Chapter 1: The Fundraiser
Saturday 4th September 1965
Evening - Clear sky, mild, dry

Introduction

The sun was setting in the city of London. As the dark skies took over, the streetlights switched on to illuminate the streets. In the club district of the East End, the bright lights of the bars, pubs and restaurants reflected the lively atmosphere that would soon build up as the night progressed. It was in these vibrant areas that people often forgot about the shady businesses and organised crime that lurked in the shadows. It was difficult to believe it happened right under everyone's noses, even in the most glamorous of establishments.

The main event in the East End tonight was the charity fundraiser which Francis Boulavard was holding at her neutral club, The Alley Cat. The funds raised would be donated to the orphanages of London, a cause very close to Francis' heart. An auction was being held to raise money, where people can bid for a female date. If that doesn't take a person's fancy they can offer the highest price for a piece of art, an antique or some stylish clothing. Anyone who knew anyone would be sure to attend such a high profile event. Key players in both the Morgan and Sullivan gangs were sure to attend. They were likely to take advantage of the opportunity to discuss business together as well as share some of their wealth with those in need.

The Russell Family Home

William Russell
will.jpg
William Russell had been out and about the East End for most of the day. It didn't matter how late he'd been out the previous night dealing with the casino and pubs, he still had to be out early in the morning to tend to the butcher's shop. With his assistant manager, Gerry, visiting relatives in Scotland for the weekend, it fell on Will to open up the shop and work until one of his employees arrived later in the morning. After that, he'd gone over at the garage checking in there. One of his younger mechanics was leaving to live in Birmingham, so he wanted to say goodbye to the lad. One of older employees had found a new kid to set on as an apprentice, one named Darius Romano. Will had yet to meet the new starter, but the lad's surname alone rang familiar to the man. He was aware of the Romano mob who operated in Sicily and Chicago as his own father had worked with them in the 1940s. That curiosity was for another day, though.

Will broke away from business for part of the afternoon to tend to something even more stressful - his wedding arrangements. The ceremony was only a few weeks away and despite having so long to arrange it, there still seemed to be so much left to do. Today, he was arranging the catering. Apparently he wasn't allowed to just get everyone into the pub for beer and bar snacks. He'd been told that wasn't good wedding reception etiquette. Instead, he'd managed to book a highly-rated catering company to put on some fancy food in the extravagant venue that had been booked a year earlier. It was a big hole in his pocket, but he knew it was worth it just to give his beautiful Jacky the most wonderful wedding day possible.

When he finally made it back home - to his family's large home - he didn't have long to get ready for the fundraiser at The Alley Cat. Obviously, Jacky would be attending the event with him. He'd also suggested his brothers and sister attended. He was certain they'd have a great time there and were guaranteed entry into the club, being that they were related to him.

Once dressed in his suit, he returned downstairs and approached his fiancee. "You look beautiful, Jacky," he told her, placing his arm around her waist and kissing her cheek. He hadn't seen very much of her over the last day or two, so it would be good to spend the night out together. The illegal side of his business had been a little troublesome, but he was certain it was all resolved now. Tonight, he was sure he could relax.

"Are you lot coming too?" he called out to his siblings. "You've got about thirty minutes before we leave." Will was curious as to whether Uncle Ed and his family would also show up at the fundraiser, as they'd talked about it a week earlier.

Francis Boulavard

It was the day everyone had been waiting for; Francis’ annual fundraiser. Francis anticipated this day all the time, mostly because she wanted to make sure everything went off without a hitch. She began planning for it almost four months ago and her time has been dedicated to it. Everything from invitations to decorations were done by Francis, finding things being done by your own hands the only way to guarantee no mistakes. She was still wearing her athletic wear trying to get the final touches done. There were a lot of “No no no, that goes over there” and “To the left a little” type directions being given. You’d feel bad for anyone who was working for her at that moment. They hadn’t taken a break all day, but Francis hadn’t taken a break all week. Her sole focus was set on the fundraiser that she basically became a recluse and had no social life. All of it would end tonight. All of her hard work will be shown to the world once again.

“Okay,” She said to all of the workers “, I do believe that’s it. Go home, get some rest, and be back here at six pm on the dot. All of this was six hours ago. Now she stood in her office, hair curled and pinned up with a green-blue dress on. She was pacing, it becoming almost normal since she did so every year. It was clear that Francis was nervous about the fundraiser. She was always worried something might go wrong and that her reputation would get hurt. Speaking of reputation, she needed to make sure her girls were ready. The girls of the brothel house that is. They were to be auctioned off to the highest bidder as were other women. She still hadn't decided if she too should participate, only wanting to see one man.

As she made her way to the secret side where the brothel house was held, she did a check of everything. 'Stop before you freak yourself out.' She told herself. All six of the girls were standing waiting for her approval. Once she had given it, they set out to wait backstage to surprise those that were to bid on them. "Ma'am?" She heard a voice say. She turned around to see one of the workers from earlier in a white tux with a black tie. They cleaned up nice from the sweaty mess that they had been before. "People have begun to arrive." This was the moment. The final moment. She took a deep breath before standing at the podium near the entrance. With a twirl of her finger, the band began to play upbeat music and she put a smile on.

"Welcome to The Alley Cat."

Alena had been in the operation room for about 3 hours and not to mention the fact that when she had gotten home, they called her to come back in because of an emergency. Alena felt bad, always coming home at 2 o'clock in the morning or even later. She never had time to spend with her son who she loved a lot. Alena knew that she was a bad mother for leaving her son on his own so that she could go and work. This was Alena's dream, being a doctor and helping others, but she also had another dream that popped up 17 years ago and that was her son. She hopes that he knows that everything she is doing, is for him and not solely for her own benefits. Alena hadn't seen her father nor her family is 17 years either, ever since she left Italy without a trace. They probably think that she is dead or still lost. Alena didn't know what to think, and frankly, she regretted doing so without informing them that she was at least okay. Alena was always tired of running and she just wanted to be someplace where she was happy and at peace. London was the place for her and it really did fit her. But she did know of the gangs that were around here such as the Russells and the Morgans. She would get half the block in the hospital after those two go off like it's a war.

Alena promised herself that she was going to stay away from people like that, and not to mention her past to anyone. She was afraid that they would recognize her last name or worst. Alena kept a low profile and she tried to have her son do the same, but teenagers will be teenagers and rebel against their mothers who only want the best for their sons. Alena had been invited to a charity event and she decided that she would go since it was a good fundraiser that all the profit will go to an orphanage which was sweet and kinda thing to do at a time like this. Alena was very generous with money and she taught her son that as well, that when people are in need we lend a hand. Alena had gotten home and taken a long nap after she had made dinner for Darius. Alena was now going to wait on Darius, wherever he was so that she could ask if he wanted to join her at the event or stay home. She really hoped that he would come with her since this would be a good opportunity to spend time with him and ask how he is doing.

