No fancy coding here either lol!!! Welcome to our Characters Section. This is where character sheets are submitted. DO NOT post a character sheet without having reserved a role in the OOC section first. Any unsolicited character sheets will be promptly ignored and not accepted. Below is a code for a character sheet; you are more than welcome to utilize your own. MY EXPECTATION is that the information provided in the sheet will be in whatever submission you provide.

Some of you can create your own coding and make it look really pretty; I usually use someone else's or just plain do the basics. However, as much as I'll laud you over your coding skills, my main priority and the major factor behind character acceptance is quality of the overall character. Pretty sheets are nice, but I do not excuse two to three sentences for personality or history sections. Actually tell me who your character is; what are their flaws? Their dreams? What do they like and dislike? What makes them the way that they are? If I do not receive such explication, your character will not be accepted.

Personality: Cameron, at first glance, is a girl who has everything together. Hardly a hair out of place, no wrinkles on her clothes, no cat hair on her outfit. She never leaves the house unless she looks the part of a perfect girl, because in her family, anything less than perfect is far from okay. Her mother didn't used to be like that, but after living in her hometown again for so many years, she's quite a different person and Cameron has her expectations and her grandmothers to live up to everyday. If a single thing is wrong, she won't stop hearing about it for months.

No one can withstand pressure like that forever, and for a while there, Cameron dealt with the frustration by self harming. She never told anyone, but if you look closely you can see the scars. She stopped mostly, now choosing to wear a rubber band instead and snap her wrist when she's feeling overwhelmed. She also does other peoples work for money, not because she needs the money, but mostly for the distraction. She studies hard to make the perfect grades. Anything less than an A is unacceptable, both to her family and herself.

All in all, Cameron definitely does not have it together but she'll damn well make you think she does. She's a pretty friendly girl, and she'll talk to just about anyone, but she won't sacrifice her grades and appearance for anything. She's known around school for being a bit of a prude or a goodie-two-shoes, when that's not really true. But she doesn't bother correcting people.

Biography

Home Life: Cameron lives in a house with her mother and grandparents in Manhatten, NY. They have a couple of cats, and even though Cam loves animals, she hates these cats. They take after her grandmother and are pure evil.

History: Cameron isn't an only child, though she is the youngest of the Reed clan. Born in a small town in Rhode Island, she and her family were definitely not rich. She's got two older sisters and an older brother, and then, there's Cameron. Her father worked long hours at a warehouse for a shipping company, while her mother was a teacher. Neither job brought in alot of money, so there were some struggles in Cam's childhood. The children never went hungry, but their parents did sometimes.

Her mother was from New York, but she'd left her own family behind upon meeting Cam's father. They were young and in love, and determined to make it. Tragedy struck when Cam was about eight years old, and their father lost his life on the job. There wasn't any life insurance, or anything that would help them survive, and Cam's mother now had four children to worry about on her teachers salary.

She decided that it was time to go home. One call to Cam's grandparents and they were packing up to move back to the upper end of Manhatten, back to a life that she'd given up on. But upon returning, she picked up right where she left off, and her parents were happy to have her back. Cam's grandmother is a strict woman, however, and she was determined to raise her daughters kids the "right" way.

Cam's two sisters took after their mother, and fell into the lifestyle easily. Cam's brother became the black sheep of the family, and when he was seventeen, took off. He hasn't been in touch but a few times since, and Cam's grandmother makes it perfectly clear how she feels about him. Her grandfather didn't age well; he spends a majority of his time staring at a blank TV. Cam's two sisters became snobby, and though they were once close to Cam, drifted apart. Now they're grown and gone, as is her brother, so Cam gets all the attention and negativity from her grandmother. The pressure to be perfect is unreal.

With her sinuous form and silky midnight mane framing a near cherubic face, she has been turning heads since the day she learned what to do with it all. Her brown eyes are accused of being doe-like, rarely without some sort of creative eye makeup, her lips are plump and rosy (and usually glossy), her soft creamy skin stays citrus-scented, and there's a rarely a day without the sight of that charming, dimpled smile that bespeaks a hint of wickedness one wouldn't dare accuse her of possessing...unless, of course, they already know better.

— PERSONALITY.

The direct result of a business-savvy gentleman and a show-stopping performer, Sienna resides on both ends of this magnanimous spectrum - a surprise to no one because from the day she was born, screaming at the top of her lungs, Sienna has never been known to do anything in halves. Much like her mother, Sienna is an entertainer at heart and it is rare to not enjoy oneself in her presence. Vivacious and sassy with just enough cheek to seem audacious, Sienna is known for her lavish parties she's put far more research in to than she'll ever let on as well as her spontaneous get-togethers or adventures she’s bound to drag her friends along for. From the clothes she wears to her even more flirtatious antics, Sienna knows how to put on a show, even at her most authentic. She’s rarely without a smile and a sashay to her walk, and she’s known for being able to make friends with just about anyone.

