Character Template

There a few things to be aware of in Gods Among Us that we will go over here so everyone's characters are on the same page.

1. All infected have a mutation that can be used to identify them. This mutation must be abnormal, though it can be small and/or concealable.

2. All infected are young and inexperienced. The spore only fused with those who are young, so this prevents deeply detailed skill sets. You are limited.

3. All infected do not have complete control of their powers... yet.

With that being said, here is the template for character creation.

Name: Ryu Haruki

Age: 17

Appearance:

Origin: Tokyo, Japan

Ryu Haruki is a 17-year-old student at Akira High School with a penchant for trouble. Getting into precarious situations, even from an early age, has been something of a hobby for Ryu and it helps him cope with his inner demons. Before becoming infected, Ryu's life was already a roller coaster, so dealing with the drastic nature of life after infection came easy to him. He has spent the last few weeks maintaining his appearances, doing what he can to avoid capture at all costs. Try as he might, his powers are still unstable and will sometimes hinder rather than help him. As of now, he is focused on expanding the limits of his powers and attempting to find the source of his abilities as a side project, all while maintaining his presence at school and home, pretending to be normal so he doesn't arouse suspicion and find himself the next to be captured by ZenTech.

Personality: Ryu is a trouble maker, always keen on getting himself into predicaments that will draw all attention to him. He's hot-headed and prone to moments of instability. Beneath that, he is an intelligent young man with high aspirations, but often finds himself on a downward spiral due to his aggression or even self-sabotage in certain instances. Delving deeper into his subconscious would reveal that he is lonely, afraid of building strong relationships, romantic or otherwise, under the pretense that whoever he opens up to will eventually leave him. This makes developing friendships and romances difficult, as it takes a patient person to stand beside him for long.

Mutation: Yellow Eyes ( They will glow like the sun when Ryu's powers are active )

Powers: Heliokinesis - The Control of Solar Powers

As of now, Ryu's abilities are limited, allowing him to access certain fire attacks at will, though he cannot always control it. As he progresses with his powers, he will learn more about what empowers him, certain augmentations to his abilities ( like gravity, light, etc. ) and other facets that will round out what he can and cannot accomplish through his Solar control.

Ultimate Ability: Rebirth - The ultimate ability gifted to Ryu is that of Rebirth, which allows him to revive himself from the dead, memories and powers in tact. This process is taxing and will leave him down and out for several days. Having this power, coupled with his personality, makes Ryu extremely reckless in life or death situations.

Misc: Wears sunglasses to hide his eye mutation - Loves spicy foods - Desperately seeking approval from someone willing to get close to him - Smokes frequently

Levithiana Koroona

16 years old


Appearance:

Levi, or Thiana, stands at about 5'6" with a weight of 100 lbs. She has a small structure with a flat chest. Her pale complexion makes her abnormal red eye stand out as well as her new white hair. She tends to wear jeans, with plain tees and sometimes wear a vest, like in the picture above, with her usual black headphones. With her plain outfit she wears black Converse.

Jonava, Lithuania


She was born in this town and grew up in it for about 4 years but then moved to America. Therefore she learned the English language rather than her native language in Lithuania. Lithuania grew up in a household of five, her being in the middle between an older brother and younger sister. Leading to her being more independent and not as noticed, since it may seem as a false statement but in reality, the middle child is really ignored. But her parents didn't ignore her on purpose, it is just that she was the normal and well behaved child. Her brother excelled her and overshadowed her while her younger sister was spoiled and needed attention. Levi didn't mind but she did grow up seeking friends. But since she was at the top of the class and held the looks of a nerd, she was bullied upon. Levi lived with this harassment for years until she was finally offered a program in her school to continue her education in Tokyo as an exchange student. Eager for change and escape she accepted.





Personality:


She holds no trust for strangers, only ones close to her. From her past she has become shy and skittish, hesitant to began conversations. This also causes her to have a great fear of presenting. Levi enjoys staying within the shadows and excelling from there. She strives for high grades though and always gets on the good side of adults. Levi can be generous and kind-hearted once she warms up to you. But if needed she will cooperate with others and hear them out. For the most part, Levi hates being told that she is wrong, since she has been told this all her life. She is self-conscious about everything. Levi is quite intelligent though, especially in biology and chemistry. She becomes a completely different person when it comes to these subjects. She tends to become assertive and brave. Levi will be able to tell you most of what she knows about these subjects. She tends to hold the tiniest of grudges but never acts upon repairing damages. Levi tends to inflict pain upon herself sometimes, not physically just mentally.