It was a great night for the twenty-one year old Liam Redwyne, he just got off from the secretary works early from his boss Edward Russell because of the fundraiser at and now he is wearing an orange tuxedo for a 'grand date' with his girlfriend Evelyn Russell whom he loved so much. He have prepared this event for months and now it is a dream come true. Liam is well aware that his girlfriend Evelyn is a member of the family of organized gang because of his boss; Edward, said it to him although he assumes that Evelyn doesn't know what is happening within her family due to her innocent nature. It is better to stay this way rather to become part of it, Liam thought.

He would arrive on the Russell household with his Chevrolet Chevelle; a brand new car worldwide. He feels confident and he wanted to make sure that the first impression of Evelyn's family are great towards to his appearance, his status, and his personality. He would get out of his car and he proceeds to go to the door. He sighs for a moment, doing inhale-to-exhale method, he is nervous and excited at the same time. He sighed once again and he would push the doorbell.

Edward wasn't in the mood today, he recently got argued with a customer earlier at the Ed Apparel due to the clothing shop being closed down this early, good thing they didn't fought because of they fought with each other, the customer would have face the consequence he have done to a war veteran. The customer left anyway which left Edward not having a good time. It was a useless argument, he thought.

He was aware that there is a fundraiser event tonight at the Alley Cat, a nightclub. He and his nephew Will were talking about having a fundraiser event at this Alley Cat a week earlier, that's the reason why the Ed Apparel was closed down early because he doesn't want to miss this event. He talked about this fundraiser event to his family and I hope they are well aware that this event was tonight. Currently, he just finished getting dressed up with a new business suit. He looks at the mirror to takes a look to himself and it was done. He takes a look at his beautiful wife at the mirror even though he wasn't in the mood to talk, he asked her anyway.

"Are you ready?" Edward asked.

Leon Redwyne
W6pNU5D.png
Leon Redwyne; the master of finance in the Morgan Gang, the financial advisor of Dexter Morgan and a Morgan gangster, was so tired after the work he have done for the gang. His daily routine was to count the gang's finance and he haven't fought a single person for several months now. The peace have always been consolidate on East End but it will end soon as the Russells are ambitiously enough to expand their criminal empire which it would be Leon's advantage to betray the gang and start his own criminal empire but not yet, he needs more time and he will wait for the right time.

He is currently at the Hideout, taking a break after the work, he wants to get away from bullshit for now, he needs to calm himself first before going to the fundraiser event at the Alley Cat since he doesn't want to show his random sociopathic attitude towards to the people. He is currently drinking coffee and takes a cigarette at the same time. The teenage girl who was working as a waitress is so familiar to him and then again he decides to question this teenage girl.

"Hey kid, are you the daughter of the boss, right?" The exhausted and yet a chilled Leon would wait for the girl's response.

Evan Russell

Evan would suddenly wake up from the alarm clock and he scratched his head after that. He wants to get back to sleep but he decides to check what time it is. He raised his eyebrows and realized that it was a fundraiser event which would start thirty minutes from now. He sighs.

"Fuck me." Evan muttered.

Before getting up on bed, he would think about his girlfriend Jane Williams; who have died in the car accident three years ago, he sighs. He would inhale and exhale. He really missed his girlfriend so much, until now, he have a bitter hatred to the gang of hippy late teenagers, he wanted to kill them but that was in the past. The problem is that he can't move on with the girl he truly love, if only he could go back in time and prevent the car accident, he thought. He sigh as he gets up on the bed. He would go to the bathroom to take a shower for the great occasion that is thirty minutes from now. Another sad night for Evan Russell.

Eliza hummed softly to the Etta James record that she had put on in the living room, which echoed through their home. She knew Ed needed some serenity, plus the music was good. Work today had been more stressful than usual, seeing as her main headache was ordering more fabric. They were short on a certain plaid, which was quite a seller, and they needed more. The damn distributors however decided to skip them this week, which left for a very unhappy seamstress. Ed had also gotten into a argument, which obviously didn’t help. She knew her husband had a temper, and when provoked could be a force to reckon with.

Finishing her lipstick, she gave a once over in her small makeup mirror. Her short hair was curled, making it seem a tad longer, as if it were in a bun maybe. Her dress was scarlet, and slim, her heels black. Satifyied with her look, she stood from her bench and turned around, seeing her lovely husband.

He always looked good in suits, like James Bond, she always thought. His question, quietly stern, was a aid to know he was still in a bad mood. Frowning, she made her way into his arms, wrapping her hands around his waist. It took effort, but the two began to slowly waltz to the music around their room. “I’m ready, but you’re not. You’re still worked up from the shop, which you need to let go. We’ll be seeing Morgan’s at this event most likely, which won’t make your mood any better. But you’ve got to let go about that silly argument dear.” Seeing his face softened at her advice, which she was known for throughout the household, she leaned her head against his shoulder. “Not so hard, see?” Pulling away from their impromptu dancing, she smirked. “I never answered you question did I? Yes dear i’m ready, are you?”

Edward would listen to his wife as they began to slowly waltz to the music which he would began to embrace the Etta James record, it made him relaxed and getting a bit of a good vibes. He listened when his wife Eliza gave him an advice which he accepts it since it makes sense after all. He would smile when his beautiful wife leaned her head against his shoulder and then again they would do an impromptu waltz dance and Edward liked it.

While they are dancing, his wife smirked and asked him if he's ready. Edward would chuckle as he puts his right hand to his wife's face, pinching her cheeks. Edward would reply.

"I am ready, my beautiful wife but l still want to dance with you." Edward smiled as he turn his wife around gently.

4886d98a6d78f1f446276e2a254f4a2e--victoria-justice-victorious.jpg "I can't get no - dun dun dun - satisfaction..." Dottie held an imaginary microphone whilst she sang along to the jukebox and playfully danced behind the counter of The Hideout, a relatively small cafe/diner which was owned by her father. It was just a chilled out place where people could go to unwind and have a drink or bite to eat in a friendly atmosphere. When Dottie was working her shifts, usually the weekends as she had to attend school, the place seemed to have a little more energy within it. A customer has decided to play the Rolling Stones track which was practically inviting Dottie to sing and dance along. She looked a customer sat on a nearby stool at the counter and smiled to him. Little Old Harry, she called him. A sweet and frail old gentleman. "So, Harry. I was thinking of suggesting some theme nights here. Wouldn't that just be the best?" She paused as she bopped her head to the music and watched the man nod in agreement. "Oh wow. I have so many ideas already. Leave it with me!" she told him, like the old man was genuinely expecting to hear her plan and everything.

