The Magnificent Manbeard
Basically, a teenage version of the Justice League based in Gotham City, New Jersey. Our characters are all students at Gotham Academy, mostly between ages 13 and 18. At the start of the RP, metahumans aren't really commonplace. But mysterious events at STAR Labs lead to young people being kidnapped and then returned home, but altered. When some of these events and supervillains cropping up lead back to Carmine Falcone and the fabled Court of Owls, 17-year old Bruce Wayne puts his martial arts training to the test and becomes a costumed vigilante the media labels "the Dark Knight." He won't assume the role of Batman until some time later.
Our characters are the team of teenagers Bruce puts together to fight this new wave of supervillains. You can be normal humans, kids who were kidnapped and altered, metahumans by some other method, secret practitioners of magic, or aliens masquerading as human. But one thing to keep in mind is that prior to the start of the rp, super powers and magic and aliens are not public knowledge.

. Who is everyone else interested in playing? At some point in the story, we could have Abin Sur crash-land outside Gotham and the crash site has military and government agents swarming all over the place. Then Sur dies and his Green Lantern ring finds a new host, perhaps Hal Jordan as a young Air Force officer or some other character.