Mutation:


Her beautiful caramel hair changed to a white color. One of her eyes has changed to red while the other has lost sight upon the world except it can see the foundations of things if opened. Because of this, she wears an eyepatch over the eye that can see compounds.





Powers:


Elemental Transmutation


She has the ability to change the matter of an object. But to do this she must completely understand the compound do that she wishes to change the object to. Seeing as how she is at the peak of instability, whatever she touches at the moment with enough concentration changes to diamond, a compound she has studied about for years.





Ultimate Ability:


Materialization - Her ultimate ability would be able to change the phases of gases into actual solids. Since gases are spacious and more apart it is hard for her to grasp and change the type of compounds of the gas.





Misc:


She used to wear glasses before the change, but since the Mutation her eyesight has improved and returned back to normal.

Name: Carrie Martin


Age: 16


Description: Slim and tall, with green eyes and brown hair. She prefers to wear blue jeans and bright T-shirts, and she's almost never out in public without her Phillies baseball cap.


Mutation: Gray skin


Origin: Philadelphia, PA; foreign exchange student


Personality: Hard-living and driven, Carrie is constantly pushing herself both physically and mentally. She doesn't like to make friends, preferring to keep to herself. In public, she's very quiet and reserved. In short, she's the kind of girl that would rather be reading a book in her room or working out in the backyard instead of going on a shopping trip.


Powers: Geokinesis- can control earth and rocks


At present, her abilities consist of raising earthen barriers, but they will eventually include causing earthquakes and creating earthen golems


Ultimate ability: Golem's Heart- can turn herself into living rock, giving her super strength and making her nearly invulnerable

Personality:

Since Icarus has a tendency to speak in monotone (regardless of facial expressions)he comes off as a bit of an enigma-making it difficult to discern sarcasm from sincerity. Typically gets along with others using little effort, only expressing hatred if given reason to.


His random acts of silliness are a sign that he's not as robotic as he likes everyone to think and certainly feels emotion in spite of a disinterested face-but his motivations are unknown. Blandly follows orders and doesn't seem to question his role in the organization.

Metallic spikes atop his head as well as the metal ear pieces protruding from one side of his head to the other.

Powers:

Technokinesis- Control over Technology


Technokinesis is the mental manipulation of electronic and digital technology so that they can be controlled without the need for physical contact, and can be made to move and function like controlled puppets.

Ultimate Ability:

Icarus' ultimate ability is being able to shut down anything being powered by electricity(electronics) within a 5 mile vicinity. He's incapable of moving afterwards as it releases much of his energy, often times he'll simply fall unconcious form the strain if used.

Misc:

Often wears hats to hide his robotic traits.


Is terrified of himself to an extent now that he is capable of so much.

Chinoku Fushakana

Appearance

Small, fragile, and childish looking, he could easily pass as a 13 year old. Blond haired and green eyed. Very tan, he often wears graphic tees, jeans and a hoodie.

Origin

Osaka, Japan

Born into a wealthy household, Chinoku is used to the easy life. His parents were the owners of the ever powerful Hakobu Company, the biggest name in the transportation industry. Living in this environment of wealth, he never had to grow up and to take responsibility, resulting in his child-like behavior. This went on for 14 years. He learned proper social manners and how to run the family business, yet he knew little of the world outside. That changed when a group of investigative reporters found out a dark secret that Chinoku never truly knew. His parents used a very dangerous, and toxic material in there line of work, not only endangering the workers, but they dumped it into the ocean, resulting in the gigantic fish death and falter of the fishing industry. Parents put in jail, he was forced to live with his uncle, whom his parents neglected. A good role model, he helped Chinoku learn how to function in the real world, and was teaching him how to work and take responsibility when the spore happened.




Personality

Chinoku is extremely childish, having trouble taking anything literally. With his only sense of carefulness having come from his Uncle, he is quite gullible and welcoming of others, often treating strangers as if they were friends. Having always read comic books and dreamed gaining superpowers, he feels quite mixed feelings about what has happened to him. Although stubborn, he often realizes others know more than him and tends to take the role of follower. He is always there to help out a friend. He doesnt know what to do in most situations and often is very, very scared.


Mutation

His feet and ears have become black and rotten, looking demonic.

