Galaxy Cirque Show (Hessy + Gogojojo331)

Juno Arch
Juno hated the idea of having to share. Even as a child she despised it when Lil' Arch or Nino would play with her toys even if she had outgrown them. It was a personality trait that Juno had adopted and lived by. Even to this very day she cringes when her best friend, Peter would touch her cards. Overall, Juno wasn't exactly what you'd stereotype as a 'nice' girl. She had her quirks, and sarcastic comments. That's why she was terribly stirred when got news from the ringmaster, Rye, informing the dark jester of their newly formed deal. If one thing was sure- she didn't want to share her circus.

The dark haired seventeen year old narrowed her blue eyes, staring bitterly at the man standing in front of her. Bile slowly lifted up her throat as she listened. "Juno... c'mon... even Nino has enough sense to know that if we keep up like this, we'll be out of business." Juno bit her lip, pushing the bile back down. She wet her lips, before finally speaking up against the ringmaster.

"No." The jester said firmly, not willing to bend her opinion. She sat down on the stage, looking at the rows of empty seats. With a sigh, the girl crossed her legs. Her father had built this extended tent with his own hands. He had created this circus, he was the head. There was no way in hell that Juno would allow his memory or work go to waste. Of course, Rye did have a persuading argument, but none the less she declined.

"Juno." Upon hearing her name, the girl turned back to see Peter approach from the curtains. He walked next to Rye, his wooden pan flute in his hands. Juno had known the ginger for so long that she knew that he fiddled with his musical instrument when he was stressed or anxious. "Just, consider it. Rye already sealed a deal with them. Think of it. We won't have to scavenge for money anymore. Good little 'Smiles Cirque' won't have to be the happiest place on earth anymore. It can evolve into 'Galaxy Cirque', the happiest place
in the galaxy." He tried to prompt his best friend as he took a seat by her on the curb.

Even Juno couldn't deny that he had a point. "What about all we worked for?" She asked him in a soft whisper, not sure if she wanted to let it all go for some joined circus that might not even work.

"Well, don't think of it as if we're disposing the work... think of it more like as if we're just doing more work to make our little place even bigger." Peter put his flute down on his lap. "And, as much as you might hate it... it's too late to change our minds. Your authority is a little overdue. This new circus should be arriving here any second. So just do what you do best..."

"Okay, only because the show must go on." She finally sighed, giving in. "The show must go on..." Juno stood up, stretching a little as she observed the red chairs. She didn't like this idea- not at all- but maybe she could make an exception this one and only time.

Josh looked at the grass where the mighty Cirque Amazing once stood. It was the end of an empire as he watched the Repo men take it away. Lenny, the 'Worlds Smartest Man' said that it was because Ringmaster Huey hadn't does his taxes like He told him. Bearded Janice a huge drinking and gambling problem, and Tiny Tom told him it was because of the mafia. Josh thought it was that the government found him after all this time. At least he'd like to think that. Since he was the closest to next of kin that Huey had, he had to sign the papers himself. "Thought he could live forever, the crazy man." Garry told him. Josh felt like Huey's last trick was making him the fall guy for all of this. Since he signed the papers, everyone thought he sold them out. People stared daggers at him wherever he went, and one time, a real dagger was thrown at him by Knife Guy (He swore it was an 'accident'). He sat on a rock, as his dog, Little Buddy, curled next to him for comfort.
