Hawk Guy
Every generation, a small portion of the population finds they have a potential to be different. Those people can be better, stronger, more magical. Each generation varies in number and strength, but even the weakest of these chosen are infinitely stronger than an average human. Yet even among them, there are large power gaps, where the strong control the weak. As in the normal world, this leads to massive amounts of corruption, with only a handful of the powerful looking out for those below. The world of magic is a dark place, which has lead many to refer to it as The Abyss. Yet even in the darkness you can find light, and many manage to make the best of it and live meaningful lives. Each generation has a different way of interacting with their powers. Because these magical people live much longer than the average person, generations can go on for hundreds of years. Right now, a generation is finally ending, and new way of magic is coming. You are a part of this generation, and you find out that the new way of interfacing with magic is... an RPG style interface? Now comes the era of the Gamers!
You are from Plainsville, Average, USA, a Medium sized town of about 300k-500k people, with a multitude of neighborhoods, and a variety of ethnicity and cultures throughout the city. Fairly average climate, cold in the winter, warm in the summer, rainy in the spring and autumn. Surrounded by patches of forest, with plains and hills interrupting the trees. in the distance you can see the hills turn into mountains, minuscule against the horizon.
Rules:
1) No Godmodding.
2) Really, no Godmodding. I'll break out the dice. Don't tempt me.
3) No Mary Sue/Gary Stu characters. This RP will be a load of fun with interesting and original characters.
4) Please don't argue on any of my decisions. This RP will partially rely on me making decisions about levels gained, stats gained, loot gained, and so on. Please don't fight me on these. Even if I don't love you all equally, I love a balanced game, so I assure you I'm not picking on you and there is a method to my madness.
5) Have fun. Really. If you're not having fun, you're doing something wrong. (Or someone. I wouldn't know)
6) Don't make a scene. PM me. It's the more mature choice and makes everyone look better when a situation goes sour.
7) I'm gonna ask at least one paragraph per post, which means I'm expecting 5-6 sentences a post at least.
8) I will control NPCs and boss monsters. If you need to interact with one, PM me and we'll iron out the details.
9) Have fun. Really. If you're not having fun, you're doing something wrong. (Or someone. I wouldn't know)
10) And of course, Site rules are law.
