GAIA Universe Timeline

????

  • Gaia and lifekind is born into the physical realm from The Hexlords, the Six Gods of Creation.
  • Vast ("God of the Void") The Unknown Depths. Vast separates heaven from the earth, water from the land, air from airless space.

  • From the depths of Gaia comes Amare, the first ever Mortal and demi-goddess of love, life, and fertility. The age of these mortals were coupled with divine essence; They were known as Immorti.

    • Flux ("The God of Existence") gives creation to the Immorti Obitus ("demi-god the Unknown") and the being known as Deleo ("demi-god of darkness").
    • Vast gives birth to Imperius ("demi-god of The Sky") and Unda ("demi-god of The Sea"). Vast domains Imperius as King of The Immorti.

      • Amare, Unda, and Imperius fertilizes Gaia with rains, and from Terra spring the mountains, the water, the animals and plants. Vita ("The God of Essence") creates the first beast, of divine origin named Tytan.

      • Vita creates Regina ("demi-goddess of the soul and spirit") After Amare's image, and Flux domains Regina as Queen of The Immorti.
  • Imperius and Regina fashion together an Immorti Pantheon of half mortals half divine, featuring Io ("demi-god of law and order") and the First Son of The Immorti. The Pantheon that followed were Abstracte ("demi-god of light and healing"), Venari ("demi-god of the hunt, archery, cosmos"), Bellum ("demi-god of war"), Sohpia ("demi-goddess of wisdom"), Tellus ("demi-god of Earth"), Voluntas ("demi-god of will and desire"), Figura ("demi-goddess of fire and strength"), Doctrina ("messenger demi-goddess and of magic), Bellua ("demi-god of nature and wildlife"), Animus ("demi-god of emotion and purpose"), and Res ("demi-goddess of reality and perception")
  • Regina channels the power of The Hexlords in isolation to create Vigor ("demi-god of occurrence and being") and Eon ("The God of Time") creates Aevum ("demi-god of history and eternity"). Regina is the only Immorti to ever directly channel the power of the Hexlords.
  • In order to monitor the affairs of The Immorti on Gaia, The Six created The Entity, of pure divine essence to administer mortalkind into the new age. But the entity saw and realized its superiority over the halfkind, wanting its place among the higher realm with The Six. The Entity started to corrupt the Immorti by the sheer power of its will alone. The Immorti begin to feel sin.

  • Imperius, jealous of the Tytan's strength, and angered by the arrogance of the beast, banishes it into The Depths. Obitus then learns to tame the beast and moves to create his own realm known as the Underrealm as his alone, stealing beasts from Gaia to bring into The Underrealm.
  • Imperius devises a way to quell Obitus' tyrannical rule and fashions a weapon to battle him, called Umbrabreaker. Aevum battles Obitus, defeating him and sealing The Underrealm off from the realm of Gaia for good. Aevum then becomes the keeper of history and lore for The Immorti after retiring from his service to the divine.
  • The First race of purely mortal men of Gold are created, the Golden Age. Created directly from The Pantheon with created organic life from Gaia & lifekind. They lived in unending spring and abundance. Having few women, they die off becoming the holy spirits of the planet. It is said that only extremely few survived this era. They were known as Indivines, or Null-Immorti.
  • After a time incomprehensible, Imperius rules over planet Gaia as opposed to just The Immorti. Bellua & Tellus presides as his advisors.

~10 million B.I.

  • The Silver race of mortal men are created. Deviations of Human start to alter mortalkind, as their awareness and arrogance gave them the name of Elven. After spending a centuries being cared for as babies, they offer no honor to the Immorti, and Imperius shuns them under council of Bellum. They become the spirits of the Underrealm upon death, while the ones who survived went on to become what's known as the prehistoric men and women of Gaia. Deleo retains dominion over the dead spirits and powers Obitus' regime in The Underrealm. From the Unknown Depths emerge the first pure beastkind, Orcish, Bimen, and Aquaven.
~1 million B.I.

  • The Bronze race of mortalkind are created from ash and the life of Gaia. The beasts and man co-mingle within the planet and soon unify as one society. They are warlike and soon kill themselves off. The ones that survive become primal, feral, and very much animalistic. They were known as Weremorti, known for drinking the blood of beasts in offering to the gods, in which corrupted their primal sense into that of abominations of mankind.

