General of the Gen/Ran
The Island of Glasynys is a very strange one indeed. The first thing that we notice about it is how blue it looks from a distance. Yet, up close, it is very green. Life here is abundant; too abundant. There are animals from all different types of ecosystems, and the plant life is like wise. There is even life on the island we have never seen before.

The island also feels rather magical, don’t you think? The jungle seems to be alive and very active. Things seem to move and dance around in there, and we don’t know what lies ahead.

The Story

The last thing you can remember was living your normal life just the way you always had, so why are you... where ever you are. You slowly open your eyes, only to squint at the sun beating down on your face. You begin to try to sit up, but in that moment, you realize what is really wrong. You are floating belly up in salty water. The only thing you can see in any direction is more water... until your eyes fall upon the figures of other survivors... and non-survivors. What did you even manage to survive? How’d you get here, and where is here?

By the time those not dead have all come to, one of you spots land; a blue mass in the distance. It is your only home, and you swim to it.

Upon arrival we are given a two facts and a suggestion:

"This is Glasynys."
"You will never leave."
"Don't go in to the jungle alone."

Will you survive?

Rules

-Don't godmode or overpower. The usual

-You can have as many characters as you can keep up with. Just please, keep up with them. Don't leave any one hanging on your character please. Keep boy/girl even ish if we can.

-If you leave, the remaining members and I will find a very beautiful but probably gruesome way to kill your characters. Seriously, I love writing death scenes so don't let me get happy. *maniacal laughter* This is a dangerous island.

-Though I will act as the God of this plot, I won't be. More than being my rp, this is our rp. I already have some set plot-devises in my head but if we decide to shift the plot some where else as a group, I am very flexible. We can talk it over in the Tribal Council.

-NOTE: I don’t mind characters getting to gether, falling in love, “that next step,” etc. But I know one of RPN’s rules strictly forbids extra steamy role playing even in separate forms. So if two of you/us want to unite characters in such a way, then we time skip.

Ah! Welcome to the Island of Glasynys. Well, you are not quite here yet. You have just begun to awake, and it seems you have found your self in quite a pickle. Out in the middle of the Ocean is no place for a person to be floating all alone, and look at all those cuts and wounds on you. Looks like you really lost a fight. Better get to that blue land mass before you have no energy left to move.

It was with a sudden jolt that Obediah-Ishmael woke up. He was even sure what is was that had shaken him, but it did. When he opened his eyes, he had to fight against the rays of the sun. HHe moved his hand over his eyes to shied them, and flinched when he felt water dripping on his face. Then he stirred when he realized he was sitting in water. “Is my room flooding?” he asked him self, as he began to try to sit up. “No. I left my room... maybe I got caught in the rai-“

“Whoa!” He shouted in surprise as she sunk below the water, and squirmed to get his head above again. When his head and his eyes became clear, he looked around to realize that he was neither in his room nor on the street. He was in a lake or some thing... No, the ocean. It was salty.

He saw that there were others around.. but they were all far off. “Olabisi!” he shouted, and then paused. The last he remembered, he had put his cousin in her bed... Wait, no. She had followed him out side. He couldn’t remember a single thing after that. He had fussed at her to go back, but she didn’t, and he could not for the life of him remember any thing about that. [/imagefloat]

"What the....where...am I?"

Stacey's eyes blinked rapidly as he awoke in a new environment different from his room. The young man was confused, the sun beating down on his face as he tried to get a hold of his surroundings. As he Floated in deep though, he recounted his last few memories. He had been laying in his bed, and was going to sleep. After that, darkness now he wakes up here. Not much to remember or see. He cursed himself, and refocused, looking around. For one, he was in water, salt for that matter, he could taste in his mouth. Soaked all over, he scanned the area, seeing that there was ocean around him, and the blue sky above him. How did he get here? He was in Maryland last time he checked, was this some kind of prank from his siblings? Or maybe his cousins, before he went away to college? As he was in deep though while looking around, his eyes would hone in on the blue land mass in the distance, his glasses allowing him to hone in on it. He sighed. Atleast he wasn't stranded out in the middle of the ocean with no way to survive. Beginning to swim over towards the only land mass available, he was disrupted by the cry of someone new, another human being, a man at that! He looked to the direction the voice had came from and would retaliate, calling back. He was careful not to sink into the water, maintaining his composure.

"Huh!? Hello! Is anyone out there!? Are you stranded too?"

