is quite helpful, regardless of your intents. Rethink your actions and retreat. You will then live, to eat a less dangerous meal." Though his face couldn't be seen anymore, the Immortal still smiled out of habit. His voice was as amiable as on the first time he spoke, but also sounded rather forceful this time.

@SleepyBuddha @Destructus Kloud (And I'll be updating my CS after this. And if I do leave any aftereffects around, paint them purple. <.<)

Theon grimaced as the power levels within the ship grew higher and higher, with the addition of a new demon, most likely having escaped from the Captain and Acantha. "We've got too many threats in here, how did the both of you let the demon escape further into the fleet? There's two demons, yours, and Nanautzin, alongside an Immortal who's already powered up. The chances of me being able to take out the winner of this fight are getting lower by the second, I need backup!" He breathed slowly, gripping his gun tightly, all the while attempting to suppress his energy enough so that the enemies wouldn't detect him as he tried to escape their range. "Gabriel, keep at it, I know you can finish off that demon, and if you need to use your syringe.. good luck." He looked down and patted the syringe in his coat, feeling both comforted and intimidated by it's presence. "Captain, Acantha, you'll want to stop any others from entering the fleet, I'll keep you updated on this situation, okay?"

@Gabriel Forfax@Petroshka@Cheryl

"If it's the grave you want soldier then it will be the grave you get. I don't intend on going alone if I have a choice. However...." Fellos let his back thump against the opposite wall of Gabriel and slid down to the floor. A pained groan escaped his lips when his rear finally touched the floor, as the movement jarred his body and in doing so, moved the petrified limb. "But I would rather live if it's all the same. Hm...

Besides..." The demon male looked off into the direction of the rising soul powers and a conniving, reckless grin made its way onto his lips. "You're stronger than I thought but there are still some much more appetizing souls over in that direction. So I have an idea." The warrior scooted across the room till he was able to make contact with the soldiers leg and waved off the corrupting metal that was causing her pain, taking it back into his soul. This would bolster his own soul slightly and give the soldier what she wanted.

"You and I go over there and kill the strongest souls, given they aren't your allies and help out your fellow soldiers and defenseless citizens. In return, I get to consume any of the powerful souls we take down....if we don't die in the process. Then we meet up again on a later date when you have gained your armored form and I have gained my demon beast form and we settle this little score once and for all." There was not trace of deceit in the crimson clad warrior's eyes. As he stated, crazed and bloodthirsty and much, much more. However, Fellos was many things but a liar he was not. He strangely didn't like lying. Especially not to other combatants who gained his respect. "On the other hand we could just end this all here and kill each other. Either way, I like the outcome." He said with a pointed grin. The demon stood up from his spot in front of her and offered his non petrified hand to the downed female soldier, " Regardless, get up. We have to some exciting blood to spill don't we?"

@Gabriel Forfax

William's eyebrows rose. He saw. This was another immortal, like the one before but more... Pure? He cracked a smile, maybe that was the wrong word given the purple mass that tried to crawl up his leg. He shook it off and, in a single dash, leaped over to the second being with great speed. It was... Not something too unfamiliar, giving off an immortal's energy but, tainted. He was becoming a demon. Now William truly grinned evilly, "You are so close." He whispered, now very close to him from behind, "Will you allow me to tip you into the abyss...?" He asked slowly, his smile widening into inhuman length as it travelled up his cheeks to his eyes, sharp teeth lining it. His arm had threaded in front of the near-demon, exposed as his sleeve was rolled up. A white pulsating energy came from it, soul... The immortal was so close that it wouldn't require much to transform him. A few humans would have done it, but that was proving to be too slow. And William wished to see this fight play out with an excite fervour. Accept it, accept the soul and embrace the darkness. He wanted the being to join him on the dark side. It would be such fun to wreck havoc of this haven with a newfound friend.

@Archene @SleepyBuddha

Gabriel looked after the warrior with curiosity as he lowered himself down, thinking that, indeed, they will die there. She raised her eyebrow slightly as he turned to detect other energy sources, the proud soldier feeling insulted by the warrior's last words and frowning for it. She kept her eyes on him as he kept dragging himself closer, Officer not trying to move away as he approached close enough to touch her leg, making the pain go away. As a sign of gratitude she listened to what he had to say, and looked up at him.

Forfax was always the most naive one in the squadron, with being prone to trusting her enemies and allying with both immortals and demons, much to Theon's disgust. One look at the near demon, though, and she could tell that his proposition was honest, filled with no deceit and with the core need to survive. Gabriel was more than satisfied with the idea, his proposition to help out the injured making her respect for him raise considerably, chuckling and promising herself that she will climb up on the rank of sentinel by the time of their next encounter.