The song finished and some generic background music began to play again. Dottie tightened her apron again before walking out from behind the counter to check in with the customers. As she passed his table, Leon spoke directly to her. She recognised him as one of her father's employees, but he wasn't one she had spoken with before. Harvey seemed intimidating at times, but once she'd spoken to him some time ago, she realised he was actually a really nice man and he seemed to be interested in what she had to say. Leon never seemed quite as approachable, like he just wanted to get on with his work and avoid general conversation. But here he was, speaking to her, perhaps even what can be considered small talk?

"Hi there," she replied to Leon, a bright smile on her face. "Yes, my father owns this cafe," she answered him. She knew Leon meant the boss when he asked his question, but she wouldn't speak of her father's other activities in public. "I'm Dottie. What's your name again, Sir?" she asked. She was sure it began with the letter L, but didn't want to guess. She wondered if Leon was heading to the fundraiser that her family was attending. Her shift was due to finish in only a few minutes and she intended on rushing home to get ready to attend too. She hadn't been outright told she could attend, but she was going to be there. One way or another. She loved parties and enjoyed seeing her family and friends have fun.

Imogen Blake Isaac

cabaret.jpg Imogen had been at the Palace Theatre all day, doing another dress rehearsal for the current run of 'Cabaret'. She was the understudy for the lead role of Sally Bowles. She'd preferred being the understudy as 'Oliver Twist' was going to be showing again soon and she wanted to put her all into her true leading role for that one. She didn't mind the current show, but she didn't find the character as interesting as some of the other roles she'd performed and one of the co-stars was a dirty lecher. Charlie made her cringe at times, especially today when he was pestering her to attend the fundraiser with him, as his date. She'd told him in no uncertain terms that she would attend alone before going with him. Even if he hadn't gotten the message yet, she was certain his antics wouldn't last a second in Francis' club. Not with the tough club owner herself and the types of people who would be attending. Some being the same type of people who had Imogen's abusive ex magically disappear.

When rehearsals were finally over, Imogen wasted no time in getting out of the theatre and into her pretty red Ferrari so as to avoid more of Charlie. She headed to her family's home and parked up half-arsed in the driveway. Retrieving some shopping bags, she headed into the house. "Is anybody home?" she called out. Imogen worked erratic hours and spent so much time socialising that she didn't know who would be where on a Saturday. She knew Dottie worked at the cafe and still hadn't managed to go see her there, despite promising weeks ago that she would keep her company during her shift one time. Imogen set her bags down at the bottom of the staircase, happy with the shoes she'd purchased to go with the elegant red dress she'd decided to wear to the fundraiser. She wondered what Jacqueline would be wearing to the event. The two actresses were seen as friends in the public light, but there was clearly some sort of rivalry between them. Imogen hated to be so big-headed in her thoughts, she was sure the older woman was jealous of her. It probably didn't help that Imogen was a Morgan and Jacqueline was due to become a Russell.

Harvey Woodward

gtr.jpg Harvey had spent much of his day at the office, dealing with paperwork and going over some of the contracts. He shared his legal work between the Morgans and the general public. The Morgans were far more interesting than some dispute between a small-time bakery over the copyright on the name of some damn cupcake. His day have become more interesting when going over one of the Morgan contracts and it seemed like one supplier had boldly hiked up the prices without an agreement put in place. He was soon over at Mr Henderson's place and with a little non-physical persuasion, he'd managed to resolve the issue. The Morgans now had a further discount on their stock and Mr Henderson wouldn't be fucking up again any time soon. All in all, it had been an easy day and that put Harvey in a good mood, just in time for the fundraiser at Francis' club.

The black taxi cab pulled up outside The Alley Cat and Harvey climbed out of the vehicle with an air of confidence about him. He stood still as he smoothed out his suit and then entered the club he was very familiar with. Inside, he saw Francis nearby and approached her. He placed his hand on her shoulder and a friendly kiss on her cheek. "The place looks fabulous, Francis," he told her. Despite the man being quite the flirt, that wasn't the case with Francis. He respected her as a businesswoman first and a friend second. He placed a lot of value in her club as Dexter himself no doubt did. "You never fail to impress. I'm sure things will run smoothly, but give me a heads up if anyone causes you and your girls trouble," he told her.

Harvey then looked around to see if Oliver and Allison had arrived yet, as he'd agreed to meet the two Morgan siblings at the club. Now Allison, he did like to flirt with.

Oliver’s day was quite uneventful to his standards. He had a meeting at noon with the mayor, seeing as anything politics was his responsibility, and the event tonight needed to be planned accordingly. The event itself was majority planned by Ms. Boulavard, but certain aspects he gratefully assisted with. Parking would be an issue, knowing most attendes would have a valet of sorts. It didn’t take much persuasion for the mayor to hand over a vacant city lot for the event, which would be filled with both Morgan and Russell minute-men. But that was a gracious as he was going to be, knowing by doing the woman a favor she would owe him one in turn. And Oliver Morgan always made sure to never forget a favor...

Choosing a taxi for the event, knowing his brother or sister would have a valet he could use later, he sat silently in the back. Choosing a tailored prince of wales patterned english cut suit, his shirt a light blue, and tie a darker navy. The car slowly came to a crawl as the taxi pulled up to the Alley Cat, in which he gave the driver a nod as he stepped out. Taking a few moments due to his leg, his cane clicked on the sidewalk as his weight was directed to it, and completely out of the car. Shutting the door, he quickly adjusted his glasses
0ov5186_1569_030a.jpg
, and flattened his suit. Feeling presentable, he hobbled into the club.

Nightclubs were never a place Oliver liked, and tonight was no exception. The flamboyant woman, the excess of achohal, and the primal nature men took here always disgusted him. But, he had to attend the event, Dexter made him. Luckily his sister would arrive, and help take his mind off the sheer pomposity of the event. Spotting a familiar dark-haired man, he began to make his way over. “Harvey over here!” He called over the music and chatter, raising his free hand in the air. Successfully flagging down his protégée, he waited patiently for him to make his way towards him. Once doing so, he nodded and began. “How was Mr. Henderson today? I was suppose to handle that affair, until being dragged to the bloody mayor’s office.”

Leon Redwyne

Leon would nod at the teenager as she replied that this cafe is owned by her father which is Leon's boss; Dexter Morgan. I guess he remembered that the teenager is in fact the daughter of the boss; the youngest child in the Morgan family to be exact. He would take drink his coffee while holding his cigarette when the teenager introduced herself to him. After drinking his coffee which is now empty, he would put the cup onto the table and then he would put the cigarette on his mouth which he smoked and exhales it to the air away from the teenager. Leon would look at the teenager.