The young man's eyes would scan around before catching a glimpse of the other man, and waving towards him. Inside he was relieved, atleast he wasn't alone. Maybe this guy knew something about how they got here could helps Stacey figure how to get back home. Then he could go back and kick his siblings butts for pranking like this, in spite of how serious the situation seemed. After all, none of this could have really been real. No one simply appearas in the middle of nowhere stranded out in the ocean, or atleast he thought so. I mean, who would do this to him, and for no reason? Neverthless, he continued waving to the man, and would swim closer as he tried to get his attention, hoping he wasn't dangerous, and also understood english. Stacey wasn't exactly bilingual, so if he was from somewhere else, this definitely would be difficult.

"Hey, over here man! Do you speak english? Do you know how we got out here!?"

Obediah-Ishmael

Obediah was still looking around for his bearings when he heard another voice. It did not, however, belong to his dear cousin. He was not too sure where it was coming from, since water shoots sound in all directions. But it did not take him too long to find the source.

It was a younger guy, and he looked just as lost. “Do you speak English? Do you know how to get out of here?” the guy asked. He smiled. “Ohé!” he shouted. “Vous semblez être un peu perdu!” Then he started to swim in the direction of the guy. It was nice to see a nother face, and he snickered a little bit to him self. Even in these trying moments, he could not help but to have a little fun.

When he reached the guy, he couldn’t help but to notice that he was all cut and beat up. He grasped the young man’s arm gently and aplied a bit of pressure oftetr the bleeding spot.

((They are all beat up. Obediah himself has a bullet wound in his right shoulder he hasn’t noticed.))

The young woman was not very fazed when she woke up. If any thing, she was very happy to find her self in the ocean. She was always happier when she lived next to the ocean, and being in it remembered her of home. Her real Home; not Cali. As soon as she was able to shake the sleepiness, she was under the water.

It was a very pretty sight. The water was clear, and deep. The salt did not phase her, as she was accustomed to it. It was pretty and blue underneath. There was an abundance of fish swimming about. Some little, some very big. She felt like a mermaid being able to swim in it again.

(Ah, I see, I almost forgot)
Stacey would curse in his head, realising the man did not have any idea how to speak english. He was definitely going to kick his siblings butts when he got the chance. Even so, once they came close to each other, the teenager decided it was atleast good to check on him, and was surprised to find him covered in wounds and bruises. Looking at himself, he noticed as well and eyes widened. What the hell had happened to them? Was this really the work of his cousins or siblings? No...they wouldn't hurt him like this. As the man would reach for his arm and apply pressure, Stacey winced, teeth gritting as he felt the other wounds. Yeah, they definitely needed to get to that island over there, and out of the water where their wounds would be irritatted. He was glad this man seemed to have medical knowledge, and gave a light smirk as if to reassure him he would be okay for now. Looking at the man, he was surprised at how large and muscular he was. Seeing the bullet wound, he didn't know what he should say. For now, they should focus on getting to shore, then handle the wounds, pointing at the distant island.

"Heh, guessing you don't speak english huh? Well, anyway, I guess we should try to get to shore, and get our bearings.

Looking away from the man and around himself again, Stacey couldn't help but notice a humanoid figure under the water, one that made him pause. It was feminine and beautiful, as if a mirage created from his mind, the image making him stop in his track as he admired the figure. Who was that? Was she a goddess? The boy would look and point a finger at the girl underneath the water, mesmerized by her beauty. She was a excellent swimmer and one with nature at that. He could see from just how she was enjoying the water that this person had a appreciation for the world around her. Could she see them? He wanted to approach but didn't know what to do. The island was nearby but he was unsure how dire him and the man's wounds were, or if either of them would go into shock. Then again, this girl could be hurt too right? He was deep though before shaking his head. No use in thinking this long, it was now or never, and she might be in danger. Inhaling, and holding his breath, Stacey tap the man with him, pointing at the girl in the distance and dive, going in her direction. He hoped he made the right decision with this, that the girl he was looking at wasn't just an illusion. He winced in pain from his wounds, ignoring them for now through willpower.

'Is...Is that a girl? Maybe she's in trouble...its better to check before we go to the island I guess...'

Obediah-Ishmael laughed a little to himself at the other guy’s reaction to him. But he did not really intend on messing with him for long. He had taken in a breath to speak again with the other young man’s attention was suddenly taken away, and by psychological law, Obediah’s attention was diverted as well.

He turned his eyes down below them and the met the figure the other guy had seen. In that instance, his whole body was filled with relief. “Umbu!” he shouted, swimming in that direction.

