As for her wardrobe, she is often seen wearing the same pink floral dress in every occasion she attends. Perhaps its her favorite?

Personality: Francine is a woman of poise and a very polite individual. To be well-mannered and to humor the bachelors with respect, she has been trained her whole life for this long awaited day. She must appear flawless to be desired- and if she was to fall, she must stand up with grace. It is taxing yes, but this is a path she must take. As the only remaining family member of Viscountess Berkeley, Francine lived a strict life, constantly having to live up to her mothers expectations. Still, she chooses to understand the reason behind her mother's strict ways. She believes that this is a long game of pretend and endurance that will benefit them in the near future.

Francine comes from one of the most respected and illustrious families in Glimmerbrooke. Lord Berkeley, her father, was able to stand well upholding his title and fulfilling his duties as a viscount. However, as they say, the more success you achieve, the more you attract gazes of envy around you.

The bliss of this household began to shatter when the Viscount was involved in a past scandal and was sentenced to jail by the Royal Family. After a few days since the issue, he was seen lifeless in his cell and was soon announced dead. As the news spread it caused an uproar of rumors and assumptions among the public, but they never got to unveil the truth behind his sudden death. Siena Berkeley, now a widow, had to take matters on her own for the one person she depended on has already left this world.

Francine was only but a child when this happened. She had a hard time understanding the unfortunate events that had been happening in their household. While her mother was surviving this battle alone, the little miss was lucky enough to meet a new friend. A new friend in which she never knew his name, but their times spent together will always be a fond memory imprinted on her mind.

In the absence of her mother, the love and attention this young girl craved were hardly fed. Francine could barely see at least a glimpse of her mother's shadow for she was busy taking on the job that her husband stacked upon them. She lived her days in an empty dollhouse alone and untouched. However, meeting this young boy gave color and excitement to her world. His company mended the loneliness that was starting to swallow her. But these happy moments were soon cut off when the Berkeley Household had to move away from Glimmerbrooke. With the way things were hasted, Francine left with her mother, unable to bid farewell to the boy.

More than a decade have passed, the Berkeleys are now back to participate in this season's upcoming events. Francine has grown into a fine young woman, ready to take on the challenges of Glimmerbrooke.

It is said that Queen Lucretia was born under the moonless night and just like the midnight sky on that evening, so were her eyes and hair thus creating a contrast to her pale complexion. People often find themselves puzzled by the woman's nearly blank expression, something she was quite known for. They say her stares are as emotionless as the hailstorm.

Only on rare occasions does the Queen wear bright-colored outfits, and lately, as a tribute to her late husband she has only been wearing dark clothing.
Personality:
The Queen had rarely formed any bonds as she grew into the person that she is today. Only a select few servants knew what she had been through, those whom the Queen knew served Her and not just the Crown. People knew her to be a workaholic, her days spent doing her duties to the Crown, whether it was when she was wed or widowed. The only time her people saw her was during occasions that needed her presence, needed her judgement such as at the Ball of the Season, where people expect her to choose who is the "Diamond of the Season." Despite this, her decisions for other Monarchial matters are based on logic, the best course of action, and common sense... if the need arises, she is willing to show sympathy to those worthy.

The life of the Princess was never one to reach the public ears. All they knew was that twins were born from Queen Olivia and that they had led a healthy life. Only on a few occasions did the Royal Twins reveal themselves to the public. Lucretia was reserved and quiet, while Laurant was rambunctious and proud.

The two had always been inseparable since they were born, and the only thing that separated them was death. At a young age, Lucretia had been betrothed to a young boy from another Kingdom, much to her dismay. By age thirteen, Laurant died. Taken by an unknown sickness with no cure. Grief had taken over their family, and her father had to turn to her to continue their bloodline. After three years her mother died of a broken heart, Queen Olivianever got over the death of her son and could not bear to look at her own daughter for they bore the same face.