His feet has also grown largely in size compared to the rest of his body.




Powers

Can turn water into an corrosive, poisonous acid, which he can then control. This sludge does damage when put in contact with human skin. It does more damage if it can get inside the human body. Can also burn through very weak materials.






Ultimate Ability

Can turn 2 peoples blood into this sludge substance, either choosing to kill them, or with even greater effort, control them temporarily.

It takes tremendous effort to do the first version,

while the second will leave him useless afterwards.

Misc

Obsessed with superheroes (especially ManAqua), stuffed animals, and chocolate

Hates dirt and filth.

Has a stuffed animal named Mr. TickleTuffs whom he cares about very much.

Before the infection Niklaus led a busy life in Sweden being recognised as a genius from a young age and also dealing with failing health at the same time. He didn't go to school that much because he didn't feel like it and mostly spent time studying away in his own self built library. He moved to Japam at the age of 16 and had already learned the language prior. Being infected didn't influence his life much because even before he was a bit of a recluse but he still had attempts to avoid capture and to make sure he didn't attract much attention to himself. He is still trying to master his abilities and to see the extent of his abilities but at the same time he still maintains appearances outside. He currently studies in a Japanese high school and is also somewhat trying to build relationships.

Personality

Niklaus is often regarded as a strange person, he is extremely sarcastic and seems to find life infinitely amusing and infinitely tragic at the same time. He can be very witty, charming and intelligent but at the same time he will be oblivious and ignorant to peoples feelings. He has good intentions but often doesn't show it with his attitude and his indifference to tue situation he's in. Despite his initial attitude, he often uses it as a mechanism so that people don't see him for who he is. He os often quiet until he finds the need to comment.

Mutation

He has markings all over his back which tend to slightly illuminate when using his power.

Powers

Power Steal - The Ability to Copy ones power or use their energy for himself.

As of now his ability is quite limited and is only able to take peoples energy in order to allow him to heal quicker or to be faster other than that he's only ever copied another persons power once and can only use it for a limited time period even then it isn't at its full potential, it'll take him a lot of time to learn to control it.

Ultimate Ability

Paralysis - His ultimate ability would be stealing up until the person wouldn't be able to use their own senses and/or would be paralysed permanently but in doing so he would also be giving out a lot of energy himself and would have to spend a lot of days of recovery in regaining it.​

Name: Beatrice May Londer

Appearance:

Origin:

Beatrice grew up in Tokyo with her Step mother and father they were quite rich and she could have been given anything she wanted but her father was always on business trips so her stepmother looked after her well I don't think you could call it looking after she didn't care about beatrice and spent all the money on herself leaving beatrice to fend for herself. The only thing Beatrice had was her mothers old clothes and her Cello the practiced at all times and eventually auditioned for a prestigious music school and she got excepted on a full scholarship she lives at the school and studies there now and is planning on attending Julliard next year.

Personality: Beatrice is kind and sweet always helping others before herself she loves being kind to everyone around her. She is artistic and always takes her Cello and sketchpad with her. Beatrice has a creative mind and always comes up with unique ideas she loves speaking her mind but is never rude or unkind even when her opinion is fought against. please do not get on her bad side because she is a worthy companion and can help you in the darkest of times except if you do don't get in a twist because she finds in hard to hold grudges.

Mutation: Her blonde hair turned Ice white and her tanned skin paled into an ivory colour and her skin forever is cold like a corpse. Her eyes turned an apple red that somehow doesn't make her look menacing.

Powers: Hypnotic Music:

When beatrice plays her Cello or sings anyone who hears it becomes entranced following her every whim

Users can use music to affect or directly influence other peoples minds to their commands.

Nature Manipulation:


BEatrice can control the elements and manipulate them she likes manipulating them with her voice and with her cello even though she could do it with just her hands. She likes controlling the wind best as it starts gently and ends in a cacophony of sound and terror when she uses fire it usually gets out of hand because she finds it hard to control her self.


Because of her ability she is good at picking out natural cures and poisons in plants.

Name: Kuro Yoshinobu

Age: 16

Appearance: (Can't currently supply a picture as I'm using a laggy computer) Kuro wears a gray shirt with a blue unzipped jacket accompanying it. He wears black rubber gloves, and is never seen without them.