Olabisi was quite enjoying her swim all by her self. The water was cooling, even though it stung her... wait... why did it sting? She looked down at her self for the first time and realized she had cuts and gashes on her arms and legs. Most of them were not too bad, but a few of them were still bleeding in to the water.

She was confussed, and glaring at them didn’t seem to bring any answers. When her eyes had finally left her own body, she was suddenly surprised by what she saw. There was a young man swimming towards her, and their faces had nearly touched. His presence surprised her, and she stopped swimming.

He was also covered in many cuts, bruises, and gashes. Perhaps him and I fought...?” she thought to her self. Should she be scared of him? He didn’t seem to want to fight her, though. She studied his body up and down... she didn’t think she was capable of causing those injuries, so she didn’t think they fought.

Because of her natural buoyancy, Olabisi began to slowly float up towards the surface once she stopped moving. She reached out to take the guy’s hand, as not to leave him behind.

Warm air.

Slightly warm water.

Salty..?

Brandon struggled to open his eyes, the amount of salt in the water dried them out. Wait a minute..salt water? 'WHERE THE HELL AM I!?'. The young man started freaking out, sitting up from his laying position in the water, trying to stay afloat. This wasn't good. Where the hell was he? Sleeping on the plane was the last he could remember. Did the plane crash!? 'Oh please no..this can't be real..'. Voices?? Yes! Its more people, he can't really make out who they were. Brandon hasn't been swimming in a very long time so he was a bit slow to move toward the others.

"HEY!! WHAT IS GOING ON HERE!?!?!"

Maybe that was a little rude to yell out like that..THIS IS THE MIDDLE OF THE OCEAN THOUGH!! Why should he care? Continuing on his swim, he could make out two people. Would they fight him? Help him find food, shelter, and water? Not this salty crap. Brandon still has ZERO clue about the island in the other direction, or the myriad of cuts and bruises on his body. Not the most observant person ever. The adrenaline was taking over, making him feel invincible. Wouldn't be that way for long that's for sure..

Friends..?

Enemies..?

Still no idea..

As Stacey swam closer to the girl he saw in the distance, the young man noticed she was bleeding as well, covered in gashes and scars. Gosh, had they all been in a plane crash or something? She must've noticed as well, as he saw she investigating her own bodies status. As he observed her more intently and clearly, he now recognized that she was human, with dark skin and long hair, the man swimming with him seeming to know her as well. As they came face to face, nearly touching, he would stop swimming as well, pointing to the surface. With their current condition, they couldn't be under the water for long, and seeing how she was beginning to recognize her scars too, it wouldn't be long before they ran out of adreneline. As she looked him up and down, he thought she might be suspicious of him, and would smile at her, giving a thumbs up of reassurance that he wasn't at all her enemy. He wasn't someone who looked for conflict, especially if it was a stranger. Even as they floated in silence, he couldn't help but study her as well. Could she speak english? Did she know the large man he met? Did she know how they got here? Multiple questions flowed through his mind as he almost forgot their situation.

'Who is this girl? Is she related to that guy? Does she even speak english? She looks hurt, maybe it was a plane crash or something. Do she know how we got here?...'

As he shot back to reality, he would notice he floating upwards, feeling himself following to, albeit at a slower pace. She must've noticed this, since he saw he reach out a hand to help him. Stacey would grab on, floating upwards with her to the surface, and as they breached, he would open his mouth, inhaling and exhaling. "Wheeew!..." Looking at her, he was about to ask her question about her identity and origin, however the sound of another english speaker immediately caught his attention as he saw another guy in the distance, swimming towards them. Waving non threateningly, trying to give the impression that they weren't enemies. He didn't know about what the girl thought but he wasn't gonna hurt this guy. "Yeah, over here man! You speak english right!?" He assumed the dude must've been American too, hearing his accent and english, he was glad someone else from the states had arrived. Maybe he knew something about this situation also? With more poeple, their chance of survival was definitely higher, and he thought they were much closer to figuring out their current situation. He gave a sigh of relief, before looking at the girl and checking if she was okay, as well as seeing if she had answers. He held her hand gently, applying some pressure to the cuts on it to stop their bleeding.

"Hey, are you alright? Do you know how we got stranded out here?"

By the time Olabisi had reached the surface with the guy, she had decided that they were in this to gether. It was a strange silnance between the two of them for a moment, then they both gasped upon reaching the surface. O took in a big breath and was alright. She felt like she did not use that much, even though she was under water for a while.