  • An age of trying to attain mortals back into the light of The Immorti and Hexlords, heroes and their demigods emerges from the mating of divine fathers and the (Bronze) mortal mothers. It is probably during this period that the remaining Demi-Immorti and Indivines were born, and had their adventures against the Weremorti. It was a time of conquest between man, beast, and werebeast.
~20,000 - 10,000 B.I.

  • The current (Green) age of mortals are created. Some are created autochthonously, others are created by the Demi-Immorti and Indivines attempting to recreate the life essence of Surge ("The God of Energy"). The first purely sinful woman's name was Eve. Eve's curiosity of The Unknown Depths releases all the evils into the world. Imperius tires of mortality, and sends a flood to destroy them. The first purely sinful man, Adam warns his son Prometheus the First Son of New Life, whom he fathered with Eve. After nine days flood, they land safely on Mount Divine (Now current day Stonehaven Peak). Imperius allows them to repopulate the world, with them unaware of the ages of mortals & beasts created before them on Gaia and all the sin that would come.

0 B.I.

  • The Impartment. The collective of all the prior events in history leading up to one giant moment of battle in which all five races of mortalkind battle for ultimate conquest and dominion over Gaia. In the years before, tensions and sin had lead to mistrust in greed of power and control. The heads of all five races met at the Summit of Darkness (The cliffs overlooking the Unknown Depths) to wage a treaty, but was instead met by ambushes from all the other races and factions. This was the singlemost bloodiest, treacherous, slaughter in the history of Gaia. Some even say this was the moment the Hexlords abandoned mortals for all eternity. After a year long crusade of blood and battle, the races eventually realized that if the death continued, the underrealm and spirits alike would plague the land and replace them, so they all formed an armistice, granting each other Five Provinces in Gaia to retain their ways and rulership, while allowing any mortalkind to live and serve in the name of life and advancement. Stonehaven was given rule to the Orcish, Waterwick was given rule to the Aquaven, Oaktown was given rulership to the Elven, Millcastle was given ownership to the Bimen, and finally Fairgate was given to the Humans. Genesis ("The God of Knowledge") Watched unassumed by mortals from Gaia, before vanishing without a trace.

80s A.I.

  • (81 A.I.) Princess Armala Fairgate was born in Fairgate City, Fairgate.

100 A.I.

  • Current year and age for the world of Gaia.