Officer rolled her eyes jokingly while slightly smiling, mood much lighter as the warrior stood up once again, offering her his hand. "We certainly do", Gabriel said, picking up her scythe from the floor and taking his hand, standing up. She cleaned the dust from her suit with brief hand movements before straightening up. "Just let's make sure that the blood spilled won't be ours", she commented, glancing at his arm that was almost completely turned into stone. In all honesty, Gabriel never thought of how to reverse petrification upon creating the ability, and she guessed that she would have to improvise on the spot. Officer touched warrior's arm with her hand, imitating what the mortal was doing only moments ago and absorbing the stone from his arm, rather than unleashing aether into it. Exhaling as it actually worked, young soldier then contacted Theon by touching the ear device. "Officer Gabriel here, the threat is neutralized. Is there any dangerous entity that should be taken care of?"

@shadowz1995 @Rurnur

"Neutralized?" Theon furrowed his brow, focusing in on Gabriel's location. "It appears your demon still lives, you might have to step on it again, Gabriel. But in regards to dangerous entities, we have three threats grouped together near my location, two demons that will most likely kill the nearby Immortal. I'm gonna need backup in order to kill the two demons, though." He as glad Gabriel was successful, it'd be nice to finally recieve some assistance.

@Gabriel Forfax

"Oh but I'm sure your blood is exciting too but yes let's try to not let it be ours today haha." The officer seemed to have lightened up shockingly quick. He did not think she would trust him so easily, even to Crack a joke. The soldiers of the Grand Fleet weren't known for their mercy and often hunted down and executed both demons and immortals aike. Only they could live in their perfect world it seemed. The soldier however... she must have been a relatively new addition or very innocent...and innocence wasn't what it was.

The male extended his arm as she reached for his and felt a tremendous relief as the pain and mobility return the stone limb.  It only took a moment after before the soldier radioed in her "victory". The demon had to chuckle at the fact that she said he was neutralized. Anything but, he wanted to say.

Fellos had to admit, he was starting to look forward to fighting alongside this girl. "Well, lead the way Miss Gabriel."

@Gabriel Forfax

Nanautzin shrinked back as his intended meal gained an armored form right as he was about to consume him. As much as he didn't like it Nanautzin wasn't sure if he could manage to pierce the armored state without transforming. "Fine.... I will lea-" He started to say until he heard a whisper from behind and a similarly but much more powerful corrupted energy say, " You are so close....Will you let me tip you into the abyss?" The demon behind him posed. Without even thinking about it his arm reached out to take the soul. As Nanautzin looked down at the soul now in his hands he could hear the darkness within his soul whispering to him, almost trying to force him to consume the soul.  'Do it.... come into the abyss and I swear that your children will never fear from outside attacks. I swear to keep your mission of evolution going in your stead.'

Unable to resist the temptation Nanautzin swallowed the soul quickly and immediately his transformation began to take place. Falling to his knees groaning in pain it felt as if his entire body was being ripped apart on an atomic level. As if his entire existence was being used as fuel to bring another more powerful being into being.

Starting with pained grunts Nanautzin's skin itself Megan turning into the viral membrane that was once his weapon. The grunts turned to screams as the conversation if skin to membrane traveled from his chest outward, turning his organs, muscle, and bone to mush so that it could be rebuilt stronger. Right before his head was turned to membrane Nanautzin said, " I am weak.... so I must, evolve." With those as his last words his entire body was turned into something that looked like an egg. On the inside the new body was being crafted from the old. The corrupted soul seemed to be crafting the ideal body to house it.

It was maybe a minute after the screams stopped that the shell of the old was cracked open by the new being which released no only a massive amount of dark energy, but millions of tiny viral spores, for lack of a better term, their seemed to hang in the area as the new demon was welcomed into the world.

William's eyes glinted as he laughed aloud, "Ahahahaha! Yes! Yes! A new birth of greatness into the universe, it was created and witnessed by me!" He looked over to the armoured immortal opposite them, "Please, oh viral beings, let us trample on the home these mortals call their haven from us. Let us devour their soldiers and families. Let us lay waste the the race of the mortal we so despise! The game has been set, and there are souls to harvest." He grinned, oozing with evil and malicious intent. With these two at his side, the fleet wouldnt stand a chance.

The Virus Immortal

Seeing the former Immortal becoming a Demon, the Virus Immortal was ready to throw spikes at them before retreating. Seeing the other Demon not immediately attacking and instead, throwing a speech. It would be a pain to leave if both of them pursued him. And if they are rampaging around, I may be able to snatch a ship before leaving them to their fate. Sooner or later, someone will stop them. He paused his train of thought briefly, And if they bring enough damage around, the Fleet might take longer to attack us. He hmmed quietly within the armor, "Viral Demon, will you accept your, friend's proposal? Honestly, I have no wish to touch the mortal's within this fleet, but I will not even think of stopping you until the Fleet has been stopped." He smiled within the armor, "You will get your nourishment and I will get to save energy."