She opened her mouth for a moment to speak to the guy. “Sijui.......” she replied to the guy, meaning that she had no idea how she got out there. “Wewe ni... nani?” she began to ask, just barely over a whisper. Then her attention was drawn to the other people above the water. There was a nother man swimming their way... and her Nduguye. Yeah... she was sure she was with him last.

Obediah-Ishmael had only just reached the spot the other guy went down at when he came back up with his sister. “Umbuye!” he shouted, with all the relief and happiness in the world. Ignoring the ligh-skinned guy who approached them, he grabbed Olabisi and hugged her tightly to his chest. “umenifanya wasiwasi...” he told her, hugging her tight.

Then he turned back to the guy who brought her up. He didn’t want to interrupt them, but he did. “Hey... thanks for finding my sister, man. She would have stayed down there all day if you hadn’t.... What do you say, O?” He whispered to his sister. Thant’s when he noticed the other guy. It was four of them, now. That would better their chance of survival. This was good.

Olabisi was more or less quiet, until her Nduguye spoke to her. She turned to the guy and dipped her head, as was polite in her culture. “Asante,” she whispered.

If it wasn't for the fact that he felt like he tumbled down hill full bushes naked, he probably would have thought this was nothing more than a dream. Where was he and how did he get here. More of a demand than a question, in his mind, as both of those were currently unanswerable. Or semi answerable, he supposed.

Because if it wasn't a dream, then he really was floating on his back, jostled slightly by the waves as he floated there. The ocean, that was were. All he looked at so far was the sky. But the taste of salt on his lips was more than enough clue. How had no answer. He had been getting ready to go out in the rain to work, and as a matter of fact, he was still wearing the rain coat he had just put on before opening the door... then he was here.

He hurt. For some reason he couldn't fathom. And speaking of fathoms, he was doing his darn destination not to think of being stranded in the middle of an ocean. A nightmare he did not need to dwell on.

What would be dwelled on is voices he could here, their sound muffled by the water by his ears. He could dwell on the heat built up by sunlight beating down on his dark colored clothing. Clothing that wasn't exactly going to make for easy swimming...

In the water he righted himself finally. Fighting back a bit of anxiety when his feet didn't touch the ground. Not that he couldn't swim, he could swim just fine... but deep water was very unnerving. Thankfully, there was more pressing matters. Other people.

At first he thought there was a boat. But that didn't seem the case. No boat. But there was an island. The voices, he could hear more clearly now. Should it have been appropriate for humor, he would have admitted that they were in the same boat as him.

Spitting out some seawater that had invaded his mouth via wave, he began the likely to be very arduous task of swimming towards land. "Hey!" He called out to the other voices. "Is everybody okay? Land over there!"

Did it answer question? No, which worked out fine because he had no answers. What he did know is that the longer theyou stayed in the water, the sooner they would drown. The last thing he was concerned with right now was niceties, introductions, and casual conversation.

"Can everybody swim okay, anybody injured?"

More Voices.

English.

As Brandon got closer to the new group of people, he could finally make them out. A younger boy, maybe late teens. The other two were young as well, maybe a bit closer to his age. Another voice peered from around him. At this point just getting to another group of people was for the best, don't stop..keep moving.

Getting closer he could see cuts and bruises on the bodies of the three he was approaching.

"Is everyone okay? Why are the lot of you all cut up and bruised? WHY ARE WE IN THE MIDDLE OF THE OCEAN!?"

Brandon was freaking out again. But the other voice that he heard was a fifth person. He couldn't see that person all to well, but saw him pointing in the other direction. AN ISLAND!! CIVILIZATION!!

"I know that I just met all of you..but we need to get to this island like..now. We can ask questions and such when we can walk..and eat..I'm so hungry.."

Getting sidetracked again..nice going Brandon

Land hoe.

I want food.

There was a long moment of serenity before Obediah realized there was a nother person (Rudolph). It was a nother man, baybe his age. At this point, he was starting to think there were more people out here than he had realized. The man was swimming and shouting... about land. He hadn’t even noticed before.

Obediah-Ishmael turned his gaze to where the guy was pointing, and sure enough, in the distance, was land. He laughed happily and pointed towards the large, blueish mass, in case any one else had missed it. “We should head that way, and keep an eye out for any more survivors.” He didn’t see any one else, though. He was afraid it was just them, at this point. But hey... at first he thought it was just him, so things could turn around.