By seventeen, her father followed soon after. He could not bear to be apart from his wife. After a year of mourning, she married Duke Vincent Wabberlock who married into the Trovieté name. Two years later he, too, died. Lucretia was then called the Queen of Death, not that she gave it much care. It has been over a year since her son, Martienne was born and since she got back on her two feet she started working again hence the reason why servants see her as a workaholic.

- A Welsh immigrant who left her country for a better life. Brooklyn was born in poverty, having spent most of her conscious childhood working in farm fields and accepting laundries. Despite all the hard work, she and her family have never experienced any luxury in life. A big part of this was due to the rampant corruption in her home country, preventing anyone in the lower class from climbing the pyramid regardless of efforts.
  
  A plague struck Brooklyn’s hometown when she was 19 years old, causing the loss of both of her parents. Devastated and afraid to suffer the same fate, Brooklyn snuck into a ship one night. Though the journey has been arduous and winding, she eventually found herself in the kingdom of Casterlot.
  
  The ship offered very little resources for stowaways such as herself; thus, Brooklyn had been weak and starving for days when an old lady stumbled upon her. The kind stranger fed her and took her into her humble home, where she eventually restored her strength and learned that the grandma was a senior maid in the palace. After knowing that Brooklyn had nowhere else to go, the old lady decided to teach her the ways of housekeeping and proper etiquette.
  
  It took a year for the old lady to take her to the palace and endorse her as a new servant. Pleased to finally have a stable job, Brooklyn tried to blend into her new environment as much as she could. Unfortunately, due to her striking appearance and pushover personality, she was often the subject of the ridicules of her fellow servants or the advances of bored guards. Occassionally, even passing nobles would take interest, leaving her at their mercy.
  
  Nonetheless, Brooklyn did her best to serve the palace as much as she could. As the years went by, she received the opportunity to work closer with the Queen as one of the caretakers of her newborn. Impressed by her skills, Her Majesty fostered a friendship with Brooklyn that blossomed enough for her to be chosen as her handmaiden.

Aloof and even dismissive, the man dislikes social occasions and would rather be found dead in the battlefield than prance around the dancefloor. That said, he's unafraid to voice out any concerns that he might have even though it may not take long enough for him to resort to violence. He is fond of friendly competitions and often participates in duels and horse racing. He typically has an objective view of everyone he meets, a perspective born out of necessity. As his late father had said, it'd do him well to view his soldiers as resources rather than individuals with families to come back to.

- The Marshall is one of the most esteemed houses in Casterlot, possessing large retinues which they would willingly contribute to the palace's standing army whenever the need arises. The family rules the earldom of Northwright up north, separated from the capital by a range of mountains. The harsh terrain makes it difficult for the Capital and Northwright to reach one another, consequentially making it arduous for the Marshall to communicate with the royal family and the rest of the Glimmerbrooke nobles. Admittingly, the distance has been putting a slight strain between the two factions - which is why the Marshall thought it wise to send the young Master to the royal gala.

Bio:
Cosette, born to a rather wealthy high-ranking family in the heart of France. She lived a rather luxurious lifestyle for the current time period, as her family spoiled her siblings and her quite often as a homage to her Père often being gone away doing work related stuff for the country. Not that she minded much as she was able to be free, run around in a pair of pants and get muddy from playing with her siblings, or helping the Family's workers do things around her father's property. A thing that would never be allowed if her Père was home. It was always "Wear a dress! Be a proper lady!", getting an earful out of her Maman who only put on an act of caring when her Père was around, and the moment he wasn't she'd skip off to do who knows what acting as if her kids never existed leaving them often with the helpers they had hired. Who were honestly paid quite well for the time being.

As Cosette grew older she grew more and more resentful towards her parents, becoming a bit more reluctant to obey their class standards. Often stealing her brothers' pants as they were just much more comfortable, especially for horseback riding, and hunting. Hunting in a dress with an oversized skirt was never pleasant. The worst of all by her father's standards was of course having a crush on a girl from the other side of the town. The two would meet up time to time, but nothing ever really went far in that brief period as soon as they were caught one day, it didn't take long for Cosette's family to find out, or for the family of the girl to suddenly disappear from town overnight with all their belongings gone. Oh, how that broke the camel's back her family called her a disgrace and kept on dramatically telling her she'd be gone in no time for disgracing them. Whether it be alive, or on the other side of the country, married to one of her father's friend's relatives of his choice.

