Hiya! I have structured this ad into two categories - please read both of them!

Me and my RP preferences:

Now, I suppose I should introduce myself! I'm a 21 year old woman studying law, with a particular interest in political science and philosophy. I am a literate roleplayer (3-5 paragraph replies), and I'm in a timezone close to GMT. I also love to yap with my partners OOC, and discuss our common areas of interest.

There are three basic things I request from my partners, and I am happy to accommodate similar wishes:
  1. I totally understand that life happens - I'm not the sort of person to constantly nag for quick responses. However, I'll kindly ask that you inform me before any long-term absences.
  2. I don't expect my partners to necessarily match my response length (you're more than welcome to, though!), but I'd really appreciate greater effort than just two sentences.
  3. Being open to discussing stuff OOC.
And lo and behold, the plot itself:

The plot

I'm looking for someone who can RP as a male character in a historical romance/drama plot (your real life gender is irrelevant). The setting is a "forbidden romance" story set between an American teacher hired to instruct the heir of a Japanese nobleman, and the widowed nobleman himself at the turn of the 20th century (I'm thinking anytime between 1890 and 1910?). A main subplot will of course be the fact that both of their families&social circles would be opposed to their relationship, not to add the many cultural and class differences between them.

As you can well guess, the plot is meant to be long-term - it is guaranteed to last for at least a month if not longer.

Please do message me if your interest has been piqued!