Then he actually got a look att he guy who had just come. He was asking any one if they were hurt. “Have you taken a good look at your self? You look like you really just lost a fight...” Actually... they all did. He turned to his sister, who was still in his arms, and begining to shiver. She had a busted lip, and an impact wound on her head. There was a bruise on her neck... who knew what damage was on her under the water. This made him absolutly furious. He wanted to find and kill who ever hurt his dear cousin.

Olabisi was begining to notice how badly every one was hurt as well. Hopefully, there would be some things on that island that she could use to help ease every one’s sufferings, and even her own. Her skin tingled and her left leg was hurting... Oh no.. did she lose her braces in the ordeal? She stirred for a moment and reached down. no, she still had them. That was good. If she didn’t have her braces, she was basically a sitting duck, and useful as a sack of hammers.

With out saying a word, she began to kick in the direction of the land, taking her Nduguye with her. The longer they stayed out here, the more serious of a problem fatigue would turn out to be.

@well every one at this point...

Stacey would remain silent as the girl spoke a language he couldn't understand. He was confused, but from her own expression he guessed she was confused too. As she whispered he question he listened closely, but couldn't understand its meaning, rasing a brow. "Huh?..what are you saying?....." Before he could try and decipher her statements however, his attention was drawn back to reality, and to the other poeple around him approaching. As the older man approached, hugging the girl tightly, Stacey would immediately look in surprise as he began speaking english clearly. He blinked twice, looking at both the man and the girl. "Wait, so you can speak english?" He however didn't have time to properly investigate the duo as he heard the other two guys caught his attention, both of them placing focus on the island in the distance. Stacey looked in its direction, eyes narrowing in focus. He had almost fogotten about that island! Thankfully they had reminded them. He responded in agreement, yelling to the other guys that were father away to meet up on shore, as well as looking to the girl and man in front of him to follow.

"Ah, land, I almost fogot! Lets meet those guys over on the shore! Maybe they know something about how we got here!"

Stacey would begin moving towards the island, facing in its direction. Finally, maybe he would find civilization- or better yet get some answers! It was quickly becoming clear that this wasn't anything set up by his family. Maybe a kidnapping, flooding, tsunami, tornado- something had brought him out her, and he would find out what. These poeple too were seemingly just as confused, making him question the situation more. Was there some unforseen force controlling this place's function? Or maybe some government pulling the strings? He didn't give any thought to this being some magical journey or supernatural occurence. Magic didn't exist after all...right? He shook his mind off the subject, focusing on swimming. Pausing for a second, he would turn to face the girl he just met, and with a kind smile, would dip his head back to her in respect to what he assumed had been a polite gesture, though remaining silent as he still couldn't understand her language. From his facial expression though, it could already be seen he was hoping for her and the mans safety. Turning back to the island, he would then continue on his way, hoping they all would make it safely on shore.

"Hopefully this island is safe...and these guys are friendly."

The two siblings were swimming for a small moment when the young man from before asked them if they could speak English again. Obediah chuckled in his heart, becuase he had successfully messed with him. He turned back around, and in unison with his cousin, he nodded his head and said, “Yes,” while Olabisi shook her head and said, “Hakuna.” Then they swam on

20 minutes passed and the group was still swimming. But by now, the islan was very near. Olabisi’s legs had already done more work than they needed to for the time being, but she didn’t want to ask her Nduguye for a boost, because of his shoulder he had yet to realize was wounded. The cold was also cramping her muscles, and she was afraid her braces wouldn’t be enough to get her through the swim. Just when she wanted to take a rest, though, she could feel her body being pulled in closer to the land. It was the tides!

Nobody seemed injured, at least from the words being spoken. And some being yelled. Given the severity of the situation, the nicks and bruises were nothing more than an inconvenience at the moment. But oddly enough, an inconvenience shared by others.

At least they could also swim. Hopefully they could swim well, as it looked like a long distance away.

It took a bit of self discipline not to swim full gung-ho towards the island. He jut wanted to get out of the water, but slow and steady. Slow and steady. If he exerted too much, he could drown before he got there. Don't panic, breath, and try to float more than tread water.

Even following this strategy, by the time he started feeling the pull of the tides, he was getting pretty exhausted. His muscles were beginning to hurt quite a bit, and he was growing increasingly frustrated with his coat. All of that he put out of his mind. Ignored it and pushed onward. It seemed they lucked out and were being aided by a rising tide.

He, did, however, frequently look back to make sure nobody was drowning yet. That put a bit of ease on his mind, so he stared back towards the island. His mind distracting itself by thinking about what to do once he got there.

