Okay! Welcome everyone, to Glitch!! The character sign-up tab is up and filled out, and I recommend taking a look through the Setting and Organizations tabs to see about some off the stuff that's already in this world. I know it's all kinda detailed, but the actual roleplay itself will be fairly laid back, hence why it's set to Casual.

I'm going to create a male android character. I would like someone rich/CEO/crazy solo inventor/idk to pick him up as a servant. If no one's interested I'll come up with some reason for his existing. Just contact me/post here so we can coordinate. :3

Sounds good! I've been planning on playing the Enlil Corp CEO, but since he kinda starts off the story in jail, that wouldn't actually do anyone any good if they want regular interaction xD I'm sure someone will step up to the plate though! And if not, I promise I'll help you figure something out.

Okay! The opening post is up - this means the RP is officially open for posting (even though technically the only other RPer atm is Giy). Once I've accepted your characters, you will also be able to post freely! Though Warlock is physically isolated, he can be communicated with if you want to respond directly to him.
 
Holy cow. Happened across this whole browsing the forum list, and I'm finding it very hard to resist wanting to be involved.

Incidentally, are you going to take issue with a batch of medical nanobots gaining a rogue AI and going all hunter on people? I used to play a Star Wars tabletop as a mentally broken medical droid, and I want to revisit that idea.


If that's not okay, I've some other ideas. :)

Nah, sounds totally cool! Isn't there a Marvel villain like that? Swarm, I think. Saw it in an episode of the Ultimate Spiderman cartoon. Go for it!


EDIT: I should clarify, I mean the nanobot with AI thing, not the medical bot detail. xD
 
Mkay, cool. I'm taking inspiration from Michael Crichton's 'Prey', if you've ever read that. Though you've got me curious about Swarm. I'll have to check that out, too.

Our idea is basically Pent was a droid that assisted Enlil company developers. When their assets were frozen, they encrypted important data to his HD that only the CEO/head devs can retrieve. His memory was then wiped, and they threw him in a trash receptacle to avoid having him seized by the police. He would then recently be found by a computer collector (probably playing out meeting). Would that be all right?

It occurs to me that perhaps making a profile for the Enlil CEO would be a good idea. I'll get to work on that.
