Fandom Gotta Go Fast! (Spoiler free!)

My love for Sonic the Hedgehog and everything to do with the games, movies, and comics has been amplified tenfold by the newest film. There are NO SPOILERS in this thread so if you're hoping to see it and haven't, no need to fear. The movie is far too phenomenal for me to ever think about ruining the glorious experience of seeing it for the first time for anyone! But it's made me want to RP all things Sonic (though, admittedly, I'm especially craving things with Shadow) so here I am, making my first search post in forever. Hopefully it'll be successful!

A bit about me first. I'm a 27 year old female living in the EST of the US and currently suffering in college for a film/TV production degree. I'm a literate writer who tends to write anywhere from 200-600 (with the absolute top seeming to be around 800) words, though I'm fine with shorter or even one liners if I can work with it.. Sadly, life and mental health things makes my activity pretty off and on, though I'm currently on winter break in between semesters so I'm hoping to be able to (after Christmas) reply multiple times a week. Once I'm back in college, it's honestly a crapshoot as too how often I reply, but I try to keep my partners updated when I can. I NEVER ghost so if you don't hear from me I'm either insanely busy or insanely depressed or both, but I'm not ignoring you. I've been a fan of Sonic since I was very little so I know like... too much about this series so I'll be an informed partner. I prefer to write in threads. Fade to black is an absolute MUST for romance, but I don't need romance and it's honestly low on my priority list with this search. I'll write mxf or mxm (nothing against fxf as I'm a bi-girly myself, but I just struggle to write it for some reason), certain canons, and of course OCs. I love AUs and writing these characters in other fandom worlds (for example: something set in Game of Thrones, Sons of Anarchy, Riverdale, etc.). I greatly prefer to RP in PMs because I can easily lose track of threads. I LOVE to plot and do randomly PM my partners with equally random ideas that popped into my head.

What I'm looking for in a partner? Somebody who is at least 18 years old. Timezone doesn't matter. While word count doesn't matter to me, being able to write legibly does, though typos and whatnot are absolutely okay! Please communicate with me and don't ghost me. Have a working knowledge of the specific series we'll be writing in (so either have played some of the games, watched at least the first film, etc.). Preferably write in PMs. Be friendly! I have bad social anxiety and my partner being friendly makes things much easier. I love to chat OOC so it'd be nice if my partner does, too! And please... don't be a creep. Fans of Sonic should know exactly what I'm talking about lol

Now for what I'm looking for in RPs!

- Friendships, rivalries, adventurous sort of plots (either one or a mixture!)
- If the plot is romance, it must be inncoent and clean sort of romance! Nothing steamy/dirty. I don't want to ruin my childhood LOL
- Literally anything involving Shadow
- Either AU or historical (so 50 years ago) plots revolving around Shadow and Maria's life together
- AUs! Including AUs with the characters in a different fandom world
- Game Universe
- Movie Universe (especially post-3 plots)
- Archie Comics Universe
- Possibly the TV shows individual universes
- Certain Canon x Canon (please PM for which characters as I'm running on E right now and can't really think of who; I'll likely update this once I get some good sleep lol)
- Canon x OC (same as above applies)
- The plot we write must include canons in some way. I'm not interested in strictly OC x OC except in really compelling plots.
- I'm mostly looking to come up with our own plots within the above universes as opposed to RPing out the specific stories of a particular game, movie, etc.
- I'm NOT a fan of Amy so anything focusing on her would likely make me lose interest fast.

The plot I'm REALLY craving is...

The setting is an AU human world where Mobians are basically seen as any other animal, likely because a lot of them haven't evolved to the point of being able to communicate verbally, though some can (I'd be fine with them all being on the level of Sonic and co. evolution-wise OR them not verbally communicating on purpose). They live alone, but really want a pet to keep them company. They got to a pet store or a rescue... and find a certain black and red hedgehog who's different from the others. Do note that while I really want to write this plot with Shadow the Hedgehog as the one the human chooses, I would be fine with swapping him out for a different canon Mobian.
