Welcome to Beverly Hills
Ah, the great state of California, where people come to make their dreams come true. Nestled in the secluded fields of Beverly Hills lies Aster Academy, one of the greatest world renowned places to attend. This is a place held exclusively for the children of the wealthiest families in the country. It is a place of social, economic, and academic wealth. Our Academy is well known for our architectural beauty, as well as all of our lovely gardens. Not to worry, we do make the exception for those few who show an amazing levels of intelligence which are admitted on full scholarships. Whether you're a silver spoon baby, or one of our special students, there is no doubt that you will experience the luxuries that you thought you'd only ever seen in movies. We offer exclusive living quarters for those select students that cannot afford to travel back and forth. Most of our students reside in their homes all around the Hills, Hollywood, and Los Angeles. Brace yourselves, this year is looking like a promising one.
The Life of Royalty
As explained before, we have some select students that do not have the benefit of economic wealth, like the others. However, we offer an allowance to those students in order to help them fit in a bit better. We believe we are very modest with the amount that we reward our prize students with. Our Academy hosts many balls and events that require more sophisticated clothing, which gives the opportunity to wear those luxuries that can be brought with the value we deposit into student accounts. Aster Academy provides a very lenient atmosphere for those who attend, as we believe teenagers work best when they are not pressured. However, in extreme circumstances we will be forced to expel even the most excellent of students. The living quarters we provided for the three select students enrolled by form of a scholarship have full access to all they need inside their Grand Loft, which remains available with a sauna, dining room, maids, chefs, pool, etc. Most parties/balls/events take place in the Main Hall.
We are the Elite
As a student, and a child born into royalty, there is a great need for us teens to unwind. Don't let the Academy fool you, we are one of the biggest party schools in the United States. If you aren't hosting one, you're at one. However, we don't just throw small scale parties, no. We are the Elite, and that means our parties should be as well. Most of us own large estates, mansions, and homes which are perfect environments for our weekly parties. Many of us can't seem to loosen up without a little help, which is where the relaxing factors kick in. You will never attend a party that does not involve alcohol, drama, and drugs. We get so messed up, most of us don't even remember whose party we were at, and much less where. These are the places where most of our socializing happens. Oh, and don't you dare show up in some low class rag bin that you call your outfit. If you're not ready to dress the part, you're not ready to act the part. We might all seem happy and bubbly on the outside, but most of us are frenemies waiting to backstab one another when it becomes most convenient. Watch your back.
Gossip Girl
We all live on edge since an anonymous account surfaced on the Aster social media application. A person known as Gossip Girl has been making herself known, sending small level threats and warnings to the Royal Twelve, otherwise known as the twelve most elite of the elite at Aster. They are the people you wish you were, the people everyone dreams of becoming. They are the most recognized people of our age, whom for some reason someone is threatening to expose. But, why? They've repeatedly used and abused all other that they've thought beneath them, but this time they messed with the wrong person. One secret could bring all of their perfect worlds down, the goal? Stop this account, and find out who the hell is working for them. Will you be burned to the ground, or will you fight for your crown? No one is safe. How far are you willing to go for your seemingly flawless life? None of us are what we seem to be, we wear a mask for all.

Gone.
Everyone in this roleplay will have dirty little secrets. All that stands in between them from being exposed is time.
Now, you may be wondering, will everyone know my character's secret? Or just the GM and co-GM?
After some discussion, it has been decided that we need a proper balance between publicly announced secrets to the RP group, and privately messaged secrets that only the GM and co-GM are able to see. This will be ultimately up to the players if they want everyone to know, or only the GM and co-Gm, but it would be preferred if there was a somewhat even split.
Essentially, if everyone in the RP publicly announced their character's secrets, there would be no mystery at all, therefore causing a lack of excitement/suspense, both of which is needed in this particular roleplay. Now, on the other hand, if everyone sent their separate PM's to the GM and co-GM, there would simply be an over abundance of mystery. This would result in a lack of content, ultimately, as most players would have no idea of the other character's motivations, and wouldn't want to assume other's motivations out of fear of offending (in theory, not saying this would actually happen).
The point is, we need a balance. There needs to be people who openly announce their character's secrets, and people who privately PM the GM and co-GM.
If there needs to be clarification of this, please contact either @Queenie or myself. Thank you.
