Current lore - the mirrorborns and hellspawn are at war and their war has shook the very world of boratha and the continent of aurora to it's core causing devision of sides between many of the races of aurora including the elves of invernus
History - the five gods of boratha created aurora in the image of variety over perfection and eventually the gods became myths and legends only being prayed to by the few races who still believed in said gods along with other deities popping up over time