Mila Kovenoschk
Mila awoke with a jolt, a shooting pain flaring up in her arm. Her hand shot to cover it, and a splash piqued her interest. Wait. Where am I? Looking down at herself, she saw deep blue water twisting around her. Ignoring the screaming gash that was cut up her arm, she whipped her head around, turning in the water. A speck of green was visible in the distance and she gulped as she realized that swimming there was her only hope. How the hell did I get here anyway?
She shook her head and tried to clear her thoughts, recalling all the stories of castaways she had heard. As she took in a slow breath and ducked under the churning waves of the surface, she kicked forward. A few strokes in, a cold sensation brushed her ankle. She flashed up, with an increasing sense of wariness before a pale body floated up peacefully next to her. The expression on the girl's face and the halo of hair surrounding it were serene, but the sharp scream that forced its way out of Mila's lips wasn't. Splashing loudly, she tried to distance herself from the corpse and she shook her head violently and felt herself slipping into hysteria.

But she stopped abruptly, her panic ceasing. "I'm stronger than this and this will not be my end."
Taking yet another deep breath, she dove back underneath the surface and started swimming with such power one would think she was being chased by a shark. Time passed quickly for her, the only thing to break the cool flow of water over her being the gasps of breath she took when she resurfaced. The tides silently fueled her endeavor, and soon the speck on the horizon started getting bigger and bigger. She didn't stop until her foot hit into sand and she stood, trembles racking her body. She crawled onto the warm sandy beach a few yards in front of her, nearly collapsing from exhaustion.
How long was I swimming? Exhaling shakily, she turned back towards the ocean as she tried to calm the hurricane of thoughts eating away at her mind. Gauzy shapes and colors piqued her interest before she identified them as people. Mildly alarmed, she waded back into the shallow water. Letting out a relieved gasp as she heard their shouts and splashes, she called out to them. "H-hey! Over here! Hurry up and get on this damned island already!"

Olabisi felt she was still a good minute from the island when she felt some thing touch her foot. At first she ignored it like it was a fish, but then she realized it was actually a reef! It came up high enough, as the got closer, that she could stand on it and half her body was above water. “Mwamba!” she shouted happily and completely out of breath, looking down at her feet. She looked back on the others to make sure every one was still there, and keeping up.

It was only a bit further, now. She let her body float again, because she honestly could not remember at the moment if it harmed Carla to stand on top of it. She wanted to keep floating there, but the moment she gave in to fatigue, she knew she would lose. So she kept going, keeping the pace of the others.

As they were swimming, Olabisi saw a person (Mila) being washed up on the water ahead of them. For a moment, she thought she may be a local, but it did not take very long for her to realize she was in the same situation. “Hey huko...” she tried to shout, only to discover she only had the energy for swimming, even with the tides pulling her.

She didn’t give up until she felt land, and then she crawled through the tides to a safe place on ground. She grabbed her body in the direction of the girl. She began to speak, but collapsed and was instantly asleep.

Obediah was not too far behind. He stayed in the water once he saw his cousin was on land and turned around to make sure every one had made it. He would lend a hand if any one needed it.

When his boots finally hit the soft sand, Rudolph immediately felt relief. He half swam, half waded the rest of the way. Stopping when the water only reach just above his ankles.

His legs were tired, his arms more so. An elevated heartbeat, out of breath, and exertion pains were the least of his problems, however. One of the girls had the right idea at least. At first, he was worried she might of had a heart attack and keeled over, but the rise and fall of her chest spoke otherwise. He turned back to look at the others swimming in, and a strong looking young man watching over him. Rudolph liked that guy already. He had it handled.

With his arms hanging limply at his sides, he turned to look at the island proper. Taking steps towards dry sand. Between wet clothes and and a tired body, he felt very heavy.

He finally took off his rain coat, amd just dropped it on the dry sand. With the sun beating down, he didn't feel any less warm. BUT at least he would dry out faster.

The island... well from what he seen from out in the water, it was the only bit of land around. As far as he was concerned, this was out in the middle of nowhere.

His hands reached down to fumble with his pockets. Looking for his phone. He had it, but sure enough it was too water logged to work. Even if he was lucky enough to work once it dried out, he wager that he wasn't going to get any signal out here.

What else... a set of keys clipped to a belt loop of a pair of soggy cargo pants. Their weight held up by a leather belt. He had an aluminum wallet, with just few cards and a bit of cash. Two packs of cigarettes, one being opened and no doubt completely soaked. And a lighter. Also useless until it dried.

