Greetings, I'm female and am an old school RPer. I started roleplaying on AOL (America Online) in the chatrooms back in them days, but sadly, it's no longer available. I miss good writing, I miss the connection that roleplay members had as they roleplayed out their characters of creating them. I'm in the middle of creating an SL of my own that takes place in the heart of Phoenix, AZ. It is a shape-shifting roleplay quite similar to my favorite show, the Nine Lives of Chloe King. I was sad when they chose to no longer release new episodes so I am dedicating my love for the tv show by writing something out of this world. If you would like to join the SL before it is finally launched down the road let me know. The characters are humans and shifters known as Primals. What are Primals you ask yourself? Why their shifters except how they appear from childhood to adulthood towards the elder stages may surprise you.(You could also say that part of my inspirations is taken from my childhood fairytales, The Jungle Book.)
I am from the Southern State of Tennessee and have performed in many plays, skits, and can RP both male and female characters as I have in the past. Once I am in character it's like the mundane part of me is on hold. I'm new RPNation.

Welcome to the Wild, the Primals are the main characters who try to hide their primal nature by wearing the skin of man. As they walk around the streets of good ol' Phoenix they might sense movement, hear the noises of scruffling, or the fine lines by touching a fabric that no ordinary homo sapien could even manage. Primals are not your ordinary shifter for there is more to them than meets the eye. When these primals are born into our world, they are born with human flesh, of course, there is a slight difference in some features such as the eyes to the facial features that make them look almost, how to say, alien just a bit. As a young primal they appear like any baby animal the minute they exist from their mother's womb. Some are blind, others are not, it depends on the animal they will soon become as their bodies begin to change with each passing day kind of quickly. At about five years old they will start to develop supernatural abilities one step at a time before triggering the phase(A phase is a primal's first transformation)and they need the presence of other primals of their race to mentor them through every stage until they are old enough to harness their powers, learn the characteristics and behavior of the creature they take the shape of. How to masquerade in the public eye isn't easy for a majority of them especially with the young to mature primals who are still trying to learn the ropes of who they truly are. Those who have been raised by humans are referred to as City Primals due to the way they think like them unlike Primals of the traditional variety who prefers living by their instinctive lifestyles. Other primal types exist than traditional and city ones, check out more Primal Backgrounds to help you customize your primal with ease. If you rather choose the way of humanity, then do so. Remember, right now, no human knows these shifters exist unless one learns about them through roleplay which would open to possibilities. A human who has knowledge of primals can do several things during the course of roleplay is seek protection(protected humans), work for them(workers in a primal business, the butler, maid etc), hunter(good reason why the hunter path such as a primal attacked them or someone they loved etc), collectors are humans who hunt them except they treat them like pets, turning primals into their slaves etc. Lover(dating, engaged, or married to a primal).