@Destructus Kloud @SleepyBuddha

Acantha seemingly out of no where came down from above with strings helping her keep above and away from the demons. "Or you can eat that tasty immortal's strong soul." If she was attacked she could easily escape, and her strings would definitively slow them down. "My soul wont be at all tasty, you see, im weak." As she is dangling from the ceiling Acantha stopped her decent and stares at the three hand on cheek with a sinister smile. Oh i wonder how this will play out.

@Destructus Kloud @Archene @SleepyBuddha

William pointed at the string immortal, "You, I will consume myself. An annoyance since my introduction to this array of human disgrace, I will have your head soon enough." He turned back to the virus immortal, "If you shall not join us, you shall be consumed by us. That is all." He glanced over to the newly made demon, "Right?"

@Archene @Petroshka @SleepyBuddha

Acantha eyes narrowed at the demon. "Typical demon behavior." It was now confirmed, the demon named 'the gentleman' wasnt the crazyed brute Acantha first assmued. She was hoping to get the three to fight eachother while she made an escape. But no matter, shw had planned for this the strings were already laid out it was now a matter of when they will make their move.

"Got it, sir" Gabriel said to the communication device, nodding slightly out of habit. She looked over to the mortal as she hung up, chuckling at his words. "Misses.", she corrected before moving to the point. "Apparently, there are two demons and an immortal that require immediate attention" Officer made a short pause and glanced at the warrior, to see if he was paying attention, before continuing. "But I can sense some weaker entities close to us. They probably used up the opportunity of security breach to barge in, so we'll take them out on our way to the real threat", she stated as she turned on her heels and headed left towards the door marked as A-47.

Something metal in the inner pocket of her unzipped jacket gave out a silver glint as she walked, and upon noticing it Officer zipped up her jacket, continuing to move in the direction of the door. "Follow me, mister", Gabriel said that while slightly smiling. summoning a snake next to herself that was large enough to carry her. She still didn't know the name of the crimson man, when she thought about it, but the younger soldier didn't want to push it, there were lives to think about for now. Officer pressed her boot against the stone monster's nuzzle, stepping onto the serpent's head with ease and turning towards the mortal as the serpent raised its head from the ground. "Think you can follow up, half demon?", she grinned, proposing a competition.

"Acantha, wait! Dammit, okay i'm coming too." Theon sighed as he began sprinting through the halls, towards the group of high-level beings. They had all powered up at this point, putting Acantha and himself at a huge disadvantage, but he had to do something. Hopefully Gabriel and the Captain wouldn't take too long to arrive. "Gabriel, Cynthia, myself and Acantha are about to engage a group of three hostiles, we'll try to slow them down, but we don't know how long we can last alone. Try and get here as soon as possible." Theon held his gun in front of his face as he entered the large space where the demons and immortals had decided to gather.

Theon slowly moved around the crowd, until he was facing Acantha, surrounding the group of enemies. "I'll have you all know that there are reinforcements on their way, and there's no way you'll be able to take us on, or even put a dent in the Fleet's military. I'd reccommend that you take your leave, and spend your time hunting eachother, instead of setting your sights so high." He spoke loudly, aiming his weapon at the group, with his hand on his sword.

@SleepyBuddha@Archene@Destructus Kloud@Petroshka@Gabriel Forfax@Cheryl

The freshly born demon tilted its head to the side to a bit looking between all of the beings one at a time in utter confusion, if the demon knew how to convey his confusion he certainly would. After about a minute basic functions and knowledge came flooding forth and the demon knew his name, " Nanautzin.... my name is Nanautzin." The name seemed foreign to the demon, but he was strangely attached to it at the same time.  With his new found perception of reality final Nanautzin took inventory and looked around. There was one demon like himself next to him and the rest were..... FOOD! Why was Nanautzin so hungry? The feeling of hunger reminded Nanautzin that the demon next to him mentioned something about soldiers and families. Then the armored one said nourishment. So souls is what he is craving right now.

Nanautzin looked down at his hands, trying to understand this body, " I am famished brother. Let us push further into this place and feast." Nanautzin could feel his energy was powerful, but didn't know what exactly his energy was. It felt similar to the one in purple armor, but he could tell they were different in nature.

Nanautzin looked to his fellow demon for direction as he had no idea what to do about this situation. His impulse was to attack the voice that had appeared behind him, but there was a nagging sense that if he did do that he would be put in a vulnerable state.

Cynthia was busy realizing that she wouldn't be able to find the flesh Demon and that she had let him deviously escape her. She was the fool, and Cynthia would not allow that to happen. But for now she would escort all of the wounded mortals and evacuate the vulnerable. It was a quick process, all she had to do was look for the citizens and guards on her mobile map and then send them off to the nearest infirmary on a slide of slime. It was like soap, slippery but not messy.