He took a deep breath and looked back to the others. This was, to understate matters, not an ideal situation. How did they get here. There was no boats around. No obvious signs of wreckage washing ashore or floating about. If they had been dropped out of plane they'd be dead. If they were drugged and tossed into the ocean from a boat, they would have drowned before waking up. And they would have had to have been drugged to not have remembered that sort of travel. Rudolph certainly wasn't near anywhere tropical before now. Kidnapping didn't make any more sense either. And the bruises and abrasions were also just as senseless.

Even with now time to dwell on it, it wasn't something worth dwelling on until further information presented itself. The here and now took importance. The here and now being, we are on an island with nothing to our name. Rescue would be unlikely given the vastness of the ocean and the mystery of our disappearances.

So what did that mean? It means they were stranded. That meant they were going to die if they did nothing. Swimming here had given him enough time to think. At least enough to come up with a bit of a plan.

He would wait until the others got ashore before he spoke. "Do any of you all have anything useful in your pockets? I have a lighter and a phone, but my phone isn't going to be working anytime soon."

"And if anybody is not too tired after.. that swim... I suggest we find some water and circle this place." He licked his lips, realizing now how thirsty he was getting. Water first, that was the priority. With this heat and sun, he doubted they would last a day or two without it. And taking a walk around island would let them know if this place was inhabited or not. And if they were lucky, maybe someone had a waterproof satellite phone or something.

"And if you are too tired, no issues with resting first. But the more time we lose, the harder this is going to be."

Stacey kept good pace as everyone moved closer to shore, focusing on his goal of getting on land. Even as he passed over the reef, he merely kept his energy focused on moving forward, not stopping Olabisi had, allowing him to catch up to the siblings he met earlier. As tide pulled poeple in Stacey followed it, knowing he would be brought to sure if he kept with the flow of the current. As the first person, a woman(Mila), reached land and called out to them, he became relieved. With more and more poeple coming forward, perhaps this situation wouldn't be so bad? Hopefully everyone coming on land was willing to work together, especially since they all were able to speak english.

With his energy directed towards the push to land, Stacey finally reached the shore at the same time as girl(Olabisi), albeit with alot more energy left to spare than she had. As he stepped on land he could feel the pain from his wounds, however fought through them, staying conscious as he inhaled and exhaled to keep calm. Looking back, he saw other poeple still coming forward, the girls brother(Obediah) staying behind to make sure others could make it on land safely. Another man(Rudolph) arrived on shore as well at the same time as them, Stacey waving to him in relief. Turning back to the shore, he noticed the girl(Olabisi) passing out, and quickly rushed forward to catch her before she could hit the ground.

Seeing she was out like a light, Stacey decided to try lifting her up, using his leftover strength to carry her. He joked a bit to himself as he began walking over to the woman who had made it to land first. 'Heh, man, I'm surprised you weren't sleeping in the water seeing how comfortable you were there!' As he met the lady, he placed down the girl(Olabisi) gently and immediately collapsed himself, falling onto his butt as he sat down, exhaling in relief. They were safe, on land and out of the water. Stacey wanted to sleep in the soft sand, however kept himself conscious, knowing in these conditions being asleep could be trouble. Looking to the woman and the other man(Rudolph) who had made it as well, he formulated a sentence, albeit in a tired voice, speaking slowly. "Huff.....yeah...lets...lets try to figure this out....." Feeling if he had anything uself in his pocket, Stacey felt around, but he already could feel his phone was busted. He looked at the man and shook his head, telling him didn't have any tools that could help out sadly. Seems like they were reallys stranded out here, but hopefully, someone else had technology that could work here.

Brandon decided to just follow everyone else, no sense in doing anything until they reached the shore. The water was very warm and the air was even warmer which somehow made the water refreshing and cool? Not really sure how that works..whatever, No more distraction. Just get to the shore.

Everyone one was getting up onto land, A girl lay on the beach. The younger one tried to make do with helping her up. He seemed very helpful and looked like a person that would be useful in the long run, The one boy (Rudolph) was trying to get things straight. He seemed like a leader..ish. Stick with him too I suppose? As for the other two, they look like family maybe. Maybe they rely on each other. Seems like it yea. This was starting to pan out to be a good group, but were there more out there?

Brandon finally managed to step foot onto land. The warm sand laced his wet feet. His shoes were gone. Great..All he had was a very heavy soggy pair of jeans on, a black t-shirt, a gray and black jacket, his very wet snapback hat, and his necklace that he had since he was young. Something about his grandfather's, he was never really told why it was significant. The pendant on the end of it was sharp though, maybe could be used as a small shiv for cutting?