Cosette a bit ticked off told her father no, she'd not be married to whoever he wanted her to marry, and that she was a free person. Something that her Père did not take lightly too. Telling her to go to her room.

The pink haired girl very angry at the time, did not go to her room, instead she collected quite a bit of money from her Papa's savings after he had gone to bed. Enough to live off of for a long while, along with some of his more valuable objects n gold. She secured them in a saddlebag, outside, before going back inside, to use some prongs to collect some very warm coals from the fireplace she then left them just outside her father's private bedroom, and then booked it back outside to her bag. Leaving to the barn to grab her favorite two horses, along with letting go some of the others to protect them incase of the fire burning. She then booked it and never looked back.

He would often stumble in his words and correct himself, but he seems to be as genuine as they come.   Leonard Briarheart was the one who stepped up to aid the noble governing their small town when it entered an economic crisis due to the locust swarm that had hit the farming town causing the crops to die and subsequently causing a crash on the entire town's coffers. With no income, there was a big possibility of starvation in the town. Through hardworking and ingenuity, Leonard partnered with his boss as well as neighboring towns to ensure the town wouldn't descend into famine.
  
  For his efforts, he was awarded a title and land as Baron of the Western Glendales.
  
  This was a big change for the Briarhearts but one they took up nonetheless. As the eldest, Lorenzo had a responsibility to learn what he can to hopefully help his father with his new responsibilities. He learned under his father and, while he struggled the most due to him growing up as more of a commoner than anything, he eventually found himself getting a feel for nobility.
  
  Now, Lorenzo is off to attend the ball to hopefully learn more about noble society and make friends there.

- The Weber family— an off-branch line of the royal family that had stayed loyally by their side throughout the generations. Oftentimes, they would be close advisors to the current royal or be there to aid them however much they can. For their show of loyalty and the prestige they carried with them, they were given land to govern and the title to go with it. As such, they had a reputation to live up to.
  
  Duke Erwin wanted a lot in life and, for the most part, he had it. He had a loving wife at his side, the dukedom in relative prosperity, and a wonderful daughter. Well, most of everything. His daughter was all he had hoped her to be— it was like staring into an image of himself. Ambitious and hardheaded, Duke Erwin only had to steer that interest into something worthwhile for the Weber legacy. As such, he constantly brought her to the castle and around the royal family.
  
  Eloise, however, had other plans.
  
  It was a stroke of fate that she had gotten lost in the castle one time without either of the royal twins and she ended up at the training grounds for the knights. On that day, she had fallen in love with the art. She would pester her father about learning more about knights and would often bury herself in books about them. To fight and protect their loved ones, isn't that what a noble person should be? Unfortunately, that's not what Eloise should be.
  
  Countless efforts had been made by Eloise to reach her dreams but all were thwarted by her father. She had hoped that being an obedient girl and learning what she had to learn would earn her her freedom, but such was not the case. And thus came the time for the ball and all that entails. It was time to find a husband and Eloise hadn't dreaded anything more.
- Queen Lucretia Aria Trovieté - A distant cousin of hers, the Weber and Trovieté family were always closely intertwined. Eloise was far closer to Lucretia's twin brother but they had forged a friendship when they were children. However, they quickly drifted apart after his death. Ever since then, Eloise simply observed the queen at a respectable distance.
  
  Francine Berkeley - An old childhood friend whom she used to play with at the castle whenever they happened to visit at the same time. While Eloise was young, her father made sure she understood the betrayal of the Berkeley patriarch. Eloise was mildly surprised to hear that she would be making a return and that Duke Erwin encouraged Eloise to figure out what had happened with the young Berkeley.