Origin: Kuro grew up in Nevada, Las Vegas, because his parents divorced and his mother didn't want to take him, so his father did. He's lived a poor life, with his father having drinking problems and gambling problems. More than once Kuro has had to supply food and money for his father and himself to use for survival.

Personality: Kuro likes to keep to himself, not telling anyone else about his troubles. This is a mighty disadvantage, but Kuro is also extremely intelligent, solving college problems when he was in fifth grade. He's very independent, and hates to make others do things for him, even if he's injured.

Mutation: Kuro now has black markings on his face, which are random in shape and size, along with his hands and eyes changing colors. He never noticed his eyes, but he certainly noticed his hands. He immediately covered them up with the rubber gloves he's never seen without.

Powers:


Shape-shift

Kuro can shapeshift into any living being, but as of the moment, he can only shape-shift into small things The biggest thing he's shape-shifted into would be a baby seal, but nothing bigger so far.

Ultimate Ability:


Burst

Kuro can rapidly increase his speed, reaching the speed of sound at most the way he can control it now. He can do this without hurting himself, but this wears him out to the point of blacking out. He rarely uses it because of this very reason.​

Anthony's eyes glow dimly, but noticably, and glowing (when in use) seal of a vortex on the back of Anthony's neck. The vortex gives him the power to take apart his being and fabricate it elsewhere.

Personality:

Anthony is a caring, selfless, easygoing, and mellow guy. He is almost slways there for his friends, and will do his best to make sure they're happy and content before worrying about himself. Because of this Anthony bottles up hos own problems and troubles. He had put himself in the position of 'the shoulder to cry on' and the guy anyone can talk to about advice, a common conversation, his opinion, or just for someone to listen. But when Anthony is tired, he can be unpleasant to be around as he can be grouchy. Especially early in the morning, as he seemingly can't wake up properly even if he wanted to.

Powers:

Anthony has the ability to teleport himself, along with other people and things to a different location. However the further he goes and the more he takes with him, Anthony uses more energy. At times he may faint because of exhaustion from prolonged usage of his ability or not getting enough sleep.

Teleportation is not painful, as one may believe, but it is definitly strange to feel. With Anthony's teleportation, he takes a being or object, metaphorically and literally takes it apart, and fabricates it elswhere. To someone unused to the sensation, it would feel similar to being stretched.

At the moment, the furthest Anthony can teleport away is 1/4 of a kilometer on his own without passing out. (1mi=1.6km)

Ultimate ability:

She has inherited her dark hair and slim figure from her mom, but her dark blue eyes from her dad. She stands at 5'3, and her facial features are unique from her mixed genes.


Origin:

She was born in New York to a Japanese woman and a Russian man. Because her father's work involved him going on a business trip once a month, she spent most of her time with her mom/her mom's side of the family and picked up Japanese as a language. When she was thirteen, her dad died of cancer. By the time she was fourteen, her mom insisted they leave New York for Japan, so they left for Tokyo. She could speak Japanese fluently, but had little experience with reading and writing it, which gave her a major disadvantage.


Personality:


She is witty and charismatic, with a sharp tongue that she has trouble holding back. She is a strong believer in justice and will speak out against it if she sees fit. She is outgoing and extroverted, but not exactly loud or rambunctious. She can be shallow, prideful, and judgmental if she isn't careful and often has to keep herself in check. She is selfish, but is often doing selfless deeds in a hopeless attempt to change that. She has a temper, but has different ways to releasing her flares based on her mood. She is known to be quite moody. She is incredibly loyal and easy going, but this changes quickly if she dislikes you. Sometimes she dislikes people for no reason whatsoever, and holds grudges until the end. She is very stubborn and can be impatient. She is also emotionally vulnerable.


Mutation:


Her eyes changed color from a dark blue to a deep violet, but the change is barely noticeable. She also had this mark appear on her left hip.


Powers:


Sublimation/Air mimicry:


She can transform into gas or air, which enables her to be invisible as well. When she's in this state, she can also pass through solids or change her form as air.


Currently, she has little control of her abilities and when she changes, she can only change into gas most of the time. Her transformations are currently heavily affected by her mood. Because she's so unstable, the feeling she gets when she changes is very uncomfortable and odd, almost unrecognizable.


Ultimate Ability:

Her ultimate ability is the ability to transform other materials, particularly people, into this gas/air as well. However, she'll have to guide their changed form as soon as they transform, because they won't know what to do. It's hard enough to change her own molecular structure..but to transfer that same ability to someone else and change them as well, it takes a lot of constraint and skill.