"Just call me Mister Leon, kid." Leon said as he puts his fading cigarette on the table.

"Now, kid, can I have the bill now? I have an occasion to attend." Leon asked politely to the teenager, he doesn't want to be hard on her since she is just a teenager. Looking at her makes him remember his brother Liam who is obviously older than her. Times changing, he thought.

"Where is that gosh darn shoe!?" Evie was throwing a few of her shoes out of the chest they had been neatly tucked away and was beginning to worry she would never be able to find the mate to her darling new heels. The girl grumbled a few words under her breath before pushing back a strand of hair before she finally found the damned thing underneath her bed. "Got ya! haha." Evelyn laughed to herself before sighing and moving to sit on her bed. She quickly slipped the shoe on and fastened it before moving standing to look at the mess she created. Her tap shoes were in the corner and her pointe shoes were in another. Shaking her head softly, she could only laugh at herself as she moved to clean up the mess she had made.

Neatly tucking the shoes away in the chest again, the doorbell rung from downstairs causing her heart to flutter slightly. Evelyn knew it was Liam, which meant she had to be quick if she wanted to get to the door before her brothers. Shuffling out of her room, she grabbed her clutch before hurrying down the stairs. "I'll get it! I'll get it!" Evie sung out to her siblings, running as quickly as she could in her get up before coming to a sliding halt at the door. She caught sight of William but she was already too close to the door to let him try and wiggle his way in to embarrass the hell out of her. She knew he was looking out for her, but she had a whole army of men already doing that.

The girl was about to open the door before she realized she must fix her appearance. Taking a moment, she took a deep breath in, before letting it all out, effectively calming her nerves. Patting her curled hair lightly and straightening out her gown. She cleared her throat before opening the door and smiling widely at the man before her. "Well well well Mr. Redwyne. Don't you look dashing this evening, can't say I'm surprised though, you always look your best. Hello darling." She murmured before leaning in to kiss his cheek.

Allison was late. She knew this to be true as the car she had taken slowly came to a stop in front of the night club. She opened her purse and pulled out her compact mirror before moving to powder her nose and checking her lipstick. Allison was all for the night life, unlike her dearest brother who would rather stay away, Allison saw this as an opportunity for new things. This fundraiser was sure to be a hit, and for such a good cause. Allison always had a soft spot in her heart for those in need, so she was happy to join in on the occasion. "Miss?" Her driver called to her. The blonde had been so caught up in her thoughts that she hadn't even noticed they came to a complete stop and came around to open the door. Regardless, Allison played it cool and smiled without looking up at the driver. "Now now love, I may be just a woman...and I may not know as much as some may think. But a word of advice..." She sighed and snapped the compact mirror close before placing it back in her bag and stepping out of the car with the helping hand of her driver. Taking the opportunity, she flirtatiously leaned in with a small smile. "Next time, try to keep your eyes on the road...my dear brother would have your head if I were killed because you were simply thinking with what's in your pants." The driver blanched and was stuttering to come up with some pathetic excuse as to why he had stared...but she was already turning on her heels and walking towards the club, not having time for such immature nonsense..but enjoyed watching a grown man squirm.

Once inside, the blonde scanned the area for her familiar faces. It took a few moments but when her eyes spotted her brother and Harvey, she immediately moved towards them. Allison loved the night life...but definitely not while spending it alone. She sauntered over to them with her usual confidence and smiled sweetly at both men. "Sorry I'm late, had to put someone in their place," She looked between the two of them and whistled lowly in appreciation. "Oh dear brother, how have you not been jumped by the nearest woman yet? These women should be swooning!" Allison placed a hand on Ollie's shoulder before kissing his cheek lightly in greeting. Her icy blue eyes looked to Harvey and she raised an eyebrow, one thing she definitely enjoyed was the constant flirting game she shared with the man. "Saving yourself for me Harvey? Oh dear, how did I deserve such an honor! I guess these women are boring compared to the fight I put up huh? A small smirk played on her lips.

Johanna de Groot; now known as Hanna Reyne, has been in London for four years. Her English accent has been improved and according to her, London is literally a safe place for now. She is far away from the Netherlands, she left her country since she is one of the most wanted and dangerous criminals until now although it's been assumed that Johanna de Groot is either missing or dead according to the sources coming from the Koninklijke Marechaussee (or Royal Marechaussee) and Korps Nationale Politie (or the National Police Force) from the law enforcement in the Netherlands, either way, she's happy and most likely she have decided not to go back to her past as she is now Hanna Reyne. And also, her restaurant, the Reyne Bistro, a quite an elite restaurant in East End, has been considered a success which rivals another restaurant called Rosemary which is owned by Dexter Morgan; a business rival although Hanna considers him to be a friendly business rival and she is well aware that Dexter Morgan is the boss of the London Mob and she doesn't want to mess with him despite the fact that Hanna has experienced in leadership skills of an organized crime. Anyhow, a staff member who is holding a paper envelope approached Hanna Reyne.

"Ma'am. There's a paper envelope, it is for you." The staff member would extend his right arm, giving the paper envelope to Hanna. Hanna accepts it.

"You can go back to work, Aaron." Hanna smiled at him.

The staff member smiled back and proceeds to go back to work. Hanna would open the paper envelope and it reveals an invitation letter coming from the Alley Cat which hosts a charity event. She reads the letter, after reading, she was satisfied that a woman named Francis Boulevard which considered to beone of the popular figures in the East End, have invited a restaurant owner. She puts the letter back to the paper envelope.

"I guess I'm going to wear my grand clothes and meet people!" She joked but she was excited to become part of a charity event.

She would go to the kitchen where her staff members were busy. It seems the employees in the Reyne Bistro have improved well, she smiled.

"People, I'll be back!" Hanna yelled to the busyworking staff members before leaving the bistro. The staff members would acknowledge what their boss said. She would go back to her apartment not far from the Bistro to get dressed from this charity event or a fundraiser event that will be held in the Alley Cat; a nightclub.

After pushing the bell, Liam's heart goes up as he was somehow nervous what would happen next, he quickly grab his bubblegum from his pocket and he decides to chew it. He was chewing it which it will calm him down and mind the taste of the gum. A minute later, the door was open by his wonderful girlfriend Evelyn, he was relieved. He was expecting that the door would be open by Evelyn's mother or her eldest brother. Either way, he was relieved that it was her who opened the door and he was so glad that his girlfriend kissed her in the cheeks. He would proceed to pinch her cheek gently and winks at her while chewing the gum although he noticed that she was murmuring, he smirked but either way he decides to whisper her back as he leaned his head towards Evelyn's ear.

