I expect to have fun getting immersed into the tales they tell and enjoying how characters interact with each other.

Is the answer to the above question your expectation of this RP? Please Explain :
Yes. I believe that the plot which focuses on a small group and their epic journey will definitely satisfy that.

What kind of Experience do you have in Roleplaying? :
I've been in a number of RPs that were mostly casual but I have no problem with writing decent content 95% of the time.

What genres of Roleplay do you like? :
I definitely favor fantasy that includes magic or some supernatural element.

What times are you available? :
I'm on and off anytime after 12pm EST.

How long on average are you on? :
Maybe an hour or two in total each day.

How many posts a week do you think you can make? :
3-5 at least

Are you willing to contribute in World building? Please Explain :
I don't have much experience in this sort of thing so probably not. If inspiration strikes me though ill put my idea out there.

Sure.

If it's necessary, yes. Not a huge fan of doing so though.

  Gareth is a very gentle and modest young man. So modest in fact, that he has even convinced himself that he's nothing special when it comes to anything really. Despite his somewhat lacking self esteem, he always tries his best when it comes to helping others and following orders. He has a knack for observing and listening so he often finds himself in a position where he's consoling or assuring others who are feeling down for whatever reason. His mother is always telling him that his open mind is his greatest strength but he shrugs it off most of the time saying things like "I just thought it would be a nice thing to say. Anyone could've done it."

  History:
  Gareth is the son of Raiden and Lusse Alber. Like many men on Vigganno, Gareth's father worked for the mining company. It was good work and his position as a supervisor paid decently. The only downside was that his 6 day work schedule left him little time to spend with his family. Fortunately, his mother made sure to make it clear to Gareth at a young age that Raiden was working hard for both their sakes. As a result, the Sundays the three of them were allowed to have to themselves was enough for Gareth to feel content.
  Naturally, Gareth would spend a large amount of time with his mother while his father was away. She used this time to educate her son on the ways of medicine and health. She was an expect on those sorts of things since she worked as a doctor, a job that anyone could tell she was proud of. By the time Gareth was fourteen, Gareth was actively helping his mother in her work which mostly consisted of patching up miners who sustained varying levels of injury thanks to their somewhat dangerous jobs. Luckily there were only a handful of extremely severe injuries and no deaths. Well, at least not while Gareth was around.
  Another important thing about Gareth's mother and father was that they were avid followers of the Church of Unification so naturally, they got their son in on it too. Every Sunday they would visit the Impyerno temple and partake in the traditional practices including learning about the sacred journey of the Savior. On one particular day, one of the elders singled out Gareth from the crowd and deemed him 'something special' and offered to arrange for lessons in the use of magic. Gareth was surprised by this since, as far as he knew, he had done nothing in his life that could really be called 'special.' Before he could question it though his parents urged him to accept the elder's praise and before he knew it he had officially become a novice mage.
  Gareth found that learning how to channel spirit energy was largely about meditating. Lots of meditating. That being said, the idea of being able to cast magic was a very exciting concept to him. He just made an effort to tone down his eagerness. Not only to respect the opportunity he had been given, but also so he wouldn't embarrass himself.
  Years later Gareth became his mother's official assistant and was just getting into his practical magic training. To both his mother's and his own benefit, Gareth found that he could use magic to assist in medical treatment. Before he could explore the idea further though, Gareth was summoned to the Church personally by the same elder who had taken interest in him initially. He definitely wasn't prepared for what he heard next.
  
  "You have been chosen to accompany the Savior on the Journey of Unification."
  
  Needless to say, Gareth and his parents were shocked and they outright refused the idea at first. Gareth didn't believe he was worthy of aiding someone who was responsible for the very fate of the world while his parents were worried that their only son would meet an early end on the no doubt perilous and long journey that was to come. In the end though, there was nothing they could do. They couldn't just suddenly refuse what they believed in for all of their lives.
  
  With that, Gareth began his preparations and training for the Journey that lay ahead of him.