GAIA Locations

4b063fba0708d7e006cd04bbcc6916f1.jpg

  • Stonehaven Province - The Stone Province is home to mostly Orcish. It was founded after The Impartment by the Orc Chieftain Grox-All. It was here that the world's first purely independent humans set foot on Mount Divine, or now known as Stonehaven Peak. Many settlements and forts are encased in hard stone and cold steel. It is by far the most fortified area on Gaia. You will find many of the best weapons and armor here, as well as the absolute best schools and locations to forge and create weapons. However, the Orcs are a selective bunch, and while the Impartment Armistice allows any race to freely venture into any province, the Orcish are very strict about their traditions and bylaws. Stonehaven Peak lies north of the province in the deep mists, making it dangerous to climb. Shadowhill is an isolated settlement that houses many families seeking to live a "reclusive" lifestyle. This is where you find the vagabonds, criminals, and underground operatives at. It's a very dangerous place that usually ends in death for a common traveler. Clearlake borders the Waterwick Province to the southeast, usually used as a trade/shipping port. Coldriver borders the Fairgate Province and contains The Astral Falls, where it was once said The Entity was banished from Gaia. Stonehaven City is the capital, and consists of a fortified castle that the toughest army could not breach. King Snaak-All domains the province. It's the largest province in the world.
  • Waterwick Province - The Sea Province is predominantly Aquaven race, but they are the most generous when it comes to welcoming in all walks of life. They excel in commerce and port trades, much of the currency coming in is through imports and exports. Founded after The Impartment by Saintaloas The Swift, he and all his followers migrated to Waterwick and began expansion. Though it only has a few settlements, the province is still probably the most visited by wanderers, adventurers, wayfarers, and tourists alike. Its beaches and tropical climate is ideal for any one to come and see. To the far north lies Oldshore, where many retired mortals of Gaia go to spend their days in bliss. It's also home to the GAIA fishing competitions and Gaia Sea Exploration Brigade. Far southeast comes Seafield, also known as Sailor's Grave. The deep mists make it almost impossible to trek through, with all sorts of unidentified and untamed creatures lurking in both sea and land. And just south and west comes the cliffs overlooking The Unknown Depths, the most mysterious wonder of the world in Gaia. No one has ever descended down and came back to tell the tale. In ancient times, it was where the beastfolk emerged, and the Hexlords and Immorti dwelled to create Gaia. Further west is Strongriver, a whitewater rapids settlement where passers from Millcastle travel through. And in the center lies Waterwick City, capital and lead by Queen Sariatlantis. The city is known for its trade and commerce, especially having the most obscure and rarest items and resources for sale you won't find anywhere else.
  • Millcastle Province - Founded by Tyronnius The Bimen after the Impartment. The Canyon Province is the least populated Province, but the most abundant for natural resources. Wheat, fruit, vegetables, and other earthly raw materials can be found and harvested here. It only has one settlement other than the capital, and is primarily surrounded by mines, canyons and dryland. With Fairgate to the north and Oaktown to the Northwest, they make plenty of commece by offering exclusive deals to the neighboring provinces. It is connected to a plateau with the ocean in the south, but it is largely dry and vast. It's primary source of materials comes from a farm settlement named Wheathollow. Many farmers, alchemists, herbalists, and doctors migrate here for research and study. What it lacks in people and beauty it makes up for in medicinal and natural resource usage. It's also the province that follows the most tradition of the old ways, with many spiritual elders and old-fashioned mortals residing here to worship in peace. Millcastle City is lead by a Bimen King named Roarnar, as he is a rather indifferent ruler and focuses on his natural raw materials. He's more of a bureaucrat than anything.
  • Oakgreen Province - Founded by Elven warrior Alisithar after The Impartment, the province is home to the Elven, and much do they remind the world of such a fact. An entitled sense of arrogance is the common demeanor when entering the province, as the elves waste no time reminding outsiders who runs the province and not to mettle in the ways of The Green Province. They house the most renown aesthetic marvels and hunters in the world, of all races, and are known for slaying very perilous beasts and completing bounties on creatures that other provinces may not be able to handle. Their wealth comes from such bounties and also using skins, furs, and parts from beasts to attribute to resources, weapons, armor, and concoctions around the world to the other kingdoms. Greenhollow is where the independent organization known as The Gaia Guard lies. They are a collection of hunters, (legal) mercenaries, and scout operatives that carry out the orders of people / places / figures in need. Wildecoast is a wealthy settlement where the rich and refined royalty / wealthy of Gaia go to enjoy leisure and festivities. It is filled with high priced inns, items, and activities that only the higher ladder of society can partake in. Poor or commoners are not recommended to go unless you'd like to be embarrassed and frowned upon. Way north near Stonehaven canals lies Norview, a settlement which is used to travel between the rivers and canals of Gaia. They also hold the Gaia College, a place where the most intelligent and skilled go to research and hone fields of study to assert themselves as top brass in the world. It isn't without great cost however. The capital of Oakgreen is known as Oaktown, where Queen Narmazah domains over her people with grace yet ferocity. You can find the best proclaimed army here, the Oakgreen Guard, known to have the absolute best archers and stealth operatives in the world. Oaktown is the largest Capital by area.
  • Fairgate Province - Founded by Protius Fairgate the Godbane after The Impartment. The Golden Province is lush with beautiful wildlife and a balanced climate featuring many resources contained from a little of each province. It is geographically the best place in the world, with an amassed wealth from various commerce with all other provinces in Gaia. It is the most balanced with every race and the most commutable and commercial. It also has the best well-rounded physically capable and fit fighters on the planet, The Fairguard. Their General is the descendant of Protius' right hand man, known as Arches the Absolute. Easily the most versatile and adaptive province. It only has two main settlements, but only needs two. As the most populated province, it boasts a plethora of services from courier services, to interprovincial markets, to constant military patrols and security. Maybe not as in depth as other provinces, but you can find a little bit of everything here, especially the rarest creature known to mortal, The Dragon. Only Fairgate has them, but seeing one is as good as having a death wish. They are by no means tamed or capable thereof. They're usually left at peace in the Valley of Draken. Fairhill is a settlement in which serves as home to the World Seat of Council, consisting of an equal number of race members on a panel to meet for annual relations between provinces. It's also the most diverse settlement on the planet with any and every mortal being found here from all social groups and types. The capital of Fairgate City under dominion of King Lyus Fairgate rules with an iron yet compassionate fist. It is home to the Archseum, an ancient building containing all lore and history of Gaia and key figures & events. There's also a couple of secrets known only to higher members of Fairgate citizens... rumored to know of a hidden weapon and secret location among the capital.
  • The Unknown Depths - Don't go.