Misc:


Although her right hand is her dominant one, she writes with her left.

This was what I could come up with. I might edit a few things later, so feel free to let me know of anything you want me to change. You may also approve it now if you feel it's acceptable, and I'll just leave it as-is, I suppose.


Name: Nemuru Kushinada

Origin: Nemuru was born just outside of Tokyo, under the famous Yusuke Kushinada, known for his position as co-founder of ZenTech. Ever since she was born, her father had no time for her, so all she had was her mother. At age eight, her mother died from an illness nobody knew she even had, leaving Nemuru to run off on her own, knowing her father wouldn't take care of her. She lived with a kind man for the next two years before the whole ZenTech spore incident.


Personality: Nemuru is a kind girl, though tends to hide her emotions completely, leaving her with a girl who simply states the facts, and tells her opinions without regard to what most people care. She'll show emotion around you if you can become close with her.


Mutation: Her eyes went from purple to red, and her hair from purple to white. Due to this, when she wants to walk among normal people, she dies her hair, and wears contact lenses. Her powers, whenever used, cause her hair to return to white, the dye completely vanishing. She wears a mask at almost all times while using her powers, in the event somebody could recognize her by face.


Powers: Nemuru's able to warp time and space, allowing for the slowing down or speeding up of time, as well as the creation of solid images of herself. She also will have the ability to practically vanish whenever she wants once strong enough. Neither her ability to control time nor create images are anywhere close to perfected yet.


Ultimate Ability: Her strongest power is the summoning of impossible creations, such as dark matter, as well as the creation of solid objects that don't actually exist, such as a giant version of her scythe, which has absolutely no weight to her, yet weighs too much for anybody else to hold.


Misc: Constantly carries a scythe around while in her power form.

Appearance:


Eyes: Honey Brown,Hair: Sandy Brown Height: 5'6" Weight: 120lbs


Ari's Natural hair color is a sandy brown but she likes to dye odd highlights into it at random intervals. Her current Highlights are a teal color. She is usually seen in her school uniform (Above) How ever she will wear a dark blue jacket or hoodie over it. When out of uniform her clothes are rather casual and bit on the punk-ish side perfecting dark colors.





Origin:

Lived a pretty normal life with. Both of her parents working full time jobs as doctors so Ariana had little contact with them. Instead she looked after by babysitters and sat in front of a TV most of the time. Like most kids she became hooked on technology and was always seen playing some sort of portable device if she wasn't on her phone or tablet. Due to her parents being doctors there are expectation for her to follow in their footsteps, despite not really wanting to get into medicine. While she might not want to go into medicine she does enjoy science and studies the books she was given. Ari slackes off in school and barely pays attention but due to her memory she will usually pass with a B.


Ari found out she was infected by pure accident shocked someone during a small confrontation. She has seen many others shot and killed for showing any hint of power and has been trying to lay low while learning how to use her powers. Her main goal is to not get shot by military.





Personality:


Ariana has always had a curious mind and loved to learn. When she wasn't one some kind of device her nose was in a book usually related to science in a way. She tends to soak up information like a sponge and has an Eidetic memory which is both good and bad. She can remember anything shes studied but also cannot forget any horrors has seen either. She tends to get bored easily which leads her to causing trouble. When interacting with others she's blunt and straight to the point. She does have a mean streak with in her that tends to be on the sadistic side which is why she tends to stay away from people. Not because she's worried about hurting someone but rather she doesn't want to get in trouble. She's not above messing with anyone for the sake of fun or playing tricks. She likes to test her abilities on anyone unfortunate enough to confront her.


Mutation:


Strange blue markings appeared which bare a striking resemblance to a lightning. The markings start in the center of her back branching out in all directions for a few inches. Two branches reach out to her shoulders and down both of her arms to her wrists





Powers:

Electrokinesis


Ability to absorb, store and manipulate electricity. In order to release lightning bolts or any kind of electricity she needs to have a source. Her body can absorb and store a certain amount of electricity. When releasing massive amounts of electricity some does backfire a cause her muscles to cramp up. She also tends to have a lot of static so she wears gloves so she won't shock people.

Ultimate Ability:

Super Charge


Once she has reached the limit of how much electricity she can store Ari can discharge it all in one go as a massive outburst spading a radius of 20-25 meters causing massive damage. She has only a minor degree of control over this but is largely random and strikes are naturally attracted to metal objects.

