Infamous for it's rancid red color, the rate of regenerations dwelling on it, and for it's more pesky inhabitants: The Time Lords, a race with knowledge of time travel and space travel,which more or less makes them powerful as gods. To top it off, each of them can change his body up to 12 times, each time donning both a new face, and a new body, but preserving the same mind. From here you will begin your journey. What will you do? Will you stay and be a diplomat? Defend your planet from pesky invaders? Will you go out into the open space and explore like the Doctor? Or will you be a evil figure, just like the Master?

The time lord known as the Leader, sighed as he and Arinda just stood and watched the alien sun wash over Woman Wept, the planet they were currently visiting. It was one of the most beautiful planets in the whole universe. Once, a planet full of oceans and civilisation, and a huge landmark that looked like a woman weeping, hence the name of the planet. Eons ago, a collapsing sun, created an anomaly, and due to that the whole planet froze in a mere second, and everything stood like it was for hundreds and hundreds of years. What they were sitting on right now, that looked like snowy hills formations, were actually the frozen waves of the oceans that once were.

''It's lovely!'' Arinda said as she rested her head against Gendry's shoulder. ''I never visited this before! So much more fun than Anura or Desperus'' she said noting some of the past planets they had visited.


''Indeed'' the Leader noted as they watched a huge overthem, tower in greatness. I come here, after my every regeneration, and I will always do'' he said with a tinge of pleasure in his voice. ''I come here to relax, altough this isn't Diadem, the most relaxing planet in the universe'' he noted chuckling slightly, and tugged Arinda's arm. ''Come on, back to Gallifrey. Our friends are going to wander where we are'' he said as he lead her back to his Tardis, currently chameleoned into a miniature frozen wave. As they stepped inside the red and chrome black TARDIS of the Leader, it whooshed as they made their way back to Gallifrey, their home planet. Hopefully, their friends would have waited for them, because a TARDIS race was being infintiated by some more crazy time-ladies and time-lords, and the Leader wanted to be part of it. As his spacecraft landed, he got out and waited for someone to appear.

A coffin tall enough for around one person begun to appear beside them. it flung open when suddenly a man and a woman begun to come out "So this is your home then hm it seems a bit desalt i give you th-" She said as she saw the two people come out, she looked at the two "Editor! you need to see this" She said as she looked at the two there was a rumbling inside his tardis "What is it now! I was just re configuring the tardis when you shouted i could ha-" he said before seeing the two time lords. "well well hahahaha Brilliant" he said walking towards them "It's nice to see some fellow lord's and laidy's of course here it's just been one hell of a journey My name is the Editor pleasure to meet you " he said as he then begun to look at lilly "oh this is my companion lilly she's from the 1920's suffragette movement" He said introducing them to her

Gendry nodded sligtly and smiled politely as the Editor introduced himself to them. ''Nice to meet you Editor, Lily. I am the Leader'' he said, making the word sound as unimportant as ever, and not something a leadery person would gloat about. Then he turned to his redheaded companion and introduced her to them. ''Oh and this dashing young lady, is Arinda. A fellow time lord. Time-lady.'' he added as he excused himself, when Arinda playfully nudged him.


''Nice to meet you'' Arinda said as he shook hands with Lily and the Editor. ''Are you here for the Tardis race?'' she asked as she inquired.

"Um if you don't mind me asking what is a Tardis race" Lilly said looking at the editor "The tardis race one of the most funnest race in the world we go to the same time period but at different times for example one tardis might arrive a hour before another the objective is to get one object from a time period then go to 5 different time periods getting more and more dangerous the next after that the first one back to gallifrey wins" he said smiling at her as he then looked at her expression. "no way" she said leaving and heading back in the Tardis. "Um sorry about that she's a bit um yeah" he said looking at them as he then begun to open the cofin door and entered "And you wonder why i don't let you meet the family" he said inside his tardis

 

[Elias]

The Leader sighed in delight, as he saw the companion struggle off and the Editor after them. It was so nice seeing the time lord, companion dynamic. It reminded him of his past companion, a really cult silurian who would tend to give lectures whenever possible. ''Come on'' he urged Arinda, as he stepped off and entered the Editor's Tardis, checking it out. ''Nicely decorated'' he said as he stroked a bit of the Editor's Tardis. ''So, are you competing as well, Editor? I would love to race against you this year'' he added with a grin. ''Lily would have the ocassion to watch the world's most timey-wimey race ever'' he said with a chuckle.