"Am I going to introduce myself to the family or we get out of here? If you know what I mean." Liam smiled at the end, whispering at his girlfriend while chewing his gum gently.

He'd at least being polite enough to direct his smoke away from her, which she certainly appreciated. She didn't much like being called a kid or treated like one, but it was something she was used to by now so she tried not to dwell on it. The man then asked for the bill and she nodded her head. She heard him mention attending an occasion and figured he meant the fundraiser that the rest of her family was attending. She wouldn't say it to him, but she was sure she would see him there.

Dottie returned to his table a minute later and placed the bill down in front of the man. "Here you go, Mister Charming Leon," she joked.

Shortly after Leon had left, Dottie's shift ended and she couldn't get her apron off quick enough. Before leaving, she told the waitress and chef to make sure they locked the place up together, for their security. She may still be a schoolkid and not even cautious over her own safety, but she'd certainly got her protective nature from being around her family and their employees.

Once home, Dottie didn't wait to be greeted by any family members or to check who was home, simply rushing upstairs to get ready for the fundraiser. She knew she didn't have very long at all to get dressed up, but she accepted that challenge. By the time she was ready, she stood in front of the mirror and admired the cute dress and high heels she was wearing. She felt pretty classy tonight, perhaps even as classy as Imogen and her aunt Allison, or at least she hoped. Dottie loved her big sister, but she always felt overshadowed in the glamorous and successful woman's presence. She wanted people to call her "Dottie" rather than "Dexter Morgan's kid" or "Imogen Isaac's little sister". She also hoped there would be some cute guys at this fundraiser, expecting it to be a far reach to expect her schoolyard crush, Darius, to be present.

Harvey noticed his mentor, Oliver, beckoning him over and gave him an acknowledging nod. Unlike himself, he knew Oliver wasn't keen on events such as these. Harvey loved them; being able to socialise over a few drinks and have fun charming attractive women. He stopped when he reached Oliver and listened intently as the man asked about Mr. Henderson. "Oh, he started off pretty sure of himself and expecting us to accept his prices. I set him straight and he soon enough changed his tune. I've secured a discount and he's happily this walking the streets without any injuries." Harvey practically rolled his eyes at mention of the mayor, not a fan of corrupt politicians, even if they did have their uses. "It's not problem, Oliver. I was having a boring day in the office, if I'm honest. I much prefer being out on fieldwork... And your day was probably worse than mine if you had to be in the mayor's presence."

Harvey's attention was then drawn to Oliver's sister as she sauntered towards them looking as elegant as always. She was like a blonde goddess, gliding towards them. Flirting with Allison was more of a game than flirting with random women in the club. He knew Allison wouldn't be accompanying him to bed after a night of sweet-talking and she could certainly hold her own. That's what made him respect her and what made their play more enjoyable. "Good evening, Allison," he greeted her, a smirk playing on his lips. "Considering you dressed up so well just for me, I believe saving myself for you is a wise move. You know I like a challenge," he coolly noted.

Oliver nodded as Harvey explained how his day went, which sounded much better than his. Although he knew politics like the back of his hand, he hated being around politicians. Especially local ones. They were snobby, as well as demanding, but luckily a flash of his hidden weapon usually silenced both of those attributes. “Good. I expected nothing less from you, I mean I did teach you afterall?” Smirking, he felt a soft hand touch his shoulder, making him jolt instinctively.

Turning to see his sister, Allison, he chuckled to himself. The military blessed him with annoying habits, one being extremely cautious. “Well Alli, cripples aren’t what women are swooning over,” He said light-heartily as he tapped his cane against his bad leg. “But that doesn’t mean you can’t have a good time, you like these type of bloody things anyways.”

Oliver grumbled, listening to his protege and sister flirt, it was quite annoying, as well as his protecting instinct kicking in. As much as he liked Harvey, he could be flirty and primal at times, despite his intelligence. “Harvey you better keep it in your trousers tonight... You do know what’s laced in the blade correct?” His tone wasn’t as threatening as it would usually be, instead more warningly. Turning to his sister, he continued his warnings “Goes for you too, I don’t want this suit stained with some lonely man’s blood.”

Evie giggled slightly as Liam affectionately pinched her cheek and winked her way. The man's charm always made her tickle pink, already feeling warm. Though if his actions didn't turn her pink, his words were sure to. A large smile formed on her face and it was followed by another giggle. Her heart fluttered in her chest and she really contemplated on not introducing him and just skipping out like he was suggesting. "Don't let my old grouch of a brother hear you, I don't think he'd take to kindly to that. He's been looking forward to meeting you." Evie murmured honestly before kissing his cheek on more time, since he was so close to her. After a moment, she stepped away and took his hand before leading him inside. "Come on then, lets not keep the grouch waiting." She said and a look of nervousness took over her soft features before taking a deep breath.

"Ooo Willie!" Her voice called to her oldest brother, her hand still in Liam's as she gently pulled him through the house. She found her brother and Jacky conversing when Evie paused almost shyly. A blush formed on her cheeks again and she offered a sweet smile to the engaged couple. "Sorry to interrupt, but uh...Liam's here." Evelyn looked to her brother with an expression that begged him to not embarrass her or her date.

Allison's cheeks turned a slight pink at Harvey's words, taking her by surprise for once. The man flirted well, she knew this and had seen him in his prime. But Allison was a very experience woman who knew what she wanted. His sweet talking did little but amuse her and keep her distracted...but tonight seemed different. She raised a perfectly arched eyebrow and a small smirk formed on her lips as well. He had noticed her appearance, which pleased her more than it probably should have. He stated he liked a challenge, which Allison had caught onto quickly. The challenge didn't seem like it would be her tonight as her brother grumbled over their flirtatious banter.

Allison looked to Ollie with amusement as he threatened to stab his dear protege with a poisoned blade. His tone indicated he wasn't as serious as he could have been, Allison had watched a few men die at the hands of her brother, each one had it coming though. Ollie turned to her as well, giving her a warning about not making him take care of some poor lonely bastard, to which Alli rolled her eyes. "Oh brother please," Her eyes traveled to Harvey as she spoke, "If the man is with me then how could he possibly be lonely? I will have you know I can make any man forget his troubles." She sent a wink Harvey's way before looking back to her brother with a small smile. "I promise to behave...besides these men should be bidding on the women of the auction...I couldn't bear the guilt if the fundraiser failed on behalf of my flirtatious ways. You have my word, no need to threaten the poor man."

Her brother never had a good time at these events and she would make sure that tonight he would at least try. "Now stop fussing over me and try to enjoy yourself, its for a good cause remember?"

