Somehow she’s still bright-hearted, seeing the upside of things. She’s only really serious when ‘on duty,’ her smile a blade of its own. She isn't a fool. She knows what’s happened to the others. Those who have disappeared. But her smile is the best defense she has. She works to keep others smiling, tired of seeing her sisters fall.

How did she come to Akina (Geisha) House?
When the village council came to her family’s home that night so many years ago, Ahana was not surprised she had been chosen. They had never approved of her learning the swordsmanship of her clan. And her beauty, even then when she had no idea what a weapon it was nor how to wield it, was enough to cause her brothers grief in their protectiveness. That night, they were angry. They let their voices rage while in the protection of darkness, but she made them swear to never speak of it during the day. They kept that oath, even losing that anger as time went on. Not that it matters, they’ve gone to Yomi now.

That morning she performed her duty. She would not bring dishonor (nor Amaterasu’s wrath) upon those she loved. Instead, she stoically accepted the change. Training for a geisha took a finer control than she had ever needed before. She learned to wield every muscle. She learned the power that came from her dances. She had not expected to be bound by anything more than duty, but the beauty she creates strengthens her.

Misc
Her dances are often fast past and dangerous. A mixture of both fan and blade, she’s starting to incorporate jumps using her wind into her performances.

Personality
Some describe him as mercurial, but it would be more accurate to say his energy waxes and wanes with his lunar face. He’s learned that caring is a weapon Amaterasu would use against him. He keeps his face as still as an untouched pond but he does care. The hopelessness of the situation makes him fall into apathy. He watches the geishas, just wondering when they’ll fall.

He finds the rules of court to be a protection against his sister. He was in fact disgusted by Uke Mochi spitting out the food. But he did not kill her, which was also against the rules of court (and his greatest protection) he merely left.

Bio
When his father, Izanagi was purifying himself from his trials in Yomi, Tsukuyomi came out of his right eye, the second born.

History
Uke Mochi’s death
He went to Uke Mochi’s wedding feast. It was disgusting. She’d spit out fish, rice and deer from her mouth, but the rest of her food can from her other orifices. He was so horrified he sat through the entire preparation frozen. That was why he was willing to drink so much that night. He’d been bound by the rules of a guest to eat the food, but it was appalling. So he may have expressed his disgust, but that did not mean he killed her. When she was found dead, he knew Amaterasu was the one to do it. But he knew the mortal world could not survive without her, so he willingly went to the land of the dead.

Relationship with other gods
Amaterasu: He’s learned to be cautious of his sister, who shined the brightest of them all. And as she played her hand that fear turned into hatred.

Susanoo: He feels protective of Susanoo, though he abandoned him to stay in the land of Yomi. He wonders which of them will be her next target. Him again? Or his brother?