 

[Cronix]

A 14 foot tall billboard suddenly appears. A door suddenly opens in the middle of it, and out comes a young Time Lady. Her name is The Explorer. She quickly climbs off of the billboard and stands between the two supposed TARDIS'.


"Helloooooooo! Anyone home?" She asks, "I'm here for the race!"

With a slight buzzing noise another TARDIS started to appear on the surface of Gallifrey. Its shape twisted and turned, in all ways of the word strange and alien to the planet. A small window opened, and the head of a Time Lady known as The Traveler peeked out.


"This isn't Trumn...." she mumbled. "This is home... First star to the right after the second sun in the Aristos Galaxy.... Maybe I took the second star to the right? That sounds about right..."


She jumped out of the window and landed on the ground.


"Did I hear TARDIS race?" she asked her fellow Time Lords and Ladies.

 

[Elias]

''Indeed you have'' the Leader said as he stood in the doorway of the Editor's coffin Tardis. ''You do know the anual time-travelling, space-hopping competition us timelords hold. Not to brag, but I am going to win this year's for sure'' he said as he straightened his tie. Arinda rolled her eyes. ''Quit it, you... Act nicely around other time ladies'' she said as she waved to the girls, being a timelady herself. ''I would have loved if the Doctor was still around for these races'' the Leader mused. ''He would always get up for these, in his early years. Anyways, what planets and time streams have the chosen for the race this time? I failed to get informed I'm afraid''

"thank you anyway yes i'll b participating hm she seemed to be in the theater" he said walking towards her "Lilly i told you Shakespeare isn't here i sent him back 4 days ago" He said as he then begun to walk towards the two time lords "anyway would you like a tour it seems Lilly is of gallivanting again" he said as he looked at the two wondering if they liked the decor of the tardis. He then begun to show them around anyway "well you have seen the main interface beautiful isn't she i made sure she has a body and a face this time" he said smiling as he shown the the hologram of the woman inside the console "also it was to keep Lilly happy" he said under his breath.

"I'm glad he's not around, honestly," The Traveler said. "None of us would stand even the slightest chance if he chose to participate," she added with a chuckle. "And I wouldn't know what the plans are for this year. I missed it the last two times because I had... eh... trouble getting home in time. Even now it's just an accident I made it." She sheepishly scratched the back of her head. "And even if I would be I wouldn't like finding out the details before we start. It robs us of the element of surprise. Which happens to be my favorite element."


She looked at the other TARDIS-es and the interior of the TARDIS she was standing in front of right now. Why did nobody seem to have as many issues with their TARDIS as she?

 

[Elias]

''Beautifully decorated'' the Leader said as he strolled around the Editor's Tardis. ''I really enjoy the overall feeling of home you get from yours, Editor. Also, big fan of the holographic woman'' he said as he regarded the image from the central rotor of the Tardis. This was so much warmer and beautifuller than his travel-based work Tardis. His was heavily red, with overall holographic imagery of planets and lots and lots of roundels. He had a bunch of rooms, but it felt cold sometimes, rather than a place you could call home. Still, he loved his Tardis (which is below )

''How about you, young lady?'' he asked as he turned to the Traveler. ''How does your Tardis fare?''

 

[Spinoceratopsrex]

Silger waited nervously in a waiting room. He had just filled out a TARDIS application forum for the 5th time, and he desperately hoped it would get accepted. Then he heard an announcement. Silgerooslandoniux please report for your application verdict. "That's me." Said Silger to himself.


"Take a seat Silger" Said a man dressed in long black robes. "I would like to congratulate you, you've passed."


Silger nearly doubled over with excitement. "In fact, Your TARDIS is right here." He gestured to a little car. "The camouflage has to be activated manually, but she should be dependable."


Silger didn't need any further encouragement, he kept into the doors and looked at the interior, It was standard, bigger on the inside and all that, but he was still pretty surprised. Then he remembered something, apparently there was to be a TARDIS race today. Silger knew how to fly this thing, he'd done it in training enough


"All right girl, let's see what you can do!" Silger pulled a lever and moments later he stepped out of his TARDIS and checked out the competition.


