Val woke up at the smell of urine.


"What....WHAT THE F***!!!!!!!" Val yelled out as he seen this large animal rubbing urine on his ribs.


Swiping at her paws, Val rolled away from her and got to his feet. Clinching his fists, He glared at the animal.


"What the hell do you think you are doing!" Val yelled out in clear anger.


Taking deep breaths and exhaling through the nose, Val was ready to fight. He was so mad, he was blind to the truth that his shoulder and ribs were doing way better than he thought possible. He was even mad enough to attack this animal, more of a blind fury to what he woke up to.

Kalyspo jumped back as the man cursed at her. "I... I'm sorry. I didn't mean to do any harm to you. I was just trying to heal you." She said as the man asked her a question. He started to get up and balled his fists, ready to fight. "Don't hurt me! I'm just a pup! I have a life to live! I can help you get better!" The wolf cowered.

 

[Esme]

Cela grumbled something inaudible as Val was taken off. Looking back at the man on the ground in front of her, she rolled him over.


"What to do with you..." Pulling her blade from the ground, she sighed. " I should just kill you...but then, you wouldn't be able to pay me back for the window frame you trashed...." Looking down at him, her fully black eyes just staring at him, "I could eat you too...it's been a long time since I've had fresh human...."

 

[backlash]

Val looked at the animal and his eyes widened.


"You can talk?" Val asked as he stumbled backwards a little.


As he stumbled towards the edge of the giant building, he placed his hand upon his ribs. To his surprise, it did not hurt as bad anymore. But the smell was killing him now. Trying hard to wipe the liquid from his skin, Val wondered why this animal can talk and why it was helping him.

"Don't wipe it off! It will heal you! And yes.. I can talk." Kalypso said seriously. "Don't you have cologne in your pockets? Spray yourself with it and you will smell better. But I'm warning you... It will sting when you spray."

 

[backlash]

"But....but....but how can you talk?" Val said as he stopped moving backwards.


As he looked over his shoulder and behind him, he seen that he was almost to the edge of the building.


"Wo, i almost just died. Where are we anyway." Val asked with a very curious tone.


Looking back at the animal his facial expression was that of curiosity.


(Sorry for not posting in awhile. Night shift has killed me at work lately.)

"How can I talk? Everyone can talk unless they are mute!" She laughed, but then realized what he actually meant. "Oh. I can talk easily to humans. How can YOU understand me?" She threw a clever question at him. Looking around, she shook her head. "I have no idea where we are. I just know that we are on a high building thats higher than mostly all the rest."

"But that is not what i mean." Val replied as he looked at the animal.


Slowly lowering himself down, he proceeded to seat himself at the edge of the building looking across the city.

Knowing that Val wasn't going to hurt her now, Kalypso walked towards him and sat down next to him. "My names Kalypso." She said calmly, looking out over the city. "What's yours?"

 

[Esme]

Cela growled a little, before driving the sword through the larger man's neck, effectively killing him. Dragging his body through the destroyed window, she glanced around to see if any 'neighbors' had see what had happened. Pulling a black sheet across the window and pinning it into place. She sighed.


"Too old for this crap." She mumbled, cleaning off her blade till it was spotless. Leaving her hair down, her horns gleaming, as she moved into a room with light, she started to remove the bandages from her hands and arms. Underneath, dark markings stood out vividly, as she washed her hands, the water going red as it drained down the sink. I should just feed him to R.I.P. he'd love that one....​

"My name is Val." He replied.


Taking in a deep breath then sharply exhaling it, Val glanced over at Kalypso.


"By the way, what are you doing here?" Val asked in a serious tone.

(What the heck? I can't believe I did that!)


Kalypso nodded as Val said his name. What are you doing here? The question went through her head and the pup took a shaky breath. "Well, all I can remember is growing up on the icy cold grounds of a science lab. I was chained up and everyday, scientists would just come and stare at me. Yeah, that's right, STARE! With their notepads and everything. One day, I said to myself, 'I need to escape this prison! Its horrible!' So... I did! I pulled with all the might I had, and for the first time, the chains actually broke! I ran away and soon, found my self here, in this village. So yeah." Tears formed up in her eyes as she remembered being in that prison. She still had the chain around her front paw.