Misc:


- The more electricity she stores up the brighter her markings glow.


- Due to her markings she will always been seen with a jacket or hoodie of some sort and gloves.


- Due to her knowledge of medicine Ari knows what effect electricity has on the body and how to manipulate currents to have effects on the nervous system. She is still learning how to control the currents and regimenting with her powers.

Name: Aiden Moloy


Age: 16


Appearance:

Origin: Aiden was born in County Monoghan, Ireland, to a (mostly) loving family. He had two older brothers who loved to tease him mercilessly. One day, he went with his parents on a business trip to Tokyo, but when it came time to leave his parents just up and vanished. They weren't wealthy, and having three children to take care of was too much, so they abandoned him. He's spent the last several years wandering around the city, finding food and work where he could, though he could never make enough to afford his own place. He knows a bit of Japanese, though the heavy Irish accent makes his Japanese horrible to listen to.


Things were alright for a while, until he was infected by the spore. After a night of restless sleep he woke up with longer ears and a tail, which he's been trying to hide with little success. Normally he sleeps in one of his hidden spots during the day and comes out at night, thus starting a rumor of a Kasai Akuma wandering the streets of Tokyo...


Personality: Aiden has a fairly short temper, due to his nationality. He can handle dealing with others for the most part, but his fiery temper tends to get out of control for no real reason. He's normally a fairly sociable person, but because of his mutations he can't really hide them very well, thus he puts himself in self-induced solitude.


Mutation: His eyes turned a bright yellow, and his ears lengthened to long points. He also sprouted a tail, about three feet in length. It's long and thin, mostly hairless aside from a red tuft of fur at the very tip. His teeth are sharper than normal, which causes him not to smile very often.


Powers: Pyrokinesis.


He can create sources of flame and project them, though he's not entirely accurate. He's not immune to his own fire, so he tends to burn himself pretty severely at times. His preferred tactic is to surprise an enemy with a burst of flame from his mouth and run.


Ultimate Ability: Final transformation.


Aiden can transform into a massive creature akin to a fire demon, but only if he's under enough stress and pain to trigger the change. He can't control when he transforms, and when he changes he has no control over himself. He changes back when his strength is completely depleted, and he seriously injures himself every time he changes.


Misc: For his young age, he has a fondness for good whiskey. You know, being Irish and all.

Name: Supido Pasu

Appearance:

Origin: For his entire life, Pasu has always been moving forward, running, a exhausting cycle that seems to almost make him die out every single day. When he was born, Pasu was quickly held as his family's pride and joy, a fact that he held highly, until he realized just how much of a burden those words carried. As the "pride and joy", Pasu was forced to work harder than any other child his age on things that most would find ridiculous. One of the most abnormal things he was trained in was the Art of Sprinting. Pasu came from a long line of Runners, people who in the past, before cars and other means of communication, would run for days on end to deliver messages. The Art was put away after the knowledge of horses became huge, but the families who provided the runners still taught the ways of their Art, until it eventually lead back to the reluctantly waiting arms of Pasu. With the comments of "Running is in our blood" all around him, Pasu couldn't help, but find passion in the Art as well, but he still found it burdening. For he was not only made to practice his running each day, he also had to take specialized jobs such as "On-Foot Pizza Delivery" and "On-Foot Mailman" which he was told would give him valuable insight to how Runner works. His family also placed him onto his school's Track Team without his knowledge when he first got into Middle School.


Personality: A trait shared by his entire family, Pasu dislikes waiting and have almost no concept of Patience, an attribute many family friends say is related to how they are taught the Art of Sprinting from a young age. Pasu is also free-willed in the way he thinks, as well as rather laid back. However, do not let this fool you on his determination. Due to his training, Pasu has a special mindset that all past Runners were said to have which allows him to ignore his own needs and health, such as food, sleep, and comfort, for the good of many. Pasu takes this mindset a bit too far, developing a habit of being too selfless and forgetting to care about his own needs. Pasu is also rather unfamiliar with technology as his family scorns the overuse of the advanced transportation, wishing for the old ways of Sprinting to make a reappearance.


Mutation: Other than his head, Pasu possesses no body hair to decrease wind-resistance, a fact his family believes was intentional and was done by Pasu himself. Pasu also has very dense leg muscles that seem to be made of solid stone, but still very lean and keeping with he way his body was trained and molded into being.


