Bit of a Zac Efron look, but darker hair. He has the ripped body. Appears to be in his early to mid 20’s.
A new inmate breaks out of a supermax facility just one month after his arrival. His appearance - 6’7”, with a long list of scars (most coverable by clothing), and a limp (left hip) - make it tough to hide himself. At least he has no tattoos. He cleans up very nicely. But he was in supermax Level 6 for a reason. It barely slowed him down.
He is highly educated with an IQ off the charts. He has multiple doctorates, with several lesser degrees. But he is also athletic, with a past in Soccer, Gymnastics, and Football. Mountain climbing was a hobby. He was trained by US Marines in the use of a rifle.
His crime - which he will no doubt claim innocence to - is one of treason. But no ordinary charge of treason would land him in a supermax. He would have to pose an extremely serious threat to both national and global security.
Your Character
You are the damsel that our fugitive may meet and force to drive him around. (He will NEVER threaten a child or use one as a hostage. If you have one, he will avoid you or let you go.) Better yet, you are on vacation in the wrong place, one he expected to be vacant. He may simply try to avoid you.
Yes, you will need a CS (No animated gifs please.) I am looking for a character more complex that some cardboard cutout. Breathe a little life into her.
Initial Setting
Saturday Sept 5, 2037 Morning - one month after Escape
Live Oaks Island, SC
James Miller, not that was his real name, looked in the direction of the sound of the car approaching the island. Live Oaks Island was owned by him - in another life. He had left his business dealings in place in such a way that his employees would never be out of a job. He had very little residential real estate. Most had belonged to his parents. Live Oaks had belonged to his mother. He had turned control of his businesses to Marcy Adams, his estate manager. She, in turn, hired and trained staff to run individual sites.
It had been easy enough to use a back door to assign himself one of the 8 homes and take it off the Available list. These were long term rental units anyways.
The unit he had selected shared a dock with another home. As luck would have it the driver of the car was his new neighbor. That was something he really had hoped to avoid. He mentally kicked himself and made a note to put that house was not Available either once this neighbor went home.
His own boat was a 40 foot solar deep sea fishing yacht. (The docks of the islands could handle up to 60 feet.) It was completely capable of operating itself, though it was generally required to have someone at the helm. He had stolen this one from … himself, altering the records as needed, forged the licenses. He had been getting the boat ready to do some more fishing. He did his best to keep to himself.
And that was now a problem. He could only hope his new neighbor hadn’t seen him. He had gotten up early and done some crabbing and floundering. He had also caught a dozen lionfish and was keeping them in a barrel. The crabs had a large saltwater tank. But he couldn’t leave the flounders for long. He needed to get those filleted. He would have preferred to finish his work and get in the house and out of sight - or simply take off in the yacht.
He ended up by picking up his catch of the wee hours - some dozen flounders in one hand and hauled them into the house. He only barely made it to closing the door before the newcomer got to the split in the road. The one to the left (south), Unit 1, was his. To the right (North), Unit 2, was hers. He only now realized his mistake. The north unit would have offered a little more privacy. He walked back to the kitchen and laid the flounder in the sink. Then curiosity got the better of him and he walked back to see if the woman had enough brains to follow the directions she should have been given.
He wondered how long he could avoid her. He wondered if he should.
