The 'Nanny' System: Every year, freshmen would be assigned a 'nanny'. A nanny is a returning student who will teach their assigned student everything there is to know and to guide them to success (hopefully).
The Cobblepots: The area which is called Gotham Academy at this moment used to be Cobblepot property. Though the property has been sold because of Millie Jane Cobblepot's father dying, the Cobblepot Crypt still remains. Situated at the center of the cemetery, the origins of many rumors of ghosts start there, if not from the North Hall.
The Wayne Foundation: Ever since Bruce Wayne entered this school briefly as a teenager, he saw the potential it had and started funding it while he was in his vigilante career. The Wayne Foundation funnels large amounts of money into the academy, while also offering scholarships as well.
2035 Setting: By popular choice, this RP is set in the future, though not far enough for Batman Beyond and flying cars to be a thing. In fact, this is roughly twenty years ahead of the current comic. Though Maps, Olive, and others haven't really left their mark on the academy, most things will be left unchanged. However, potential for superhero children coming to the academy is likely. The North Hall has surged in popularity as an urban myth once again as well, but is it Millie Jane's ghost haunting the academy, or is it someone else?
Joker Venom Outbreak of 2025: Just as the city fully recovered from the outbreak that caused the original Batman to disappear, a similar outbreak occurred ten years later due to a gang surfacing called 'Jokerz'. Though the outbreak has been stopped, the gang has been shown to grow exponentially.
Jokerz: A gang that took inspiration from the Joker, they followed his footsteps after his disappearance (a result of Batman: Endgame in this RP). A small group, their threat level happens to rise with each year passing.
School Rules:
- Uniforms must be worn unless off school grounds, in the dormitory, or in social events
- No 'revealing' clothing on school grounds
- A roommate exchange will be accepting if everyone related approves
- No disruptive noises in the dormitory after midnight
- Students may not go to their opposite gender's dormitory
- Anyone found outside their dorm after midnight will receive punishment
- Anyone in the possession of fireworks and/or firecrackers will be punished
- Gotham Academy does not tolerate racism, bullying, harassment, and/or any form of inflicted pain onto a fellow student
- Thievery will not be tolerated
- A 'nanny' will receive the same punishment as their freshman does
- Please report any structural weaknesses to the staff
- Due to the surplus of 'super' students, please refrain from using your specific abilities
- If you are seen with a weapon, you will receive a punishment
- Do not enter the North Hall!!!