Francis Boulavard

Francis manned the door, welcoming people in and reminding them about her no gun policy. It surprised her by the amount of people who actually brought guns to the event. It was a fundraiser for bloody children for crying out loud, what protection did they need? Although, she did take into consideration the mixed company. There were Morgan's and Russell under one roof and there was no doubt some heated tension. However, everyone knew the rules about fighting in her establishment and she was sure they wouldn't dare. Her train of thought when a familiar voice spoke to her. Looking up she saw Harvey and smiled at his compliment. She returned his kiss on his cheek and patted his chest. "Thank you love. You clean up quite nicely." Their conversation was cut short, Harvey having to see to his higher up. She made a mental note to talk to him later as she moved on.

She would walk around, talking with those who had arrived and reminding the women that if they too desired to be auctioned off, to sign a slip and place it in a bowl off on a table. Her eyes were still searching for that one person she would pretend to not look for. For now, she would wait another ten minutes before getting the ball rolling. Not only to wait for him but the others, as she hadn't seen any Russell in attendance so far. Perhaps they were late, as they often were. "Some things never change..." She had found her way back towards the Morgan's, where Harvey had gone and smiled at Oliver and Alison.

"For a worthy cause indeed. Good evening you two." She said to the two Morgans. "Your dress is beautiful. And you Mr. Oliver. Dashing as always."

Timothy Russell

Timothy had been asleep that whole day, only waking up when it was time to attend the fundraiser. The night before he spent out with some strangers, getting drunk and high at some party. He met a woman at the bar who asked if he'd like to go out on an adventure. At first he was going to refuse but when she flashed him a white substance, well, how could our drug addict refuse? He went along with her and ended up at what seemed to be an underground house with loud music and a lot more drugs. Our boy Timmy partied hard into the night and woke up with the worst headache. He sat on the edge of his bed and rubbed his hand across his face and through his hair, looking around. A red-head was in bed next to him and he groaned before patting her leg to get her to wake up. Once she did, she sat up and began kissing his neck, to which he pushed off. "I've gotta be somewhere and you've gotta go." She pouted and wasn't really budging so he got up and faced her. "Listen, you were real fun last night but that was last night. It's past midnight and you've turned back into a pumpkin. Now please. Piss off." She finally got out and left with a huff.

Now that he was alone, he flopped back on the bed. His head was pounding and in that moment he regretted going out with that red-head in the first place. He decided that he should probably begin to get dressed, as he wouldn't want to be late to Francis' event. It took him about two hours to get ready and when William gave the 30 minute warning, he still wasn't ready. He couldn't find his tie. As he made his way downstairs, he noticed his little sister and her boyfriend in a room with William and Jacqueline. He couldn't remember her boyriend's name so for the moment, he didn't address him. "Evie! You seen my tie, love?"

Clementine Russell

Clementine had woken that day same time and doing what she always had. She'd get her cup of coffee and walk around her home, looking in on the boys if they had slept there. She had seen Jacky and William together, smiling at the thought of the two of them getting married soon. With a glass of water, she placed it on the nightstand of Timothy's room, knowing he would probably need it. She took note of the girl sleeping next to him and shook his head. When will this boy settle down? She thought to herself. But everyone knew that that wasn't a possibility. She had checked on all of her sons and lingered on Evie. Whenever she had done her little walk through, she'd spend the most time looking in on her daughter. So sweet an innocent and she hoped she would stay that way forever. Clem never wanted her daughter to feel the same heartbreak as she.

When she was done, she would spend the rest of her time getting ready for the fundraiser. A long warm bath with her hair pinned up, then she would move on to her makeup. There was a look she had been dying to try with her new black dress, the one she had made herself. She was determined to show it to the world, showing them that she was still at it and to wait for more. In a few weeks, she had a show in Paris to get to and this dress was apart of the lineup. It was a sneak peak for her new line. Once she was done, she made her way down to the den to fix herself a cup f brandy. Her children were probably half-way done getting dressed when she was finished and she yelled up to them. "Hurry up! You know I don't like being late!" It surprised her when William was the first downstairs, knowing him to take a while. "Well, don't the two of you look nice?"

Oliver rolled his eyes as his sister spoke, talking up her skills with men. If she really was that good, she would have never settled down and married... But, he kept that thought silent, not wanting to interrupt Allison’s happiness. She had finally rebounded from her husband, and he was glad for it. Although the long nights of him holding his tear-soaked sister in his arms as she cursed away the world were forever branded in memory...

Oliver had found Allison at her favorite place to be alone, the park. It had been a long night, looming over 3am, although he was wide awake. The hunt for his sister was greater than anything, expecially in this time of need. She was drunk, and smelled of whiskey when he found her. And she resisted him much less than he expected, as he ushered her into his car and back home.
Now the two sat on her couch, Allison sprawled in his lap, muttering under her breath. Setting a soft hand on her shoulder, she shivered slightly, then screamed... “I can't be without him now Ollie, not now. After everything we've been through! he's just gone! taken from me! I can't be here please, I don't want to be here. I can't be without him. He was my life. What the fuck is there left to live for!"
Biting his lip, his icy eyes losing all coldness, he sighed. “There’s so much to live for Alli... Don’t say that. Sometimes this world is cruel, but we always come back... And you’ll never be alone, not ever. I will always be here. Always.” Letting his sister cry herself to sleep in his arms, the sheer cruel ness of the situation at hand made his breathes shakey, and his eyes watered...

But he let that memory stay silent, his sisters happiness was paramore than his own. No matter what the sacrifices were. Now quiet, curtsey of his thoughts, he simpered. “Well whatever keeps you enjoying the night Allison is quite alright. You’ll know where i’ll b-” Just as he was preparing to leave the two be, Francis Boulavard made her greeting to the trio. Adjusting his glasses as she spoke, her words not holding any importance to him, he forced a smile. “As do you Ms. Boulavard, quite stunning... Excellent venue you’ve got yourself tonight, I was happy to help you in anyway I could.”

Untitled.jpg Will had heard the doorbell and before he had chance to go answer, he heard his sister's footsteps rushing down the stairs followed by her yelling that she would answer. He couldn't help but smirk to himself, figuring it was the young man, Liam, he'd been hearing about. His own Uncle Ed seemed fond of him, but that didn't mean Will was going to instantly trust Liam with Evelyn. Not long after, Evelyn called out Will's name and found him with Jacky. Will's eyes briefly glanced to his sister before focusing on the young man who was chewing gum and was dressed in an orange tuxedo.

