The Roleplay
The Roleplay will consist of players being Godwalkers, or those born under the sign of a certain God/Goddess (usually a birthmark)and therefore able to commune with them and possibly receive either aid or discord as a result. Godwalkers can also manifest supernatural powers usually associated with their patron God/Goddess to better suit their personal goals.
You are not demigods or possess them as a parent. Though some Gods and Goddesses may eventually at some point past or future become a parental figure to you should you desire.
Now, this roleplay is rather free form and open world; meaning, you can try to do just about anything without breaking the rules and is reasonable. So no teleporting around the globe instantaneously or slaying divine beings left and right. I will come down like Mjolnir on you so fast Prometheus's punishment would seem like a better alternative. Other than that its your ball park. Will you conquer? Become rich? Be a celebrity? Or seek to possibly usurp yourself into Divinity?
Role players will need also at least one person enrolled or a teacher of The Academy (as known by the Gods), The cover name is Pacific Academy of Interdisciplinary Studies and Technical College or PASC. The Academy was originally founded by Odin, Anubis, and Hephaestus to teach young students both Human and Godwalker. The purpose was to allow the three gods to remain in contact with Humanity and covertly teach Godwalkers about the ways of the universe without drawing to much attention.
Additionally players can have characters that posses their own faction seeking other Godwalkers or followers to achieve their own end.
The Academy
The Academy features diverse architecture and incorporates both a High school level and a four to six year College adjacent to the main building. Situated on a hill side overlooking the Pacific Ocean in Northern California near Oregon. The Academy as set out by the three gods that actively run the facility is to teach Godwalkers and normal Humans, but for the former provide a safe environment were they can learn about themselves without drawing to much attention. Each Godwalker student has had an interview with the three gods on admission and are given a set of rules to abide by when on campus. The Campus is home to 3,500 students, and the vast majority are Human (90-95%), with full facilities such as gyms, pools, and sports fields along with trails and a wharf for the rowing team and outing club.
Campus Rules (only applicable for on-campus or campus excursions)
The Facilities
The Hub, full of offices and administrators for the Academy. There you will find President Richard Odan aka Odin, who runs the School. The sports fields are directly to the rear of the Hub and the wharf is just South-West behind a screen of trees.
The High School building or Bentley Hall. Featuring a full theater, several lecture halls and class rooms fully equipped for grades nine through twelve. You will also find the office for the Dean of High School Students, Professor Alexander Lloyd Anushire (Anubis). Bentley Hall is just East of the Hub and North of the Technical College.
Aegiad Hall or The A Complex as some students joke, is the Technical College run by the Dean of College Students Professor in Engineering Arnold Hopkins aka Hephaestus. The Technical college is adjacent to Gemini Hall, where the gym and sporting facilities are located and also adjacent to the Hub with fields to the East surrounded by woods and rolling hills. The Cafeteria is located in the Technical College as well, a large circular-domed building with a few restaurants located therein as well.
(House style depicted above)
The Dorms, or Houses (such as Alpha House, Delta Dorm etc) are rather impressive. They are co-ed houses capable of housing several students in a single building. They come in both a house style (several to a dozen students) and in dormitory style able to house a hundred students per hall. Everyone will be enrolled in the same house style dorm unless we grow out of space.
Academics
High School students will all take the same Course track, featuring interdisciplinary classes that combine several fields to give comprehensive classroom experiences. Allowing more time for students to interact with their teachers and learn how different subjects correspond to others. Senior's however have to take specialty courses headed by the Deans that deal with Godwalkers getting comprehensive learning about themselves. These classes compromise the Evening classes three days a week.
College Students are divided into three categories: Technical, Science, and Literature. The largest and most diverse being Technical and Science. Godwalkers also receive learning from the Gods on their nature in a more visceral and hands on approach by conducting special missions and seminars via Trials.
Therefore the Course's are:
High School (for High School students)
Technical (Engineering, Mechanic, Technician, and Craftsman classes)
Science (Biology, Chemistry, Psychology, and Earth science classes)
Literature (English, Scandinavian/Germanic, Romance, Ancient and Oriental languages; writing, and world literature classes)
The Gods
The Old Gods (Norse, Greek/Roman, Egyptian etc) are all or mostly still alive, with some Pantheons better off than others; yet, all save a few still take an active role in interfering with Mankind. Each God/Goddess is physically present on the planet and can only leave to travel back to any domain they may possess. However since most have, 'retired,' they live normal lives as immortals with aliases throughout the ages. Occasionally popping up here and there as larger than life persona's like Gandhi or the opposite like Mussolini.