Cynthia had managed to rescue the mortals trapped under the rubble of what used to be the ceiling before she received Theon's call. With a curt reply Cynthia said "I am currently evacuating the mortals in the path of the Demons. And call me Captain or Sheridan, never by my first name." there was a slight tone of annoyance in her last sentence when talking about how to call her. They needed to know that she wasn't a simple guard, but the captain of security. But considering that so many Immortals and Demons have managed to pass by her, she had a slight worry that she may be demoted due to her incompetence. "I will come as soon as I am done." .

@Rurnur

(Just saying, William is no longer in his armoured form right now)

The flesh demon smiled with great satisfaction, "Indeed, very right you are." He turned to the new voice, "Let us feast then, brother, on the very lambs that dare to follow us." He blurred and appeared in front of Theon, grinning. A hand clasped around the fake immortal's throat, "Let us clear a path, eh, you mortal faker?" And he launched the both of them forward down the corridor and through the steel walls until a path was created to a military barracks. Here, many humans resided as part of the human fleet's defences it seemed, as a large mass of mortal souls had seemed to gather here. It would nourish them. Still holding this new fake by the throat, William threw him, causing Theon to crash into a military recruit cohort building and destroy it.  The flesh demon looked back to Nanautzin with a devious smile as he called back, "I have found a while host of morsels for consumption, brother! Join me!"

@SleepyBuddha @Rurnur @Archene @Petroshka

Nanautzin smiled and using the wings his new body gave to him seemingly appeared next his brother with a flap of his wings. To those who could track the demon's movement they would have seen Nanautzin flap his wings once and jumping towards the cache of humans at the same time then slowing himself to a stop by spreading his wings out to create drag and landing beside his brother.

"Please allow me the first taste brother." Nanautzin said deciding to test out his energy. Pooling the energy in his hand Nanautzin watched as a large spiky sphere of viral energy floated up from his membrane covered palm. "So this is what my energy does...." Nanautzin muttered as he thrusted his hand at the crowd of humans which launched the sphere of energy into the crowd, piercing deep into the crowd before exploding, creating a structure of viral energy which impaled many humans, absorbing their souls into the structure for Nanautzin to harvest at his pleasure.

"As you wish. I am still full on that delicious meal from earlier." He sighed as he thought back to that explosive immortal he had consumed. Indeed, that amount of soul power basically doubled his, making him more than just a demon. His new form, very reminiscent to the viral demon's next to him, but still very different. He had tipped Nanautzin over the edge. That immortal had allowed William to soar over that edge and brush fingertips with the other side. There was more to look forward to, a further evolution from the mighty demon. William wanted that. He wanted more.

He he finally turned back to the crushed building and called out, "Are you planning on sitting there until your kinsmen have been devoured, fake immortal? Or will you attempt to stop us?" William grinned evilly, "I am William Rundell Haus Code, known to most as The Gentleman and the universes first master over the flesh in the form of a demon. I am your opponent; face me in battle." A long bone polearm with a slight fleshy covering grew from his palm, elongating until it stretched longer than his body. A sharp bone-blade shot from the top and te scythe was complete. He whispered, "Soul Reaver. Summon." The blade completed forming, a powerful red energy coming off it. All that it cut would find its soul would bleed along with its blood. William found it quite useful for feeding.

@Rurnur @SleepyBuddha @Archene

Theon frowned and spoke into his headset briefly. "I'll call you Captain when you act like one. We all know rank has become irrelevant. Besides, who's team is this really?" He hissed into the microphone, becoming flustered over this desperate situation. Were the higher-ranking soldiers just using them as bait? It would make sense, to simply use their weakest soldiers to test the enemies, instead of putting the more valuable soldiers at risk. He hoped that wasn't the case. Unexpectedly, an enemy seemed to be attacking him already. "Acantha! Don't get outnumbered!" He shouted, before being slammed through the Fleet, but not before he blasted a couple rounds of chemical energy into his attacker's soul.

After a short period of not being able to react, Theon pushed himself out of the rubble, looking around at the various mortals surrounding him. "Dammit.. stay back, all of you, I'll try to draw him away." He mumbled, before re-summoning his pistol. "Yeah, yeah. Gimme a second." Theon coughed and half-heartedly aimed his gun at the demon, upon walking out of the rubble. "You're very arrogant, for a demon. What could you possibly have to be proud of?" He raised his arm, motioning to the humans cowering in the rubble. "Any weak mortal in this very Fleet could gain your level of power, but you know what? They don't. Because it's disgusting, it's vile, it's a path for those who lack the strength for true power! Even a lesser Immortal is more respectable than you." Theon spat onto the ground in front of him, as he charged up a magazine in his pistol, and began unloading rounds in the direction of his opponent. "Shall we dance, gentleman?" He smirked, dashing to the side while reloading his pistol.