Will caught the shyness radiating from him sister and sent her a quick, warm smile. He also noticed her expression screamed out for him not to embarrass her. "Liam..." he began, outstretching his arm so he could give the young man a firm handshake. He then folded his arms and maintained eye-contact. "So, you're the young man Evie's been smiling about," he remarked. His hands were tied here. His sister didn't want to be embarrassed and all Will could think to do was exactly that. It was a difficult task not coming across as protective, so why try? "So, Liam... I already know you work for my uncle. Tell me, what do you get up to in your spare time?" he questioned him. He was sure he'd already crossed the line his sister had tried to draw, but it was done now. If their arsehole father had stuck around, he was certain he'd be doing more to interrogate the lad then than asking him about his hobbies. The man hadn't stuck around so it fell on Will's shoulders to do this.

When Timmy entered the room, Will's attention was briefly drawn to his brother. He knew he'd brought some girl back the previous night, but he also hoped he hadn't done anything dangerous or stupid whilst drunk as hell. Will had no idea it was more than alcohol he should be worrying about his brother being addicted to. If only he knew the whole truth.

Then Clementine arrived on the scene and Will smiled fondly to his mother. "You look great, Mum," he told her, giving her a kiss on the cheek, but careful not to mess her make-up. "I think you're the one I need to keep my eye on tonight," he joked. He then glanced back to Evelyn and Liam, clearly not completely sold on them yet.

Harvey knew he should probably be a little more careful flirting with Allison around her brother, but that didn't mean he felt compelled to stop. The woman was old enough and strong enough to make her own decisions. If that decision was to tell him to stop flirting with her, then he would agree without any sort of argument or pushiness. Oliver then gave him warning and Harvey did all he could to keep a straight expression. "Don't worry, Oliver. These trousers will be staying on tonight," he assured him. However, sometimes he was known to leave parties in the early hours of the morning. Regardless, he admired the bond between the siblings and understood Oliver's need to protect Allison, so he wouldn't dream of trying to make a fool out of his mentor.

Harvey remained silent as Allison responded to her brother, finding her comments a little amusing. When she mentioned some of the men should be bidding on the women, Harvey's face lost its amusement. He for one would be doing nothing of the sort. Any money he spent tonight would be on inanimate objects. Whilst he respected Francis and didn't speak ill of the brothel, it didn't mean he liked it one bit.

It seemed Allison's words had got through to Oliver and he relented in letting her enjoy her night. Harvey kind of hoped that despite his reputation, Oliver would at least trust him to respect Allison. When Francis came over to speak with the Morgan siblings, Harvey remained silent and began to scan the club to see if there were other people he recognised. He was aware the Russells would be present and that didn't bother him as long as they didn't cross the Morgans. In fact, he was on relatively good terms with Will himself, despite the odd clashing of personalities.

Jacky had spent the day hard at work preparing for tonight. She was beyond excited to spend the night out on the town with the love of her life. As of late Will had been utterly distracted with his ... business. Something he made efforts to keep from her, but she knew the truth of it. Between that and his planning for their wedding Jacky had spent most of her days rehearsing at the theater and her evening performing. She had gone to her dress maker to have her dress final fitted before sending it home, the next several hours she was seated with the other girls from the theater at the salon making their hair and make up perfection. It was important for Jacky to keep up appearances; in just a few short weeks would be a new life for her. Her dwindling fame was more than a little bothersome for the actress; more so the rise of a new starlet Miss Imogen was the public's new favorite to adore and it had been hard for Jacky to accept.

Her last performance would be the night before she married and it was both sad and exciting. Jacky adored Will beyond anything she could conceive, the man (and his family) had certainly taught her the meaning of love and she knew she would find happiness in her new life as his wife. Regardless of this there was still a pang of regret and jealousy for other's who's careers were just starting in the lime light.

After dressing she drove to the Russell family home and let herself in to wait. She had long ago had it out with Mama Rose and now was a welcomed member inside the household, regardless of their occasional differing opinions. She smiled hearing William's compliment and leaned into his quick kiss a quick pink flush rushing across her cheeks. All the years together the man still managed to make her heart flutter with the simplest of comments.

There was soon a mad rush around the household - as it seemed almost typical for the Russell's, with Evelyn arriving with her date, Clementine and Timmy both joining them. She watched contently at a distance as they acted and reacted to one another perfectly, marveling as just how loving they were.

Maggie was both excited and nervous as she paced behind the bar at the Alley Cat. She had worked, painfully, at times to reach perfection for Francis' Fundraiser; the first time she would be there working as her Right Hand. This was her opportunity to prove to herself and everyone else, she was capable of running the show one day; that she could be trusted enough and with everything and that maybe just one night Francis could take the night off. She had set up and organized everything she could preemptively for Francis and had watched in horror as her boss had come and rearranged things so they were perfection but the whole day hadn't been torment for Maggie; there had been small victories when Francis would come to inspect just how a display was set, or how alcohol was displayed and arranged with her detailed eye and walked away.

After being dismissed Maggie had dashed to her apartment to dress for the night and returned post haste. She served the guests as they arrived, filling orders for the waiters as they arrived with their trays and kept close tabs on the staff trying to give Francis the freedom she needed to host.

Steven had had little contact with Francis' of the past few months; she had been utterly devoted to her night and he had given her what ever space and support she needed. He had watched in awe at the woman's drive for nothing but perfection. He knew if he even had one man in his employ was devoted Francis was to his work he'd be further ahead in his career than he was now. Hell if he had the same drive he would be running the show, not paying out rent and proceeds to his boss. It had been, inspiring, for Steve to watch the woman work tirelessly, never ending. He still attended the Alley Cat when he could; when work wasn't calling him in late, or early, and away from his protective watch over the two women in his life (and one who simply ignored him).

He had been surprised when Francis' had turned over an invitation in his name one morning when he had walked her home after hours. This was the events of events, everyone talked about it and really only the elite were invited to this sort of affair. He had resisted, thanked her, but he would just cramp her style but when she persisted ... well he couldn't say no to the woman. He closed shop early, hell his own boss was going to be at the fundraiser tonight, headed home to shower and dress. He trimmed his beard, dressed in the finest suit he could afford. He stood in his bedroom before the tall mirror looking himself over. "Not going to get any better than this." He sighed and shook his head, collecting his keys from his dresser and heading out.

Allison had watched her brother very closely as he grew silent. Her eyes searched to know just what was going through his thoughts in those moments. But just as his eyes faded into a memory, they returned just as quickly. Francis Boulavard appeared, snapping her brother from his deep thoughts. She stood silently and watched as he forced a smile, knowing how much he despise interactions. Allison nodded her head in appreciation to Francis' compliment and smiled beautifully her way, agreeing with her brother's words...even if he might not have thought them to be true. "You look like a star Ms. Boulavard." The blonde echoed after her brother.

