Bio: Ilabelle Amora Darren was born on a sunny day in mid-July with her five older siblings and her father with her mother as she gave birth. Unfortunately, the delivery process wasn't as smooth as the doctors had hoped. Ilabelle was born missing parts of her lungs, and her twin was born with half of her heart mal-formed. The doctors tried everything they could to save both of them. Only Ilabelle survived. Even still, she was in and out of the hospital for most of her childhood.


Despite her awful asthma and the time she would spend in the hospital, Ilabelle was still a genius. She skipped two grades, and was on track to skip a third when her lungs collapsed. She spent a month in the hospital, comatose and unresponsive. When she woke, she woke with two new lungs and a prescription to immunosuppressant drugs.


Ilabelle currently attends school regularly, but her future is uncertain. That's why she's only looking at nearby colleges. She'd much rather be near her family for however long she has left than go on a grand adventure.
