Fantasy Game Over

If you just want a smaller group of people... Why not simply have this RP revolve around a classic 4-people Party (i.e 4 Roleplayers, each controlling one character)? It might seem like that would restrict the Roleplayers' selection of classes to ones that haven't been chosen by the 3 other people (effectively leaving the last person to make a character with only one option), but in actuality unbalanced hodgepodge-parties are pretty normal in games, so that restriction is nonexistent. In fact, it would actually be pretty neat to see what the party ends up as, and the conflicts that would arise from an unbalanced party would be realistic, not to mention practically unheard of in writing.

I was actually thinking of switching at a certain points in the story, or if someone has interesting plot development or something in IRL they can be pulled out of the game and due so, but mainly I need to see the characters that will be playing to truly plan for such things.

Yeah that's partly why I wanted to originally bring on 3 people at first, to get that balance team I never got in MMOs, make the RP manage able, so the order system will, and cause I wanted 1 of 2 characters in each of the 4 man team to I kept better track and have a slightly different character than what I usually do. I was thinking of bumping it up to 5 RPers and I have two characters so I can keep track of both parties and everyone else had one, I'd say that the game was still in beta so it glitched out trying to form a 4 man team. ^^;


The RP was't going to remain a small group though. I was thinking of expanding it in multple ways when we reached a certain point in the RP and I had better skills managing a RP. ^^;


But you're right about having an imbalance team, it would make for interesting interaction. ^^

Guys I made up my mind of what I'm going to do~!


instead of taking 3 RPers and making them do two Profiles, I'm going to be asking for 6 Rpers, each having one character (as I have 2...for management), But I like to keep the Order style but instead of all 7 of us waiting for one to take a turn, Each party will have their own order to follow...how does that sound?


Also, sorry for not keeping my promise about getting the RP up yesterday, like happened (common excuse ik... :( ), I had to figure out what to do about general stuff with the RP, and I had some BBcode problems preparing the RP's opening posts. I'll hopefully get that up soon. ^^;

Awesome, everything sounds good to me (: if we wanted o though would we be able to have two characters because I really like playing more then 1 character at a time. If I not I totally understand as well.
 
I'm interested! I'm not very experienced in RP but I was wondering if you could let me take a shot at this, maybe as a character that would only appear during a little part of the story or something. I understand if you only want people with experience though. :)

Trust me, multiple IC tabs gets messy and confusing. Plus, I haven't seen a VR roleplay that has the players exit the simulation, thus rendering the character they made for the "Real Life" portion, useless. In a logical sense, you wouldn't able to remain in something so mentally heavy for weeks at a time.


Yeah I might get thrown in my face "This is Fantasy" but some aspects of realism should apply!

for the time being...no, Only I will but I do hope to get far enough to expand the RP some more to where I be willing to allow it and add more people, but that is way off how ever.

They should be the one and the same person mentally, unless you're playing one those that actually get into a role.it's up to you either doesn't matter for likes and dislikes those are put in the CS for those who like doing those.


As for Bio, based it on the out of game character plz.

I'm going with an Imp, myself. Imps are allowed, right? They're humanoid, after all.

And what you mentioned before reminded me of what I tried to do in my last VR attempt. It was based off of Skyrim and the players HAD to stay in character every time they went in or suffer severe penalties x3