"Nothing in my pockets. My necklace however is a bit sharp, that could be useful for cutting and such."

Water was definitely the first step, then shelter. Maybe a small cave until they can make a hut, or an overhang.

"I can also go search for water, although we have no idea was this island holds. We shouldn't go alone. We need to make teams, each one doing something different. One searching for water, another looking for shelter, and we need someone on food. I don;t know about the rest of you, but I'm STARVING"

The boys stomach grumbled in hunger.

Looking at the other guy (Stacey), Rudy nodded his head. The lack of goodies in one's pocket couldn't be helped. "We just got to put our heads together. At least we aren't stuck here alone."

"I was thinking something like that too." Rudolph said, nodding to hat guy. "We are going to need that food, but can live without that for a while yet. I mean, not that we will deny it if it is dangling in front of our face. But definitely water and shelter. That way we can split up enough, while still not leaving those too tired to travel unattended. How many of us are there anyway? 6? 5... 6?"

Rudolph paused and rubbed the back of his neck, thinking. "I'd say pair off, but given the state of the girl, maybe only one group going out would be best. Anybody tired can stay behind, and try to scrounge up some shelter or something for a fire. The rest could go look for water. Or anything for that matter. At the very least we could get an idea of what we have around to work with. Maybe even signs that people were here. If we just stick the the beach, we shouldn't get lost. Maybe we will get lucky and find you an iguana or something."

He paused again. Thinking some more. "I'd say pair off, but given the state of the girl, maybe only one group going out would be best. Anybody tired can stay behind, and try to scrounge up some shelter or something for a fire. The rest could go look for water. Or anything for that matter."

He turned to the other guy (Stacy), "I know I want to go look around. Maybe Hats here can come with me. Think you can dry this thing out and make a fire for us?" Rudy said to Stacy as he pulled a yellow Bic lighter from his pocket.

He shook it by his ear and listened to make sure it had fluid. Sure enough it did. He gave it a few test flicks, and to his own surprise it came on. "Well nevermind then. Still. We need a fire before night comes."

Speaking of need. Rudy took a moment to take the unopened pack of cigarettes from his pocket and pull off its plastic packaging. Still dry. Thank god, because if there was any time he needed a cigarette, it was right now. So he lit one up and took a drag so deep he wanted to choke. It didn't really help. But it was something he could center himself with at least.

He handed the lighter out to the other guy (Stacey). Why him? Well, he seemed tired. The breathlessness gave it away easily enough. It probably would not be wise to give him at excuse to run across the island. "I'm sure muscles over there will help." Also, other guy and muscles seemed pretty close to tired girl.

Rudolph then looked at the other girl (Mila) To see if she had any input or for her to chime in on what she wanted to do. "Thoughts?"

“Mm,” Mila said with a cough before standing up. “Yeah, I definitely have a few things to say. Let’s take this slow; We should get to know each other before one of us dies. But first things first, we need water.” She turned to the male who had previously complained about being hungry. Grazing her eyes over him and evaluating his state, she sighed and added, “You’re fine. We can probably last another week or so without food. And you,” She said as she turned to Rudolph, “I agree. We have to stay together until we know what everyone here is capable of.” She exhaled quickly, a looming sense of finality to it. Settling back down into the warm sand, she looked around at the group. “Now, my name’s Mila. I suggest you all listen to what I have to say.”

Rena Ladera

"You got room for anymore in your little party?" Rena asked as she managed to approach a survival group on the island. The swim to shore had been gruelling, and frankly, she would rather be sleeping on the soft, velvety mattress on her bed. The salty taste of the sea still lingered on her tongue, and Rena wondered if it would ever go away. She had talked to several other groups on the island, but they were too busy weeping in self pity, and Rena doubted that they'd survive very long. Finally, she found a group taking action.

She looked at the survivors with interest. They were definitely.. interesting. Different races and colours, and from what she could tell, very differing personalities. By the looks of things, one girl named Mila was trying to establish her.. well.. dominance in the group. Evident by her, "I suggest you all listen to what I have to say." line.

"Uh.. Mila was it? All very well suggesting we should listen to you, but what if what's coming out of your mouth is rubbish? I'm not meaning to be rude, but has it occurred to you all that the water we are going to find is going to be dirty, and that you'll all drink it and die? That's not very smart, eh? Don't you think it'd be more sensible to see if we can find a method for filtering water, before we actually find water?"
