I love it! But, at the same time, I want to stab myself with a spoon.


Through multiple layers of editing in both the BBC Code Editor AND the rich text, it will just.. oh, my freaking-


After a while of editing, when you hit preview, it will RANDOMLY throw in like 100 spontaneous extra font codes in random spots of the piece.


For example, if I were to type the following statement:


I love the Google Fonts Library!


And hit preview, and then carry on with my work, adding more diverse fonts for a CS style, out of the blue this sentence will randomly turn into this after hitting preview-


I the Google Fonts Library!


With random spaces doing the following:

[font=Cabin Sketch][size=5][font=Maven Pro][size=5][/font][/size][/size][/font]

... And that's just an empty space that I haven't even touched, like, at all. All I did was hit the enter button and left it blank to write a new paragraph. Its driving me nuts to try and code something pretty, because every time I do, the code just runs wild and adds/subtracts random code in random places upon hitting preview.

Ah, you've stumbled upon the wonders of bbcode stupidity. I don't have much of an answer to offer other than go back and edit, which is tedious, I know, but that is what I can offer currently. Hope it gets fixed soon!

I have- that's the kicker! :'D! Every time I edit, a few minutes later, it does the same thing over again. No matter what I do, in random places, it will add code I never even wrote.


Over and over again.

The Editor can often be a pain and its not something we can fix because its just the nature of Rich Text Editors online.

That makes sense! But I find most of my problem stems from switching from the rich text to the Code Editor and back again, is it possible I've done it to myself?


Maybe I've confused it somehow? ;; A;! Is there anything I can do to make my life a little easier? It's likely the code is just vengeful for.. whatever it is that I did. :'D

That would actually do it, if you are working with massive amounts of bbcode, you should stick to just the bbcode editor and the problems should just go away. The moment you switch back to Rich Text it automatically tries to be "helpful" again.

I've attached a handy screenshot below. 'Cause, if you're like me, you'll miss that checkbox about 10 times while looking for it. Hah!

Personally, I prefer the more inefficient method of typing everything up in Notepad and using copy/paste excessively.

I would do that, and I appreciate the gesture, if it wasn't for the fact that on the Editor it takes me 1-2 minutes to type five letters, as its is for some reason unbearably slow, and my keyboard typing normally is simply too fast for it. I daresay it would be physically impossible for me to actually type and code anything in the editor, unfortunately. Must be my connection or something. ;; A;

I wish I could, but unfortunately, the Editor is far more abysmal for my on my end. Like I said, I type five letters and I have to wait for the screen to catch up with my keyboard. I was oping it would be better, but at this point, its easier to go back and edit it over and over then to spend the time trying to function the editor, sorry. (:'() Its got to be my IMac.
