(Notice: this is fairly unfinished! As such, I'm looking for suggestions on everything from the alphabet to founding grammar rules! I WILL include a small tutorial on how to write in this language once we have the alphabet, some basic grammar rules, and plenty of words written down. I plan on NOT abandoning this!)
I love Steven Universe, and, since I'm currently taking Latin, I wanted to invent (instead of reverse-engineer) a gem language. I'm not sure what to call it, but "Recursive Litteran", "Iterative Litteran", and "Sæpian Öpesen", all deriving from Latin variants of "repeating messages" or "repeating wealth(/treasure/gemstones)"
The language's alphabet consists of (a number of) characters; (some) consonants and 5 (or more) vowels.
CONSONANTS:
These letters make a sound that cannot be extended. (try saying "TTTT" with a continuous sound. It's impossible!)
The format will consist of the capital version, the small version, and the sound found in English words.

The language uses four tenses: past tense, local present tense, distant present tense, and future tense. The tense will affect the verb's suffix: -[COLOR= rgb(0, 0, 0)]§[/COLOR]ƕΩ (OH-HYOO) means it already happened, -?? (????) means it happened nearby ("A nuke detonated nearby." does not have the same constraints as "I squashed an ant nearby.")