It may be difficult to discern her moods through action or speech, but on the days she feels the worst, she dresses her best — if she cannot feel good, at the very least she must look good. Clothing is armour for those who do not don metal plates, and appearance is the basis on which people are judged when conversation has not yet been struck. A graceful and modest madam may be the facade she presents among the public and unfamiliar peers, but anyone who has been around long enough to see her post-debut days firsthand is not so easily led astray. Once a leading figure of the aristocratic circles with a tendency of socially executing those she found off-putting, Josephine chose to drop that persona for a milder one when she married her husband and took over his estate. The connections she had back when she ruled the titled elite still exist to an extent, but rarely does she make use of them — nor do they make use of her. After her change in attitude, her old posse no longer comes to fawn and throw information onto her lap whenever a new scandal arises, and so she often ends up being second or third to the tea instead of coveted first.

Josephine Nightingale was a child who seemed to have inherited all the advantages of her parents with none of their flaws. Her parents’ shortcomings were not monumental obstructions, but they hindered the family enough that the Nightingales were affluent but not overwhelmingly so, well-liked but not popular, and successful but not the most accomplished. Her mother swam in social circles like a shark in water but could not even plan dinner for a week, and her mathematician father pivoted into business but could barely converse without falling into technical terminology. After she had reached the tail end of her father’s education and learned all she could from her mother, she decided it was time to patch the weaknesses of the Nightingale enterprise.

With charisma and language habits that belied her age, she convinced townspeople who ignored their talents to join her father’s business and persuaded the man himself that he need not do all the negotiating — her mother could give the same results for half the effort. When planning was no longer a two-person affair and now a semi-company-wide meeting, operation timelines and new products suddenly seemed much more reasonable. The Nightingale & Co. chocolate business had not become an empire by any means, but it was slowly becoming a top confectionary company in Casterlot, even if it could not rival those with a royal warrant.

But soon that too was remedied. Stories of their extensive varieties of chocolate and whimsical specialities made their rounds in the capital city with no small push by the employees of the business, and the rumours eventually reached the royal family. A single word from the young prince was enough to lift their position above their competitors and drive the previous royal chocolatier away from the prestigious letter of appointment. It was here that she came to the conclusion that if this trend continued, they could not go bankrupt anytime soon, so she finally could end her efforts.

Although she was skilled at putting people in the right places, management of a large institution solely dedicated to the pursuit of profit bored her. It was terribly dull to sit in meetings and read financial records and interview possible employees without an objective to strive for, so she turned her attentions to something else. Her debutante ball would be a first step into the wider world of Casterlot peerage, and she wanted to make sure it was with a cannon boom.

Coercing nobility was both entirely different and the same compared to coercing the lower class, and while she never quite stumbled, it was certainly not easy for a “countryside” daughter of a baron to climb her way to the top of the newly debuted pyramid. Friends in high places had to be acquired whether or not she found the person agreeable, enemies to be made and crushed to set an example, and social events arranged to keep her at the forefront of everyone’s mind. With tireless toiling that put her earlier commercial labour to shame, she became the undisputed high society queen as a consequence. But once she had set foot at the top of the hierarchy, she realised there was nothing else for her to aspire to. It was not like one could become part of the royal family through mere effort — or could they?

A year later she was married to the Duke of Cinderport and cousin-in-law to the queen. Nobody knew exactly what transpired between the two, but oh, did the grapevine run wild. The Duke appeared completely oblivious to courtship hints and had disregarded all women who threw themselves his way, and Josephine herself never accepted suitors and was considered notoriously picky for someone at the age of an “old maid” — despite the fact that she was the current doyenne of the aristocracy. All of this made for great dinnertime discussion until the novelty wore off as the wedding came and passed.

Then a new round of teatime gossip emerged when her drastic change in disposition nearly coincided with the Duke’s trip to Africa not a month later. Was he unhappy with his new wife? Had her overbearing personality ultimately repelled him? Speculation lasted longer this time since he never set a return date but opinions were mixed when it was clear that he left her in charge of his territory, no holds barred.

While none of the rumours have been resolved, Josephine has been enjoying her “retirement” lately and is wondering when another madam will ask her to present her daughter.