Powers: Enhanced Speed


Due to how the spores reacted to his innate DNA, Pasu was given the ability to run at super fast speeds, as well as a denser body to surpass the limit of speed a human can withstand. However, this increased speed does not only increase the speed of his body, but also his metabolism, to keep up with the amount of calories he burns, and his regeneration, giving him a slight bonus of healing small wounds faster than normal humans.


Ultimate Ability: Pasu can enter into a "Overcharge State" which increases his maximum speed by ten times. When he is in this state, the veins in his legs, as well as around his eyes and other parts of his body will bulge and increase the amount of blood flowing. This also increases his metabolism and healing process in the same amount as his speed. With this Overcharge, Pasu can easily reach speeds approaching, and even surpassing, the speed of light.


However, Overcharge puts a lot of stress on Pasu's body, as even his denser make-up can not withstand the extreme speeds without repercussions. His skin can be torn in many places while in Overcharge, and the ability makes his blood very thin, transforming any minor wound into a possibly fatal affliction.


Misc: Due to his increased metabolism, Pasu is often broke from buying overpriced sweets from the stores around the city, making his need to work jobs more necessary.

Komachi is a freshmen in college. She wants to be a writer. She lived a pretty normal life until her powers came. She is still very new at this. She has no idea shat the wings in her back mean. But the black one tends to burn and hurt sometimes. And gold dust seems to appear from her hands from time to time.


Personality: Komachi kind and shy, and likes to read books and write. However once angered enough, she will snap and release her temper. She works at the library and often spends time writing stories. Her dream is to become a write.


Mutation: Has a tattoo of butterfly wings on her back. One is black the other is white.


Powers: controls nature. She can control plants and animals. Can also create some gold dust.


Ultimate Ability: doesn't know yet she just got them.

Ash is of an average height at 5'5", and has short, dyed blond hair.


When dressing he doesn't really stick to one style, preferring sweaters one day, a t-shirt and a hoodie the next, or a button-up shirt, etc. If it goes with what she's wearing that day, they'll usually wear black, well-fitted jeans or shorts.



Origin:

Comes from an American middle-class family of four and had a fairly normal childhood.


Started learning Japanese at a young age, and came to Japan in a student exchange program.


They have recently discovered the existence of their abilities, and is very frightened about the fact that other people with similar abilities are being hunted down. Currently, Ashton is primarily concerned with not being found out.



Personality:

So far Ash has found that they're able to keep their ability under control and not shift unconsciously...


Except, there's a few rather unnerving things that seem to refuse to go away much to Ash's dismay, and she's rather worried about them.


A mouth below the back of his neck and an eye on their left shoulder, along with the uncanny feeling that when she looks in the mirror things just seem a bit

off.


Their body seems to be slightly changing (eg, shoulders being smaller than usual, finger longer, nose rounder, etc.), but it's not something someone that didn't know him well or see them on a regular basis would notice.



Powers:

Metamorphosis- The ability to physically change one's appearance, but not into a form that isn't humanoid in appearance.


In addition, one would have to understand how the body structure would work in order to shift into it. For example, something like claws is easy to understand how it would work with someone's body, but something like additional arms would take some thinking on one's part because it requires figuring out how the bones and muscles would work and where it would connect to their body and fit in with their other muscles and limbs and etc.


Were one to try to use this ability have have basically no knowledge of how the structure they are trying to form or alter works, the results would most likely be very unfavorable.


Minor changes in appearance can be caused by strong emotions in users that do not have great control over their ability.



Ultimate Ability:

As metamorphosis is basically having control over one's flesh and blood and bone, if someone were to gain ultimate control and understanding of their ability, they would be able to control other people's bodies.


For example, a user of this particular ability might be able to force other people's limbs to move or cause minor physical changes to their body.


However, this is a lot more difficult to do and would take complete concentration and focus, leaving the user mentally worn out and more vulnerable to attack while using the ability.



Misc:

Ashton is nonbinary and would prefer if people used either they/them pronouns, or use he/him and she/her pronouns equally.


However, because she has not made any good friends yet here in Japan, and because the culture's views are different on matters like these, he is not explicitly out yet. They keep dressing androgynously, and prefer to simply not say anything on the matter of gender, letting people just assume for themselves. She finds it a bit amusing at times.
