the story takes place somewhere in japan, and the first day of school! the story involves 6 girls, who will become firnds, and spend time together after school!

without further ado, let's begin!

 

[Sage Leaf]

the alarm rang loudly, waking a girl up. the girl had pink hair, and she was 16. she sat up in her bed, and looked at the window. she groaned and looked at her calander on the wall. i guess it's the first day of school again huh? thhis never gets old. escpecially after summer... she thought to herself as she climbed off her bed. she stood up, streaching and yawning, she heard another alarm go off...


a large smack was heard coming from the room next to the pink haired girl's. a 14 year old girl's arm slid off the nightstand, after she hit the snooze button. she groaned, and turned over, thinking it was still summer...


in another place, about a mile or 5 away from the other girl's, someone with blonde, unkempt hair slammed her alarm just before it made the sound, and she punded it, making it stop and cracking the front of it as well... she sat up, and from the looks of it, she also looked about 16. she thought to herself, i really need a metal alarm. whenever i use these stupid cheapy things i end up wih a fistful of plastic fragments... she said getting out of bed.

Koharu Kato's eyes snapped open as soon as the all-too-familiar ring of her alarm went off. She sighed, sitting up with a yawn and shut off the alarm. The room she was in was massive and lavishly decorated, and the sleepy-eyed girl was wearing an fancy lavender night dress. She left her room, eating breakfast by herself and getting dressed into her school uniform.


'It's been a while since I've worn this' Koharu thought to herself, tying her hair into twintails with her favorite red ribbons. She took a look at herself in the mirror and nodded. "Elegant as ever!" she said smugly to nobody in particular. After all, she thought, someone as influential as her at school had to always look her best! There was just one more thing she needed to take care of.

Keiko Kato's eyes opened blearily as a loud ramming on her door echoed in her ears. "What?" she mumbled. "I'm sleeping." From the door burst her elder sister, who looked very irritated. "Keiko, I told you to wake up half an hour ago! What happened to your alarm?"


"Calm down, onee-chan," Keiko said, sitting up in her bed with her eyes still half-shut. "I switched it off."


"You switched it off? There's school today, idiot!"


"Huh? Today?"


"Yes, and if you don't get ready, we'll be late! Hurry up!"


The door slammed shut, and Keiko began to get ready. She was certainly not a morning person.

By the time that her alarm went off, Yoshiko Matsuoka had been awake for two hours. She had to start practicing for her track team, which would start the week after school started. And so, every morning she had been getting up early to do stretches and runs around her neighborhood. Not that it bothered her - Yoshiko had always loved mornings. They energized her, and she was even more energized than usual on this morning. The first day of school! She couldn't wait to meet her friends again.

the girl looked in the mirror, and tried to smile, but she was a bit too tired for it... she turned around, and on her door was her schol uniform. this made her give a dreamy sigh. maybe i'll meet someone this year... she thought to herself as she walked over to it, and undressed to put it on.


suddenly, the girl's eyes opened. she sat up straight as fast as she could, and her long deep purple hair flew everywhere. "School!" she shouted as she tried to get up, but fell straight on her face after standing out of the bed. from her face in the carpet, there was a mumble... "oi stoood op tooo fost..." she said getting up with her arms that lacked strength.


the door swung open, and the blonde rushed to her table to get herself the breakfast that her mom prepared for her. on the door was a sign that read "kate's room no entry permitted unless you want your head to be a trophy on the wall! > " it said.

"Are you ready yet? You're taking forever!" Koharu shouted upstairs. "What are you even doing up there?"


"Consulting with the spirits!" Keiko replied, trying to sound mysterious.


"Not that dork stuff again! Jeez, Keiko, you're in high school now!"


"It's not dork stuff!" Keiko protested, but finished brushing her teeth and exited the bathroom. "I'm ready now."


"Finally! Let's go. I want to see if I can be class rep this year, so we absolutely can't be late!" said Koharu firmly. She opened the front door, and she and Keiko began the short walk to school.

Yoshiko had arrived at school earlier than she needed to, so that she could try running on the track field again. She grinned - it had really been too long since she'd exercised at school. Only when other students started to trickle in did Yoshiko remember that she also had to attend class. The grin turned to a grimace. Academics had never been her strong point. She shrugged and wiped the sweat off her brow, making her way up to her new classroom.

"Yokiyo we're going to be late!" she shouted at her little sister.


"alright i'm coming..." she said wearing the white uniform with the yellow bow.


"hey mom got to go, i'll be late! mind if i take it on the run?" the girl shouted as she grabbed the piece of toast in her mouth with the carefully spread jam on it. "be careful kate-chan! you might trip!" her mom said as kate ripped the door open. "i'm not in middle school mom! i'm in high school now!" kate said as she ran backwards, and almost tripped running that way. her mom made the 'i told you so...' face she does, and kate just rolled her eyes and kept running.