"Hello!" He said "I heard we're all going to have a race? Allow me to introduce myself, I'm The King. Not actually king of anything, it just sounds cool. Anyway, when do we begin?"

The Traveler turned at the Time Lord and couldn't help but grin lighly.


"She fares well when it comes to getting to places all across time and space, but she has deficiencies when it comes to blending in. So right now she looks like a Bone Tower of Eket'esh. It has its charm of course, but it does draw quite some attention in some times and planets," she said. "And when it comes to looks... Well... It's my little organized mess. I like collecting trinkets of all odds and ends. Memories of places I've visited."


She turned to face the new Time Lord entering, striking up a conversation with them. "My, it's getting busy in here," she chuckled. "You ask a good question though. When do we begin?"

 

[Spinoceratopsrex]

"Are we expecting anyone else?" Asked The King. "Because I am really excited to do this, I need to see what my newly acquired TARDIS can do. Apparently she is dependable, but I'd like to test her out a little more, she fares well traveling through space, but as for time? Well... I don't know."

 

[Elias]

''Apparently not'' the Leader said as he tapped his watch. ''I think it's past the starting time, so it should start soon. Hell, I'm itching to know what planet and obstacle is going to be first. There are loads of planets we could end up first'' he said theorizing. ''Urbanka.Strepto, Earth. Uranus. Any planet would suffice'' he said as he leaned against his own tardis,currently in its basic factory form. ''And as long as the obstacles aren't bloody daleks...I'm fine with it'' he said then a loud noise turned his attention. A Gallyfriean gorn did its signature booming as a Time Lord clad in Gallifreyan robes stayed before them. This was the well known Atroox, a high chancelour and a event planner. He did his best to host all of the races they were doing annualy.

''Dear contestants, fellow time-lords and time-ladies. Let the race commence!'' he boomed with enthusiasm as he watched over the contenstants. There were of course many more, than our fellow heroes there, each with customised Tardises, and wills to win. ''But first we must establish a few rules'' he said as he fished a parchment from his robes. Firstly, each and every one of you will get to their respective time machine, and make way for your first destination which will be drawn randomly from this'' he said as he shown the others a shiining bowl, from which he fished a random planet hologram. ''And the first destination is: Olympus!'' he boomed as he told them the name of the planet. ''Each of you must bring a worthy artefact from there, in order to advance to the next planet. AND IT STARTS''


The Leader sighed in frustration as he heard the name of the first planet they were racing to. This Olympus planet was actually the origin of the various greek myths involving gods like Zeus, Hades etc. Those so-called gods were a race of nearly-immortal aliens that lived on planet Olympus rather than the mountain, as mythology believed. As he rushed into his Tardis with Arinda in the back, he urged. ''Come on, we have to at least arrive first''he said as he fired up his Tardis, and heard hundreds of others doing the same.

An enthusiastic sparkle appeared in the Traveler's eyes. The place known as the origin of many myths of the ancient earth... Truly amazing! How many stories would a world like that have? How many important events would have taken place there? Surely too many to count, and surely too many for her to collect in a short amount of time. After all, she went there for the TARDIS-race this time, and not for just a jaunt. Yet she knew for sure she would go back there one day, and collect stories. It was a shame she would likely have to give up her trinket when she would get back to Gallifrey. But there was plenty more to gather some later time.


She rushed out of the Editor's TARDIS and back into her own, nearly tripping over her own feet as she ran down the steps to get to the operation panel. "To Olympus!" she hollered as she fired up her TARDIS and shot off into time and space.

