SALUTATIONS!
What is up my fellow RpNationers? Is that what we call ourselves? Ahaha, I don't know. Anyway, I'm Raphael, or Raph for short, and a little birdie of mine told me it'd be a great idea to make a tutorial consisting of every Google Font. As much as I don't want to admit it, he's a genius, because I know plenty of people who are extremely lazy and don't want to go through the trouble of scrolling through all the fonts, myself included. There are 707 fonts total but I took out some that RpNation shouldn't have to deal with. I hope my dedication is of some use to you.
Q. Why is the font not working for me?
A. I probably typed in the name incorrectly, if so, please let me know so I can get that changed!

Usage
Fonts - The type of font a person uses really does matter. When you choose a font, you have to consider its legibility. Yes, the pretty cursive and extremely thin penmanship may be pretty, but that's not why you should choose Arizonia or Caesar Dressing to write your IC post. Choosing a simpler font will be a major favor towards your fellow roleplayers as it should be comfort over style. Also, when posting in major forums or creating a major thread, stick to the default font. This is in the rules and guidelines if you didn't know.
Font Colors - There are definitely too many colors in this world, but that doesn't mean you should use highlighter yellow to write your post. Like the font style, color isn't everything. Your coconut blues and Barbie pinks may be eye flattering, but they're also eye torturing, especially on a background of the same tone.
Background Colors - Don't you love all the codes on this site? I bet you love picking a crazy background for your IC post, I know I do. Again, there are too many colors to choose from but it's best to stick the the neutral tones. Neutral tones shouldn't be too bright or overly exaggerating because this could hurt someone's vision.
Font & Background Colors - The color combination between the font and background is vital to a comfortable roleplay. If your background is dark, then your font should be light. If you background is light, then your font should be dark. This is only a recommendation but I would take it into consideration. Check out welian's color thread if you need some colorful knowledge.