Each God or Goddess has their own persona, so not all will help you. After all why should they? What have you done to deserve their benevolence?
Rules
1. Thou shalt not god mod or meta game I.E. cheat or do things to get an unfair advantage (working to get advantages are different, and imply you actually role play and strive to get such advantages in the first place that are recognized).
2. Thou shalt obey the word of the GM/Operator and any fellow administrators of the role play and the site.
3. Thou shalt not have more than three main characters (secondary, or just named people that only serve to drive your plot, you can have as many as you please).
4. Thy rules are subject to change.
5. Thou shalt not hit on the GM/Operator. Her divine sexiness is holier than thou.
6. Never fear asking questions or working with the GM.
7. Your character may die, acknowledge that now and forever hold your peace.
8. The cake is a lie.
9. six sentences minimum please (complete sentences, none of those three splices and a comma crap). I know this say's DETAILED and all but I am not anal about post length. I am serious on quality. So a short but well written post is perfectly acceptable. Just be sure to not make if very difficult for someone to reply to you if they need too.

**Also if you have a character that is not to be a student then simply put N/A for the Academy section and move on. If you are a graduate then just say Graduate.

Character Name: Valeria Kirya
Gender: Female
Age: 17
Appearance (picture or detailed description):
Academy Student: Highschool
Academy Year: Grade Twelve, Senior
Course: High School
Godwalker or Human: Godwalker
Sign (Name of God/dess): Sign of Thor
Any Powers or Artifacts (starting, you may lose or gain more):
Daughter of Thunder: Ability to call upon Lightning to strike in a certain area (though this is physically draining and casting more than once every three to four days is not recommended)
Relentless: As Thor relentlessly pursues his foes so does Valeria inherit some of his stamina.
Azajnr: A sword that has the ability to masquerade as a fancy fountain pen. Azajnr can transport Valeria up to 100 meters in a mighty thunderclap. The sword is inlaid with Runes capable of harming supernatural creatures and rumored to be a gift of Thor himself to his only known female Godwalker.
Bio: Valeria was born in the mountains of Scandinavia, she did not know where as she is an orphan. Brought to America mysteriously and raised by American parents in Washington State. Valeria always seemed a peculiar child, storms never bothered her, and she would gaze out her window as if expecting some person to arrive up her parents drive way.
As she grew older, around age 10, Valeria started to hear voices. Some female, and one male. It tormented her as she did not know what they were speaking. It drove her mad and her parents fearfully gave her to therapists who quickly diagnosed her as schizophrenic or prone to hallucinations. Finally a couple years later after being resigned as a crazy young girl struck by some horrible mental illness the voices became clear. As if her mind began to rewire itself; the voices called, they called her to an open field as a fierce thunderstorm enraptured the small town of Northwood. A fierce gale awoke and driving rain lashed her supple skin, dousing her fine hair and ruining her make up.
A man appeared before, carrying a hammer and a winged helm upon his fine face. His chiseled bulk and fierce reddish-blonde hair dwarfed the young girl. His voice rolled like mountains, and there it was that Thor had met the only girl born of his Sign. Valeria had met a God. Thor, however was not one to stay in one place and only visited Valeria either randomly or as a voice in her head.
Soon she began to think of him as her true father, not that she disliked her adopted parents; Bill and Janice Kirya; but, as Thor spoke to her more and more Valeria felt a certain kinship. Finally at the age of entry into High School a letter arrived at the Kirya family home. It spoke of an Academy down in California and offered her a free ride. The Kirya family couldn't believe it! Here they worried poor Valeria wouldn't be able to afford College if she didn't get good grades and scholarships. But lo and behold some account in Denmark meant to be only accessed when she turned of age to go to High School had turned up!
It was as if almost instant that Valeria was on her way to the Academy, where she proved a diligent and unrelenting student. Rising from nothing to become Student Council President. It was around her Sophomore year, around Christmas, that a gift appeared in her dorm room. It was Azajnr and a pendant depicting Mjolnir. Since then the two have never left her side in one form or another.