He finished speaking and she knew that it was her moment to step in and ease his troubled mind in situations like this. "Seems like your ladies are a hit so far, though I think I am going to stick to the clothing bid tonight." Alli chuckled softly, not really one for the bidding of women. Sure if it was a business and a livelihood, she respected it, but the women shouldn't have to do such things. Its such a man's world. Allison looked to her brother before glancing Harvey's way, noticing he got quiet after Ollie threatening him...she hoped her brother hadn't upset him, it was only good fun after all.

Looking to her brother, she offered him a quick escape from the chit chat and smiled his way. "Oh Ollie darling, would you be a doll and get me a drink?" She knew it might have been odd to ask with his injury and all, but she knew her brother well and knew what he needed.

When Oliver brought up him helping her she smiled and touched his arm. "Right, thank you so much. It would've been a horrible night ." She then turned her attention to Allison and her comment on the auction. "I hope so. They are dying to be wined and dined by rich men. And hopefully the men know the rules." The last bit she sort of said to herself, not really meaning to say it aloud. Clearing her throat she put on another smile. "We should start soon so please be patient. Everything actually seems to be starting on time, actually." She was kind of surprised that things were running smoothly and on time. Suffice the Russell's and Stephen not showing up yet, but it would be fine. "I do believe you'll be able to bid on some of Clem's old fashion lines. The ones she never sold." She gave a wink to Allison before catching sight of Margaret. "Oh! Sorry I see one of my associates and must talk to her. We'll speak later?" She told them before making her way, slowly, to Margaret. Every time she left someone, another person would come up to her to compliment her on the fundraiser. She'd thank them and move on and the cycle would repeat. When she finally made her way over, she took a deep breath.

"I nearly forgot how busy I'd be during these things. How are you love?" She knew that this would be her first time working a fundraiser as her actual right hand. Francis wanted to make sure that she was okay before anyone else. "If you ever need a break, let me know and I'll slide in for you."

Timothy was still looking for his tie while everyone was talking. "Tied to your bed post dear. Looks like you and your red-head had quite the evening." His mother said. She gave him a stern look before drinking out of her glass. He rubbed the back of his neck before running back upstairs to his room. Just as his mother had said it, it was tied around the bed post. What the hell had he gotten himself into last night, he wondered. He'd have to figure it out later. Running back downstairs he finally noticed Liam, still trying to figure out his name. "Hey, this the bloke that Evie been seeing?" He gave Liam a pat on the shoulder before walking over to where his mother stood and gave her a kiss, whispering an apology in her ear. He would get himself a glass of whiskey and look around the room.

"Well look at this little family. Quite attractive, might I say. The Russell family walking into Frankie's fundraiser is going to turn heads."

Clementine Russell

Without mercy, Clementine had revealed Timmy's little late night rendezvous and watched him run upstairs. When he came back down, he whispered an apology and simply smiled. "Mhmmm. If you say so." He had mentioned something about Evie's boyfriend and she looked over. She too hadn't even seen him and looked him up and down. He looked nice enough, that's for sure, but the thing that worried her was if it was all a façade. "Oh! Liam, was it? Nice to meet you." A quick glance at the clock made Clementine gasp. "William, you can do your interrogation at the fundraiser. We have to go and go right now. I do NOT like being late, especially since last seasons line is to be auctioned off."

Oliver stood silently after he finished, thankful for his sister taking the reins of the conversation. The night life was her element, as manipulation and politics his. He liked his evenings quiet, either with a book, record, and a glass of scotch. Turning to his sister as he was addressed, smiling, although his icy eyes still quivered. “Oh course! Just thought about hobbling to get one myself.” Dipping his head to Francis as she tapped his shoulder gently, he gladly left the group.

It took a good while sifting through the crowd and whatnot, but surely he made his way to the bar. Ordering himself a scotch, his sister her usual, he leaned against the bar as he eyes scanned the party for any familiar faces. The lack of Russell’s at the moment was surprising, this event was pivotal for the public eye. And the Russells usually lacked compared to his family in this department. Nodding to the bartender as the drinks arrived, knowing his sister would return to home once conversation was over, he sipped his glass gently, watching the group he had left from afar.

Liam nodded to his girlfriend's remarks. He would lean away from Evelyn's ear back to his position after getting kissed on a cheek one more time. He would sigh and takes a deep breath. It's time to meet the main Russell Family household. They would hold their hands together as they entered the household, he would observe the surroundings from left to right, he was quite amazed from the textures of the household. When his girlfriend called out his older brother, he would immediately shift his attention towards to his older brother. He was a bit uncomfortable when he saw his girlfriend's older brother although he tend to be cool and be confident by chewing a gum, he blinks a moment as the older brother approached them.

When Evelyn's older brother began to speak in front of Liam by saying his name, he would address him as 'Mister Russell' after addressing Liam's name, as the older brother would give him a firm handshake, he accepted it and blinks for a moment. He would maintain an eye contact with William after that by chewing his gum. When William remarked about his status towards to his little sister, he would just nod as he chew his gum gently. There was a dead air for a moment until Evelyn's older brother began to speak with him, he acknowledge Liam's boss which Liam raised his eyebrows as he chew his gum slowly and slowly. The older brother would even question what he would do on spare time. As Liam was going to speak infront of William, another Russell brother would enter the room, he would ask Evelyn where his tie is while completely ignoring him although Liam's eye was focused to Timmy. He would also shift his attention towards to Jacqueline for a mere second; who was an actress. He was completely surprised that William's fiancee was an actress. As the mother would arrive on the scene, he quickly shift his gaze towards to the mother. When the mother acknowledged Liam's presence and replied to him. He would reply back by saying,

"Nice to meet you too, ma'am."

When the mother acknowledges the time and somehow complained about it. He would look at his girlfriend Evelyn for a moment which he smiled awkwardly. He would shift his attention back to the family as he doesn't know what to do next other than chewing his gum gently.

When Edward noticed the time, he would stop the impromptu waltz with his wife. "Hmm, we are almost late, love. We don't want our great nephew to get upset. And also, our children might waiting for us too." He chuckled as he kissed his wife's lips and would proceed to get out of the room. Edward is in a good mood for now thanks to his lovely wife. He would go to Evan's room but it's locked, he would knock Evan's room but there's seem no respond.

"Hey son, hurry up, we're almost late!" Edward would fold his arm as he waits for his son to come out from his room, he was slightly worried that his son has been sad for three years until now. It seems the car accident damaged his heart and his character. I guess he still loves his girlfriend who have died in the car accident three years ago, Edward thought.
