Stapler-A
bob that sponges
NOTE: As of today, my hands are a little full and I am only looking for 1 or 2 more partners because I'm greedy So I will be a little pickier!
Hi! I'm A and my pronouns are she/her. I'm 21+ and a college art student looking to stretch some creative muscles. I am a literate roleplayer and can write up to varying lengths, from 300-1000+ words dependent on the scene. I strongly prefer realistic faceclaims, but am open to using other kinds of face claims (anime, manga, illustrations) as long as they are appropriate. I also only communicate OOC in the long term via discord, but am open to IC responses staying on-site.
I am looking for a fxf slice of life / modern romance roleplay. I love incorporating diversity and considering how different identity factors influence a character's development; how do culture, gender, race, sexuality, or background influence their disposition, motivations, desires, and fears? I also enjoy tackling darker themes and writing angst, although this is not a must. I like fluff and comedy relief too!
Please review my expectations tab to know more! Some of my expectations are also non-negotiable for me and they're important to note.
1) I'm searching for a long term roleplay partner who must be 21+ (not for any reasons of sensitive roleplaying subject matter, but because I would be more comfortable roleplaying with someone around my age or older), who is very active and able to engage with me in fervent OOC chatter. I enjoy getting to know my roleplay partners and making new friends. My investment is greatly motivated by sociability. I want to find someone who is as equally excited as I am about creating sapphic OCs and having them fall in love!!2) Please be open to meticulous plotting; please contribute to world building and plot discussion. I am slow to get to the actual writing portion of a roleplay because I am a meticulous planner that always has way too many logistical questions. I need structure. Smoothing out the nooks in a plot is one of my favorite parts though, so let's have fun with the brainstorming!3) Politically speaking, I am fairly progressive so I would prefer my partner to have similar political or social values. I do not tolerate any bigotry.3) I don't mind at all if my partners are busy or get busy, but due to past experiences of not being able to jumpstart a roleplay, I'm looking for someone who has a lot of free time on their hands. I'm usually able to chat daily throughout the day, but I have started school recently so I may be less readily available. I'm still pretty active though and I'd prefer someone who has the schedule and energy to match.4) I value communication a LOT. If you're busy or not feeling the rp anymore, let me know! And I'll do the same. If I haven't responded in a while, it's likely because I've been very busy and the roleplay has slipped my mind. Please poke me! There won't be any hard feelings.5) No one-liners. I am not too particular about length, but would prefer someone who can write at least a few paragraphs with fairly decent grammar and spelling.
I promise my expectations aren't high! I just want to find a roleplay partner who can scream paragraphs at me about our sapphic OCs If it matters, I'm also an artist and will likely draw our characters at some point if I grow a severe case of brain worms
If you're interested, please send me a message! And PLEASE, introduce yourself with an explicit confirmation of your age!
A slowburn fxf romance in a realistic or modern setting with minimal to no supernatural elements.
I enjoy slice of life. I enjoy horror. I also enjoy modern fantasies including elements like: magic, superpowers, supernatural / occult horror (creatures, monsters, etc.), zombies, and more, HOWEVER, only in light doses. Fantastical or supernatural elements can overcomplicate stories and I do not have the energy for a major world-building operation. I am mainly looking for a light-hearted roleplay at the moment. I am not opposed to any drama, angst, political strife, or major conflicts though; conflicts drive plot after all. I would simply like to focus on romance and I find that having too many other elements can quickly shift a story from one genre to another (ie: romance co-opted into an action-thriller).
If you have an idea, just pitch it to me! Chances are I can be persuaded. I'm flexible.
Developed Plot Cravings:
These are open to change!
TLDR: two ex-friends are trapped inside a cabin amid a dreadful snowstorm, forced to confront old haunts of their bygone friendship.

They were best friends once. More than that, they were kindred spirits, attached at the hip, moving as one between all of the important life stages: first crushes, first periods, heartbreaks, graduations. They even shared the same birthdays. If fate wasn't real, then what was the science behind their perfect entanglement?
Well, contrary to their fairytale beginnings A supposed they couldn't have been that perfect. Their friendship didn't survive past college freshman year, couldn't even beat the national average statistical probability of failure, so really, how unique could their friendship have been?
Now four years later, A was graduating and moving soon too, like a fledgling embarking into the world. But her friends pleaded with her: "Please, please, please, come on a trip with us! You're due for a getaway and you have the rest of your life to sell your soul to corporate, but please, just this once, join us for a long weekend!" And that she did. She entrusted her friends to plan their weekend getaway-- a 4-day retreat to a chalet tucked away in the Austrian Alps. Then finally, the day of departure arrived, and all A had to do was show up and try to have fun, but then... she saw her.
If fate wasn't real, and she was to believe that the concept of destiny was simply a story, a byproduct of one colossal misunderstanding of statistical anomalies invented by whimsical dreamers, then there had to a puppeteer out there somewhere orchestrating her life. It was too late to drop out of this trip now, and the worse was still yet to come. Nothing could have prepared A for this freak encounter, for the painfully awkward plane ride, and of course, the snowstorm that would sweep over them that very weekend, trapping A, B, and their mutual friend group, in their chalet for much longer than just 4 days.TLDR: two girls were involved in a fiery dalliance that ended abruptly in heartbreak. one girl moves away to cope. years later, they meet again, and wounds reopen.