At the same time, she is as much a product of her environment as she is a product of her father’s loins, and there is no mistaking the spark of wicked in the glint in her eyes. For all her debonair charm and lively allure, Sienna can be just as petty and vicious as the next mean girl along Manhattan’s streets. She is likened to a coiled up scorpion; small and unassuming in that she’s so comfortable in her role one wouldn’t expect anything more than another pampered princess, Sienna can lash out and commit social devastation when provoked. It is not a facet of her person she particularly likes and although she tries not to do it often, she’s not always innocent in her affability and playfulness. She schemes and strikes out with a premeditation that is typically only seen in her party planning, oftentimes using even the most seemingly inconspicuous of connections to get her the results and information she wants.

However, there’s a difference between her and the sycophants she might go to school with – some of whom she might even consider friends. Sienna’s guilt and remorse is usually immediate. Though she’ll take satisfaction in having protected her person and her loved ones, though she’s just as sharp as the bite in her words, these malicious machinations are performative, at best, no matter how convincing and harmful they are in the end. Sienna feels too deeply for her own good, is far more romantic than the lascivious rumors surrounding her name, and has a deep and abiding case of insecure perfectionist her family’s dumped on her head like an inelegant crown. The show must go on, however, and Sienna’s never been one to disappoint.

— HOME LIFE.

While Sienna's childhood home will forever be their estate in Long Island, she currently resides in her family's penthouse where her favorite bedroom is. Most times, the only ones living in the home are Sienna, her younger sister, Esmee, and their live-in caretaker Angie. Her mother, Cynthia Mendez, is a former Broadway actress turned socialite and is the only other parent who is typically found with her youngest children. Her eldest brother, Luke, is a pro baseball player and other older brother, Mason, is currently in law school. Both have been known to visit as often as they can to spend time with their sisters. Her father Emmanuel Artaega, a billionaire sugar tycoon with dealings in real estate, is always traveling between the United States and Cuba. Unbeknownst to their socialite friends, however, when he is in New York to see his children, he meets them all at the Long Island estate - away from their mother and, occasionally, his youngest child. Sienna also has a black Bombay kitten named Christian.

— HISTORY.

Sienna was a bit of a Halloween surprise, but a welcome nonetheless. After six years of trying, and their marriage honestly suffering the effects of said attempts, her parents had finally been able to bring home the long sought-after girl they’d both wanted from the day Emmanuel had met Cynthia at an art gallery opening in the Bronx. It would be another four years before Esmee would be born, thus completing their family, but Sienna had been the apple of her parents’ eyes from the moment she was born. She’s privileged to never have wanted for anything and that includes familial bonds. For while the Artaega-Mendez clan has their issues now, all of her friends have known – from years of exposure to this Mexican-Cuban family – them to be nothing more than a close unit, even with their differences. It's never been a novelty to see Sienna inserting herself into her brothers' video game wars and inviting over their significant others, or dragging her sister along to ballets her mother decided they just had to attend only for the girls to divulge in selfies in the elegant bathrooms.

Out the womb, Cynthia envisioned Sienna’s Hollywood success. While Cynthia had had a decent career, she couldn't help but want more for her daughter. She waited, of course, until Sienna was about one before positing her as baby actress, serving as the newborn offspring of as many white-passing and even a few Latinx on-screen families as she could, building Sienna’s resume before Sienna was truly constructing full sentences. Nevertheless, Sienna took to the camera quite easily. While she loved knowing her father adored the very ground she walked on, and that he still brags about her success even to this day, Cynthia’s dream became Sienna’s dream the moment she understood there was a dream to live. So, she gave herself over to the spotlight, taking on this role and that if her mother thought the contract beneficial for her. It was always a gamble, though, negotiating a successful Emmy-nominated and Teen Choice Award-won career at such a young age while also maintaining friendships. It hasn’t even been as easy as Sienna’s made it look, especially as recent family revelations have turned her home life into a war room. Cynthia has made Sienna’s world into a stage and Sienna knows nothing more than to perform, even if it means patting her tears with concealer and veiling her words with sharp quips.

Sienna does want more, however. She wants less red carpets and an end to being anyone but herself. She wants less contracted relationships and genuine connections that don’t spark rumors she’s sadder about than she’ll admit. While she has never failed a class a day in her life, using private tutors to build up her GPA or a beguiling enough of a smile to turn the hardest of hard-hearted professors her way, Sienna genuinely wants a new career. And not the one her mother thinks she’ll pursue full-time once she graduates from Constance. Both of her brothers were allowed to pursue their wants and Esmee more than likely will be able to as well, even though her wants are being protected now only by Sienna in the face of their mother’s secret neglect and their father’s most recent reluctance. Sienna’s the only one of the older siblings standing in the middle of the battleground, her own agenda in her heart but everyone else’s swords geared to tear her the shreds should her desires conflict with theirs.
