General OOC

Idea, since characters are being made, how about you BackSet BackSet (or me if you're patient) make a small, mostly meaningless RP in this universe people can sign up for, just to set an example of what we'd like. I think that would do a good job at kickstarting this.

Good idea. Just to clarify: you mean outside of the hp right?
 
Maybe I'll just run the same rp in and put of the hosted project and the one in it is the canon version or something. I don't know.
 
Well what I was thinking was in the hosted project so everyone could see it more easily. Plus, leave it where it's relevant. Maybe people using the characters they've already created.
 
Screw it. I'll just create the first event. Some criminal gang or something has gotten ahold of alien technology somehow and is using it and selling it. And before anyone asks: yes I have watched SPIDERMAN homecoming.

That movie's the best, there's worse places to draw inspiration from.
 
Soo... Hey! I saw the interest check, and had to come by to see what this was all about. I've been reading up on the lore, but is there anything else I need to know? I also already have an idea for a character, but I'm curious if it's too similar to something someone else is doing or not.
My base character concept (so far) is a kinda nerdy, geeky guy that has an obsession with robotics. Though a freak accident, his 'soul' is transferred to the robot he's built, which ends up being his new body. Gifted with his new body, he would finally be able to fight crime like all the superheroes he'd looked up to growing up.
Anyways, it's nice to meet y'all. :D

Hmm... It's close to my character but also really different. Definitely different enough to work.
 
It's gonna take a while for him to be perfected, so we'll have time. I can help contribute to the lore if you want too.
 
So how do the solo threads actually work? Do you, like, invite other people to be villains for your heroes? Or is it really solo and your personal playground for your character?

Sort of both. You can invite other people to be villains for your hero or team up with your character but it's also just a sort of personal playground for people to do what they want. You know, I should really have a help or q & a style thread.
 
BackSet BackSet So, I'm thinking I might make an enemy for Chie if you were up for that. He could also be a good enemy for the new legends too.
 
Alright, awesome. I've got some time before I have to head to work, so I'll get started on him. I'm thinking he's going to be the head of a secret, anti-super task force for EDU Corp. Do you (or anyone) have a CEO character for EDU yet?

Yes, actually. I've been debating wether or not I should make her into a CS or just use her as an npc.
 
Whichever you decide to do, I just need to know her name. This new character, through a lifetime of behavioral manipulation, will basically be her personal guard dog. Completely loyal, never questioning her, that sort of thing.

Sandra Allan or as she prefers to be called Mistress Sandra Allan.
 
Alright. :D I'm gonna have the sheet mostly finished before I gotta go, I'll just finish up his history when I get home. I was thinking that it would be interesting to have an event where she commands him to get the X-Metal suit back, and that could be where he and Weaponary meet for the first time.
 
Keiichi's done. If you decide you want to have Sandra be an NPC, I can write up something in the solo title to start off a story if you're up for it. (I'm not hyped at all to start, really.) XD
