The history of our fine city is well known, along with the cautionary tale of how the old world’s disorder failed. Yet another war began in the 21st Century, with humans innovating in new ways on destroying their fellow man, but the science went too far.

Automatons rose up on their own masters, quelled by a nuclear winter ravaging the planet while a biological weapon wiped a considerable amount of life. The remaining government Entities and Corporations worked together to survey any who weren’t effected by the biological weapons or radiation, land surveyors searching for any land untouched by the war.

Genisis was founded in the center, with walls erected around the outskirts of the farmlands and northern mountain, allowing any who had past their tests into the city, while in fear of a riot, the thousands who fled to Genisis threatening a siege on the walled city, forcing the Security Agency to allow them to take refuge in the massive caverns found below the city.

The Origin and any other information about Enhanced Abilities and Persons are Unkown, with abilities manifesting during a traumatic event (Snapping) or being present at birth or a young age. Representatives of The Shu Corporation continue to research the Origin, Weakness, Cure, and other aspects of thus phenomenon for the safety of the public, and for a better future with Enhanced Persons Co-Existing with the General Public.

What is the Shu Corporations posistion on the rumors of corrupt and Narcissistic “Heroes” being represented in their hero sponsorships?

The Shu Corporation is sure to always take various Background, Psychological, and Ability Tests to ensure that those representing them are fit for the duty of using their powers for the public. This cannot be said for Violent and Illegal Vigilantes such as Abyss.

August 21st, 12:00- Northern Docks Warehouse 3. Camera was damaged in the tragic fire- no one goes to the northern part of the city and fire services weren’t called. The recently deceased “Hero” Spark disappeared from an autograph signing, Security Agents from the Enhanced Special Ops where seen heading to the Northern side on a “drill”.

Northern Centers Liberty Park is over grown but the southern wall to the recreation building has a series of human burn marks, the number is still being counted but I noticed no children sized marks. Inside the rec center among the ashes are melted BACA uniforms and equipment.

The War
Fifty Years after the initial lockdown of the city walls and the cease of contact with the Raider Defense Command, tensions where high with the Underground becoming more and more hostile to the laws made to be beneficial to the original inhabitants, with the surface dwellers arguing that the cavern dwellers weren’t even supposed to be there and had been granted the mercy of their Cave home.

After a decade of quarantine, the evolved cultures collided as Undergrounders began to work to move to the surface, wishing to avoid the harsh laws against their people such as the laws against cybernetics- a common practice in underground culture, while the Surface saw them as crude and dangerous, using their enhancements to commit crimes.

This culminated in an Underground Militia invading the Security Agency outpost near the northern lifts, with other groups raiding the firearm factories and barricading the elevators, keeping the mineral and factory products from reaching the surface, demanding the laws against their home to be abolished. Both sides dug in to the area surrounded the lifts, forcing many to evacuate to the northern part of the city while trench warfare began.

The surface possessed superior weapons and technology while the Underground outnumbered the well armed and trained soldiers, fighting for ten years before the AI Evelyn was found to be supplying food to the Underground secretly, almost being terminated for her assistance to the rebels despite her disposition to keep both sides alive for the betterment and survival of mankind, her primary objective. After the revels were starved into surrender, many of their rights were taken away: Representation, Migration Rights, Weapon Ownership.

The Outbreak
Following the end of the war, disease was rampant, with Evelyn and the Medical Guild struggling to keep up with the flow of wounded soldiers and civilians injured in the war, with many industries being affected by the Underground Factories being cut off from the surface such as minerals needed for the farmlands surrounding Genisis, leading to food and pharmaceutical shortages.

Diseases long since eradicated spread like wildfire, an outbreak of Rabies wiping out an entire town on the border of the wall, before Ravage appeared.

The origin of the disease is unknown, with cases appearing all over the city before before the Unkown fever was reported as a different disease, but the virus had already mutated. The virus became lethal and had an infection rate of 90%, with 90% of the subjects dying. People were in close quarters because of the many homes destroyed in the war forcing people into apartment complexes, the virus spreading into the Northern part of the city particularly. The Biological and Chemical Weapons Agency was sent to stop the spread, taking every flamethrower and even building crude weapons to clear the virus from the city, searching for carriers before executing them and bathing them in flames. The unholy purge ended in the northern part of the city, with the entire population being slaughtered before the agents cleaned themselves of the disease they where likely exposed too despite their biohazard gear.