"LILLY THE RACE IS STARTING GET OUT HERE!!!" the editor said as he got the tardis started "Come on sweet pea get ahead of them come on come on! you can do it sweet pea" he said looking at the tardis as it continued to spin around in space. He then begun to fly the tardis to the planet and set co-ordinets "Okay now what where do i land hm well let's get to the underworld shall we" he said calmly as he then begun to go towards the south of the planet or as the Greeks called it the under world. he begun to land his tardis near what seems to be a cave. "Haha i do beleave we got her first." He said smileing Lilly begun to walk towards the stair case "So what artifact are we getting here anyway" She said looking at him "Well i was thinking the Ice sculpture of Narhana one of the most influential people of Olympus" He said smileing "and how do we get that" she sad "It's only a 30 muinite walk and i got my shrink ray at hand" he said as he rummaged threw a wardrobe and got out what seemed to be a small device no bigger then two fingers "let's go" he said smileing

The Leader stood focused, punching in coordinates in the Tardis's location center, cycling the time stream to the right location and other timey-wimey stuff. ''So, Gendry...What are we taking from there?'' Arinda asked with interest. ''Surely, from a planet as fine as Olympus, many interesting things can be taken. ''


''Oh dearie, I'm gonig way bigger than just interesting. I'm going for the top hook. The Lighting Bolt of Zeus. It isn't what it sounds, like an actual lighting bolt, but rather a ultra high-tech bio-electrical weapon, that is probably the most important out there. No doubt others will try to steal it aswell, so we must be first. Others would be the trident of Poseidon, ice sculpture of Narhana, invisibility cloak and helm of Hades and of course, among others, the Flame of Prometheus'' he added with great interest. ''Our task is going to be much harder though, as we're going to have to infiltrate the Capitol for the bolt'' he said as they finally landed. The planet itself was not out of the ordinary. Lush, green, with marvelous trees, and greek sculptures, and right in the centre of the planet, the building of the Capitol near where they landed. As he got out hastily, he ushered Arinda and went for the Capitol.

She had to try and not have her TARDIS crash into a formation of rocks. "Damn those coordinates... Now I remember why I call you the RETARDIS occasionally..." the Traveler mumbled as she stepped outside to gaze upon her surroundings. She appeared to have landed in the middle of a already rocky field at the foot of a large mountain. Not too far away from her she saw the lush trees of a magnificent forest where many wonderful beings resided.


"So many places to see, so many things to do... So many trinkets to gather..." she mused. "Now what do I go for? People will likely aim for the highest, but the task was to get a worthy artifact. And worthy did not necessarily mean getting the top-notch artifacts from almost godly and immortal beings. Worthy could also be something simpler, something... easier to access. Something like Pan's Flute? Or Dionysos' Goblet? She liked the sound of the latter, mostly because Dionysos was known to be a "god" of partying. Surely someone to host that many events would know interesting stories. And she had quite some stories of her own as well. Perhaps they could exchange some wonderful tales? It would certainly be an interesting endeavor.

 

[Elias]

The Leader snuck in carefully through the backdoor of the Captiol, as he looked back at the two knocked-out guard Olympians who he had doused in amnesia gas. Nasty thing that gas, but it would only hold for a couple of hours, and then they would be back to their jolly old-selfs. Arinda tiptoed closely behind him, as they snuck through the busy corridors of the Capitol. Eventually, they reached the throne room, a place of great importance, where Zeus and Hera, two apparently immortal aliens ruled over Olympus. The Leader thought they looked so smug, that stealing their bolt would be most welcome. Just as he thought that, Zeus suddenly rised from his throne and scoured the room with thundery eyes. ''I sense a presence that is not Olympian, between our midths'' he said as his voice crackled with power. ''Guards. Find however isn't an Olympian. Or a guest'' he said as he sat back down.


Gendry and Arinda waited patiently behind a statue until the guards pass, but the theft would be so much harder now.

Meanwhile Lilly and The editor were nearly at the statue of hades, he smerked as thay didn't have any trouble when he swear he saw a statue "Oh no......oh nonononono!" he said looking towards the statue as he walked towards it it was stone covering it's eyes of course it was human but it had that sort of eary feeling "oh god Lilly don't you dare blink" he said looking at her how would there be weeping angles at this point of the race unless other aliens have heard of there endevor he got his phone out and begun to call the Leader "Come on pick up!" he said staring at the angel

"Alright then." Said the King. "Olympus it is ." He stepped into his TARDIS and pushed a few buttons, in a few moments he was on the planet. "Now, what should I take, hmmmm. Not the lightning bolt, since everyone else seems to want it." The King paused for a moment. "I'll take the trident of Poseidon, that should be interesting." The King drew his katana and walked forward, looking for the location of the trident.
