it would be cool if we could have an option to show a gemstone badge depending on what month we were born in. another suggestion i have is that on our rpn anniversary we could receive a special badge saying '1' or whatever our anniversary is at the number

What if you put your year as blank, what about date you joined?

then you won't get one. when your account hits its' one year anniversary, it will get a '1' badge is what i mean.

Why not just do it by the day you join RpN to make it fair, like not everyone wants to share there age.

the idea is you get a gemstone for your birthday


and a different badge for each year you spend on the site

It's one year for the account since the day of its creation.

Because if that's the case then we're celebrating the user's age instead of how long they've been on RpN. And while I'm not saying that's a bad thing, it's more centered towards your being on the site.
